For 3 days in a row, we requested housekeeping to clean our room, refresh our towels, and restock our coffee Today, I even requested it twice It never happened

They are nice enough, but nothing ever gets done However, the a/c works, and the breakfast bar is tolerable Their website says they have laundryfacilities Kind of The dryer is broken This is not worth the money I can’t recommend this hotel

John Hagler

We were there 3 weeks When we pulled up to the front we were met by several people smoking at the front door, to include employees Check in was ok, the front desk acted like I was a inconvenience

The lobby and downstairs was dirty, the elevator was dirty, and our room was wasn’t that clean either The following morning there were cleaning ladies playing on the phones or talking to their baby daddy, not doing their job There was also other employees walking around, not in uniform, the only way I knew they worked there was because they were doing something like half-heartedly wiping the front door This was by far the worst IHG Hotel I’ve stay at I was very disappointed and won’t be staying there again

Jane Sigler

The staff was wonderful and tried to be accommodating which is amazing considering how under staffed they were The breakfast buffet was excellent We did encounter a few issues

No Handicapp stalls in the ladies room on the main floor, air conditioner in our room did not work It was replaced with a new unit a few hours later; clogged toilet, they had to use a Plunger to fix (40 minutes later), I booked my room 6 weeks in advanced with a request for a king room with roll in shower which was confirmed Upon my arrival was informed there were given out earlier Why bother booking special requests if they are not honored We did have a walk in shower, no hand held shower head shower head and no bench to sit on Very painful trying to stand to shower Very disappointing

Jessica Glancy

I stayed here for a conference June of 2022 The staff at the front desk was super helpful and friendly My room was clean and comfortable

My only complaint is about the air conditioner in my room It ran constantly, and it was loud To get it to turn off I would turn the temperature up on the thermostat This shut the unit off, but it wouldn’t be long until the room would get humid and the air needed to be turned on The overall stay was great and I would stay here again

Alycia Alvarez

Always a great stay We’ve stayed twice with our baseball team The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly & the beds are comfortable

The location isn’t my favorite & I always have trouble with the gate in the parking lot but I will continue to stay here when we’re playing ball in Orlando The kids always enjoy the pool & hot tub & there is a restaurant & bar right down stairs, which is super convient

Staff was extremely friendly!! I had an upper corner room and it was very quiet Room was spacious and clean The breakfast and happy hour made leaving and coming from work easier

Hotel was busy with many visiting for universal and they did a great job maintaining all areas keeping it very clean I was there for 5 days and I would definitely stay again Thank you!

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any stay This website will compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is the best rated in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be disappointedI know this is not as fancy as Universal Resorts However, my family really appreciate the price tag and tremendous offers by the hotel They offer you morning & dinner meals, free soda, 6pm popcorn, free booze, free parking, and shuttle bus to Universal We stayed 5 nights for Universal Orlando, which was one of the busiest times in a year, the spring break We were tired already at 4pm and decided to go back to hotel by the shuttle Then there was yummy food ready for us in the hotel After regained energy, we drove back to the park again for free parking after 6pm and had a wonderful night with much less time to wait It is all great experience, the best we felt among all was the kindness of front desk

Breakfast was legit Front desk was very helpfulI hope the guests can help keep this hotel as clean as it is (just pick up after yourself and your children!) and it remains this nice in the future

Amber Walker

Great affordable and modern hotel with many connection ports for phones and electronics Perfect for business or vacation trips Breakfast was delicious, especially the veggies omelettes

Lobby is colorful and welcoming and has many fun little games to pass the time with your group and comfortabke seating Many convenience items are available 24/7However, the digital key does not work to get back inside the door in the pool area The pool is very cold and usually in the shade which is something to keep in mind There is no hot tub at this location

S Adams

Staff was friendly and accommodating Rather new hotel so it was pretty clean The elevators have a key card or phone entry for use, so that was a nice added security feature

