We had issues with wheelchair accessible rooms They put us on the second floor with no elevator So they moved us downstairs into the handicapped room, which we didn’t need, just one on the first floor

It looked like it had been cleaned quickly (there was trash on the floor) and it smelled of smoke When they moved us to the room we requested with 2 beds, it was better, but still had trash on the floor and hair in the shower I like the in room microwave and coffee maker The breakfast was great The lobby and breakfast room have obviously been updated more recently than the rooms and look wonderful Overall, I just felt like the hotel listing was not an accurate picture of what you get The staff were apologetic about the accessibility issues but overall I still felt like they could’ve done more My son uses a wheelchair and they put us on the second floor with no elevator and then did not even discount us when we had to downgrade to a one bed room I’m not sure if I should blame them or expedia but it should’ve been more clear that this isn’t fully accessible

Be warned to stay away from this hotel! Its our first time going to Milpitas and it so happened we booked on this mediocre hotelIts the Courtyard by Marriott Fremont Silicon ValleyLocated at 47000 Lakeview Blvd Fremont CA 94538I will give you guys a heads up not to book on this hotel if you couldIts one of the worst hotel we’ve been to

Outdated hotel amenitiesold carpet and furnishingsAlso they are doing construction workWe didn’t know because we check in at nighttime and its five hour drive from where I came fromUpon checking in to pay I was expecting they will give me some sort of discounts because I am a AAA memberOther five star hotels always honors it, but sad to say nothing was givenAlso the reception lady told me I have to booked it on their website to avail the discount if through third party website like Expedia or Travelocity they can’t honor anythingBe aware of the receptionist ladyHer name was Taylor, very poor customer service,Please don’t believe on everything she saidShe told us our breakfast and dinner was included in our reservationsSo the next day we want to try their dinner menu at their Bistro restaurant and to my surprise I was told we need to pay and its not included in our package, confusing its because in the first place we were told by the receptionist Taylor that breakfast and dinner was included upon checking inSo wrong information was given to usother than no discount on our stayIts a very frustrating and sad experiencesWe should not booked hereThere’s a better hotel out therePlease stay away so you guys won’t experience this inconvenience and get yourself a better hotel than this oneStay safe and god bless to all

I’ve stayed at many Marriott’s in the US and overseas

For the most part, I believe that this chain hotel does their very best and has many elegant and high-end locations Just like any other chain restaurant/hotel however, some locations just fall through the cracks So, my my 2-cents is don’t judge Marriott’s overall performance and quality by this particular locationPros:1) Within walking distance to a mall and Movie Theater2) Short commute to work3) Nice courtyard with a pool (No jacuzzi)4) The workout room is larger in size and well equippedCons:1) Parking lot security is non-existent Some thief went through my vehicle Nothing was stolen because it was a rental and I had very little personal property in there anyways2) Showers are terrible; the water pressure was very low and the showerhead is poor quality3) The Coffee maker is very poor quality I had to the hit the button several times just to fill one cup up4) No room service There is only a bar at the lobby and snacks at the lobby counter area The hours of operation of the bar were only in the morning and evening Those hours were very unreliable Many times they closed early due to “staffing” So all your left with are tv dinners from the front counter (microwave is only in the lobby, not in the rooms)5) Housekeeping only occurs once every 3 days If its missed because of a Do Not Disturb sign on one day, then you got to wait until the next cycle (unless of course you call and make a special request)6) There is a small fridge in the room but its not very cold and there is no freezer section7) Laundry is done by coin operated machines by the lobby ($5 in quarters plus cost of soap) My advice is to go to a executive cleaners just 5m down the road

Adam Denter

I have stayed in worse in the SJC area How much hair in the shower from previous guests is too much? When I see dirty bathroom facilities it makes me wonder what else is being missed on cleaning between guests This shower had long hairs wrapped around the included soap dispensers, pubic looking hairs stuck to the side, and what I imagine was the stubble from someone shaving their face on the little lip

I like the Courtyard chain because they usually have better housekeeping When I mentioned the state of the shower to the FDC she at least responded with an ok but otherwise didn’t seem too surprised to hear it

Greg Roskos

This has become my go to Marriott property in the San Jose area for work Good parking situation, not directly on a busy road Plenty of parking too

Always clean and well maintained Great rooms Friendly staff And fantastic rates Highly recommendUpdate 3/2022Still one of my favorite Marriott properties Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the Milpitas/San Jose area!

