Leonardo has the upmost best customer service I have ever seen from any hotel employee ever He helped us re-arrange our rooms so we were able to have a connecting room for our big family He handled himself very well when he was completely overloaded with check in and other customers needing things

This man deserves a raise All the other staff members were exceptionally polite as well

Andrew P

Had plenty of places nearby to eat and shop Most were within a short walk through a parking lot even The manager was amazing and rooms were clean and neat

Only thing I didn’t like was the towels and bedding They were clean they looked and smelled freshly washed, however were rougher than normal hotel linens in my opinion Additionally the layout in the bathroom specifically the grab bar in the shower seemed awkward for me

We had a wonderful stay at this Holiday Inn & Suites of Farmington Hills Everything was very clean and sanitary The staff was always cleaning in all areas as well as the rooms

The breakfast was hot, delicious and served by a very courteous crew We will definitely be back when we come to the Detroit area again Thank you for having an amazing group of employees who care about the guests!

OMG, where do I start

This hotel and staff are absolutely amazing Upon first walking in I was a little worried Out initial greeting was not the best but that was all We were here for 12 days The GM Ms Joanna, Ms Sasha, Matt and others in restaurant, the front desk staff as well as house keeping All of the lovely individuals working at the hotel made our stay that much better We did not have one need that went unmet Most times staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed Whenever in town this will definitely be our go to hotel Thanks IHG family

jessica bradley

The pool was so dirty that when I complained they had to close the pool No one knew who was responsible for cleaning the pool Uncleanly

No manager on site to assist with anything Even the staff member at the desk said she wouldn’t stay there It was so bad that I checked out right after checking in rather than sleeping there I WAS NOT refunded! I will not be staying at a Holiday Inn again Such a terrible experience! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Great Marriott to stay atExceptional customer service, Chelsea their general manager went above and beyond to make sure my accommodations exceeded my expectationsThank you staff, will stay here again

Qualisha Zyhier

The General Manager, Chelsea Simms was beyond unprofessional and rude I am only left to assume that her extreme disrespect was related to my ethnic name, as there was no other cause for her curt nature I called 2 days prior to check-in to cancel the first of 3 nights due to a change of schedule

She speedily said she would cancel the night but still charge me When asked to repeat, she did so evem faster and ended by calling me, “Hun” I corrected her, and asked what the cancellation policy is She told me it’s in my email repeatedly I asked to speak with her manager, to which she responded, I am the General Manager” After further prompting she said her Regional Manager was not in and that I could call the hotel to speak with him the next day She refused upon multiple requests to give me his extension and when I asked for a number to speak with someone at the corporate office, she put me on hold for 10 minutes, only to return and give me the general automated customer service lineTo make matters worse, she deleted my entire reservation and rented my room to someone else, leaving me to separate my daughter from her teammates I have been a Marriott Rewards member for over a decade and have never experienced such disgusting treatment!

I stayed at Hampton Inn Commerce Novi for 2 nights between 02/13 – 02/15 I do recommend the property for decent rooms, a very clean hotel (and I do mean that), and friendly and attentive staff (especially at the front desk) I enjoyed my stay overall and would stay there again

Why, well, they gave me a great rate, that made me happy! If you are wondering about the breakfast, it is free of course, good, but not award-winning – maybe a 7 out of 10 There is an indoor pool, business center, etc, but no restaurant (just a breakfast area) However, plenty of everything you need is close by Very centrally located For a 3-star class hotel, not bad at all Go ahead and book

I really don’t like to write bad reviews for any business but this one I had to I stayed from 24/5/22 to 28/5/221) they put us in a room that has a dirty air-filter and broken AC unit then when I asked her she told me they clean the filter for the AC unit every time they clean the room, Then she took me another room and she was surprised of how dirty the air filter was!! 2) there is rotten fries under the bad that made the room smells funky

There were also blueberries on the floor as if the second room wasn’t vacuumed or swept at all I wonder if they wipe anything down? 3) I tried to ask for help with the AC and she try to move me to a different room without assistant with my AC unit problem I would never come back I am very disappointed with their service and cleaning protocol

Cassie Schlaf

I will give this hotel 2 stars solely because the hotel staff we interacted with was friendly & the continental breakfast was ok with a decent selection Besides that, do not book a “suite,” it’s an oversized dirty room Our was a king with 2 pull out bed sofas

We walked in and instantly the room smelled damp and the carpet was sticky We tried to make the pull out sofas for the kids but we had zero licens in the room! Also the mattress were stained and old my son found a brisk bottle hiding under one The bathroom was just as terrible They only provided us with with 3 towels when we booked then room saying 5 people were staying I wouldn’t recommend staying here and we won’t be back I suggest a major update/remodel guys!!

