One of the best places I have stayed in a long time We were driving from Boston to southeastern Indiana and looked for an hour in multiple different towns to find vacancy on the drive I am so glad everywhere else was sold out because the Westfield Inn was the best sleep I had on our trip

The sheets were so so soft and the rooms were incredibly clean Audrey the manager is AMAZING too! So friendly and welcoming I would go back in a heartbeat if I ever just need a good nights sleep! Thank you SO much Audrey for your amazing hospitality!!

We pulled in with our 39 foot Motor Coach and no one there was the slightest concerned They said it was no problem at all When I said we would be completely unloading it and putting everything into storage, they said no problem

When our room was overlooking the highway so very noisy, she moved us to the back side overlooking our coach When we needed to leave it there an extra day to continue unloading it before we turned it in for some repairs, he said not a problem Both the day and night desk people were so helpful and pleasant On top of that, the room was nice and clean I highly recommend the staff and facility

Melissa DelBoccio

I love eating here The chef is amazing

Everything I order is always delicious, seasoned perfectly, and perfect temperature A few times I’ve asked to speak with him and he’s been so kind and has great manners You should offer to go orders just with his food Even if we don’t stay at the hotel, cuz his food is the best! The rooms are what you’d expect for a Holiday In but are nice I wish you’d be able to go outside on the balcony on the 4th floor but I understand whyAlso, it would’ve nice to have an indoor pool but the outdoor pool is super niceThe staff is very sweet and I’d definitely come back

Roxanne Cross

Decent hotel, gives me an outdated vibe Somethings looked old, especially the furniture in the rooms and my room smelled funny I also hated the shower only has one door so the floor was getting really wet

Loved they had a pool, it’s outdoor but still pretty nice The clerk was super helpful in helping us navigate the area Overall I would go back if I needed a hotel in the area again

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was terrific The experience was delightful Medina is not a long drive from Cleveland

The amenities were great The service was excellentOur room was fabulous and clean While it would be nice to have our beds made daily again instead of when we leave, there was plenty of linen at our disposalThe bathrooms were clean as well My mother and I slept like monarchs Thank you, Holiday Inn Express Medina, for a beautiful stay

Madison Vidman

I had to travel in from pretty far out of state for an urgent family matter It was easy to book, the staff was friendly and extremely accommodating, the rooms were extremely quiet, the blackout shades were great, and the breakfast was really a life saver! Cannot express how grateful I am to how well things went at this Hotel, my stay there really helped alleviate a lot of stress

molly mitchell

We had originally scheduled a stay here for one night and due to unforseen circumstances we ended up staying 8 nights 99% of the staff were AMAZING The staff, all the women who worked during the day, housekeeping, breakfast area everyone, were wonderful

They were so helpful and their customer service was outstanding All except one gentleman who worked the desk in the morning For reasons unknown This one gentleman continually gave me a hard time about my service dog He insisted that I use the side or back door Not only did that not make sense seeing as how the elevator is by the front door and going in the side meant walking my service dog half way across the hotel to get to the elevator, handicap parking is at the front which also meant walking halfway around the building(sidewalks were covered in ice)but the entire rest of the staff knew that they were having problems with the card access, half the time it did not work Another member of the staff, a younger guy who worked at night told us that they were aware of the problem but unfortunately there maintenance man had been injuredAs a traveling tradesmen my husband spends 45 weeks a year in hotels many of which are IHG brand(holiday inn express is his go too) and he made mention more than once that the staff at this particular Holiday Inn express were great What was an extremely difficult time for my family (This was not a work related stay nor a vacation)was made quite a bit easier thanks to The staffThank you to everyone who went above and beyond to made things easier It was/is greatly appreciated

Staying here right now and just wanted to shout the place out for excellent service I arrived earlier than expected (before check-in time) I was informed that the room was not ready, but the person at the front desk went to check on it

I was then informed that I could go ahead and head to my room for the night, which was much appreciated after a long day of driving Later on, I noticed that my room was missing soap, presumably because I was early and housekeeping wasn’t able to finish everything up, so I called the front desk Soap was at my door in literally about a minute I appreciate the service here and have thus far had a very comfortable stay Should I be passing through again, I will plan to go here

