Everything is new and works and is comfortable I’m sure that by 2030 this inn will be as tired and in need of a refresh as the Comfort Inn across the interchange, but for now it’s really nice The layout of the breakfast is really smart

They spread things out a bit, so you won’t be standing around impatiently waiting for somebody to finish The people working there were really not into that whole customer service thing, but even that did little to spoil my appreciation of the hotel

Joan Baumgartner

Stayed there two nights Our suite was quiet, clean, and updated Staff at check-in were very helpful as was the rest of the staff I spoke with during our stay

I would have appreciated a hand held shower head which is available in the handicapped accessible rooms only There is a pool but did not use so cannot comment Breakfast was basic but enough to satisfy (waffles, boiled eggs, two types of breakfast sandwiches, cereal, bagels, muffins, coffee, tea and juice) Was to be able to bring a family pet The fee $10/pet/night The only additional item to make accommodation really stand out would be a dc Charging station on-site for electric powered vehicles There is a charging station within a block but was glitchy and in the end not working For other EV users there is an alternate about 10 minutes north and east by electrify America adjacent to a Walmart Will stay again

We have been spending 4 nights there, beginning of February Nice large rooms Breakfast bar in the morning with self service

I liked the parking space that is a little more private behind the building, with access through an arch way Walking distance to restaurants and small shops in the area The hotel is pet friendly we had our little furry buddy with us It was very quite not a lot of guests Very friendly staff Can only recommend the place

Outdated and UNFRIENDLY – there are better places to stay in MadisonDo yourself a favor and look elsewhere for decent hotel accommodations in the Madison area The customer service at this hotel is the absolute worst I’ve experienced at any hotel or resort stay The staff seemed like they did not care at all about the guests, the experience, or the hotel

My request for an early arrival was never noted when I called weeks ahead due to my flight arriving earlier than anticipated check-in The agent acted like I was an inconvenience when I arrived early to check-in even though I had called weeks prior Upon check-in, I gave my personal credit card for incidentals and noted that the corporate card on file should be utilizing for room/tax/fees, etc In addition, as someone who has a severe feather/down allergy, I always call prior to my stay to ensure that my room only has hypoallergenic/polyester pillows upon my arrival I did this when I called about the early arrival weeks earlier but apparently this was also not noted I had to open up every single pillow case and cover to find the feather pillows and ensure that they were put to the side Luckily, there were enough polyester pillows to use during my stay Unluckily enough, my hands and face itched the entire evening In addition, daily housekeeping service is not the standard at this hotel and you have to call daily to request Even if you do request, like I did on Sunday evening along with pillow replacements, you do not receive housekeeping service When I called about this miss, I was met with no apology, no solution, and no emotion – just an OK and then a hang up on the phone In addition, when I mentioned the pillows for a 3rd time, an employee entered my room while my DND sign was on the door and delivered one pillow and extra pillowcases My room was in desperate need of a deep clean and my toilet actually came up off the floor and the bathroom tiles were cracked When utilizing the pool on two occasions, I noticed that children of employees were also utilizing the pool as well Once was a young boy who spent about an hour in the hot tuband since I was the only other adult in the pool area with him, I did not feel comfortable utilizing the hot tub myself and kept my distance in the space Upon check-out, my personal credit card was charged for everything when I had previously noted that the corporate card on file should be charged This took almost two days to correct from calling the hotel, then the manager, and then my bank

GREAT VALUE! Plenty of dining, shopping, trails nearby Super clean Great staff

HOWEVER it seems the locals book rooms here just to use the pool & spa and then invite their friends pool parties past midnight, SUPER LOUD, cursing, drinking – staff seemed unaware until I phoned them I could not sleep due to the rowdy shenanigans! I’m not a complainer – but I have never seen this level of rowdy before!

