I cannot say enough good things about this place I have no complaints The staff does an AMAZING job! The housekeeping staff takes the cake here

Soooo kind, professional, and thorough Breakfast options were plenty! Beds were comfy, pool area was clean and very well maintained I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for 5 star treatment with a balling on a budget lifestyle

Friedericke Wowerat (FredW414)

My room was clean and we had a decent night’s sleep I walked into the Hotel and the desk person was sitting in a chair I didn’t know that he was the desk person

While I checked in a woman asked for towels for the pool area and since the person was checking me in, he didn’t tend to her needs immediately She actually waited for awhile When I checked in he proceeded to put a $150 hold on my card for incidentals, because I prepaid through a third party I personally didn’t care for this because I checked in at approximately 5:15pm and checked out at 6am the next morning Still waiting for the charge to go back on my card SmhI never experienced this at other Country Inn and Suite locations even when I purchase through a third partyAs I was checking out at 6am there were family members in the lobby? It actually made me feel somewhat uncomfortable I probably won’t stay at this location again because I didn’t feel fully comfortable

We try to stay at IHG hotels as much as possible as we usually have good luck This particular one is clean, well kept, and in a good area The breakfast is good, also

However, the beds and pillows were horrible Also, I know they don’t want to upset guests, but they need to police the dress attire during breakfast time We counted 5 people who were roaming the area with no shoes or socks, which is disgusting I don’t expect people to get dressed up for breakfast, but if people show up to a buffet area wearing no shoes, they should be turned away Instead, the attendants were too worried about kids at the pancake machine to pay attention to common decency from the adult guests

We stayed for 9 days After a rocky start everything went swimmingly Our first room had issues, the window shade was inoperable

The toilet seat was falling off, safe wouldn’t work, and outlets in bathroom were out Stephanie at the front desk was amazing She bent over backwards to help us We had to wait another day but she placed us in a nice room In the mean time Maintenance did their best with the toilet and taped black plastic over the window Our second room was as expected IHG quality Again Stephanie continued with great service, making sure we had a wonderful vacation

Gene Bond

The room and place was great Breakfast was good My only concern is I had to check in very late

Like 2 am due to weather and many flight delays and car rental issues Just for the guy up front Dave, to tell hBe checking so late was not convenient for him he has to get things ready for the morning rush He told me there was no parking, which hello I parked and walked in He clearly did not want to be bothered He even tried to tell me they were full I told him I just booked it on line I had to call the corporate number and have call the front desk to get checked in If I had done had a day from hell traveling I would have just left Thanks a lot for the warm welcome Dave

Stayed at hotel for honeymoon and it was perfect Amazing food delivered to the room from the restaurant, all staff were friendly and accommodating Everything was clean and loved the suite, the tub is large enough even my 6’5” hubby was able to comfortably relax and bathe

The common area was luxurious so it was nice to have a quiet meal in the room one night and play cards with a local friend Definitely want to go back! The rooftop bar was amazing as well!!

Emilie Christensen

I have stayed at Omni Viking Lakes a few times, and there are a some things that keep me coming back The hotel is beautiful! The Nordic Viking theme is just perfect, with subtle and tasteful nods to the Purple&Gold Vikings who’s training facility is just next door This hotel is high end while still being inviting and comfortable

Side note: If you are a MN Vikings fan, you just might end up having a drink and some great conversation with a player or coach ;)The rooms and spaces are exceptionally clean and well appointed The staff- from the front desk to the restaurant, and bar staff- have all been so kind, professional, and welcomingTheir loyalty program is so thoughtful! Sometimes a glass of champagne at check in, complimentary wine/beer at the lounges or restaurants, or complimentary coffee from the in-house Caribou Coffee branded shop are always so appreciated I recently also booked services at the spa and it was truly a luxury experienceSo, with all of the hotels to choose from in the area, I’ll continue to come to Omni

Cassandra Krzebietke

This place is excellent My fiancé and I booked a regular room and were able to upgrade to a suite for half the price We had a huge bathtub and shower room

Very clean room, comfy bedThe food down at the restaurant is good too Only complaint I have is the fries were not all that great But my Korean Fried Chicken sandwich and his steak was so yummy! We had breakfast down at the little coffee shop (wasn’t great for the price…)We also got couples massages at the spa and were treated like royalty when we went in there You can use the spa all day if you book a serviceOverall, it was a nice and enjoyable experience We were sad to leave!

