Staff was fantastic all if them

Room service Receptionist Even the lady that makes a pretty decent included breakfast the room was clean big The shower trickles if you put it on massage the water dosent even hit the back wall About the only complaint My coworker said he complained to the front desk and they changed his room His second room was better but the same water issues

Romario Pedraza

Room was a 35 was clean but little details inside like not very well swept or the bathroom had some corners that needed a little look at Didn’t take pics but it was a place to stay for the night

A 45 on the breakfast they had sausage and eggs and biscuits and gravey The front desk guy was okay but I guess it was his last minutes of work so he was done I didn’t let that bother me he got me my room and key so I was happy Great place to just stay sleep and go

I stayed at this location weeks ago, but I have been too busy in my travels to have left a review sooner My stay at this Desoto Comfort Suites was good The breakfast was okay with a decent variety

I was a really late check in, but I was very pleased with the front desk check in person Joe was a really nice person to greet me with a pleasant and warm welcome Check in was no problem He has outstanding customer service 👏!! His sense of humor was refreshing considering it was late at night His professionalism extended into the early morning when myself and other guests came down for breakfast Unfortunately, when checking out later that day, the front desk service was disappointing It was a female I believe her name was Vett She seemed disengaged and unprofessional This is not good for guests to experience in the morning or anytime of the day We spend our money for comfort and great service all throughout the stay I’ve stayed at many Comfort Suites and Choice hotels, but this location may make me reconsider because the service was inconsistent Joe really made the difference, and I can really appreciate a positive attitude from professionals Please do better and talk with your morning and evening front desk staff I shouldn’t have to go to certain locations for Choice hotels to receive excellent customer service 🙄 😒

This was a pleasant stay serving a great purpose! The breakfast attendant was phenomenal! I wish we could remember her name, she was so sweet and kind to our family Check-in was smooth and seemless, the Business Center was convenient, and the snack shop a treat! A big thanks to housekeeping for keeping the clean bath linens coming! It was a stark contrast to the young lady who worked the nights of our stay, who seemed irritated that guests would have a requestWe did encounter a slight problem with room keys, the electronic key on the App would nullify the physical key cards

The desk agent seemed to be annoyed with the request to reactivate the physical cardsThankfully, her disposition did not have a lasting effect on our overall stayThank you for accommodating the needs of so many of the 5,000 extras for the recreation of one of the greatest miracles in history! Be sure to get The Chosen App to catch up on seasons 1 & 2 before season 3 comes out later this year!May God bless and keep you all!

The staff blew me away We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly, and traveled with our 2 year old “puppy” for the first time He was incredibly anxious and couldn’t settle

My husband and I were so concerned he was keeping other guests awake, we stayed up trying to soothe him We ended up checking out early because we felt so bad for our dog and the noise he was causing potentially disrupting other guests We expected to pay our bill in full Also, it turns out I failed to notify the hotel that a pet was with us Jess, from the front was so understanding and caring We left in such a hurry we left items behind, and they were wrapped in a garment bag and waiting for us at the front The customer service was outstanding and we will choose to stay at this hotel every time we visit family, without our puppy

Cora Page

Was greeted by Priscilla upon arrival Acknowledged when I left and welcomed back when I returnedElizabeth in breakfast was friendly and took the time to talk to everyone in the breakfast area

We visit once a year and it’s good to return to a friendly staff

Horrible Service at the front desk The attendant was upset because I used bookingcom /hotels

com to book my room at a cheaper rate and refused to honor my reservation even though they had rooms available They basically wanted me double pay to forfiet my payment thru the booking site and pay them directly at a rate that was 5000 higher

We were not familiar with the area and looking for a place to stay since my dad was at the VA hospital in Dallas on Lancaster and we live too far to make the drive each day in the traffic This was the closest place with a name we trusted A two-night stay for my mom and I ended up being 4 nights and each day we were unsure when my dad would be released from the hospital

Abby at the front desk was more than accommodating and understanding to our situation and saved the same room for us each night and I would call her when I knew whether or not we needed it The evening and weekend staff, Sandy and Fatima, were always well-informed when we arrived in the evening and I did not have to explain everything again Having the same room was also comforting since my elderly mom loved the handrails in the bathtub (I selected an accessible room for her) They were so kind and accommodating and told us where the washer was since we did not bring enough clothes and gave us complimentary soap! The ladies in the breakfast area were also incredibly nice and pleasant, especially Silvia who started to recognize us and knew my mom was sad and brought us a little Grab and Go bag to take to the hospital and even gave my mom a hug! It was more than a hotel stay These people really cared about us and our situation and made it a home away from home! The hotel was clean, the beds were super soft and comfy, the tv was easy to manage Thank you to everyone! I couldn’t be more grateful!

