I have stayed at this hotel 2 times for a total of 6 nights And even over the phone the front desk attendant (Michael) remembered me, and my preference of roomRecent remodel looks great

Rooms are very clean I travel over 200 nights a year all over the country, and few chain hotels are this pleasant to deal withService is always outstanding Every employee was kind and quick I’d give them 20 stars if I could

Denise Kay

I rarely give five across the board In the wake of my experiences staying at properties throughout covid pandemic, this Best Western has a staff that truly cares about the client and the property and it’s just a pleasure to not have to walk in to a front desk as if they’re doing you a favor Best Westerns are independently owned and they put together a great staff that makes it feel homey and the rooms are the cleanest I’ve seen anywhere

This is the best way I can say thank you for your kindness Being a travel agent in my past life, back when there was no question that great customer service was a must, so many places have forgotten But they haven’t 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The good: Clean, comfortable, recently remodeledThe bad: noisy location and it is a “classic” long skinny L shaped motel configuration Good for access but not as ‘cozy’ as a one building type hotel

In other words you get what you pay for It is a 2* not a 25 or 3* categoryAlso I believe some reviews are fake because it rated 83/10 on many sites and that is fake It cannot have a higher rating of other nice hotelsin the are we stayed at So the managers bought some fake reviews as some merchants do on Amazon That is disappointing and that is what brought us here It is not worth 83/10 Maybe 7/10

First time staying hereWe had a two queen bed room Plenty of room and a mini refrigerator

The room seemed up to date to me and was in great shapeI didn’t encounter the housekeeping staff, but found our room nicely clean when we returned from our convention daysStaff throughout the facility were friendly and helpfulWe patronized the ice cream/sweets shop, Starbucks and their convenience store The prices were higher than back home, but I’ve never been to California before, so I don’t know local pricing And I know you’re paying extra for convenienceIt I return to Anaheim, I will definitely stay here again!

John Ritchie

The rooms are really nice but the beds are pretty hard The food at the restaurants was great and the beer selection was good too Nice having a Starbucks and 3 places to eat in the hotel

Not crazy over priced either The lobby level pool was small but nice We had a great time here The shuttle to Disneyland was also great We will be back for sure!

Thinh Luu

Rooms was mediocre It was clean enough but we expected better from a 4 star hotel Front desks were nice and helpful

Real Starbucks right in the Lobby which was a huge bonus We reserved a King bed but only got a Queen bed Parking is ~28 a day for self parking All pools had no life guard Shuttle to Disney was ~6 for adults and a little cheaper for kids

Thin walls, easy to hear everything going on in the hall not to mention the adjoining rooms No housekeeping unless you stay a week No extra towels unless you bring your dirty towels down to the lobby

Also the onsite “store” was empty, looked like it hadn’t ever been restocked and did not even have a cold water to purchase let alone any other beveragesSimilar to an extended stay hotel, it was a good price but that’s about the best thing I have to say I will be looking for another hotel in the area in the future

David Bradshaw

When we were moving we stayed here and it was great Nice area and quiet and was able to park the uhual here Which was free parking

They also allow dogs and we could have our dog in the room The bed was comfy and had cable tv and all was good Waking distance to some convenience stores for food and plenty of restaurants in the area This place was great and affordable in the areaWhen my mom moved down she stayed here too and loved it The little mini kitchen and stuff made it a nice stay when between places and needing to save money with cooking

Elena Aravina

Weird place Everything seems ok at first glance, but then you realize how many things are off Key cards don’t work from the first attempt, the sofa sleeper doesn’t have linens by default – you have to go to the reception again

Hard to obtain a comfortable temperature in the room I think the facility needs a refreshThe staff was friendly though

The room was beautiful The bathrooms are very nice No free breakfast

We thought the toast put out and unattended was free but after placing two pieces of toast in the toaster, a woman walked past and greeted me After a moment, she watches me grab a few items (butter and jelly), she asked if I had paid for vouchers I turned and said “no I didn’t know we needed vouchers” She then told me the “breakfast” (toast and jam) isn’t complimentary and that I could I love you for vouchers at the front I then walked away and left my toast in the toasted and I apologized for assumingMind you, there are no signs that say anything There was also no attendant while I was preparing this, it CLEARLY advertised FREE BREAKFAST all over Google and it was only TOAST so I was quite confused when I was asked to pay Either way, NO FREE BREAKFAST