Overall I really enjoyed my stay I was in Madison for business This location was close to where I needed to be

The price point here is amazing The staff was extremely friendly upon checking in and checking out There is free breakfast in the mornings as well The mall is close if that is your thing I consider it to be within walking distance Not too much night life around here though I will more than likely book here again on my next stopThis Radisson has strayed me away from my Go-To (Mariott)A smart key would be nice (use my watch or phone as the room key Marriott and Hilton have this feature) I could not figure out how to navigate their mobile app

Lin An

Rooms are a bit outdated and cramped feeling but was clean Bed was comfortable Hallway noise was extremely loud

Worst part was the pool There were multiple bugs in the pool area and in the pool itself Ants, millipede and some kind of beetle Clumps of hair and ants in hot tub and jets did not work either So incredibly gross We tried to leave a couple hours after checking in but couldn’t find another hotel with availability that night Was able to cancel the rest of our reservation and stayed elsewhere The lady at the front desk was very kind and understanding

Q

Arrived at the hotel and my first experience was the above exceptional customer service The lady at the front desk was very helpful and professional The hotel has a restaurant, a pool, and a jacuzzi, which are all accomodations that I like to look for in a stay

The hotel was very clean, and smelled good My room was also very clean The breakfast was simple but had everything I was looking for, eggs, and sausage I was greeted when entering the breakfast area by a friendly hotel worker The prices are way below the other hotels in the area 10/10

Stayed one night during a road trip We’ve stayed at Tru hotels in the past and were satisfied Selected due to familiarity, cost, and availability of EV charging in the parking lot

Decent convenience of location near the highway and nearby restaurants Basic breakfast is provided, which is appreciatedThe lobby is bright and fun, including games such a billiards and shuffle puck Feels like a fun place

Timothy Tranchilla

Loved this concept Found the breakfast to be much more suitable to a 2022 palate (oats, yogurt, fruit, granola) Gym was compact but had more equipment than I’ve seen in a medium sized hotel

The rooms were nicely organized Loved that there was no carpet, but did not love that the A/C unit would not turn off, even when the thermostat was off, just blowing room temp air causing condensation and our floor to be damp We cleaned up the dampness with towels and they were stained almost black! (Floors need to be mopped regularly, especially during COVID) Found the front desk staff to be friendly and filled with helpful suggestions

Amanda Sparrow

We ended up at the Tru when our Airbnb didn’t work out It was reasonably priced, about the same as other hotels nearby But it is a lot nicer because, ya know, it’s Hilton

Justin was extremely helpful in getting us a room and accommodating our pets That’s one thing I really like was how many dogs were staying at the hotel and the staff didn’t seem to view them as an inconvenience Everything was aesthetic and clean No carpet in the rooms !! Yes please Would come back and definitely recommend The pleasant experience really did begin with Justin, he understands guest perception he was interactive and competent and you can really tell he knows the ins and outs of his job Everything that followed was just as good as our first few moments in the hotel

The parking lot was full and the breakfast area was bustling So the good reviews are for real People love to stay here and love the cook to order breakfast! Bed was comfortable which is a priority for us! The soaking tub was nice, larger and deeper than normal bathtubs

Room was clean, smelled fresh Service desk staff were friendly on checkin Everything in our stay was great No complaints

Sutter Properties

Decided to change the review since except for the front desk manager, Jennifer Carter, rest of the FD and breakfast staff were very nice Rooms are clean and spacious Ready to make breakfast was great

I would have given 4 stars if the FD manager accommodated any my requests First I called to check-in early and she flat out refused even though 50% of the hotel was empty Then I had to call repeatedly to have room service, but she would not accommodate Other FD staff were nice though and courteous

Zach Blenkinsopp

Wonderful hotel breakfast!I had a great stay and a special shout-out to Antonio and Steve! Antonio was super friendly and a great cook He made it seem like I was coming into a cool little breakfast spot Steve checked me in and was super helpful during my stay

Let me start off by saying, this is a really nice hotel, in a really great location It was in walking distance to many great restaurants and being able to walk right out and be at the water/terrace was very peaceful My room was clean, but the bed was as hard as rocks