One of the best stay experiences I’ve ever had! The rooms are of decent size with all the basic necessities anyone would need People can pick the room they prefer, from a list of available rooms! I really like that they have a clean only when asked policy to respect the guests privacy So, the cleaning staff would only come when you ask them to

I had breakfast included with the stay Good options including eggs, sausages, cereals, yogurt, waffles (with toppings) and a few other things The staff is friendly which adds to the positive experience The amenities include an in-house gym and pool table that’s accessible throughout the day

Susie Stoddard

Pros- Nice large rooms with kitchenette-Good hot breakfast, that the staff keeps very sanitary- close the the highway

Cons- The worst bed I have ever slept on I’ve never experienced a lumpy mattress before this weekend and it made for a crummy nights sleep AND the bed was 4 inches lower on the right side which made you feel like you were falling off- no hot tub- starting July 1, 22′ they charge $10 a night parking- must request room cleaning serviceI don’t post reviews normally, but we liked this hotel and the amount of space you get in the room, but there was some disappointing aspects that I wish we had known before that I wanted to share

Richard Thornton

The room and the staff were very accommodating The check in process was very simple and they were able to get it done quickly The location is not the best, it is quite a ways away from the center of San Jose, but it is definitely quiet and you won’t be bothered staying this far out

I was able to do a late checkout with no issue and they were happy to accommodate the request Large rooms with a kitchenette that has an apartment sized fridge and even a stovetop if you’re staying for an extended period of time this is very convenient I was unable to try the free breakfast, but they are serving it at the moment

You will love this hotel! I consider myself a seasoned traveler, having traveled the country for my previous job and staying in numerous hotels This hotel has some of the best water pressure you can imagine, I absolutely loved my showers there! The staff was super nice and greeted us each time we entered or left, everywhere I had seen in the hotel was clean and well lit, and the room was great and spacious We were even on the 11th floor, which gave us a great view! We couldn’t have been happier with our stay

We will stay here again when we find ourselves back in San Jose!

Jess V

We stayed in a room with a double queen on the 9th floor It was not spacious but not completely cramped The pool is nice on the 3rd floor next to the fitness room which has a restroom

The food at the lounge was delicious We had a big party and the waitress was very attentive They changed to large screen TV to the main basketball game upon request as we were the only filled tables watching the game They were able to make a special request for a dietary restriction that would seem strange It was overall a good place to stay

angel Ck

It was a comfortable stay No problems checking in Room is clean and spacious

Mini fridge, iron with ironing board, combo safe and a keurig coffee machine I like that it has a reading light on each side of the bed Also their restaurant downstairs is very convenient to have a drink or a meal Only had one very minor issue, that there was only one paper cup and three towels A large one and two small face towels to be exact

Extremely concerning

first and foremost they double charged me and when I asked the staff they could not resolve or explain why one of their employees charged me twice for a 1 night stay I’m stuck waiting for them to call me back and HOPE they refund me the unauthorized transactionSecond, we stayed here because it’s hot in San Jose and we were drawn by the picture of the pool The pool does not work, it’s filthy, and they didn’t even bother to put up a sign or alert us when booking the reservation We had to find out once we got there and we inquired about the pool We saw many others go up to the pool just to be disappointedLastly, everything is an additional charge When I stay at a Sheraton I am aware I am paying extra for a room for the amenities not expecting to get charged additional fees for everything little thing Parking is $12 a night Which I still don’t know if it’s a valid chargeNever staying here again and would not recommend No hand soap in the bathroom (during COVID-19) and the carpets were stained and dirty

Gmc S.