Be careful that you might have to endure loud music right across the street at midnight and rude front desk if you choose to stay at this hotel The music was so loud and continued until 12:30 am I couldn’t sleep so called the front desk and asked if they know when the music would stop, the male staff suggested me to call the police about the situation because there is nothing the hotel can do about it

While I was shocked about the man’s attitude from the other side of the phone, he just hung up on me!! Very poor location and worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

Lonnie Hoggard

Hotel staff was great! Breakfast area needs help Crew working in the breakfast area needs to be trained on how to clean and interact with customers! One breakfast worker was down right rude! She complained and cursed at how much she hated the kitchen equipment and just stood around looking at the dining room area rather than walking out and cleaning up!

To be honest has been a lot since I wrote a good review for a hotel in the USA in which you receive a great value for what you pay, and this hotel is one of those Yes there is no restaurant service but there is a small kitchen inside equipped with everything needed also the clean was particularly good vs a lot of other hotels I strongly recommend if you like to cook your own food when following a specific diet

The front desk team was amazing and kind and the location of the hotel is very good, there are places to eat nearby if you like to eat something instead of cooking

Carolann Petersen

The girls at the front desk were extremely nice and very helpful I had to stay with my family due to a fire at our home and they were so nice and welcoming

especially Cynthia she was the best of the best! Your housekeepers were extremely nice as well you guys have a great team! However the male with the blonde hair was not so friendly!

halley leta-pombo

This hotel is cute and stylist I loved that the soap was liquid and dove They had some extra little perks in the rooms I loved outside of having the kitchen a desk that could also be a table and comfortable beds

Great distance from Disneyland 2 parking garages so your car is only indoors and not hot when you get inside from the sunOnly thing I would say is fix the 2nd garages door Can’t pull to open because it gets stuck

I stayed for 2 nights for the MD&M convention The location to the convention center is amazing No complaints there

The service when I arrived was very good The boy who checked me in gave me a ton of information about the hotel and what was and was not availableMy room was on the third floor so I had to tough it up and walk up three flights of stairs to get to my room Great exercise I actually did really enjoy thatWhen I got to my room it was pretty standard nothing out of the ordinary I found that it was kind of beat up and I found a wad of hair in the shower After seeing that I felt that the room wasn’t as clean as I hopedAdditionally since it’s also located close to Disney there are a ton of families that stay You are able to hear them playing in the pool all night from your room The walls are pretty thinThe free breakfast was standard but after reading some previous reviews it looks like they got rid of a lot of breakfast items after COVID They only had potato’s cereal bread muffins coffee/tea and juiceSolid place to stay if you want a great location at a decent price Otherwise I would try a different hotel on my next trip to Anaheim

Christina

Our room was clean and convenient We didn’t have any issues whatsoever The fridge was big and cold, the coffeemaker was ready to use and already plugged in and the microwave worked great

We had a standard room, but there was a AC unit in both the sitting area and bedroom They both worked really well on two hot days The bed was comfortable and both TVs worked fineThere was a good bit of noise from the hallway, but the door between the sitting area and bedroom blocked it out completely Some noise from above too Not the quietest, but I’ve experienced worse frequently at more expensive spotsStaff was helpful and nice on check-in and when I needed a refill on coffee packets and a fork when one didn’t come with the dinner we had deliveredBreakfast was underwhelming, but everything tasted decent Free parking, WiFi and breakfast made this a cost conscious, but convenient way to enjoy Disneyland for a couple of days The walk to the Toy Story parking lot is a bit longer than I’d expected when I booked a hotel that was “across the street”, but still close It took us 15-20 minutes to get from hotel to park security gatesIf I’m honest, I missed the fancy touches that you’d get at a 4 star hotel, but this was a good value for what was paid

Henry Beal

We booked our stay at the Cortona Inn through Costco Travel We had 3 nights stay while we went to the Disneyland Resorts The Hotel is a 15 minute walk to the parks which saved us a lot of money on parking

They let us park before check in so we could leave our car in their gated and secure lot while we enjoyed the parks and went back after Disneyland closed to get our room key They also let us leave our car in the lot until midnight after we checked out so we could go to the parks the same day we left and then come back to grab our vehicle These accommodations were fantastic on top of a clean room, great pool, and delicious breakfast that Sergio let us enjoy the morning we arrived, prior to check in that afternoon Sergio gave us great information about the hotel and the area, he was very helpful and friend upon our arrival I will definitely be going back the stay was top notch!