A young lady that works here needs to be re-TRAINED on how to deal with customer complaints OR maybe she needs to quit and find a different job NO customer service skills at all

In fairness, the hotel manager and other staff here are polite, friendly and excellent costumer serviceI am a platinum elite member with IHG but feels like I was trashed at that time I brought this up to their costumer service and I specifically requested to email me on what is their corrective actions I did not received any reply at all, so this shows how IHG gives importance to their costumersAnyways, I will never ever be staying at any IHG hotel in the future anymore When you are travelling, you need a good and relaxing stay, not stress

Devin Dotzenrod

Get to stay here for an auto body competition for college and upon first impressions as soon as you walk in the hotel is inviting they way its laid out, for me anyways lol the rooms are just as good They’re 2 queen rooms are nice a spacious all brand new everything TV is huge, huge bay window that gives a pleasing view, beds are soft as clouds and there’s ample amount of comfortable seating if you don’t want to be in the bed laying down

There’s also a lot of storage for clothing and there’s no sign of dust or dirt anywhereI’ve looked Cold air returns have no signs of any build of dust and same goes for heat/ac filter Most importantly the bed sheets feel like clean new bedding at home and you know they’re clean because they’re super bright white I’ll stay here againyessir I will

Jordan Harrison

We arrived at about 1:00 in the morning needing a room The front desk woman, who said she usually worked at the Best Western next door, was phenomenal She helped me use points I have accrued through business travel, was polite and friendly

Room was clean, breakfast was as expected for an HIE, location is good for getting around MSP Couldn’t find anything to complain about with the hotel, and can not say enough good about the clerk who was working that night

I really wanted to leave a 5 star review, but couldn’t The rooms are spacious and modern The breakfast is good

I can’t give it 5 stars because of the atrium noise Guests are to follow the quiet rules beginning at 9:00 There was a wedding reception that was still going strong at 11:00 The reception was in a ballroom/meeting room, but some of the the reception guests used the atrium They were loud Very loud If paying guests are to follow the quiet hours, then should reception guests

Rochelle Burger

The bathrooms are small, mildew on the ceiling in the shower Needs an update and added ventilation to it The deck door froze over and once it warmed up it melted to the bottom

No drainage holes The living area is nice and roomy Had a room with two queen beds Did not use the pool, no sitting area (table/chairs) The attached restaurant has really good food, will definitely return for that

Alan Duck

Had an incredible experience at the Embassy during a recent post-Covid work trip The hotel made hospitality feel like the good old days Front desk was very swift and attentive

However, the bar was set in the restaurant this trip Shannon the manager had a stacked house and her staff ran the place like pros Shannon cultivated a connection with many guests, despite how busy they were Azure, a new waitress, was equally exceptional Service was fast and my entire Corporate team will now know this is the place to stay on our next visit Highly recommended

**Updated my star rating due to the fact that I received a response about the maintenance of the pool That was my mistake for assuming the weren’t checking Like I said, the staff was nothing short of amazing

I may give them another try if we’re in the area**The staff was amazing and kind!! The room itself was ok Cracks along AC/heat unit, missing electricity plate, shower tub was grimey, shower head was leaking and sprayed water out of the shower unless you turned the shower head a certain way, and found a baby spider crawling on the bed Thin walls/door, you can pretty much hear everything I felt like the swimming pool hasn’t been treated and with an all girls softball team there all weekend and them using the pool often, I would think they would check One small elevator for the entire hotel, which took forever Breakfast was decent, but can’t really complain since it’s free Parking wasn’t too bad Location was ideal but I would definitely check out other hotels in the area after this stay

What a wonderful stay at this hotel!!! The staff is amazing! Moona (and I think her name was Ellie) at the front desk went out of their way to make our daughter’s birthday an extra special experience Our stay was also incredible and we all slept so, so well! Here are my pros and cons for this hotelPros:- The staff 100%- beds are super comfy! They are a medium firm