I’ve never written a review, I’ll admit Even when I’m happy or unsatisfied with a stay I feel compelled here though bc I often make decisions based on reviews

This place was exceptional Not only was the staff very VERY friendly, the hotel itself was so clean you’d think it was brand new There is beautiful and interesting art everywhere from the halls to the rooms The pool water was warm, the breakfast was above average which was completely fine and I still can’t believe I paid under $200 for a Friday night here Even the showers have full bottles of shampoo instead of the tiny toiletries I will absolutely come again It was just such a great experience that I have to share! If you’re thinking twice on staying here, just do it It’s a fantastic hotel

Tricia Morris

I booked a total of 14 nights at this hotel (2 rooms for 5 nights; 1 room for 4 nights) Be mindful that they will not clean your room or replace towels or other supplies unless requested They charge for breakfast, and I decided to take advantage of the hot breakfast (around $14

95) on my last day prior to a long drive home The hot food barely passed for edible, and my whole group was so disappointed The location is in close proximity to local restaurants and stores, but I don’t think I’ll be returning to this hotel and did not feel the rate I paid supported the experience received

Michelle Angela

Quiet place for the most part Staff is absolutely in need of hospitality training especially Aaron and Katy However the manager Kim fixed the issue

Housekeeping is per your request only However that was not expressed to me at check in with Katy on Thursday because she was too busy on her cellphone and responded to my presence to check in as if I were being an inconvenience Saturday afternoon around 3 when I returned I found the room still dirty and called the desk to Aaron who responded to my request with “We don’t clean every day you have to request if I don’t have anyone to send to clean it anyway You can come get whatever you need” I go upstairs not five minutes later and see the girls are still on the floor So I asked one of them to call the housekeeping manager and have her call me She appeared at my door within five minutes She was courteous and kind and after explaining the situation with not servicing the rooms every day unless it’s by request, was more than willing to service the room even if she had to do it herself Kim is a keeper The housekeeping staff is great Front desk……please train them

Stayed here for a week while I moved to the area The room seemed large enough for two people, had a semi equipped kitchen which was very useful given we stayed for a week Had a nice time in the Swimming pool as the weather was too cold to do anything outside

The complimentary breakfast was also decent, enough options to fill up for a long day

Olive OConnor

This hotel is amazing because the staff is so amazing I recently stayed at the property for over a month The staff makes this place the great hotel it is

The customer service is unbelievably good, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the maintenance staff, they made my family feel comfortable, happy and made it feel like home as much as it could be I’ve traveled all around the world and stayed at many hotels I cannot reiterate how this staff is the best I’ve ever encounteredOn a side note: They we’re beginning construction when we stayed there, the construction team was not courteous or professional, this should not reflect on the hotel though

Branden Williams

When we got back to the room on the first it was definitely colder than we’d like it so we turned the heat up before going to bed During the night all 3 of my children woke up crying for to cold When I checked the thermostat the set temp was 72 and the actual temp was 63

When I called the front office the best they could do was have maintenance “check on it in a few hours when they arrive” We check out in a few hours Smh

Would give 4 or 5 stars if it were not for a couple things1) I stood in the lobby for a good 5 minutes before being able to check in as no one was at the front desk and there was no bell to ring to get an employee’s attention2) We had a room right next to a maintenance room

4x during our stay, twice in the middle of the night, waking us up, this awful noise that sounded like a hump back whale calling it’s mate alarmed us and continued for at least a minute At checkout, the employee did apologize, but didn’t seem to care that we were disturbed If you get room 218, ask for another room3) Bring your own pillow, which I normally do, but forgot You need like 6 pillows to give you any sort of support Beds were very firm We all woke up with sore backs (me, my husband, and 11yo)Otherwise, the hotel was in a nice area Secluded near some woods Updated and appealing in appearance

Kath Fowler

I’m always looking for Hotels going “Green” But don’t short change customer comforts Room was clean

Staff was friendly Bathroom had no heat/AC, no wastebasket We, just a couple, were given 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels & 2 towels Shower& each of you use your washcloth next morning you’d like to wash your face but all you have is a dirty washcloth! Dry towels & reuse them but not with a wash cloth Great staff!