I would absolutely come back here The staff is very nice and so professional The suit we got, had a stocked kitchenette (stove, sink, microwave,fridge/freezer, dishwasher

The shower was so clean and pretty Beds were comfy and clean Had its own mini living room / office desk Since I was on the first floor My patio led straight out to the pool and basketball access They also have a communal fire pit on premises Loved my stay

Devin Walker

This hotel looks nice on the outside, but on the inside, it honestly looks very run down and filthy, compared to the more upscale and recently refreshed Marriott properties I recently stayed at before coming to this hotel at the beginning of the month The carpets in Room 215 (the room we were assigned) were stained The paint was starting to come off the walls a little too

Not only that, but the mattresses were a little too hard for our liking One of our showers was dripping all night long as well We even found a strand of hair in one of the bathrooms! The lighting in our room could have been better in my opinion as well It was so bad we went ahead and checked out the first morning of our stay and went to a different hotelThis is honestly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at in my entire life! With that said, I will never be coming back to this particular hotel again!

Joe Swantek

Suite is spacious and the main suite room has too much empty space Feels like the room could be designed more efficiently Pillows are flat

:(Location is perfect for Disneyland Only 20 minutes away and way more cost effective

Katrina Adamson

I absolutely loved staying in this hotel with my family! Guest service was well above and beyond The breakfast was amazing They had a few varieties while we were there and the fruit salad was awesome

Not your average Continental breakfast The rooms are very clean The walkway to the pool is absolutely beautiful It was close enough to the Disney parks that it was only a 10 minute drive, but it was far enough from the park that it was peaceful and more quiet We saved money with the free parking I will definitely stay here again!

CHARMAINE DAVISON

I found this hotel randomly and I’m grateful I did From the moment I interacted with Patty at the front desk (over the phone) she was very pleasant& informative When I checked in Patty greeted me with a warm smile great conversation

I rarely left my room because I needed to relax The room itself is very nice and clean the view is awesome I overlook the parking lot of the Best Buy/Wendy’s shopping center which I truly appreciate ,because not only can I see my car from my window there’s a lot of activity going on throughout the day and I appreciate that I have not left the room to enjoy it The one young lady I spoke to in housekeeping was very generous and helpfulThey do respect the Do Not Disturb placard Today was my check out ,however I needed to stay a few days longer so I phoned down at the front desk once again and got Maritza on the line Let me tell you… she was very professional ,very concerned ,very helpful and when she needed to get clarification on a matter she placed me on hold and came back with great news that I would be able to extend my stay at an even more affordable price than the other hotels I was filtering through It made me so happy to see that I can stay in the same room have a great rate and continue to enjoy the peace and tranquility and the ambience that the ALO hotel provides I highly recommend this hotel for its selection of not only professional employees but conscious concerning employees If I can give more stars I would-CA

Kristine Petersen

Loved my stay here The room was spacious and clean the staff was very friendly and accommodating The breakfast was good too nothing crazy, just scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage depending on the day

Our room was always made when we came back Which was perfect after a long day of exploring Oh and the water pressure was great 👍

Satava O’Dell

The stay was wonderful Great location Very well kept

Nice spacious room Has a large closet, fridge, microwave, sink, shower with tub Beautiful pool and hot tub Great service The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because we were put in the back of the building and there are abandon train tracks on the other side of the wall where from about 930pm until about 1am people were shooting off bottle rockets I called the office and the guy told me People do it all the time because they have nothing better to do with their lives

Michael Veinbergs

The room was nice and clean The housekeeping service did a great job It was in a convenient location

