There’s not enough words to describe this AMAZING place! My 1st time in Ohio and I was lucky to get a room here This hotel is the cleanest I have ever stayed at! The people who work here in every department are the nicest most welcoming people! I felt so at home here it was hard to leave! The food at the restaurant was delicious and overall ambiance is gorgeous! It’s not fair to give a 5 star rating when they deserve 100 more! They don’t disappoint! I have stayed in countless hotels over my years of traveling, and this tops them all! I’ll be back here for sure Thank you to the kind staff for everything

They were welcoming for me to take photos in my cosplay there as well ❤️ I adore it here!!

The food was good but horrible service After 30 minutes of watching our waitress serve other tables and ignore us In the hour and half we were in the restaurant my drink was topped off once and another waitress brought us catsup for my daughter We were never offered a desert menu or given a bill

I finally walked out and found someone at the desk When I explained to the manager he promptly brought the bill and made sure I paid before leaving

Small-town America at its’ finest Situated on the far East end of the main street through Granville, this quiet location is well situated and nicely appointed The hotel is close to a number of restaurants, small shops, and the area is very walkable

The main entrance is covered for arrivals during bad weather and the reception desk is right inside the door We were greeted warmly and found our room ready on arrival We had a corner room with a view out to the main street and towards downtownThe room was clean, had a small closet with robes, and a reasonably large bathroom The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet at night There was a nice side chair and ottoman that was very comfortable for reading The only bummer was that the fireplace was not functionalOur two-night stay was very enjoyable and comfortable with the staff being responsive to our questions and our needs

My fiancé booked a room a week in advance, she even called to make sure it was booked and nothing would happen and the woman assured it was good to go We went to check in today and we got DOUBLEBOOKED!!! The woman was super rude to her, didn’t even offer a discount or another room We were looking forward to tonight and now it’s ruined

Absolutely never recommending this place Ridiculous!!!!!!

X-RayWolf

Bathroom always smell like a sewage, vending machine never work properly you have to shake it to get what you paid for, trash cans in the room gets full too fast!, treadmill don’t work properly as soon as you step on it it stops moving, they only have 2 dry off towels on the shelf so we have to ask for new towels everyday, you have to turn the TV volume up to 40 plus to hear it clearly, pillows are too bulky, the room keys don’t work properly you have to punch your card 3 plus times to get in your room, the bathtub feels like it could cave in at any moment, the free breakfast is fine I always have an upset stomach after eating breakfast for some reason, the faucet is too far back I have cuff my hand to get water while brushing my teeth overall I’ll give it a 2 out 5 stars

My husband and I stayed at Hampton Inn Heath over the MEMORIAL day weekend The entrance to the hotel is a little hard to find We went past it and missed it the first time

The staff was very friendly and helpful The rooms very cleanthe even smelled clean What I like about this hotel is that it is QUIET very helpful when you’re trying to sleepThey have a very nice FREE breakfast It includes eggs, potatoes, some kind of meat, breads, pastries, oatmeal, make your own waffles, fruit salad, yogurt, juices, coffee and cereals Something for every tasteWe have stayed at this hotel a few times and always had very satisfactory stay It’s a nice place to stay

Matt Klink

Smallest Hampton Inn I’ve been to Good location Check-in took a long time but only one person was working the desk

Found our room clean except the toilet, which had pubic hairs and what I assume was menstrual fluid on the bowl Asked for housekeeping but was given a new room as there was only one housekeeping staff on duty New room was fine except for the drunken fool who decided to start making a ruckus and start cursing at 245am Sound was clear as day as it traveled underneath the gap in the adjoining room door Called the front desk and to their credit, they were down their knocking on the guy’s door in seconds Breakfast had a nice spread and area was very clean Unlike some hotels, there were some options for vegetarian and vegan folks which is appreciated Came here for the Summer Blast softball tournament in nearby Frazeysburg (which if you’re considering in the future- don’t do it! You’ve been warned)

A woman at the local arboretum recommended this hotel

Between her description and mayumi’s below Well let me just say neither one of these women steered me wrong! From the good dreams I had while I slept to the hello and goodbye that felt like aloha Let’s just say I took a card so that if I come back in the same direction I will plan to stay here again 🙂