Breakfast was plenty in the mornings which was a plus Only thing could have made the visit better was if there were adequate towels in the room; however, the towels were available upon request

Selepri Amachree

Love the “comfort” factor in this place!! My favorite hotel was booked and I needed a reservation for work Homewood Suites popped into my search for the area and they had vacancy within the time parameters I needed I was kinda forced into booking here

BUT I’M NOT DISAPPOINTED! that’s the pleasant surprise that, so far, has turned into a pleasant experience ❤️ By the way, this place offers a cool soup, salad, and beer/wine social event every night around 5pm!!!👊😎👌

Anna-Marie Mitchell

This time around I was here for 5 weeks Furniture is getting worn down Bed is the old coil style

Weekday housekeeping crew did ok The weekend crew did great! They would wash my dishes (1 -2 items) Also scolded lap blanket and put awayThe breakfast crew is not professional Standing out in the breakfast area talking on cell phones oblivious to guests around Guest had to walk around her (This happened several days) Food not being ready on time, and supplies not stockedThe only other issue – ants in bathroom and bathroom sink area They treated 4 times first 2 weeks with no improvement Friends staying in other rooms with the same issueWould I stay here again yes, close to work and only place in area with kitchens

Jillian Perez

Loved this place It was clean had perfect space and the bed was comfortable Had a great view of the Icon aka Orlando eye

The lobby was very welcoming and the check in process was very quick and easy The staff was great Close to a lot of shops Would definitely stay here again Oh and it’s great for a quick get away, vacation or family

Paris Burbidge

Front desk staff was great, so friendly! I read through the reviews prior to booking so I was aware of it being dated, etc but the big disappointment was that our room was dirty There was leftover candy from the previous guest on the floor and a huge pepperoni stuck in some cheese under the desk- we never had pizza during our stay The rooms were comfortable enough and simple

The restaurant in the hotel is worth skipping altogether Pricey for fine food The morning we left I ordered my kids breakfast at about 8AM I called 3 different times to check on it, finally they said they were on their way up At 10AM, we finally just checked out so we could go get something to eat Quite a disappointing note to end on

This place is truly amazing We have been staying here for quite some time and wanted to wait to review this place until after a few visits When we first arrive, we are always greeting by a friendly, courteous staff member

On this particular visit, Tonya took care of us at the front desk She was extremely polite and very professional and had us in our room within 5 minutes This place is always spotless and beautiful Their breakfast in my humble opinion is 5 star It’s not one of those cheap breakfast buffets It has everything on it and it’s FREE Yes FREE When we got to our room, it was ready for us and spotless each and every time we have stayed here The location is very convenient to everything around Also have to give a shout-out to Alyssa She always makes my reservations for me whenever I need anything at all Overall I would extremely highly recommend this property for your next visit to the Orlando area

Martha Solis-Enriquez

I highly recommend this hotel! Our three day stay at the Hampton Inn Orlando was very enjoyable! Very close to the parks! Great location! The staff was amazing! The hotel manager Zero and Anna at the front desk answered all of my questions and concerns I had during my stay The morning staff who attended during breakfast hours in the dinning area were very attentive making sure breakfast was ready and available during breakfast hours!!! I will plan on staying here again when visiting Orlando! See you soon!

Kathleen Cabral

We had an excellent stay! Alexandre checked us in and out, and was so friendly and accommodating We were there early hoping to get checked in so we could quickly head over to see my grandaughter compete in the college national dance championship at the convention center Our room wasn’t ready, but he quickly found us another one so we could get checked in quickly

Room was extremely clean and bed comfortable Breakfast was good with plenty of options Had a wonderful stay this weekend and would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the Orlando area Alexander even sent my husband and I on our way home after checking out this morning with completely water bottles and a snack for our ride home 😊

Our stay was pretty good We stayed for a 6 days and they came and cleaned half way through our stay which was perfect timing The rooms are good sized and the location is perfect