We all slept so, so well!- We had a queen suite and it was very spacious with lots of room for our family of 5 to spread out/get ready in the morning- The breakfast is yummy!! We love how Springhill has the sugared waffles They are our favorite!! They also have hot protein items like sausage, eggs and bacon and they keep them well stocked-It was super duper quiet even though it appears the hotel was pretty full/busyat least from the parking lot and the main lobby area-Parking is easy- The shower is awesome! Lots of water pressure and the massage feature is wonderfulCons:- the building is older (if you consider that a con) There are stains on the carpets in the hallways Our room appears to be updated however- Our room had a bit of a perfumy smell when we first came in I was worried it would cause my asthma to flair, but I didn’t have any problems thankfullyWe would 100% stay here again if we return to the area in the future!

Unfortunately our stay here wasn’t as pleasant as I wished When my family arrived in our room, the smell of synthetic scent spray was overpowering When we went into the bathroom there was a pungent smell of cigarette smoke as well as a subtle smell of it in our bedroom

The vent in the bathroom wasn’t working to try to dispel some of the smell It was obvious house keeping sprayed ton of scent spray to attempt to mask the smell We tried to see if there was another one bedroom option, but told us there were none available They also offered to spray the room again or carpet clean, but I didn’t want the risk of my toddler inhaling even more of those strong chemicals on top of the strong scent spray and smoke residue that already lingered in the room Also, not to mention there was barely enough toilet paper to last for our 3 night stayAnother issue was that our room was right next to the door to the stairwell which was extremely loud It woke me up several times throughout the night and early morning from people constantly opening and closing that door In fact, I just heard it a handful of times while writing this reviewHonestly, I have had a better stay at a Motel 6 than at this Residence Inn location

April Tucker

Wish we had found this place on all our trips The rooms are so big!! There was a full size fridge, island with chairs for eating, a desk, huge countertop for storage and big bathroom All the countertops were beautiful quartz, the shower was white tiled, guys

We will look for one of these on our weeklong vacation because we personally trust hotels more than Airbnb due to some bad experiences and this gives us the option to stock up food for lunch/dinner to help save some money on vacations Full kitchen with cooking supplies and free breakfast What a 10! We only stayed one night but it was a total win in our books! Consider staying here if you’re traveling through the Twin Cities or if you don’t mind staying a touch outside the cities for a vacay there Cheers! April

We had a great time The kids loved the water park We all loved the bowling

My granddaughter enjoyed all the dance parties They also did the ropes course and the rock Climbing It’s very expensive though If you don’t mind spending the money you’ll definitely have a good The room was nice but the a/c was very loud The breakfast buffet was very good and reasonable

Bella Linda

So much fun here!!! I highly recommend this resort Family friendly!!! I’ve gone to family resorts and the people working aren’t family friendly This resort definitely provided great customer service

The water park is so much fun! Our day passed by so fastI saw some reviews and I was slightly nervous, but I have to say this place was wonderful!

Jordan P.

We went up to the hotel for a midweek getaway and everything worked out nicely We were easily able to check in Our room was ready to go and clean

A couple knocks I have with the rooms are that there are no freezers in the fridges and the window shades get pretty bright when that summer sunrise rolls in early Breakfast is not included but if you fit the bill, it’s a nice buffet to start the day The water park was a lot of fun with very good lifeguards Because it was the middle of the week, it didn’t seem too packed in regards to people Everything in the pool seemed clean Overall, it was a fun stay and I would recommend it to others!

I would not recommend this place The pictures posted by the business make it look a lot nicer than it is The pool looks really nice in the pics, but once you arrive it is a lot smaller and quite dated

We arrived to find dirty wash rags in our room, as well as only 2 sets of towels, even though we had marked 4 people to stay We also paid for “breakfast” which we were told the next morning they did not offer, to later find out when checking out two days later that they do have a small boxed breakfast not what you would think of for a hotel breakfast thoughAll of the garbages were full on the property, they were out of coffee each morning we went up there I also felt bad for the front desk guy as he was opening the pool, stocking the towels, filling the coffee, answering phones, checking in people Seems they need to have the maids doing some of thatAlso, the prices for their snack bar were excessive $2 for a 1oz bag of chips ?! The prices at Hilton or other nicer places are better than thatOverall not a great experience, needs a refresh in parts of the hotel, more cleaning/service, and better snack bar pricing