Wonderful Granville Getaway! We have stayed in a lot of B&Bs over the years, and the Welsh Hills Inn is easily one of the finest experiences we have had Beginning with Wrigley’s friendly welcome at our car, the hospitality never stopped The aura of comfort was first evident in the beautiful common areas and grounds and extended into our luxurious room

Jeff’s breakfasts were amazing, and he and Bobbi truly made us feel at home in their gorgeous inn We will definitely return whenever we want a relaxing getaway not too far from home

Aubren Davis

We had the best time here at The Welsh Hills Inn and will definitely be back Bobbie and Jeff were great to work with to accommodate everything we wanted They were so sweet and kind and always available if you ever needed anything

They also have two sweet dogs that we just adored and they both greeted us immediately This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience and it exceeded all of our expectations and more As our last weekend before we welcome a new baby we wanted to just go somewhere relax and unwind and spend time together and this place let us do just that It didn’t even feel like we were close to Columbus or even in Ohio for that matter The hills/views were amazing, how quiet and peaceful it was made it even better to just sit and relax on the porch Definitely is a paradise away from home The food was excellent, breakfast was great, our little candlelight dinner was everything and more, and we had a bonfire the last night we were there and it was so nice and relaxing The massage therapist was also great and I left relaxed From the house, our room, the food, views, and the hospitality it was a 10/10 visit and we will be back

Erin Robinson

I booked this getaway so my family and I could all relax and enjoy spending some quality time with one another Our trip definitely did not disappoint!!! We started each morning off with an amazing breakfast, that is as beautiful as it is delicious We also decided to treat ourselves to a candlelight dinner one night

We had the NY Strip, baked potato and corn on the cob Our steaks were HUGE, and cooked to perfection! We all agreed that it was the best dinner we had ever had Jeff & Bobbi serve a menu that is out of this world! It’s worth staying just for the food! We enjoyed our lazy days floating in the pool, playing games, talking, laughing, napping and sitting around a fire at night I chose to treat myself to a hot stone massage one afternoon and it too was fabulous Jeff, Bobbi and of course Wrigley & Ellie ensured that my family and I had such a wonderful time They really do go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect with your stay They work tirelessly so you are pleased with your experience here at The Welsh Inn It’s a one of a kind, relaxing vacation Nothing else even compares

Brittany checked us in and she was friendly and very efficient during the check in process She definitely loves her job! The lobby was clean and very impressive Our room was very nice, and so clean

The chair and ottoman were so comfortable! The sheets were pristine, the bed was awesome, the shower beautiful and the water pressure amazing! This was our first time at this hotel and we will definitely be back

Lori Edwards

The manager and staff make this hotel! They were very accommodating when myself and my elderly parents needed a place to stay due to the power outages and a faulty generator The manager and front desk clerk went out of their way to help get my parents settled in a cool room I can’t say enough about the kindness we were shown

They also welcomed my service dog and made us feel comfortable The room service staff were great as well I want to thank all the staff at the DoubleTree for your warmth and kindness

Laura Green

The night front desk staff and GM were extremely nice and understanding when we had an issue with our bathroom They gave us a night for free and money to the restaurant However, it doesn’t really matter when the rooms were absolutely disgusting

Gross stuff on the walls, blood stains on the comforter and worst of all dried blood on the bottom of our toilet The shower head is very strong and sprayed the toilet and gross dirty water came off the toilet as well When I was looking to see where it was coming from, I found the blood We had to wear flip flops every time we showered or went into the bathroom They cleaned the bathroom the next morning but didn’t fully get the spot out! I don’t understand, how hard is it to get a on your knees and scrub blood off the toilet? I ended up using the disinfectant cloth that was left in the room to get rid of it Absolutely disgusting We also got stuck in the elevator and they ran out of parking We will be back in the area for other shows at Legend Valley, but we’ll never stay here again

Zoya Kleshchevnikova

I spent a lot of time looking for a hotel for my family getaway and decided on this place as they had breakfast and pool with hot tub, all for a very good low price compared to everywhere else I even drove a bit out of the way from the attractions we were seeing and I’m very pleased! Staff was very professional, it was more fancy than I expected! We even got little snacks in our room as a welcome gift how sweet The breakfast was very delicious especially the waffle