Bedding was fine The carpet was dirty, my toddler kept finding food from previous renter Faucet in the bathroom was broken so we had to use the water in the shower

Floor in the bathroom was not cleaned at all We had to use water from our water bottle to brush our teeth Window didn’t have screen so we had flies and mosquitoes come in upon our arrival We had to use the door of the lobby to get to our unit Door closes to us closed at a certain time Parking lot is super dark It was so inconvenient I wouldn’t get a room here again if you ask me Didn’t want to waste our time calling the front We just needed a place to crash for 2 days before heading to San Diego

Rania Shehadah

This review is for a stay and event coordination by Carlos Pimentel and his entire team I had the pleasure of throwing my Bridal Shower at the Sheraton Hotel and we could not be any happier with the service, food, cleanliness, and amazing customer service Carlos blew it out of the ballpark with his work ethic and service to ensure we had the best time ever

Also, the food was amazing and the hotel rooms are always so clean and so spacious We highly recommend this hotel for a stay or your next event!

The manager, who I believe is named Nick, was by far without a doubt the nicest and best Hilton employee I’ve ever met As a diamond member, I’ve met tons and tons of hotel employees but this guy went above the rest He was training a new person who he treated very respectfully, upgraded my room for free, and called in to check on me about an hour after checking in

Hilton should promote this guy and pay him to travel around and train other hotels on how to treat guests I’ve noticed a big decline in hospitality since COVID at all branded hotels but this again was by far above and beyond anything I’ve experienced in the past decade Give this guy a raise!!

Malcolm Phillips

The service was great Rooms were pretty good Shower control was a little confusing as it didn’t work the same as the basin

The gym was tiny and had many weights missing Pool was niceBreakfast didn’t have any non-dairy milk available but I made do All up it was a nice stay

Fred CD

Nick at the front desk was very down-to-earth and knowledgeable and at check in was super fast When the room I was in was showing reserved for the next day when I tried to extend for two more days Nick worked some more magic and not only had me keep the same room type but was able to keep me in the same room without moving which is a pain if you’ve already settled in your room but Nick took care of that at first I thought he was a motivated employee come to find out he’s the general manager which mildly surprised me some general managers or managers can come off with a chip on their shoulder Overall my stay was great the rooms are a little dated but still comfortable and this Hampton Inn is a little less expensive for the area so reflected in the price

The breakfast like at most Hampton had a lot of options the waffles with scrambled eggs sausage oatmeal muffins good coffee and nothing ever ran out Would stay again If you’re looking for modern and new Hampton this wouldn’t be it but it is still very clean with a great housekeeping staff Thanks Nick!!

Our preferred place to stay when visiting the Bay Centrally located w access to restaurants, retail stores, Great America, and Levi Stadium Service is genuine and efficient, and the facilities are well managed

Rooms could use a face-lift but it serves its purpose It’s clean and comfortable The mini fridge and microwave is convenient, and there’s ample closet and drawer space Good for families or the business traveler There is a restaurant on site but serves only breakfast; continental and cook to order eggs, omelets

I’m miffed by the attitudes of the ladies at the front desk at this hotel Example- I asked for a water, the response was her asking my room number, and then a rude “normally you would ask for this when you check in, but I will give it to you this time” A case of water costs around $4, which means the water was approximately

16 to 25 cents a bottle I’m a diamond member ( big deal, I know) , and “normally” I’m given a water bottle or 2 happily by the front desk attendants at the other Hilton hotels I stay at on a very regular basis Normally, we are given daily room service Normally, our rooms are clean when we arrive Normally there’s a bartender at the lounge when the hotel advertises evening bar hours Normally, we are treated nicely when we have a simple request-and, normally, I would never take the time to write a review In these days of getting much less from the hotels than we pay for, it seems like a 25 cent bottle of water would be an easy win… I know- operations have changed due to Covid Time to move on, this excuse is getting way to old- we all know why the services have been cut How about investing all the money being saved in some simple guest courtesy coaching classes?????

