Would give 10+ stars if I could! This place is amazing for a value hotel! The staff is wonderful I had an issue with my tv when I checked in and the sweet girl at the front desk immediately sent the also sweet maintenance man up to fix it! The room is spotless, they have free hot breakfast and a nice pool and hot tub! Right off the interstate with a McDonald’s within walking distance and a Cracker Barrel right next door 10/10 will definitely stay again if the need arises

I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

I will never stay here again Both nights we stayed we were above the community room which hosted a grad party one night and a wedding party the other Music was so loud in our room and continued late into the night

If you want a good nights rest make sure you stay on the other side of the hotel or another floor If not expect to hear loud bass for hours until quiet times begin and you can file an official noise complaint

Susan B

Check-in was smooth and friendly The room was very clean We were traveling with two dogs and there were large areas as well as open fields behind the hotel to walk them

There were several waste disposal stations around the hotel, but bring your own baggies! We’d definitely stay here again

I think the best things about this hotel are the location, the beds, and the staff Upon arriving after driving for 8 hours, the front desk receptionist was kind, gracious, and informative so we really appreciate that! The beds were super cozy and comfortable and the hotel is nicely situated off a main road so we didn’t hear any noise and slept wonderfully What I wasn’t a fan of is the fact that the room was not checked throughly when being cleaned and to me – that’s just gross

The trash hadn’t been taken out, the coffee pot hadn’t been cleaned/filter removed, dishwasher was dirty, eating utensils were missing, and the bathtub was kind of dirty and less than desirable when all you want to do is take a bath These things don’t seem like a big deal but customers have a choice when selecting hotels and I’m someone who predominantly supports Marriott and have stayed at their properties 50+ times but decided to venture outside my comfort zone, only to arrive and wish I had just stayed inside of it

WOW! had my first stay at Home2 on February 5 I really like this chain This hotel was new and sparkling clean

The rooms (we had 2) were super-spacious and well stocked The bed was very comfortable I loved the full fridge and a decent microwave We had to leave before breakfast unfortunately I would like breakfast to start earlier I love Hilton’s virtual key Highly recommend this spot!

Casey Kasten

Our overall experience at this hotel wasn’t the best The woman working the front desk was very kind, but besides that we were very disappointed When we stepped off the elevator to the 2nd floor the first thing we saw was an overflowing trash can

Outside of our room there was a very disgusting, unknown substance Inside the room there was hair in the sink and in the tub The carpet had noticeable stains everywhere and my husband’s socks were black from walking in the room The tan colored couch was also covered in stains We will definitely not be returning

The lady that works the front desk on the weekends, was outstanding!! She was so nice, always available, great service! This hotels saving graceThe night person was NEVER available The weekend day girl was unfriendly almost rude, more interested in her phone than the business of the hotel

The pool was murky and smallThere wasn’t a hot tub although so many pictures showed one – the only reason why we chose to stay thereImagine our disappointment when there wasn’t one Upon entering, checking in, someone was calling and asking about the pics they saw of the hot tubThe rooms were standardThe rates were good for what it was

So much bad Not a 3 Star, not even a 2 star First the Good

Maids friendly and good workers Maintenance man was BUSY but very personableOur room was two queen beds But only one chair in the room (I sat on the floor) Had a small desk but they had a lamp and the morning coffee set up on the desk If you want to do any office work the lamp and coffee tray have to go on the floor A two person room but you better be prepared to live out of your suitcase Only two small drawersMattress was like sleeping on cardboard with a foam pad over the topWashing machine and dryer coin operated slides get stuck, will not pull out Front desk says its been that way for awhile They have to be really banged and push/pulled to get them out We skipped our 2nd load of wash Front desk does NOT have a supply of quarters for laundryWent to get juice for breakfast and noted a stale smell from juice dispenser Apple Juice tasted funny Suspect unit is NOT cleaned as it should beExcepting the maids and maintenance man the whole place indicates indifference to customer stay/customer care Obvious that there hasn’t been much money spent on keeping the place up Cheapness endemic everywhere you look Lack of investment and attention to the details than make a pleasant stay are missingWon’t stay here again, Would not recommend Don’t be fooled by the 3 Star rating

The hotel did partially refund me for the following issues and the staff were very kindMy first room has definitely been smoked in recently After switching rooms, I tried the gym

Basically a glorified closet, what did work didn’t work well Loose pieces on the weight machine Had to step over other equipment to get to the back of the “gym”The second room had a jacuzzi tub (yay) but when the Jacuzzi was on, I could smell mold The shower curtain was moldy and the bathroom sink took 2 hours to drainThe Jacuzzi would turn itself on about every 30 minutes Took the attendant and I over an hour before we finally unscrewed the cover and I unplugged it myself Then, as I laid down, I could hear tons of noise in the hallway and front desk (first floor unit)Of course they were sold out so couldn’t change rooms again and too late to change hotels