Karen Lennes

The staff was helpful and friendly The lobby area was cleanThe rooms were dirty and moldy

The door of our room didn’t close fully The staff literally took a screwdriver and shoved in the doorway to readjust the hinge Said that this was a common issue in the 40 year old building The mold in the bathroom was awful — even on the ceiling above the toilet There were stains on the floor and cobwebs behind the desk Even the light on the wall was askew, as there was no screw holding on the shade The only thing keeping me from marking this a 1 is the staff They were very good

Great location and proximity to downtown Detroit Quick on and off the highway Complimentary breakfast was delicious and there was no shortage of options for all tastes

Workout facility and pool area seem to be well-maintained and clean Rooms were able to accommodate our group and had satisfactory amenities however one recommendation…The room needs better ventilation Windows cannot be cracked and the bathroom fan was not working Overall, I would recommend this location and I plan on staying there in the future

Amber Nebinger

The place exceeded our expectations The rooms are huge, very clean, and the balcony was so nice having, rarely do you get a balcony at a hotel! The staff was incredible, Tea Renee at the front desk was so helpful throughout our stay and so friendly All of the staff was great! The two free drinks a night at the bar are also a plus

We will be staying here again if we come back to the Livonia area! Loved embassy suites!

My boyfriend and I stayed herevery nice and clean We really appreciated Tea Renee! She sold us on It

She’s a front desk employee Very gregarious spirit and welcoming She gave us the inside on what to do and what to eat She treated us as if we were special guests It’s so hard to get decent customer service let lone amazing customer service I hope they promote her and give her a raise If you are ever there request for her You will not be disappointed

I stayed here since there were a lot of rooms reserved for a weekend wedding Check in was at 3PM and one of our rooms wasn’t ready until 3:40PM We had been trying to get early checking since 2PM, so I have no idea why it took 40 minutes beyond check in time

If that had been our only room, we would’ve only had 20 minutes to get readyIn one of the rooms the toilet had and extremely weak flush, and you had to hold the handle down for a long time just to get it to do anythingFor the price of the room, and the fact that it’s a Hilton, you’d think breakfast would be included, but no, it was not You could pay $8 or $15 a person depending on what you wanted, and I don’t think I’ve ever been to a hotel breakfast that was worth $8, let alone $15 I could go to a Holiday Inn for $20 less a night, and get a good, included breakfastThe only reason I didn’t give this a 1 star is because the hotel staff were all great Between dealing with all the people due to multiple weddings that day, and dealing with all the drunk people at 1AM, they did a great job

The hotel is decent enough at $146 plus tax a night but probably not more than that Originally booked one night but couldn’t get through the plymouth phone number to speak a live operator We wanted to add a night

It kept cutting the call off saying international calls were not allowed even though I phoned from Cleveland After trying three times, I ended having to speak to an agent from the Philippines with a thick accent that I had trouble understanding and then it took her about 20 minutes to add one night When she gave me a total it was $645 for the two nights Whaaaaat? You’ve gotta be kidding me Yep That’s not the price I booked at So I had to cancel the reservation and start all over again So I’m already not happy at this point I booked online but never on a travel siteSo the room is decent and it has all the amenities, is right off M14 and quiet and comfortable Free breakfast The floors were sticky in the bathroom and the bed looked like a 3rd grader made it Not bad but not great It’s nicely decorated and has plenty of features

Not the best one in the chain, but it was ok The walls are incredibly thin, so you might want to keep your voice down to maintain privacyThere was a party going on next door until at least 1:30am