C.Q. The Great

There is nothing terrible about this place, but it clear that this is an older facility that had a remodel at some point Unfortunately, the remodel is showing its ageFitness center feels like an afterthought

It is half the size of a basic room One is literally a crowd On top of that the room is further cut down in size because it is a pass through to the pool and “staff only” areas so wet feet and constant door opening is a regular occurrence It’s a shame considering how big this place is and the room they have knock down a wall or twothough, conveniently located to anything you could want for a short stay

I want to be clear that this is not a bad hotel by any means Certainly not a hotel horror story you hear about At the same time, I was slightly disappointed based on the reviews I had read, so I thought I would post

To start, I thought based on the pictures online that a “premier room with balcony”, would have a room overlooking the pool, or a hood view of the town at least based on the pictures I saw online My room overlooks the parking lot, freeway, and a strip mall across the street Not a huge thing, but somethingThe jacuzzi was down when I was there Not hot, no bubbles Again, not a game changer, but just something And when I did visit the pool, there were people present who were glaring at me and my son We didn’t feel comfortable or welcomed and so we left that area Again, not something to make a big deal of, I could have said something and didn’t But somethingI think a fair comparison in any hotel review is a Motel 6 Everyone has stayed at a Motel 6 before You know what you’re getting into with a Motel 6 – cheaper, pretty bare bones, nothing to write home about, someplace (usually safe) you can lie your head at night There are better places, equal to, and worse places to stay than a Motel 6… I feel like my experience here has been equal to a Motel 6 Which I don’t think is a slam (again, not a bad experience), but also, just a very average hotel stay when I definitely paid what I think was premier hotel pricing I had to pay for overnight parking, which I didn’t see advertised anywhere, and I was even told upon check-in that housekeeping is only coming to rooms once every three days I’m sure that is a cost-saving measure at this point, but those cost savings are not being reflected in the pricePerhaps I’m being slightly unfair in that I didn’t speak with staff before writing this I’m not sure what they could have done though short of reducing the price, which I’m not sure is a fair ask They can’t change the view off my balcony or make people not look at me And again, it’s not a BAD hotel All the staff have been great I just thought I should write something though since I do use reviews myself when picking a hotel

Otto Weirich

AMAZING STAFF, I was staying here for work and long story short there was an issue in my room and all of the staff did an amazing job taking care of me and even upgrading my room for the inconvenience I wish I knew the names of the other employees but Erin the general manager runs a great hotel with a great team I don’t think I have ever been treated so well staying at a hotel than they did here

The rooms were super clean, and looked great They have a bar and small dining area serving breakfast lunch and dinner with a wonderful bar tender I will always choose this place when staying in the area again Thanks Erin and team!

Matthew Gant

The room wasn’t fully cleaned Notes from someone’s take out order left on the dresser Garbage in the hallway sitting for hours

The hot tub wasn’t heated Refrigerator in the room didn’t work The free breakfast area was closed They just had a few items in a basket with an empty coffee container There’s an extra cost for everything $12 a day for parking with signs everywhere saying they’re not responsible if anything happens to your car So obviously things are happening to the cars

This should have been my first option for planning a Father’s Day Weekend get away with my family Compared to another hotel in San Jose was just not a good fit for a family environment or service and amenities This is like day and night

I like this Quality Inn San Jose Airport much better than the other “airport” located hotelMainly in SJ to visit the SJ Center for the Arts Although the first hotel was under ten minutes from that place, this Quality Inn location was a fit further drive from our visit, it is well worth the other “airport” location was horrible surroundings (people) and in generally unsafe for a family with childrenDuring this post pandemic period, the hotel is more in tuned in and intuitive to the customers needs Hot Breakfast -great Room, amenities fantastic Great location: close to freeway access, restaurants, Gas Station across the same street Overall a better location that the other initial hotel stayThe staff is friendly, knowledgeable & accommodating The room was fantastic The building in general is great