Although this is better than most other hotels in the area This stay wasn’t without issue’s The reason we chose this hotel was for the swimming pool

Well after having to change rooms 3 times and the breakfast declining daily Today we wanted to take our grandkids to the pool After putting on swim suits and making our way to the pool The water temperature was about 65 degrees I mentioned it to management who hadn’t checked it in a few days They reset the heater 8 hours later, the water is still cold We ill be checking out early and looking for somewhere that is capable of taking care of their paying guests

Clete S’on

I really wanted this Fairfield Inn stay to be good

but the room and facilities were sub-par The back/top of the toilet was missing, there was long dark hair all over the bathroom floor, filters were left out of the AC on the windowsill and there was a large, encrusted spider attached to the tub The wi-fi was sloooooow and the breakfast was a C- All that being said, the available Staff was really professional and friendly in all of my interactions with them The lobby facilities were cleanI notified the front staff about the room issues, but didn’t receive any contact from management or any attempt to rectify our experience I was really hoping that this would end up being ‘our place’ to stay when we went through Medina; but this review isn’t looking good for thatDetails: Room for one night – two adults in spring 2022

I stayed here a few days over the weekend and at first all was great The breakfast was really good as well My last day that I was there the hot water didn’t work and I find it upsetting that the hotel didn’t even offer to compensate for the inconvenience

I had to leave out on my trip without a hot shower When I called to complain I was barely refunded a quarter of what I paid for the last night for the inconvenience Not saying this is not a good place to stay but don’t expect much in return if something goes wrong

Greg Garcia

No hot breakfast for the second day in a row We have 11 guys staying here working for the city We are only able to work thru the night and always look forward to a decent breakfast after long shifts

Here they have dropped the ball U can get a waffle, juice, or coffee Not much more than that This is discouraging considering this is a newer hotel We will be staying back at the Holiday Inn from now on

jason mckenna

I go there for some rest and sleep because of my disability they put me in a disability room next to the kitchen wake up 4 in the morning with pots and pan being thrown around on the wall into the sink waking me up no the night was horrible Spending $150 in this day and age is a lot of money just to get some sleep My wife thought it would be a good idea just get some quiet so I can get better and not even close with this hotel do not go there they slam the doors to all the night there was no consideration by anybody

The kitchen door was opening and closing throughout the night and it was just really bad experience There are better rooms the only one disability room next to the kitchen and they told me they had these issues before so why in the world would you put a disabled person next to the kitchen when they need the rest they need There was no note or sincerity when I said something to the people at the front desk some lady named Queen another guy I did not catch his name With a matter-of-fact attitude like yeah we’ve had complaints about that before and I said then why would you put somebody over there I do not know sir she replied I will be calling corporate office very soon it is 7:40 in the morning I’m back at home did he eat the breakfast didn’t drink the coffee I just left

I stayed at this hotel and I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the ladies there were very friendly, well groomed, and overall they seemed to love their job and take great pride in it! The room was amazing, spotless! I did my usual floor check with a wet towel and it was clean enough to eat off of, although I don’t recommend it but OMG the place was so beautifully decorated! The lobby was just as beautiful I didn’t find anything wrong except the dry muffins at breakfast Other than that it’s the perfect hotel!!

Cheryl Melle

A small hotel but CLEAN and staffed with friendly people willing to go the extra mile to meet requests The complimentary breakfast had a huge variety between hot and cold options, including sausage gravy and biscuits (delicious!) unexpected but very much appreciated I was not anticipating this kind of quality service and comfort for an economically priced hotel – happily surprised and didn’t spend a fortune

Shout out to Amber and Mychalene especially for their fantastic hospitality!

Jon Cooper

We recently went back to visit Akron, Ohio for a funeral and stayed at the Hampton Inn on Springside Drive The General Manager Jamie Baker was wonderful to work with and made our stay more enjoyable She truly went above and beyond and was very pleasant

Also, we liked the breakfast room, there were a lot of good food choices and it was very freshThank you Jamie for being such a professional and so accomodating!