It felt like sleeping on a box frame I spent 4 nights here and needless to say my body was over it by check out I think adding new mattresses would be a great touch Especially since that’s the main reason people come back to the hotel is for a good nights restBut the staff were super nice and accommodating It’s really just the comfort piece that knocked off stars

Paul Skillman

Good reviews must be fake The only good things were location and the lobby is ok looking No housekeeping during stay

Complacent Front desk staff gave me false advice sending me way out of my way (just tell me you don’t know if you don’t know) No room service available Sub-grade beds and entire place needs an update Restaurant not open past 10pm and no convenient food options after hrs 20/day parking We paid a extra for this hotel and did not expect anything extraordinary But this lacking on a basic level I hope this is not the new norm as I’d expect more out of most budget roadside hotels

Zak

I stayed at this hotel for two nights for a friend’s wedding It wasn’t a bad experience, and it wasn’t a good experience, just okay It was extremely convenient that this hotel was connected to the wedding venue overlooking Lake Monona, but that was the main bright spot

The beds weren’t too comfortable, the towels were extremely rough and felt like they’ve been used for years, some of the staff did not really know what they were doing at the front desk, and the breakfast spot onside the hotel was a rip off; they charge $15 per person to eat at their buffet, but they were regularly out of food, coffee, and hot water for tea (I had to ask to get them refilled) The food was mediocre at best Do yourself a favor and spend $15 at a restaurant in downtown Madison where you’ll get your money’s worth

Overall a great stay! The staff were all excellent! Very convenient to Epic campus for training and the daily shuttle was great! Only slight downside is that the hotel is older and starting to feel a little outdated The carpet in my room had definitely seen it’s better days Also, my room was not the cleanest when I arrived

There were a few pieces of trash in the room (under a chair, beside a nightstand) and the carpet had something sticky on it (in front of the couch) Maybe just a more thorough cleaning between guests would be nice I arrived super late and the issues weren’t big enough to warrant any major attention Just wanted them to be known for future reference

Khoi Nguyen

The hotel seemed to be old and outdated The front desk staffs were friendly but depending on who was working at the time The breakfast in the morning was alright, a little bit above average

The positive thing about this hotel is it provides the shuttle to pick people from and to the airport If you don’t have a rental vehicle, this hotel may not be a good location if you want to do some sight seeing at Madison, WI

The manager was very friendly and helpful The room was super clean and comfortable The pool and hot tub are awesome

Breakfast was good Our room was nice and quiet The manager recommended an excellent restaurant just down the road, “Toby’s SupperClub” We ate there two nights, it was amazing The hotel was a little off the beaten path, but still close to everything We would definitely stay at this hotel again, and highly recommend it!

B T

The road to it is a bit bumpyThe staff were friendly Kathy at the front desk was exceptional!People complaining about no bathtubs? I would never take a bath in a hotel! 🤮 No cash for payment? I don’t know of a hotel that will take it without a credit card for incidentals

I found the room to be very quietThe owner was on site a lot and friendly as wellIf convenient to where I wanted to be I would definitely stay here again

Kevin Petges

My family and I stayed 1 night for a wedding The hotel allowed us to check in early by 2 hours I called previously that morning and asked if they had baby beds and they informed me that they have pack and plays

I told them I would like to reserve one for our stay and they said they would put it down for our stay When we arrived I let them know about the pack and play and they said they were out and they don’t do reservations on pack and plays Luckily, they had one left that was slightly broken but it worked The room overall was just fine and the beds were comfortable The pool area is great and 8ncludes some water features like basketball hoops and waterfall features, the kids loved itThe one downside is that I called the front desk to reserve a late checkout at noon because our 1 year old was still napping They said that would be fine A few minutes after 11 am, the housekeeping staff knocked once and then keyed into the room and turned on the light, thus ending nap time for our son They also seemed to have turned the room key off at our original checkout time