I had to get out of bed and move to another room to try and get some sleepThey should change their sign for the pool hours Less than accurateThe price was reasonable for the Hilton chain, and it is within walking distance to many awesome venues for food and entertainment! The staff were all top notch Just an amazing, professional, accommodating group Loved dealing with them all! 👍👍The breakfast was adequate, and the folks there were extremely friendly and service focusedI guess I would stay there again, if the need arose

George Coghill

Safe, quiet location Well-maintained property Room-to-room soundproofing was pretty good, but some neighbor noise

Did not hear anything outside, hotel was not near any busy roads Breakfast appeared to be paid-only I used the app for check-in/out and room key, but briefly interacted with the staff and they were friendly Room was also very good rate for the quality of the stay Will look to stay here again next time I am in the area

George Hartzell

If you drink pop tops, bring your own bottle opener, Hilton can’t afford them If you like a cool room, look elsewhere Set the thermostat on 66, the closest it gets is 72-74 degrees

Rooms are dated but alright otherwiseThe staff is friendly and the location is goodWill I ever stay here again? Probably not26 June 2022I’ve contacted Hilton as requested at the address provided

When I visit my boyfriend in the summer, I always insist we stay at this hotel in Novi I’m someone with crazy high expectations for cleanliness and sanitization and so far this hotel always meets my expectations The restaurant has DELICIOUS, high end dining that we love as well as the gym

If I could change one thing it would be to add a pool!

Dr Linda

The hotel is beautiful, the conference rooms and property is clean and inviting and the rooms fabulous The staff was on point all except one!Two months ago myself and a business associate and event chairperson visited your property and was shown around by a very professional gentleman by the name of Jamal He answered our questions and was very nice

He told us the lady who we had to see was out sickWe waited and waited We left our contact information and we heard nothing Over two months we both called multiple times and left messagesMost recently I came two weeks ago and spoke with a nice young lady named Rachel I explained that we were planning several conventions and trying to secure YOUR location because it is centrally located and a beautiful venue She called Sora and said she is not answering She sent a message to her cellWe, Optimist Club, are an international organization with clubs(chapters) all over the globe We along with the hundreds of thousands of us are always looking for places for our events, most recently RenoIt is so disappointing that you have people that don’t bother return calls of reach out to entities attempting to do business with you Of course we have moved on and secured another venue One person has tanked our opinion of your location If this is the way others are being treated it is bad for business If not now later

Kaycee Brunell

My husband and I stayed for my birthday and we were able to check in early and late check out was 2pm which is AMAZING BUT you can hear EVERYTHING, on top of the fact we had 3 people knock at our door 10am, 11am, and then again at 11:30am VERY disappointed with that as we got late check out to sleep in Also a huge this was the TV was a lot nicer then we expected and what was shown in pictures

From the outside one would think that this is an old apartment complex of two buildings Don’t let that fool you Once inside, it was clean modern hotel with pleasant staff

The room was a small but very efficiently laid out suite complete with a full kitchen I would definitely stay here again It was a great value The only negative is that the sign from Fox Drive is very small and you have to be looking for it

Ron Achtenberg

The Service here was excellent The Property is dated and could use an update Breakfast had plenty of options

We unexpectedly had our 94 year old mother in law with us with a sprained ankle Although our room 108 was marked “handicapped” there was only a bathtub with one grab bar We were told only one room had a walk in shower but it was occupied during our 4 night stay On our second morning Chastity in housekeeping overheard our dilemma Apparently that room was vacated and being cleaned She went to the acting manager and assisted us with getting this room It made our stay safer for mom and us! Shoutout to Chastity for her consideration and friendliness! Front desk and management were also friendly and responded to all our requests!

Mark Elkins

The hotel was clean and in good condition The staff was friendly and helpful The location was okay, but make sure you have a vehicle to get around

However, the wifi was not working the entire time I was there (1 night) Had to call tech support myself, which was unable to help at all Also, found a used cotton swab behind the door in the bathroom, which was a turn off The hot breakfast was weak and consisted of store bought breakfast sandwiches, boiled potatoes (cubed), bagels, yogurt and some applesOverall, it was an okay stay but I wouldn’t make any effort to stay here again

I had been in this hotel multiple weeks for work and had it booked threw a weekend and went a hour north for one of the nights to visit family When I came back the next day they had went in my room that was currenly still booked in my name and threw away all my food and all the clothes I left behind plus some personal items The manager tried to compensate me by giving me a free 6$ sandwich blows my mind people still operate like this