I just drove 40 minutes to see this campground to make reservations for overnight and seasonal camping next year When I went into the office to ask permission to view the park and sites Bill behind the desk refused to let me enter

I have been camping for 50 years all over the US and have never been treated this way How can you rent something site unseen The sites must be pretty bad and are ashamed of park in general No where on the website does it state no visitors are allowed Don’t waste your time like my wife and I did to become future patrons of this trailer park

Jim Oliver

We have been staying at Pier lon for about 5 years, April thru Oct Camp gound is always clean and well kept It is close to Cleveland, ( about 40 minutes), and about 15 minutes to Medina

Yet is country like with nice woods and fields This is a Christian kind of camp ground with church services weekly and other activities A very quiet place Utilities have never been a problem Campers and staff have always been nice, pleasant, accomodating, and helpful to us We camp in a 44 foot 5th wheel

The room was great, shower was amazing hot water and great pressure Room was clean and comfortable The lady at the front desk, check in was kind and helpful

We stay at hotels that offer breakfast for a reason There was barely any food out and what was out was unappetizing No coffee!!! Come on-do better! Breakfast was a joke Bring back the waffle machine or toaster with bread or bagelsAt least make sure you have plenty of coffee!

Crystal Graham

Staff is very friendly Room was clean and rather spacious compared to what we have booked in the past with other hotels Will definitely save this hotel for future stays when in the area for business again

It is right next to the highway and you can hear it in the room but we still slept like babies none the less There are lots of restaurants to choose from as well

Do not stay in this hotel! Find somewhere else to go! Don’t be deceived it looks nice on the outside and around the common areas but that is where it stops Our room looked like someone destroyed it and they didn’t put anyone in there for months Spider webs were everywhere, I had to kill 5 spiders that were dangling from the ceiling

I went to put my little girls to bed on the pull out couch and it had the nastiest bed stains all over it The water pressure in the room was very low The king mattress in the master bedroom was stained (The only reason I saw this one was because the sheets were too small and pulled off in the night) After all of this the best thing we could get was 75 dollars off of 1 night and we stayed there for 2 Chester is the manager and obviously doesn’t care about his accountability for the cleanliness of the hotel or how the guests feel I went down to ask for towels since we were provided 2 for a 2 night stay, and I could only get 1 more because they didn’t have more washed! There are plenty of hotels in the area! Do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else!

Betsy Eggers

I booked two King Suite rooms for my family of 6 The hotel was clean and comfortable Every interaction we had with staff was positive, professional, and courteous

The pool was great! If we are in this area again we will once again choose this hotel We were there for two mornings, and both mornings the breakfast options were great with a few different changes in the hot items each day Thank you for a wonderful weekend stay!

Pankaj R

We stayed at this hotel for a few days in June, 2022 It looks like it has been through a remodel/renovation and most of hotel’s area looks modern and inviting The hot breakfast is what you would typically expect and the staff working the breakfast seemed energetic and friendly

However, I am not sure who designed the rooms We stayed in a studio suite ending in 20 It was during a warm spell and the AC had to run Unfortunately, it blasts straight on to the bed The vent is large and not flexible so there is no way to prevent the cold blast from hitting you directly The bathroom was nice but the shower door leaked water onto the floors Apparently, this seems to be an occurrence with at least a few roomsSo, while the hotel is nice, I’m not sure I would pick it again if we were in the area

No real complaints about this hotel I was surprised by the comfortable beds and how friendly the staff were The pool area and outside patio were exceptionally nice

Especially on summer nights The rooms were clean There is is the lack of housecleaning and blaming it on Covid and they will give you extra towels at the front desk The gym is something to be desired – the elliptical and bike made a horrible noise Leaving you only with the treadmill So there may be a waitOther than that it’s a nice facility

Amy DeKeyser

If you want a peaceful night’s sleep don’t stay here because the Bar and Restaurant next door will keep you up after midnight Even calling the front desk, they tell you it stops by11pm but it’s 11:50pm and it’s still too loud with a base The police department will tell you that the bar and restaurant may be exempt from the noise ordinance

and the music goes on til midnight Mold in the shower as wellFront desk claims they don’t have a room to switch us to on the other side of the hotel This is highly ridiculous!!!