Mark Suggs

Unfortunately my truck broke down and I had to put it in the shop The hotel provided a shuttle to pick me up from the Freightliner place and carry me to the hotel The repair took longer than expected so I had to extend my stay

Jessie, the hotel manager was so helpful in doing so and also keeping the same room rate He was so helpful and friendly In fact the entire staff were very friendly and helpful The housekeeping staff were super nice making sure I had everything I needed The room was immaculate and very nice!! Spacious and decorated nicely The entire hotel was very well kept up, clean and taken care of Very quite and nice stay The continental breakfast was very good The food was very good and plentiful Sylvia, the main attendant, was super nice She not only kept the food and coffee stocked, but while she was cleaning tables, she went from table to table checking if everyone was satisfied and if anyone needed anything She had a great personality and very friendly as well I wish more hotels were like this place Very nice!! Thank you Holiday Inn Express, but most importantly, thank you Jessie for you and entire staff for making my stay so nice and comfortable!! Awesome

JMac mjjjm7

The location was pretty good Rooms need updated, clean furniture The older lady at the front desk seemed to have a problem with us up until she was able to find our reservation

She changed her tone after she saw we were Choice members and that we were military I don’t want to assume what she thought about us but we won’t be coming back

Raven Kaaz

Hi,I am currently staying here now and I typically do not review every place I stay but I feel like Jennifer deserves some recognition! I read the previous reviews about her and I did not experience anything remotely negative or rude about her! She was attentive, personable and polite from check in to my check out She experienced a high call volume when I was checking in, she was profusely saying sorry to me and telling callers to politely wait on hold as she “wants to give every guest her full attention” (:I met with her again because my 4 year old was being a little rowdy/stomping around leading to a noise complaint She came upstairs to our room to tell us of the issue and was very understanding because my son is young and obviously was not doing it on purpose

I really feel like she is doing the best she can with being the only person i saw working the front desk and catering to guests needs at the hotel These five stars I am leaving go to her! Thanks for the stay!!-The Kaaz Family (:

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in Was outdated and not clean I booked with receptionist and she was extremely rude

I asked to be move to different room because the first one felt like I was sleeping in a dog kennel because that is exactly what it smells like Curtains were very dirty and extremely dirty furniture Second room was better but there were ants in the bathroom and on some of the counters I stayed 3 nights over the weekend so I paid more than they should ever charge for this hotel Very disappointed!

This hotel was clean, the service was great, front desk clerk was real sweet, the breakfast was good The only thing that made this a horrible experience was my boyfriends truck window being smashed to pieces and the console torn off as if someone was trying to Hotwire and steal it This hotel has no cameras in their parking lot

I’ve learned that the hotel next door does not either as they had an incident just last week They have signs stating they are not responsible for stolen items or vehicle damage So those signs are basically telling the thieves to go ahead and give it a try So unless you want to risk paying out of pocket for new car parts or windows, I wouldn’t stay at any of the hotels in this vicinity since they are now a common target for thieves

Mister Qualls

It’s a fairly nice hotel to stay at with several accommodating things, and some that just not to my likingFirstly yes the staff has been polite and pleasant to me during my trip, the complimentary breakfast has been wonderful, the gym was lacking but good enough to break a sweat, it has a pool that is open, and lastly they have an amazing showerThe one thing that bugs me, and I mean really grinds my gears is that they have a guest laundry room on site that is coin operated

It may not seem like much, but when staying on the road for work it is the most important thing to be able to do laundry as a complimentary feature

Check in was great, I got upgraded to a suite because of a shortage of rooms There was a beautiful shade to block light in the window with a nature scene The shower glass was immaculately clean, no spots or streaks

Room coffee pot was clean and looked pretty new Continental breakfast was a good variety of sweet and savory Different types of bread, fruit, a few varieties of oatmeal, hot coffee, juice, waffles, omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and turkey bacon Room was clean and smart TVs were awesome I accidentally left something important behind, and they kept it for me until I returned to pick it up

Samantha Mack

The room that was reserved for us was supposed to have two beds Instead we received one bed and a pull out couch The nighttime clerk refused to take his shades off while speaking to my mother, at 1 am, and indoors

He then claimed he “wasn’t allowed to do a military discount on weekends”, then swiftly switched to “I’m new and I don’t know how to do it” then transitioned to “only managers are allowed to give a military discount” He also was not in a uniform, or professional attire There was conveniently no manager there at that time or during check out