I only have a few complaints there isn’t any vending, the furniture is a little dirty and the restaurant isn’t open all the time and they don’t offer everything listed on the Starbucks menu There also should be more towels in the family 2 bedrooms Other then that our stay was good

ToxSic Dream (ToxSic)

Had an Amazing stay at the point over the July 8th Weekend I spent my Days at Universal and it was nice to come back to rest and relax at The Point Had a nice 9 story view from my balcony

Also Enjoyed the layout of my room, Small but quaint and all I needed to enjoy my stay I highly recommend staying here PS Bathrooms are spacious and Very Relaxing to unwind in after a Long day in the Florida heat

James Ryan

Disappointing best describes The Point Hotel We arrived after the check-in time, but our room still wasn’t ready We were told we would receive a text when the room was ready, but we never did

When we finally made it to the room hours after the check-in time, we were impressed with the size of the suite, but otherwise disappointed It had not been cleaned well There was soup scum in the shower and tub and dirty floors Our kids immediately noticed how dirty their feet got just from walking on the carpetThe appliances are dated, seemingly 20 years old, as were the TV’s The picture quality and channel selection was a throwback to the 90’s The refrigerator barely worked The furniture was worn The cook ware and dish ware was minimal, making it very difficult to prepare meals There was a pull out bed, but no sheets or blanket The bedding we did have was very low quality, reminiscent of a Motel 6The staff was not at all welcoming and uniformly seemed annoyed by their job Literally every staff member we interacted with seemed like they hated being there They weren’t necessarily rude, just dismissive and seemingly annoyedOverall, the stay was very disappointing and not at all what we expected based on the online photos and other reviews If you are looking for a place to stay in Orlando, our suggestion is to keep looking There are so many other options that will not disappoint

I’m uncertain how this hotel has a four star review

I suppose my experience could be out of the ordinary, but it’s hard to believe we’re the only ones to have an unpleasant stay I booked this hotel because of its score, price and location The one and only thing it has going for it is it’s location It is very close to Universal Studios Unfortunately, for us, that is the only thing we liked about the hotel We found our room to be pretty run down The toilet ran and the shower leaked all day and night The sink was crack, as was the threshold passing into the bathroom The water temperature fluctuated pretty dramatically while showering The walls are paper thin and we could easily hear the neighbors next to us as well as the kids running around above us We heard doors slamming all day and night This made it difficult to get a decent nights rest, which is all we really wanted from the hotel Room service didn’t actually refresh the room each day They only grabbed the old towels and left a new stack on the counter

Mark Novatka

I have been staying at this Best Western for the last several years when I have the opportunity It may be an older property, but it is very well taken care of The rooms are very clean, and up to date

They even take the time to make characters out of your towels That shows that they care Disney properties used to do this but know they want to offer you a discount not to clean your room At this hotel from the time you check in until the time you leave they care about your stay Great job to the entire staff

Cara hollingsworth

I had reservations at a motel around the corner and the accommodations were terrible Decided not to stay there, drove around the corner to the Best Western and Emmanuel gave me the same price for a room that I found online He even upgraded us to a VIP room with an amazing view

The room was beautiful, clean, fully stocked with everything we needed The staff was amazing and helpful Will definitely be going back and staying here when we are in the are again!

We booked the hotel for our last 3 vacation days, and we really enjoyed it The rooms (double queen one) have enough space for up to 4 people Everything looked well decorated and was in a good condition

The staff is super friendly and they are helpful The pool is clean and you’ll also find a hot tub, which is pretty cool by the wayOne more thing: They offer you a GREAT breakfast buffet with a good variety of food

I recently stayed at this hotel and everything was as expected, clean sheets and room, comfy beds, good breakfast Excellent location, 2 miles away Universal! I would like to address I forgot in the safe some valuables and noticed about it a day after my checkout I was already in Miami when I called and the staff was very attentive and cordial

They confirmed they kept the items with them and I manage to send someone to pick them up Thank you Holiday Inn! Thank you to Roland and Maria for the great customer service!!!