Risba Smith

Upon arriving, we were there 15 min early than our check in The counter employee said the rooms would be ready for an hour or so There wasn’t any manager to talk to

As we waited with 5 others to get a room There was another employee that started work A woman and her kid checked in and got a room, but our weren’t ready!! Went back to the desk and said something and he just up graded my room at no charge Gave us a 10% off to the adjoining restaurant Come to find out it doesn’t open til 11, so there’s no breakfast for checking out Now that was great until I seen make-up on the pillow cases and went to cut the air on and there was a hole that you can see the outside Satins on the curtains fly in the room probably from hole Never stay there again and won’t recommend them!! Hotel has gone down need a face lift and upgrade!!

The Creative Bite

The pool was the reason we booked this hotel and it was a tiny cesspool I am not very picky when it comes to cleanliness, but this hotel had me grossed out The very small pool had clumps of hair floating in it, the bottom was covered in sand and in the shallow 3 foot deep sections, my kids could barely see their diving toys on the bottom it was so murky

The kids had already gotten in the pool before I realized how gross it was, so I let them swimI called the front desk the next morning to see if they had any plans to clean it and she assured me they cleaned it every morning LIES! The next evening we went back to check it out but it was still so gross I wouldn’t let the kids get back in The sand was piled in the same spots on the bottom and it was still murky No staff had touched that poolThe rest of the hotel was also just run down and grimy As we walked in, the ceiling was crumbling into buckets on the floor from water damage When we walked in our room the first time there was a dirty women’s headband filled with hair on the floor, meaning the room was likely never vacuumedThe pros: It was relatively cheap and the AC worked I did a bedbug check and didn’t find any I have never done that at a hotel, but this hotel warranted it

Love the size and layout of the room So many lights and outlets for devices First time I’ve been in a hotel with a dishwasher, and dishes!Full fridge, microwave and lots of open spaces! Really appreciate the curtain that can be pulled to separate the “living room” and the beds! Love, love, love the desk with a roll out dining table, great use of space and function! I’m going to have to find more locations of this hotel for future stays, really like it a lot!

Do not stay at this hotel! Disappointing overnight stay two weeks ago Stayed at this hotel one time in 2021 and loved it, but things have changed and we do not plan to returnOur room was disappointing

It was very apparent that surfaces of doors and some walls had not been wiped down in a long time The pocket doors for the bathroom were very heavy and difficult to slide and close completelyOur biggest issue was the noise level on our floor Several rooms were occupied with large families with multiple young children Even though the rooms were a distance away from us, we could hear kids screaming and talking very loudly despite their room door and our room door being shut And these children were repeatedly allowed to slam room doors and run screaming up and down the long hallway This running went on for 10-15 minutes periodically We called the front desk to complain multiple times but the disruption continued When we left our room for dinner we noted a long line of stepped-on Cheetos all down the hallway When we returned to our room much later that night, the mess was still there Apparently no staff were walking the floors and tidying up as needed It gave the hotel a “trashy” feelOur second issue was the fact staff allowed guests to walk around the lobby area barefoot or in stocking feet We noticed this during the breakfast buffet And some of the attire of both adults and children was questionableWe did not feel satisfied at all with our stay We have stayed in multiple Home2Suites as we travel cross-country and have never had such a disappointing stay We will continue to book rooms with this hotel brand but will never return to this one!

Emily Guerber

Pros:1 Nice sized rooms2 Good blackout curtains3

Pretty good continental breakfastCons1 Room wasn’t clean (hair in the shower, something splattered all over the curtains, air vents blowing out dust)2 Lots of dogs staying there It is a pet friendly hotel, but every time we left our room we encountered 2+ dogs with varying level of behavior, some that were obviously not very well leash trained3 You park in the Cedar Grove ramp, and there’s only one entrance to the that is anywhere close to the parkingFor the price probably won’t stay here again

Customer service was exceptional I tried to get the women’s name that helped us check in and couldn’t get it But she was wonderful and made my daughters birthday stay feel very special

So awesomeThe room was beautiful, unique and very cleanWe loved the hotel was connected to the mall We never had to leave that was super coolOne thing that I thought was the pool was supposed to be salt water but we smelled a lot like chlorine Not a big deal the pool was also fun and loved the tables we got to have dinnerWe will absolutely be back!