Jorge I Clavell

Normally I stay in Marriott hotel and normally I give 5 stars On this one the location is great and the front desk was very helpful, but the smell in the rooms were weird and you can heard every steps of the people above you I was very hard to sleep plus some sound of vehicles on the street

I guess that’s why is a little bit cheaper than other Marriotts

The room was decently clean except for a couple hairs in the shower and some old false lashes on the ground The room was quiet The microwave was all in french which was odd

The staff were moderately nice (1 was, 1 wasn’t) All in all not worth $100 a night but if you need something in a pinch it’s pretty decent compared to others in the area

Queen Esther

This was supposed to be a great family vacation, but we ran into sooooo many problems as it pertained to the cleanliness of our rooms!!!! Cleanliness is at the top of our list, when staying in a hotel We called down to the front desk at least 10 or more times Rooms were not clean, only 2 hangers in the closet, the iron stopped working on day 1, big beautiful television not working, in a 5 day stay our room was only cleaned once

I had to request it 3 times before it happened The rooms are very small Not a good hotel for a family vacation The only bright spot of our stay was the manager, Clint He was very kind but his cleaning staff left something to be desired I saw them on our floor everyday, but I had to empty my own trash everyday, that’s just unacceptable When on vacation, who wants to buy cleaning products and clean your room everyday??? Our next visit to Dallas, we will definitely have to stay at a different hotel

Christina Fisher

I don’t typically write reviews but I have to give credit where it is due After a long drive, we were greeted by Christina with the warmest welcome She helped us to get acclimated and balanced all the demands from other customers with such grace and finesse

It felt good to be genuinely welcomed and given the details about the surrounding area to make the most of our trip She is a true gem

The front desk staff was extremely accommodating and the continental breakfast was top notch I have stayed at many hotels that run out of food, but the two servers guaranteed that items available remained in supply Of adage, if equipment exists, it should operate optimally

And the whirlpool was out of service and elevator was functional with issues Overall, a great hotel within close proximity to freeway access, restaurants and shopping

My overall experience was not good I used online reservations to book my room The Reservation Specialist quoted me the online price of $99

00 plus taxes This is the price I saw online To make sure I even repeated the price quoted I stayed at a Comfort Suites in McKinney, Texas and we had an Affordable and Memorable stay After the Reservation Specialist received my credit card information WOW did things take a bad turn The price charged to my credit card for a one night stay was $14700 I asked how did a $9900 rate turn into the price charged? The representative started speaking so fast I could not understand what was being said The person was reading from the company script I interrupted the Rep and advised that was not the price quoted to me at the beginning of our conversation I was told by the Rep ” I told you it was $9900 and 22% You Can Sue Me If You Like” What a terrible way to run a business! However that was not said until my card was charged The Rep lowered the rate to $13200 The cancellation cost would have been almost the cost of the room so I accepted the price This is another cautionary tale This is for your own edification, Beware! The picture is of the food I prepared

My family and I stayed at the Comfort Inn on US Hwy 67 in Cedar Hill, TX for two nights I chose this location because it was just a few miles from the church where we would be attending the funeral of my ex-wife My daughter wanted me to stay at a Wyndham property with her and use her points, but it was further away and I prefer Choice since I have been a member since the 90’s

The hotel looked really nice from the outside and has nice curb appeal However, the inside had a dank/musty smell They advertised a hot breakfast when I booked, but it turned out to be a very lame grab-n-go They didn’t even have any toast or bagels which is pretty much standard even as a cheap Continental breakfast offering We had two rooms My room had two queen beds and was designed to sleep four It had a fridge, microwave, coffee setup and other nice amenities However, I was surprised that for a room designed for four it only had two very small drawers It was only two of us the room, but we still had to leave half our clothes in our suitcases I don’t know what four people would do on a stay over a few daysdefinitely would literally be living out of your suitcase I guess My bed was very comfortable to me, but my brother and his wife who were staying in another room said the king size bed was hard and uncomfortablethey were first time Choice guests, so I doubt they will ever stay in one again after this experience For me as a road warrior I could overlook everything up to this point because all I require is a clean comfortable room that is safe However, when we got back to the room after a very exhausting and emotionally draining funeral day at about 2amTHERE WAS NOT ANY HOT WATER When we checked out at 11am there was still NOT any hot water I have stayed in hotels all over the world and in numerous ones in backwards third world countries and while having to deal with low/inconsistent pressure they always had at least luke warm water We should have stayed at the Wyndham property with my daughter She definitely rubbed it in when she heard about the hot water and lame breakfast while her and her husband had a full hot breakfast

Whitney Blumenberg

2 stars because the front desk ladies were friendly and accommodating The location was excellent for is The manager did listen after I finally got in touch with her