WHAT happened to this hotel We were here a year ago From then to now it is ran down, terrible rooms, cracked ceilings, tubs clearly getting water behind the panels, wall patches everywhere, paint very poor job, no light in the suit areas, looks dirty, not taken care of

Then wasn’t told the elevators were to be worked on while we stayed here prior to paying I found a note by my room door on the floor explaining about elevators They took payment without giving the opportunity to make a choice if I wanted to stay after I was told elevators getting worked on one will be working while being worked on or you can use the stairs Not certain I want to ride an elevator while repairs are being made 😳Stairs are not an option for me due to medical reasonAlso didn’t notice until this morning there are grease spots on the headboard maybe from lotion or baby oil Not from us It’s so dark in this room you can’t see The sun is shining bright this morning Stuns on furniture Very unacceptableSome lights not working

Jon Richardson

The hotel itself is very nice, and the location is great The issue is that despite the price advertised for the room, and the front desk’s assurance that the price charged is in fact the final price, they’ll charge your card 3 days after you leave for additional “services” that you the customer cannot opt out of For example, when you arrive at the hotel, they prevent you from parking your own vehicle and require that you enroll in their mandatory valet service

That “service” charges your card $55 for each time they take your vehicle and park it in an unknown location and thereafter bring it back to the front The front desk represented to us that the advertised price online that was paid in full prior to our stay was the final price The valet themselves confirmed that Nevertheless, 72 hours after we checked out, they start making additional credit card charges It’s dishonest and scummy and any potential customers should be aware of the additional fees that this hotel is more than happy to hide and then charge for Won’t be staying there again

Darren Kirby

Four star hotel, but limited parking New hotel in downtown Orlando The hotel itself is nice and brand new

Would be hard pressed to find anything better in its price range However, it doesn’t really have its own parking They are cramming cars into some free space behind the hotel, and using a valet service to do that (at $26 or $28? a night) No self parking available at the hotel The valet has room to accommodate maybe 40 cars for a 200 room hotel? The rest are parked in nearby garages and spaces, adding to the time it may take to retrieve your car when they are busy This is reflective of the increasing issue with parking availability/pricing in downtown Orlando Not sure if this hotel will continue to be a selection for me

Helene Caseltine

The hotel is in a convenient downtown location The room was fine, very clean & quiet The bartender was very friendly

However, the food for dinner was awful! Who knew you can ruin a grilled cheese sandwich?? It was not the “4-Cheese Grilled Cheese on Sourdough”, but more a slice of American cheese slapped on a piece of white bread – for $12! (fries were good, tho)Plus, I thought I read that the hotel offered a complimentary “Continental Breakfast” – it was not You order off a menu with nothing complimentary for breakfast oh well, it was only one night!

Let me start by saying I have always been a loyal Hilton property guest My family and I love the Hampton inns however after this experience, I will never stay at any Hilton property again My 3 kids and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights

On the fourth day of our stay we were at Magic Kingdom We came back to take a break before heading back out to go to the fireworks and catch a couple more rides While we were out I had a large amount of cash stolen The cash was not out in the open It was in a box buried in my bag Someone had to have rummaged through my things to get to it and took it all except the change and gift and credit cards This was our food money, play money and souvenir money Not only did we not get to go back to the park because I had to file a police report and wait for her to get fingerprints off our items I’m out all of our food/fun money Kelly who works at the front desk I have to say was extremely nice and empathetic which I appreciated but the manager Issac didn’t want to accept any wrong doing in the Properties part He told me the only person in the room had been there two months and was fully cooperative and denied any wrong doing He also told me the cameras they have in the hallways do not work He insinuated that I was lying Then got angry when I started to cry and accused me of being hostile and attacking him Issac could definitely benefit on some costumer service skills and how to treat others when they are being victimized and are nervous and scared He was extremely unprofessional and very condescending He also said I should have had travelers insurance Also to add to this the rooms upon arrival were not up to Hampton standards for being clean Dissatisfied, disappointed and angered to say the least!