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel and because it was within a 2 week period, I was given a discount The room was clean and the king size bed was amazing The bathroom had been updated and the shower was wonderful

They offered a full hot breakfast, which was tasty The assistants were very friendly and helpful The only negative is the bathroom is smallI definitely will make this my go to hotel when traveling from Michigan to South Carolina

I 100% recommend this hotel! During our weekend trip to Lexington we originally booked a different hotel about 10 miles away from downtown, but when when we got there it ended up being a disaster I was recommended the Best Western Lexington Inn and they were able to get us a room within minutes and saved us from the nightmare hotel that we originally bookedDavid at the front desk is by far the sweetest and most helpful person I’ve ever associated with at a hotel, that man deserves a raise! The room was super clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the bathroom came prepared with a lot of necessities just in case you forget something

The breakfast was top notch, and the location of the hotel is great no matter where in Lexington you’ll be heading toYou will not regret booking here! This will definitely be my #1 hotel choice in Lexington for any future Conventions I will be attending

Becky Staton

Very nice clean rooms and helpful staff! Nice breakfast with the best pancakes ever! I had booked a room at another hotel for the weekend and it was atrocious to say the least! It was after 10PM when we staggered into this hotel desperate for a room fearing the worst but the gentleman working the night shift was so kind and got us a room! He even let us see the room first because we had just had such an awful experience elsewhere We’ll definitely be staying here next time we are in town!

My husband and I made reservations to stay at this location on our travels to upstate NYWe checked in right at 3pm and requested 1st floor Mike was awesome and able to accommodate which is never guaranteed

The room was extremely clean and bed very comfortable Breakfast was what we expected and nice to have something before our long drive We were so happy with this hotel I made reservations on our return Only issue for this stay was the door was so heavy to open and slow to close I would recommend this hotel Great location and plenty of choices for restaurants!

jeffrey minnis

I stay at Hampton inns all across the country, never had a bad experience but this one stands out as the best when it comes to hospitality! They are over the top in making me feel welcome when I arrive, good old fashioned southern hospitality, rooms are always clean as well as the entire facility Parking is a little tight in the front if you drive a large SUV or full size truck but there’s another lot in the back with plenty of room for larger vehicles

The Murder Mystery Dinner was an incredible experience! Our event was held inside as opposed to on the rooftop due to the hot weather, which was perfectly fine by me The room in which the event took place was finely decorated and well set up with 8 round tables and a bar in the corner First course of appetizers was brought out promptly at 7 and the other courses were perfectly delivered throughout the rest of the evening by the attentive and professional waitstaff

The food was outstanding, at times unique, and filling I would visit again to just try the restaurant As far as the theatrical part, I was blown away by the incredible acting of all those involved The actors were sure to put on a show and fully embodied their characters, it was most entertaining Overall, an absolute enjoyable experience- perfect for a date night, a night out solo, or with a group of friends!

Elizabeth Kerlick Rodriguez

Thank you for such a nice stay! Everyone was extremely friendly and check in was easy! Our room was great and enjoyed the sound machine for sleeping at night Love the personalization with a special card when we arrived and fresh flowers For dinner, we went to their restaurant, Castle Farm, and we started off with the ravioli and asparagus salad which were both great! Our entrees (braised short rib & black and blue strip) were delicious and cooked perfectly

We also had breakfast before we left the next morning, which was tasty and piping hotJordan made our visit extra special and was a great bartender with delicious cocktails!

Ryan Wellman

I booked the Grand King Deluxe for my wife’s special birthday and every element of our stay was exquisite The room was immaculate, it had everything we needed (thank you for the white-noise machine – not that we needed it; I just can’t sleep without it), the bed was comfortable, the staff was accommodating, etc and the next morning my wife and her friend’s enjoyed a wonderful brunch

I’m told all the plates were cleaned and all reports were very positive Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Hotel looks new and clean from the exterior but the room itself had been heavily used with significant signs of wear – bathroom door wouldn’t close, pullout sofa had seen better days, strong odor from a previous guest (cooking?)The breakfast was good and evening cookies and lemonade were appreciated Giving three stars because of this and the staff who were helpful and friendly

During checkout the clerk insisted the room we were checking out of was incorrect and we were assigned to a different floor and room Not sure how this happened but it left me feeling a little uneasy about our stay