I won’t go into major details (since I wrote reviews on their website, and Im over it) but the place has bugs Roaches scurry across the floor and ants in the nightstand They did switch me rooms/floors right away and no longer saw the roaches I’m leaving this review because this is something I’d definitely want to know when reading reviews

We had 4 rooms for a family trip

3 had issues like no hot water and no air conditioning The maintenance person didn’t work on weekends so he wouldn’t be able to look at the water (they did jiggle some wires and make the AC work) because evidently a place open 24/7 only needs maintenance during weekdays The air conditioning in the lobby was also broken Texas during the summer makes that very pleasant They were out of wash clothes I”m not even sure how that happens at a hotel And watch your bill There is a $795 per night administration fee to pay for “their additional covid protocols” Which is the lamest excuse I’ve ever heard especially when there is ZERO evidence of that fee being used in the facility They claim it’s on the page where you sign in but none of us saw it and no one thought it was important to tell us there would be an additional charge “Your card is just for incidentals” Right and this small fee that I”m not going to actually say out loud to you, I’m just going to put it on your card By the way our troubles were just ours since we hadn’t booked through them there was “nothing they could do” Just beware Never had issues at a Holiday Inn until this one They all seemed overwhelmed and the hotel needs work and apparently staff There were several events in the area that weekend so choices were limited at best We will make a different choice next time

Everything you hope for in a hotel Clean parking lot, fresh interior and nice lobby Clean everywhere

Rooms are great, bathroom very modern, all the amenities you need like 3 different USB spots in the room Fridge/microwave etc you can take your shoes off and relax in this one I wish I could say that about every hotel I stay in I always book with a business account and this is why I try to stick with Holiday INN

Angela Anderson

The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful! The cleaning staff is awful! The rooms are horribly dirty

stained sheets, dirty hair-strewn floors, roaches, disgusting microwave and dirty moldy windowsThey really need to fire their cleaning crew and find some people that know how to do some basic cleaningIt truly is a run-down hotel with little to no air conditioning in the hallways and lobby If you have asthma, don’t even step foot in this placeDo yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay Not sure how his place gets any positive reviews We ended up leaving first thing in the morning and canceled our second night

I think the construction was rushed The rooms are lacking in sensible design decisions The bathroom doesn’t have hanging rods, bars nor hooks for towels or robes

The king suite has 2 TV areas less than 6 feet apart with no division There are soft cushioned seats for dining that have become stained and damaged while guests eat downstairs, the pool is very small compared to other La Quinta locations Breakfast offerings were limited compared to other La Quinta locations but it’s included The room was clean but the bathroom floor needed to be mopped well The shower sliding door was off track The water system on the toilet made the flushing process, a problem Front desk staff was awesome Even the little market was too expensive 1 packet of microwave popcorn was $3 , but Walmart is less than half a mile away

Hmm how can I start…so my boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 days The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful She did tell us that it will be a $50 hold which was no issue

Once we got into the room it was nice but the tub had a really brown/orange stain but we just cleaned the tub and shrugged it off Unfortunately, the heater in our room wasn’t working so we basically was freezing the whole stay! It was also freezing in the hallways so I’m not sure if something was wrong with their heat They’re breakfast was okay …it wasn’t much Once we check out we say our byes A week later I hadn’t received the $50 hold so I call them and I spoke to someone and was told that the reason being was because I was smoking in my room So I kinda get mad and ask her what does she mean because we don’t smoke She proceeds to say that the housekeeper was the one who reported it so I’m just like okay so where the proof because WE DONT SMOKE! The lady then says (with an attitude) well we usually charge $200 for smoking but we only charged you for $50 so I’m just like THAT DONT SOUND RIGHT! If I was smoking you would charge me a smoking fee correct? She then states that I can call the manager and talk to him about it Honestly this whole thing sounds like COMPLETE BS! I DONT recommend anyone staying here For this to be a fairly new hotel it has poor customer service and there are a lot of things that still need fixing I only gave it 2 stars because the room was nice

Hugh Hays

The handicap room is huge Lots of space for wheelchair and equipment One major concern is the height of the bed

It could easily be lowered by 4-5 inches by taking the legs off and sitting the box and mattress on the floor Present mattress height is 28 inches Lifting a handicap person that high onto a mattress can be dangerous, especially if they cannot walk or stand or they are overweight The commode does not seem to be as tall as the handicap commode in our home The other thing is the breakfast menu Same thing every day Would like a variety Add some fresh fruit Bananas, yogarts, strawberries, blueberries Some toppings for the waffles Just some thoughts This was our first stay We reserved 3 day It is closer to our family