Breakfast attendants we’re very professional and kind We were the only ones in the pool and we really enjoyed the hot tub, pool was heated and was very enjoyable my daughter didn’t want to leave The beds were decent and our room was very clean If we come back to Ohio definitely staying here again, thank you for such a wonderful stay! I can tell the owner really cares about this place 🙂

Brenda Weatherwax

Stayed one night while air conditioner at home not working The area seemed safe, no concerns there The room was clean and comfortable

The bed was good The room was a bit dark and the carpet dated, but overall it was good for the price range Staff very friendly We didn’t use the pool, but the wifi worked fine and the breakfast was good, standard fair for a hotel in this price range Kroger, Gas Station, Burger King across the street No elevator but only two levels It is pet friendly It is also non smoking, but there was someone, guest or staff, smoking in one of the rooms when we left as you could smell it quite strong in the hallway No odor in our actual room We would stay there again if needed

Larissa Maiden

Check in was very easy! Staff was friendly and helpful Our room was very welcoming with snacks and drinks Beautiful presentation! Hot tub in room was the perfect temperature

Bed was decently comfortable We spent a lot of time downstairs in the pool and hot tub (Only complaint is that the pool was very cold) The breakfast was great, tasty cheese omelets, sausage pattie’s, freshly made waffles with toppings, breads and bagels, juices and coffee (and more!) We had a wonderful trip thanks to the staff at Best Western Worth every penny

Christian Cottrell

The rooms were clean and spacious, especially considering we got a standard queen room and not a bigger suite The front desk workers were incredibly helpful The scenery, especially the gazebo and pond in the center of the hotel area, were a very nice touch as well

The only complaints are that the road leading to it is a little confusing and the “complimentary” breakfast is actually $15 per guest, which is incredibly steep given the quality of the good Don’t get me wrong, the food was fine, but they aren’t serving high end items

Melissa Craft

The outside definitely needs some work but the rooms are recently remodeled and very cleanThis is a 2 story building and very very long It’s a haul from 1 side to the other

The court yard is beautiful, but again, needs some landscapingThe pool is small, but clean The breakfast buffet was very good I would stay here again

Jen Knox

I really appreciate this place My husband and I had to come here with our pups last minute due to electrical work on the house, and it was a comfortable and lovely place to stay Everyone was kind, and though the restaurant wasn’t open the day we were there, the bar menu was pretty good

My only small critique would be to offer one vegan option on the bar menu

The Trout Club is absolutely a beautiful restaurant and venue sadly that’s all it is We have given them numerous tries and all of them have been awful We recently went on Friday night April 1, 2022

We had a reservation for a party of two We were downstairs, the music was great and the ambiance was perfect Our waitress was awful, that’s when we saw her We had stuffed mushrooms for our appetizer They were cold and had no flavor Our dinner entree’s arrived and they were terrible I had the salmon my husband had fish and chips Mine was ice cold I finally found a bus boy and asked him to warm it up Neither my husband nor myself could eat our meal We spent $12000 on dinner and left hungry The waitress never even asked how our dinner was You would think she would have noticed our plates still being full It’s sad that such a beautiful establishment has the worst food in service We will not be going back

Everything you’d expect for a Marriott brand Easy access to local interstate and roads Close proximity to gas stations, fast food, and sit-down restaurants

Staff was friendly and welcoming Room was a little tight in some spaces (only 16-24 inches between furniture in walkway), but overall it was comfortable Bed left a little to be desired, but that’s likely my personal tastesThe only weird thing was a column in the corner of the bathroom closest to the toilet It makes it impossible for larger-than-average people to use the restroom normally (You can see it just to one side of the photos I’ve provided) You can tell it wasn’t originally intended to be there because they cut the light switch plate in half

Zekordavar Rimba

Beware of staying here, the hotel has security issues I had an item stolen from the room I filed a police report on the incident and had already reached out to the hotel manager regarding the incident

Yet, the hotel and its staff had trouble helping with the investigation The hotel does not even have proper security cameras to help in the investigation of the incident; they only have card keys history which can only tell so much