I arrived late at night, the front desk lady was awake, and was so nice We had the best conversation while i was checking in The decor in the hotel was beautiful, the lobby, elevator, and the hallways were extremely clean for being late at night

Our room was clean, the bed was so comfortable We overslept and unlike a lot of the upscale places we have stayed they were so accommodating by offering us a later check out instead of rushing us to get out of the room Breakfast was good as well The pool and hot tub was amazing Can’t say enough great things about out experience Will definitely stay here again on our next trip

Randall Grady

Very clean place The staff was courteous and professional The pool and hot tub area was clean

We arrived fairly late in the evening and there were only a few towels left poolside I requested a couple extra and planned on taking them back with me The gentleman working the front desk a Asked me to go enjoy the pool and that he would bring them to us right away It wasn’t more than a couple minutes and he had them delivered I would definitely stay there again!

Joanne Genevka

I picked this hotel for a single night in Madison for my husband and myself Check in was easy and the people working the desk were friendly! However when we went up to our room someone was already in there So we went back down to get a different room

It wasn’t that big of a deal to us, but they(manager and clerk) were apologetic and quickly gave us a different room on the same floor, so we went back upstairs to that room, but that room had been used and hadn’t been cleaned, so we trekked back down the elevator to the front desk and told them about the latest room The manager ended up putting us in the biggest room they had(2 king size beds) and also gave us a discount on the room we had originally requested The new room was clean and well litThe beds were very comfortable, and the hot tub and pool were relaxing and clean! Thanks for a great stay!

Sometimes my expectations when I travel are not real high We booked our stay 2 hours away not expecting much more than a clean room and bed The location was a bit rough looking

The staff was super friendly and helpful We came in a little after happy hour and they let participate We were concerned about our room when we first entered it smelled like pot, and the window was partially open Don’t know what the issue was but it cleared out quick enough The room was clean and the bed was comfortable They were really busy so the hotel as a whole was noisy but understandable Breakfast was my one surprise! Great hot breakfast with lots of choices and the food was delicious Need a good overnight look no further

Jen Romero-Stentella

Hotel is good for a one night stay, it is an older hotel but it is very clean and comfortable in the sense that it has all one needs The staff is friendly and the check in process was simple Daily there is a Happy Hour from 5-7pm of Free Wine and Beer for guests only

There’s a complimentary buffet breakfast and it has a good variety of choices My child did take advantage of the indoor swimming pool which is open until 10pm nightly for children and then there’s an adult only time from 10p-12am I do recommend this hotel for one night maybe even two nights, don’t expect a 5 star hotel because it’s not, but the service is definitely 5 stars

thomas walsh

My brother Tony and I, had a wonderful stay here The rooms was exceptionally well taking care of The breakfast fantastic

If you drink, they have the managers meet & greet with free wine and beer & snacks to socialize with your fellow travelers The staff and managers was some of the best customer relations I have seen in a whileThe closest has plenty of room with real hangers for your cloths, extra pillows without asking Just a wonderful place, a hidden jem when you need a getaway from the stress of life If you enjoy Mexican food like I do, the restaurant and grocery store less than 500 feet from the hotel has the best food, and grocery store next door, with authentic Mexican food, without the high costMarriott Hotels and suites can learn a lot from this very friendly staff

I will coming back just for the people who work there room clean a lot of space But they offer pool and jacuzzy omg I believe nobody clean those You should not offer them and close it at all We left a pair of socks and we find them the next day with all the towels from the day before I will leave some pictures here and you can tell if is just me o this side of the hotel must to be close please take a look

Ron Richer

Hotel Staff were friendly and responsive, the room was clean, pots, pans, and dishes were there and clean BUT I was told that there would be hot breakfasts again in time for our stay and there wasn’t When I complained, the desk guy said that they did have hot food on Special Days – like on Wednesdays