They took care of any concerns immediately I leave before the breakfast starts, but they’ve assisted with a few changes I’ve already reserved my next time with them Next to, and across from restaurants, shopping, etc Some of the best sleep I’ve had in awhile

Faith Reily

I really don’t understand how this place has such a high rating*It smells like cigarette smoke in *every* hallway It’s overpowering

*Our bedspread had cigarette burn holes in it*There was what could only be described as “random gunk” on the walls in our room*Hair was left in the shower*No soap dish, so your soap made a gunky mess on the counter*Our curtains were in bad shape The blackout substance was missing in many places so the sun shone through in a moth eaten pattern*the side panels of the drapes were torn down on the left side*no vending on the third floor*many repairs needed throughout the building (moldings, paint, etc)*Overall, just a general feeling of dirtiness and “ew”The staff was courteous at the front desk and breakfast Breakfast was “okay”I wouldn’t stay here again

We stayed here two months ago and it was nice This trip was different The elevator was broken

The girl said they were going to fix it the day we checked in Well that didn’t happen We were on the third floor So needless to say we got our exercise The carpet was dirty up the stairway The room was comfortable with a mini refrigerator and a microwave The bathroom was clean The breakfast was okay The juice and yogurt machine were our of order as well I was lucky to get the last yogurt out of the refrigerator Sorry to say I wasn’t impressed during this stay

My family and I had an issue with our stay at the hotel I was perfectly fine with just informing the staff about the issues without any expectations Alexander who was manning the front desk was very concerned and went to get his GM

I was shocked when Noel Salinas came out of his office on a Sunday morning (not aware of any GM’s working on Sunday mornings)Noel came out and went above and beyond what I would have ever expected His customer service skills and management skills are top tier Alexander was amazing as wellI will try this property again in the future just because they work there Two extremely nice gentlemen

Rooms were terrible!! Not clean, bugs, not enough towels and wash cloths for our rooms, along with no air-conditioning There were many complaints at the front desk from others staying in the hotel as well We assumed that with the Hilton name that this hotel would exceed our expectations

We were wrong!! Definitely choose another hotel The only Positive was the staff at the front desk Alexander was extremely polite and kind He did his best in assisting hotel guests in the midst of So many problems

Absolute waste of money Don’t know where to start All trash bins outside including by the pool are overflowing

The elevators in the hotel didn’t work when overheated, whatever that meant Nothing like lugging a baseball bag and ice chest up and down flights of stairs when there is an elevator A/C sounded like a Diesel engine the first night and was told no other rooms too move too and no one could help till the morning Breakfast is very expensive including coffee Beds and pillows are not comfortable Commode has a back-flow problem that sounds like it is belching about every 30 minutes Shower pressure goes from high to very minimal while using it, not including you almost have to pull the knob out off the wall to get it to work Stayed here for a tournament and every parent has had the same issues There is a motel 6 across the street that would probably be a better stay Here for a week and emailed the General Manager, with no response back They do have a washer and dryer on site but the dryer doesn’t workOnly thing positive is the front desk staff was very friendly Don’t know his name but he was good at putting out fires While checking in the three people in front of me were asking for refunds Should have read the writing on the wall with that

We had an uneventful experience, and that’s good when traveling Room was clean and ready Nice full breakfast

Staff was attentive Looks like they are upgrading so they were not 100% New wall paper and other projects I hope when they are completed they get an unbiased person to review It would be a shame to go through all the renovation and not have it 100% You Can Count On Me

lynne hailey

Stayed recently due to a water leak at my home We were there 5 days in the 2 bedroom apartment The rooms were huge and clean with a kitchen included

We had a great stay! My husband and I stayed for a week for work and the staff was absolutely incredible The rooms were big but a little outdated, not that that hindered our stay at all Diana and Precious at the front desk were always so amazing! They helped with anything and everything and always had a contagious smile! With the odd work hours only got to have the breakfast once but the Texas shaped waffles were so cute!! Over all we would definitely choose to stay here in the future as well as recommend it to others!!!!

Robin Nolen

We have been a Marriott rewards member for many years and I’ve never been this disappointed Rooms were dirty They apparently ran out of hand soap

Dirty bathrooms Room is cleaned every 3 days Room smelled horrible Do better !!! Breakfast was a joke Out of so many things including sugar and creamer If you’re in the area, stay elsewhere

Brandon green

The property is maintained very well All common areas are free of any debris or trash The room I booked was available immediately upon arrival and was very clean

Parking along the front is almost always full and challenging to find a spot but there are plenty of spaces along the rear of the property Will definitely return during another visit to the DFW market