Mandy K

Rude and lazy employees ! Place was dirty – hair stuck to walls and left on handicap chair/sink Breakfast had only hard boiled eggs, the batter to make waffles was so watery you couldn’t make it in the waffle maker Biscuits were dry and hard

Had a dog barking all night next to us and the people above us jumping and loud I went to the front desk at midnight to complain and ask for help The man was unsympathetic and told me there was nothing he could do “ I can’t shut the dog up” I said we have a 10 hour drive and need to sleep We were given a handicap room ( no choice) The man at the front desk said the dog bothered the owner and drove her nuts so the dog was moved we have no other rooms Had to keep TV on loud to muffle out the slamming exit door and dog When first arriving the carpet was wet and the room had a weird smell The place does not looks like the pictures listed from the rooms to the breakfast! Thank God we only had to stay one night …

Kendra Mack

Decently clean, moderately priced The staff was friendly and helpful The first room we got smelled really, really bad

It smelled like someone bled all over the room and then they tried to cover it up with tons of cleaner We immediately asked for another room and they gave us one without any issues The next room we got was clean and it smelled normal The free breakfast was ok Just eggs and sausage plus the normal breads and cereals, etc They did have waffle makers, which we liked

We definitely picked this Hampton location vs others in Lexington based on price (including Marriott’s) of both room rate and pet feeComing north on I-75 and getting into town at 5:30p traffic was a nightmare and took a good 30 minutes from the interstateWe were greeted by a very nice young lady and check- in was fast

We found the same ancient and tiny room referenced by a previous guest For two people and a dog we were stepping all over each other in the 2 queen room, and it was a feat to close the bathroom door if you were actually in it – remodeling isn’t likely to fix that At first glance the room looked old but clean, but then the dog found stuff on the floor to try and eat, and going over surfaces (nightstand, bathroom counter, desk) with our Clorox wipes we found they had dried up stuff on them UghThere are pictures taped on the wall of the hallway of what may be future upgrades, but until that happens I would not return to or recommend this location There are 3 other hotels across the parking lot… pick one of those not the closet filled with furniture from your grandparents garage Sorry HI

Kevin O’Donnell

Pros: Staff is super friendly The ground floor common areas were nice Coffee was hot – even during the evening hours

They offered complimentary snacks with check-inCons: The AC/Heat was too loud Made for a cold night’s sleep The hallways looked tired – specifically the carpet The chairs in the room were a little threadbare

Elizabeth Walker

There is no pool There is no mention of this on the website and we were not told at check-in A check-in that took 20 minutes

The beds are also extremely hard I asked to speak to the Manager because we only chose this hotel for the pool and was told someone would call and have yet to receive a call or even an apology I would recommend a hotel that cares about customer service

If you don’t want to shower at your hotel, add three stars to this review If you plan on showering, subtract these twoThe room was pretty, the bed was comfy, and then the water was cold

The desk man came to feel it, after advising us to “give it a few minutes,” and claimed that the room-temp-at-best water was warm I said, “You’ve showered before, right? You can’t shower in that” I asked for a room with warm water He said maybe too many people had showered, and we could checkout at 12 instead of 11 This was a major disappointment after such a promising location and rest

Andrew Gipson

Do not let the 2 star fool you It’s a great hotel I have stayed at a lot of hotels across this country

And it’s hard to give a number one But this hotel and my experience with Shelly, is above and beyond The friendliness’s and the hospitality is above par The room was clean and even smelled nice No cleaner or chemical smells Bed felt amazing And even the other guest were seemed happy and smiling 10/10 one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at

Amelia Van Polanen

While traveling in Kentucky, my friends and I found ourself in a bind due to our previous hotel being unable to extend our stay So I had to find something available, and thankfully Guest House offered us the solution we needed While we only stayed for a day, we were treated nicely by the staff and had two fantastic rooms

I read many of the reviews prior to selecting this hotel, and most of them were good while a few were slightly alarming Some of the things I saw involved a rude desk employee, musty rooms, mold, and dirty floors-but my friends and I experienced none of this Our rooms were fantastic, especially considering how last minute of a reservation we made The tv had access to numerous channels, which made down time even more enjoyable Checking out was the easiest I’ve ever experienced too Love the horse-inspired designs of the rooms as well! All in all, a great hotel that won’t break the bank and helps any weary travelers in need of a place to park Thanks for a great stay!