Roy Murphy

Okay you say the water is city water that’s fine So I don’t know why the water smelled bad Go to that room and run the hot water in the sink And It will smell bad I feel my having to skip a shower my last night there because of the smelly water made my room not worth the high price I paid to stay there are all paying almost 200 dollars per night

This rate is not a cheap motel price and we should not have had this unusual problem but we’re did for sure even causing us to skip taking a shower out last night there in August 6 2022

Excellent hotel! Every hotel needs a Cece! She was amazing and turned my frown upside down when we checked in, considering we booked online in the wrong location by accident Everything was top notch here Our room was immaculate and well appointed

Tons of great restaurants withn a couple milessteak house, seafood, hibachi, etc Others left negative breakfast reviews but our experience was completely opposite The food was delicious, omelets, sausage, French toast sticks, waffles, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit and cereal not to mention juice, tea and great coffee We went down around 9:30 and the cook was just bringing out more eggs and food, making sure the guests had plenty to choose from Checkout was great, made even better by Cece and some great conversation to start our day and trip home Highly recommend staying at this location

Ms. G

My room had the potential to be great But, the bed was right next to someone else’s toileting so every time someone needed to use the bathroom it sounded like it was right next to my head and I heard all the water coming down Interrupted my sleep too

They need to fix thatBut overall it was a very nice hotel in a very good location

Rich Campbell

Hey! This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! First: the shower was covered in dog hair 🙂 then, I’m positive there was a bed bug in it (don’t worry, it was dead Second of all, there were FIVE wooden clothes hangers tucked UNDER the sheet of the bed we were supposed to sleep in Does this not sound desirable enough? Second of all, the amazing employees of this establishment left not only the used wet towel of the previous guests, but they also left the delicious-scented USED bar of soap from the previous guests in our room

Our room number was 318 and I would actually demand a full refund if I want staying at the Scary-Ott hotel Please, never visit Akron, Ohio, or any Marriott Hotel, for that matter

My family uses Hawthorn every time they come to stay for family events The staff is always very kind, friendly and thoughtful When ever there is a question they answer it quickly and without an attitude

The hotel is always clean and stocked The rooms are spacious and clean every time we have been there The indoor pool is well maintained and enjoyable for all my grandchildren! We will continue to use this hotel as an extension of our home!

Emily Quinn

Stayed here on my road trip from New York to Kansas City Room is extremely spacious and was clean Great black out curtains

Decent coffee Pool was open but I didn’t use it Only recommendation for improvement is to have fresh whole fruit at the breakfast buffet Right now they only have a packaged fruit cup Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel

Maria Estrada

We enjoyed our stay The staff was very polite and helped with everything I’m guessing due to COVID the pool was down which sucked considering we were looking forward to taking a quick dip after check in

I liked the check in at 3pm and check out is at 12pm, it was perfect for us considering where we were going opened at 1A couple of suggestions:1 Adding an extra garbage bag in the bottom of the trash cans2 Put a trash can in the bathroom3 Keep linens in the room for the sofa bed if more than 4 people are staying in the room4 Leave an extra roll of toilet paper

Stayed here twice within the last week Generally the hotel is decent However a couple things just to be aware of

First night Wi-Fi would not connect I asked the manager, he said he’d look at it It never got fixed till the morning by a different manager Second time we stayed, our bathroom had not been cleaned Soap and hair from the previous person and one towel left Was late so I didn’t ask till the morning Wife went down and asked if someone could clean it and they said they would look into it but no one ever came Breakfast was very limited compared to similar Hamptons Pretty disappointing for a Hilton Some managers are really nice and some could care less Probably won’t stay at this one again

Not impressed for the price point They have construction on going, no pool, no weight room but that did not effect our stay The room was overpriced in my opinion

The AC/Heater had no wall mounted thermostat, so I was half expecting Tom Bodett to jump out and turn the light on for us The water was not hot enough for a decent shower I did not stand in the shower and waste time, but it was barely luke warm bordering on cold by the 2 minute mark That did however wake me up Breakfast is always expected to be iffy, but the selection was sparce For over a buck fifty we expected a little more At least the waffles, maybe my expectations are too high The bed was firm and that is ok for some, and I am not dinging them for that When I requested an extra blanket from the front desk, the customer service worker looked at me like I had two heads I am fairly certain they were as shocked that I asked, as I was that they do not but give you one, when asked Hell, most of the hotels have them in the rooms either a closet or dresser drawer The room was clean, the staff was nice, and it was quite for the most part Again, the cost for what is offered is my main complaint