Pratyush Rai

Nice rooms, with prompt service on every alternate days Will certainly prefer it againOnly for the location, I am considering it as 9

5/10 As for a newcomer to San Jose, there’s just Jack in the box or Tirupathi Bhimas at a walkable distance Otherwise, Taco Axolotl food truck saves the day or Rotten Robbies (across the road) can get you some sandwiches/burgers/bagels, the concern will be only for the night However, if you have a car to drive around, or grubHub/Doordash installed – the location is 10/10 There is even a Pinewood park close by You can get 66 VTA bus nearbyNothing that can be disliked about the stay Although my room was facing the street, barely got disturbed by traffic Breakfast was worthy All in all, pretty decent

They have a nice seating area in the lobby which I like it a lot So I have four star

Staying here was a great experience It was very clean, properly staffed and everyone was helpful and kind during my stay My room and public areas were all very clean

Everything felt newly renovated, and it was easy to feel comfortable while I was there The fitness center was spacious, well equipped and never crowded Both the front desk and shuttle drivers were incredibly kind and helpful with anything I needed If you’re visiting San Jose or any of the surrounding cities, this hotel will exceed your expectations

We stayed for 1 night Rooms are spacious and well designed with comfortable beds Free filtered water

We had to switch rooms because the sliding door of the bathroom didn’t provide us privacy (room 512) I talked to the receptionist and he moved us to 505 and solved our issue immediately Breakfast had the essentials (omelette, juice, sausage, muffins, cinnamon rolls) We also asked for late check out and we had it at 13:00 (11:00am is the checkout normally) Perfect!

The staff is friendly, especially the female workers They all take good care of your requests Nobody cleans your room unless you make specific requests because of covid

The breakfast made my day! The layout of the hotel is dumb because it’s the longest walk possible between the lobby and parking lot The water does not get hot enough for me The windows don’t open Coffee available in lobby all day and it was good Everything considered it was a very good stay

What a welcoming hotel! The overall staff is truly exemplary Their check-in process was efficient and friendly The complimentary breakfast was actively being stocked and cleaned between guests

Fresh coffee, oatmeal, and fruit is my go-to grab & go breakfast on the road, so this was a treatThe highlight was the honesty of their front desk manager, Amanda Busco I had a package rerouted, but unfortunately it arrived late after I had flown out The package was lost in transit, and immediately Amanda tracked down my email to let me know it was safe at the hotel I cannot thank them enough for their honesty and excellent attentiveness to guests Can’t wait to visit again!

I travel extensively for work, and often Hilton Hotels are my home away from home Unfortunately, because of my line of work I miss many special events Last month, my partner celebrated her birthday while I was out of state

She planned a weekend getaway, and I arranged the reservation through my Hilton member account Prior to making the reservation, I was advised to add my partner’s name as an additional guest and have her show her ID upon arrival I was looking for ways to make her weekend extra special, so I called the hotel, and was greeted by Amanda B, the front desk manager I explained my situation and asked if it was possible to wish my partner a happy birthday upon arrival Amanda said yes, and exceeded my expectations!  She was creative and thoughtful in the way she organized my partner’s experience during her stay Thank you for making her day extra special while I was hundreds of miles away!

Friendly staff But, the room was not very nice I felt dirty in the bathroom trying to clean myself in the shower

There were black dots on the ceiling I’m assuming mold Yellow gunk on the ground The sink was cracked in so many places Just, felt dated and dirty I will not stay here again The lamp was all wonky and disheveled The beds were fine The decor was nice But, a yucky bathroom is a no go and will surely keep me from returning!