Had to deal with ants the whole stay There were many times where staff told me the next day wasn’t booked and then it was after I paid Staff needs to worry about their gifts and not their puppy dogs

I was told no about a dog but the staff had dogs Made no sense to me Best part about that place was the housekeepers they really kept your room clean and the trash gone restocked towels without even asking and the breakfast I thought they had a great breakfast The hotel itself is cozy spacious rooms none of it is smoking I like that other than that they need to work on some things

THIS HOTEL IS NASTY!!! Had nasty stains on our sheets and bed skirt, bathroom FULL of mold, A/C had dirt caked on it like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, cobwebs on the walls and spiders and centipedes on the floor in our room and bathroom The staff looks extremely unprofessional This place is awful

They need to do the town a favor and bulldoze this hotel! DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Lyndsey Jane

The front desk and lobby were niceroom was actually disgusting

Im not a picky person when it comes to hotels (especially when im just traveling) but my room had black mold all over the bathroom, carpets were obviously not vacuumed (bugs, food crumbs, and toe nail clippings on the floor), had a blood stain on the comforter, walls are PAPER thin, brown stains on the walls, a loud toilet that keeps trying to refill itself without even touching it, and so many other gross stains on everything TRUST mejust go somewhere else

We came to Lexington for a short couples getaway I wanted to find a hotel that was decently priced for a king room and one that had a pool This one was my first choice, and I wasn’t disappointed

The staff was friendly and the hotel was well decorated Our room was nice (even though it was right next to the interstate) You could definitely hear the traffic outside, but we’re used to noise, so it didn’t bother us much The TV worked fine, and the king-sized bed was super comfortable Everything else was standard for a hotel room I was impressed that they had a gym and a pool We did go for a swim on our first night The pool was a bit cool, but we warmed up to it after a minute or so Breakfast was good, no complaints about it Overall, I’m very pleased with our stay here 😊

Jess Bishop

The bed was was very comfortable, the air conditioning was great, and the water pressure for the shower was wonderful All the people who worked there were just very friendly and wonderful to talk with Some one said it was a very dated Hotel

I say who cares my comfort was more important than looks I recommend this Hotel and will be back during my next visit to Lexington

George Snell

Too much highway noise!Although I had requested a King room away from the highway I was informed that all King bed rooms faced the roadIf I wanted other than a King I could get a non-roadside room we opted to stay with the King room but had no idea how loud the trucks would beRoom was clean but in need of updates

Staff was friendly

Stayed over Memorial Day weekend Very helpful staff, very large clean rooms Quiet

Room was very dark for sleeping Air conditioner did not have constant fan option, but they have a very nice alarm in the room with white noise options (you can also turn the brightness on the alarm up and down, which I appreciated) Breakfast was nothing special, but coffee was excellent Was a little worried about there being over-the-top religious material in the room, given the location, but there was nothing obnoxious Would definitely book again

In all, would recommend[PROS] The lobby is really nice, and is perfect for lounging in There’s also a non-smoking policy (200$ charge if you smoke in hotel room), so no marijuana smell like a lot of other hotels

The room itself was clean and had all the amenities that a normal hotel would have I payed 142$ for a room that could fit a family of 5-6 people The bed was super comfy as well Location was near a lot of restaurants[CONS] The room had a pull out bed my other family members were going to sleep in, but it didn’t come with extra pillows or blankets, just a really thin sheet and the bed itself Tried calling hotel service but didn’t even pick up! Ended up having to go down there and get the extra necessities Breakfast was okay, don’t get the nasty eggs though, but it’s free so go for it[Conclusion] Overall would come to hotel again, everything spotless/clean, no old furniture, hot water, and affordable considering what your getting Free pool, WiFi, free gym, free food The only big cons is the okay service, but if you needed to contact them I would just go to the front desk than waste your time calling them Location is perfect

Traveled to Lexington, KY with family members to take care of funeral arrangements and attend to matters related to the death of our brother Hyatt Place staff–front desk, breakfast crew, and housekeeping were very gracious They acknowledged our situation, expressed condolences, and made us feel comfortable using the front lobby seating areas and business center

Whatever we requested–hot water for tea, extra coffee packs for the room, fresh towels, permission to eat dinner in the “breakfast room”, glasses for use in our room–the staff cheerfully accommodated Thank you so much for being the “bright spots” during our stay

Hotel staff were all nice There was a breakfast and the room was a nice size I look for 3 things in a hotel: a pool, a breakfast, and water pressure

The pool was cold, swimable, though unpleasant for a length of time and I did not have a desire to go back The water pressure was terrible and went down periodically which makes me think it is attached to another room where someone else was showering Also, you’d better take housekeeping when you can get it because even with specifically requesting a visit they did not come Stayed for 6 days, no housekeeping Had to go down to request towels Also, the traffic noise from the freeway was very loud Will not stay again