Mark Drury

Hotel is very nice Radisson needs to focus on building more ‘Blu’ hotels in the USA Staff was extremely friendly, great shuttle service to and from the airport and local businesses

It’s attached to the Mall so easy access to shopping The on-site bar was excellentThe rooms were very nice but the walls were very thin; could hear doors closing down the hall and the loud TV from the next room over Overall a good stay

Denise Morgan

We came with our son for spring break The lobby is so cool and comfy The rooms were fun and funky

The bed was a little firm for me but the pillows were perfect Note that the room service menu is on the TV along with other information We kept looking for a book The in- house restaurant, Firehouse Grill is so yummy I loved that the hotel was attached to the Mall of America, it was so convenient My only complaints are that there are not many channels to watch on TV, unless you want to pay for on demand, so we just streamed from our phone The main chair in our room was stained with ink, a drink of some sort, and full of dirt The rest of the room was very clean though and we spent most of our time exploring so not a big deal The shower was a rain head with a hand attachment as well Heaven! The pool is nice but not very big It fills up fast and there is also no hot tub Room service was awesome Would definitely come again I wish I took better pics

This has been one of our favorite places to stay while traveling! All the employees were friendly and greeted us every day A lot of options for breakfast No microwaves in the rooms but had two that guests could use in the breakfast area

They had bags of chips, pop, candy and different freezer meal options available for purchase by the front desk also The pool was an alright size, it went to 45ft that my son likes but my daughter likes when it gets a little deeper They had multiple tables and chairs which I like and big patio couch for bigger families Our room was nice size and perfect for myself and two younger aged kids If we come back up to the area again for an event my kids have already said they want to go to this one again even if it’s not the same hotel as others in our group

This hotel was a great location It was within walking distance of great places to eat and drink The staff was amazing

We had adjoining rooms Upon arrival we found that one of the rooms had not been cleaned The hotel was totally booked but the manager got it cleaned while we went to dinner He then voluntarily comped the room without my asking Based on the way we were treated by everyone at this hotel, we’ll stay here anytime we are in this area visiting family in the future!

This is a great hotel to take the family The room was very clean and so were the sheets The pool was nice sized but water was cold

Not a big a deal breakfast had a lot of options, also good for the kids and plus there was a snack section you could purchase The only thing was there wasn’t shampoo and normally I don’t care because I bring my own but this time I didn’t The manager was apologetic and I don’t blame him that there wasn’t any the night of our stay Restaurant across the street and ordering pickup was faster and had a large kids meal Very tasty

Beautiful hotel! We only stayed 1 night but we will definitely be back!Rooms were super nice!We did the pick up breakfast as the restaurant or the room service is only open certain times and we missed it With covid room service I believe is not an optionLoved the free parking and the shuttle to the mall!Staff was super friendly!

Arnold Heney

No television remote in the room the first night but the front desk staff handled it quickly the next morning My wife asked for more coffee cups the second night but they were never delivered Club access was available however the espresso machine did not operate, and the meals were available thru a voucher downstairs in the market

Pool was small but nice we were hoping for a hot tub to relax in after spending the day at Mall of America We were happy with the proximity to the mall

Nice digs for an airport stopover Right on the train line so don’t even worry about taking a shuttle, and technically you could just take the train into the city and not need a car at allSeems fairly new

A bit noisy in the hallways from guest room doors opening and closingCould use a bigger lobbyRooms felt modern and typical of a Hyatt Regency

Very friendly staff especially one of the ladies at front desk, wish I’d caught her nameOur room was super clean and fully equipped kitchenette! There was a very nice continental breakfast spread in the morning (with fresh fruits) We were able to walk from here to Mall of America pretty easily

There’s a really nice gym here which I took full advantage of and basically got to use all to myself since there was nobody in there 2 of the 3 times I went to use! 😀