I felt that I had been cheated

Brandon Recknagel

Rooms are pretty good But there’s NO HOT FOOD FOR BREAKFAST

I’m here during Midwest Horse Fair, an event that brings in about 35,000 people a year for the weekend The Queen size bed feels smaller than usual to me And I swear the pillows are 3/4 their normal size I try to give companies the BOTD when it comes to the whole COVID “we can’t find employees” thing, but the cold food only for breakfast really irks me There is an employee stocking the fridge with milk, bringing out bananas and oranges Throw a big bag of premade scrambled eggs into a warmer Your guests will appreciate it I know where we wont be staying next year for Midwest Horse Fair

The room was immaculate! I was surprised at how large the room was with the thick privacy curtain between the bed and the couch pull-out – complete with a mini kitchen with a fridge, sink, dishwasher, and microwave For the business traveler, there was a multi-layered desk to use, and the TV was largeThere is a restaurant within walking distance and other shopping if you need to pick up something quick

The breakfast was amazing and I was happy to see fresh oatmeal, the small omlettes, a good selection of yogurt, and other items Elisa was so very helpful at breakfast, friendly, and very interested whether we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed I would DEFINITELY stay here again without hesitation

bunni’s creations

I don’t like the city so that’s why I gave it a 4 star on location, but that’s not against the hotel really I didn’t stay here, I visited my grandpa and I’ve got to say it was stunning The lobby was very clean and the lady that work at the registers/computers was really nice and had a nice welcoming feeling when she greeted me

I don’t know her name but this place is awesome and I love that it was by a starbucks!

Erin Maines

My mom and I stayed here while I was transitioning to the area for work and waiting for my rental I had my cat and he really enjoyed being on top of the cabinets in the rooms! 😆 The rooms were clean, with everything needed for a long-term stay and options to get an induction burner, etc if desired Breakfast options were reasonable and made waking up early a bit easier

I never had an issue finding a parking spotThe shared spaces were constantly cared for and lots of places to sit, charge your devices, and work A nice little kiosk was set up with a printer/scanner which I made use of a few times as I only had a laptop with me The Wi-Fi was more than sufficient for all my needs I didn’t avail myself of the pool or gym as the Cross-Fit games were going on at the same time and were in use often, but I saw them being sanitized frequently In addition, the laundry facilities were very convenientAll the folks at the front desk and the folks providing housekeeping services were friendly, approachable, and willing to assist in any way possible The location right off the Beltline makes it quick to get anywhere you need to go, with the caveat of rush hour traffic being factored in If you’re looking for a great pet-friendly place for a long-term stay, you won’t be disappointed with Home2 I will definitely be recommending to visitors

My dog was being treated for cancer at UW – Madison from April until last week when she lost her battle We had six stays at this hotel during that time, all of which were consistently wonderfulThe rooms are large and clean, beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has a full sized fridge, which came in handy during some of our longer stays

Sometimes I had to stay here by myself, and it says a lot about both the hotel and the area that I felt safe to do so as a female traveling alone with a dog with mobility issues Breakfast was the typical continental fare, but that is all I neededThe staff here exceeds expectations, and truly could not have been nicer to me Jim is a standout in particular, as he always does the extra mile A couple of my stays were of an indefinite length of time at booking, and the staff was so easy and flexible at working with me to extend those stays when neededMy dog did not always stay with me on these trips (as sometimes she was in hospital), but when she did, there was plenty of convenient, well manicured access to grass outside the hotel, as well as pet waste stations around the perimeter of the hotel For non pet people, there was no dog smell or fur anywhere A lot of pet friendly hotels are a bit dingy – not this oneThis hotel is truly the five star hotel of three star hotels I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality, cleanliness, and dependability through a really difficult time

Service was kind and professional Our king suite was clean and comfortable The breakfast was really so awful though

Everything was so artificial and powdered tasting Absolutely inedible I couldn’t even make a toasted bagel taste good But for a clean and affordable stay It was a great value Just don’t rely on your complimentary breakfast