My only gripe was the breakfast It was quite bad In fact, if you choose a hotel based at all on having a free breakfast, stay elsewhere We were there 3 nights 1 morning we were served scrambled eggs with a single slice of lunch meat turkey The next day we had eggs, and 2 mini waffles with extremely stale, completely inedible cereal If you would like a danish, you will be served one half of 1 danish It was laughably stingy on the part of the hotel owner If you plan to have breakfast out, then I would certainly recommend this place

This hotel was great! Amazing value, we got a deal booking directly through their website The breakfast had lots of choices, and the coffee was even good, which saved us a ton of money We used the Anaheim Resort Transit bus to get to and from the parks, google them and download their app before going, I don’t recommend walking to Disney if you have kids who are just a little too old for strollers, they’ll be too tired by the time you get there

The room was wonderfully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the pool seemed fun (lots of people using it, but we were too busy to get over there) They have an outdoor dining area for breakfast but also it’s open the rest of the day for when you don’t want to eat takeout in your room Housekeeping wasn’t daily but I don’t think that exists at most places these days The front desk and/or housekeeping offered extra towels and amenities whenever we needed, and they have several trash cans to dump your room garbage into (we have a kid in diapers so we didn’t have to smell them) It’s near a few fast food restaurants (try the sweet cream iced coffee at Jack In The Box), as well as lots of takeout places, and TONS more to do within driving distance if you rent a car This was a great stay, and the cost made the whole trip possible

Kerry Moore

After clearing up a not-so-minor issue – going out of their way to make things right with us – we had a very nice stay @ SI&S It’s a nice property only two blocks from the Disney Parks Our two-room, two-bathroom Star Wars themed suite was nice and comfortable for two families

One room had bunk beds We felt secure during our 5-day stay There was a free hot breakfast every morning which was great! Our only complaint would be serving fried potatoes and scrambled eggs every day with no other options like bacon or sausages, etc Otherwise, this is a great stay for which you’ll pay extra over other cheaper hotels, but definitely worth it

Wendy Barron

This hotel is not my favorite because every time I would take a shower I would non stop sneeze I’m not sure if I was allergic to chemicals put in the restroom or if there’s mold in there, also there were bugs on me when I sat on the vanity chair as well as holes in the blankets and drawn on sheets in the children bunk beds also when I was barefoot on the carpet my feet turned black! Yes , they were black like if I was on cement I would NOT recommend due to the lack of cleanliness and it is near apartments and the windows are completely see through so you cannot open the curtains at all Overall do not waste your money , I recommend saving your money and getting a way better hotel for a better price

This hotel is fine

Not great, not terrible Fine Comfortable bed, clean room Decor was sparse, not as “put together” as most Holiday Inns Grounds were a bit overgrown Staff was friendly enough, and efficient Location is fine, but not great Again It’s just fine If you need a place to put your head at night, it’s less expensive than some in the area, but it’s not somewhere you’d say, “I can’t wait to go back there!”

We arrived late (10pm) with exhausted children and they told us that there was an error in the contracted price That it was not valid, that we pay 80 dollars more (with deplorable techniques such as saying that otherwise his boss deducted it from his salary) At that time we had no choice but to accept the blackmail

If there was an error they had time to have called us So if you see the hotel with a decent price, be aware that they can charge you a little more without prior notice For the rest a shabby hotel, somewhat dirty and what we would have expected for the original price, not for the actual price charged

I went through hell getting to Marriott due to the lack of due diligence of my travel accommodations The staff went above and beyond their assigned duties to ensure I was accommodated appropriately and had an enjoyable stay Not to sound cliché, but the staff truly acted as a light at the end of the tunnel from my horrid transit from point A to B to make stay a great one

PLEASE GIVE YOUR STAFF A HUGE RAISE as they have made me a fan of Marriott Hotels I will now only book with this hotel chain for future lodgings due to the great experience they had created for me

Asked twice to get the room serviced Both times we were assured that housekeeping would take care of our room Returned to room to find it untouched

Called the front desk and was told that despite a three day night stay that service was only after checkoutUnhappy Especially since we were assured of service with each request