Rooms are very noisy I stay in hotel rooms 10 to 15 nights per month for work and these are some of the thinnest walls and floors I’ve ever experienced I could clearly hear people conversing in the adjacent room and every step people took in the room above

Another negative is the slow and unreliable WiFiOther than that it is a nice, clean property with friendly staff, but if your primary goal is a quiet night of sleep it probably isn’t the best choice

Brad Beggs

Nice, newer hotel across the street from MOA and a five-minute drive or 15-minute light-rail trip to the airport Parking is freeRooms include a small kitchen with a real stove and oven

The pool is nice, there are a couple of outdoor seating areas, and breakfast offers a nice variety of warm options like sandwiches, omelets, waffles, and oatmealIt is very well kept and managed, with excellent checkin service from Jon

It’s not very often I leave a less than five star review after staying at a Fairfield But the cleanliness of the rooms has to be way better here It’s unacceptable to find trash and large pieces of snacks from the previous guests on the ground next to the bed

Aside from sanitation, this is a great hotel if you’re from out of town Free airport shuttle is convenient (but the website does state it has limited operating hours), and they also have a free shuttle across the street to the Mall of America The complimentary breakfast is alright, though not as good as at other Fairfield branded hotels It’ll do the job, just don’t be surprised if you find yourself in an unclean room

Moose Riddle

Stayed here for a week on businessThis location is much better run than the previous Fairfield Inns I’ve stayed in Friendly and engaging staff

Room was fine except for the burned out light bulbs that were quickly replaced and the lack of any type of mini fridge to put medication that needs to be kept cold That was also quickly dealt with by hotel staffBathroom was passable and could use an update as could the lighting in the hallwaysBathroom was OK Had a problem with the shower water pressure changing while I was showering each morning-but it was tolerableBreakfast offered plenty of hot and cold food options with a good selections of juicesOne suggestion: why not not put all of the pet owners on one floor?

Todd Ash

The rooms were clean, the staff were very nice, and made you feel important and welcomedI give 3 stars because it felt like we got “the” room Top floor next to the elevator

The room was hot, the air conditioner was not able to keep up The mattress was very uncomfortable There was about an inch and a half gap on the bottom of the door It makes you feel like you have less privacy when you can see people’s feet walking past the door

Really nice hotel and really a bang for your buck! Up to date rooms, great bathrooms, comfy beds, hard wood floors, bartender Matt is great and welcoming! Same with front desk staff… things lacking lightening in the room is awful (like playing Russian roulette with your make up), food menu is very small (understandable due to covid) but good pizza, and the closet space is bad

Really, there isn’t a closet or drawers Other than those small things that really aren’t a big deal, this place is great Totally would recommend

Jeanniejo Traveling

Arrived at airport at 12:30 am called the hotel to find out if there shuttle is still running was surprised they said he would come get us and be there in 5 minutes Checked in and the beds there are so comfortable We were so tired are flights were delayed it was a long day and this hotel made our end of night perfect

I slept so well in the comfortable mattress In the morning I was able to connect Bluetooth to the mirror in the bathroom and listen to music while taking a shower Excellent motel

This hotel was hands down phenomenal from the moment you walk through the doors The front desk/concierge’s customer service is unmatched and if you watch how they collaborate to help one other out, they give you what teamwork looks likeOur suite was beautiful, the living room decor in our room was lovely, the linens were clean, our bedroom and view were nice as well

The breakfast was delicious and the staff preparing it were graciously attentive and friendly with everyoneThis hotel has swimming pools and jacuzzis, the Mall of America is walking distance, they do have a shuttle service and if you need snacks late at night they have a mini mart of snacks and drinks you can buy If you’re looking to book this hotel This is your sign

Jacqueline Bonfield

Fantastic service Manager of the hotel was able to have all of our family in a suite together and went above and beyond to make this happen That goes for everyone else who works here from staff in the restaurant to front desk and room service

Has two swimming pools and although we didn’t use these during our stay, could see they were very popular Hotel is right on top of Mall of America with easy access to the shops and amusement parks Added bonus is its just a few minutes from the airport by car