And to top it off they fraudulently charged me 300$ for smoking in a room witch I did not obviously the hotel dose not care about your experience only your money I would neve recommend anyone to go there

Room was clean Hotel is VERY NOISY You can hear every bump and stomp It sounded like the people upstairs were bowling and stomping ants

Very irritating I didn’t like the fact my room was already selected when I arrived I think it would be wise to put guest with children on the first foor,,But I guess that’s just my logic I will not be returning

We stayed here over the weekend We did encounter some issues upon arrival and during our first night stay However, I gave them four stars because their manager was really understanding, welcoming, and made it right

Check in was delayed over an hour, we were told house keeping was behind and our room wasn’t ready, ok, no problem However, things in our room were really dusty and we found several Linens in our room had large stains on them Talked to the manager and politely explained what we were experiencing and showed him some photos of the items He was very kind to us and apologized for the inconvenience He sent the head of housekeeping up to clean the room They did a good job They changed out all the Linens and dusted He offered a discount on our first night stay for the inconvenienceAll that aside, we enjoyed the pool, it was bit chilly for an indoor heated pool, but fine overall I LOVED the lighted mirror in the bathroom, it was great for getting ready The shower had good water pressure and the beds were comfy We really liked that the hotel had liquid hand soap in the rooms, and it smelled really good I recommend putting 4 towels and wash cloths in a double bed room though Overall, our stay here was fine

Amazing hotel! Beautiful building inside and out Awesome staff, Very nice, safe area Updated, spacious rooms

They did not offer room service per our stay but had just about anything you would want or need on site A small drive from downtown Detroit but we’ll Worth it! We will definitely be back! A++ Thank you for a wonderful experience and we look forward to seeing you again soon

Friendly staff The room was very clean and comfortable There were unruly guests next door which was unfortunate but around 12:30 am I called the front desk and they took care of it

The workout facility was nice and the pool was warm The continental breakfast was just OK (food was a bit cold) but it was nice to have the option Good place for a couple night stay

And the shower is really nice too The downsides were breakfast is only from 630 to 930 am The ice machines are only on every other floor And there are no vending machines And no complimentary continental breakfast

Had a poor experience overall at this location and would not recommend it or plan to stay there againOn our arrival, we were greeted by the front desk staff, which was niceWe unloaded our bags onto the luggage cart

However, the wheel was flat, making it very difficult to pushOur room (501) was nice and clean We had asked for a quiet spot, as one of us is a light sleeper, and the room overlooks the highway Not ideal, but given rush hour backups, not too noisyThe thermostat was a little wonky, so the room would either be too warm or too coldThe shower wasn’t draining and threatening to overflow, so I peeked under the cover and noticed a pile of hair and debris (barf emoji)Bed pillows for me were old and floppy, so couldn’t get comfortableNo housekeeping came around, and when we asked, we were told it was upon request onlyOverall, very disappointed and would not recommend

Decided to stay in town for my brother’s funeral instead of having to travel back and forth My room was on the 5th floor, as we all know heat rises right? The A/C worked intermittently and would cut out during the night making it very uncomfortable, I wasn’t there much the 1st night and following day however it should work, bottom line The room had a very weird smell, couldn’t tell if it was musty or what but it wasn’t very pleasant

My son said the pool looked like someone took a deuce in it and smeared it on the walls, I didn’t investigate that one The bathroom light was tricky to figure out, I had to have the switch outside the bathroom on in order for the switch inside the bathroom to work There were staff members that would hang out and smoke right by the entrance doors on the backside of the building right underneath a sign saying the premises were smoke free and they weren’t very hospitable, not even a hello as you approached They could definitely use Gordon Ramsey to come in and update their menu in their restaurant, the coffee was bitter and gross and the menu didn’t offer much, I got up and decided to go to Big Boy for a good breakfast and coffee I appreciated the fact that they offered bereavement rates but I still paid over $300 for 2 nights The beds were comfortable too but that didn’t make up for the A/C issues I would have picked one of the other hotels in the vicinity had I known this hotel wasn’t up to par, I guess the empty parking lot should have spoke for itself