Summary: For the price, I would not stay here again unless there wasn’t anything available around I would have rather gone to Holiday InnCons:- Cost of parking was about $36 for inside the garage

Staff did not offer other suggestions (apparently across the street was cheaper)- Breakfast was too expensive at $26 per person for a buffet I’d rather go to a restaurant and be waited on- No microwaves in rooms- Ice machine not working- No valet because “Covid”- Floor was outdated The place needs a remodel- The patio door was heavy to open Trees blocked a potential view- No laundry room- No garbage bags in trash bins This must result in extra work for the housekeeping- Water from sink does not taste good- Swimming pool was closed during the time frame it was supposed to be open- Even credit card machine was not working at check in- Internet was not greatPros:- Friendly staff- Location Gas station across the street and freeway and shopping very close by- Starbucks in lobby- Parking is secure

A huge thank you to Carolina and Katherine for their absolutely above and beyond customer service I called from Australia to arrange a surprise birthday gift for my sister who was staying as a guest Both ladies were not only professional but kind, generous and went out of their way to make my sister’s birthday special

If I could give them 100 stars I would! Thank you so much for your hospitality

The room was fantastic! The location was great! And the amenities were great as well! However, I had a not great experience with the check in staff I had booked 2 rooms on Hotel Tonight, and I thought they were both “double queen” rooms When I went to check in they only had one “double queen” available

They said the other rooms were being cleaned and that I could come back in 1-15 hrs to get it The front desk gentleman even wrote down a note I called a few hours later and they went on to tell me there were no double queens available and I feel like they didn’t work with me nor try to go any extra out of their way to see if there was some sort of compromiseOther than that, great hotel

Absolutely LOVED our stay here!! I appreciate that the whole building is enclosed with class, our room was phenomenal, and clean The pool was chilly for an evening swim but the hot tub was nice! The courtyard is absolutely beautiful The only downside of our room was that the heat would not circulate into the living space

It only stayed in the room so while the room was cozy when we stepped into the living space it would be coldBreakfast was GREAT! You make your own waffles, they have cereal, Oatmeal, toast, eggs and bacon, coffee, tea and fresh orange juice All is self-serve

Vacationed at Best Western Plus in December for Disneyland Trip and saw the good reviews and thought it would be a good choice for its price and location There was an unpleasant smell in the lobby and we thought it was just temporary but every time we went outside of the room it was still there The cleanliness of the room was good but the shower seemed a bit dirty, there was a little grime built up in the cracks in the tub

The person at the front desk mentioned that housekeeping does not come every day but will come on the seventh day Apparently when we came back down to ask about housekeeping they say housekeeping does not come at all! We had to go down to get extra towels, soap, and toilet tissue and left our trash outside for them to collect Overall Best Western was convenient but I would not stay here again

I never really write reviews but I appreciated my stay here Lots of room and no annoying checkout calls Asked for late check out for 1pm and they didn’t come to bother me immediately at 1pm either

Overall pleasant stay with a decent free breakfast Only downside was the pool being closed due to health concerns of water circulation, otherwise great bang for the buck spot here

In general we had nice short stay Yet the fire alarm in our room was out of battery and the hotel is fully occupied that there’s no room to change to, so we had to fall into sleep hearing the alarm beeping all night! Other than that, it’s a nice hotel with good price and they offer free continental breakfast! Prepare some $1 tips to the lady who’ll make your egg sausage and toast breakfast! Nice looking small pool and jacuzzi yet i had to work a bit so didn’t get to enjoy!

Best experience ever I’ve literally never been somewhere more elegant, tranquil and rewarding in my life The host are always respectful, kind and always have a 😁 The manager is a little high tempo but I can respect that you can tell they run a tight ship and that’s cool

The beds are firm but boy oh boy they are sure comfy, large TV, large bathroom We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but from my understanding is that it is open for use There’s breakfast 🥞 🍳 when we wake up and even more 😁 from the cooks and kitchen staff Love 💕 it 💯% I’ll definitely be booking a few more weeks before we head on back up Thanks to everyone here working we honestly appreciate what you do, thank you!