This hotel was by far one of the best Ive stayed at in years From the time I walk through the door until i reached my room The decor was modern and elegant The room actually had a warm comfortable blanket

Not cheap thin sheets The TV was large and made us feel right at home The room was clean and comfortable They had an breakfast spread any hotel would be proud of The staff was helpful and pleasant

Cory, Val, and Sarah, the morning manager, had wonderful customer service! They were helpful, cheerful, and just overall made us feel at home The rooms were very nice, the beds are super comfortable, and everything was clean and prepared The lemon and orange infused water available 24/7 in the lobby was absolutely delicious

Comfort Inn’s are my go to hotel This one was booked very last minute and for the location the price was beyond reasonable ($91 after tax)The staff was TOP NOTCH

The rooms need upgrading, but it was clean and the bed was decent for a nights sleepBreakfast was yummy, I loved the choice of Mickey waffles We are definitely in Orlando ☺️ they were out of OJ, but apple juice was a fine substituteAll in all not a bad place If your coming to the area to visit Universal you aren’t in your room much anyway It’s a good location and good price in my opinion

First time visiting Florida and I went to Quality Inn on international drive and the hotel was absolutely disgusting I was there for 30 minutes and then I found Comfort Inn was such an upgrade for sure! My room was cleaned when I arrived so housekeeping staff & housekeeping inspector did an amazing job cleaning & checking the room to ensure it’s up the the standard for their guests I used to be a housekeeping inspector so I know everything I’m looking for in terms of a cleaning check I was very pleased our room was clean! Staff was really nice & there’s also lots of shops to walk to and explore around

Will definitely be staying here next time I come back!

we had problems at this hotel the first thing was I reserved a handicap room and we were offered a standard room not only that but it was at the end of a very long hallway

the second room we moved into was much closer, but the air conditioning did not work and it smelled like a wet dog finally the third room that we moved into was decent but we only stayed there one night probably won’t be back for a return visit

The room smells a little musty and it is clear that the interior is very old For this area being such a tourist hub, it shoukd be more modern and better keptIt is clean and the staff is friendly but not overly helpful

I am staying for work so really just need a place to sleep The bed is firm and the pillows are garbage I’m glad I brought my own

Great hotel with friendly front desk staff We arrived very early and were able to store our luggage until it was time for check in We weren’t driving and after a long day at the parks we checked in and asked for a room close to the lobby as we were quite exhausted

The sweet front desk lady set us up in a room close by Our room was actually very pleasant compared to other rooms I’ve stayed in the area The beds are extremely comfortable and we were able to sleep all through the night No noise issues, the bathroom was kept nicely and the bed sheets were clean with enough pillows Very happy with my stay

Rachael Ledbrook

We have stayed at this hotel many times without issue The location and free parking are great however everything else wasn’tIn our past visits we never had any issues and had a favourite room we request

The staff are always accomodating with this but when we got there it was very dirty There was litter outside of the room, hairs and sweet wrappers in the drawers and random stains on the walls and floors The rooms are really dated now and really need a refreshOn the first night we arrived it was a Saturday and we are in a room near to I drive A new restaurant has opened over the road and plays extremely loud music until 3amWe called reception who didn’t even know what we were talking about and said we couldn’t move as the hotel was full The next day we asked reception if we could move and they said they had lots of roomsWe moved and things were OK for a few days however guests decided standing and drinking and talking in front of rooms until 3am was a good idea so again no sleep We ended up staying elsewhere after this and will not be going back

Shari Macisaac

When I have arrived to this place, I thought nice quite and decent As I started to browse the room being a hotel housekeeper supervisor myself I found blood on bathroom walls bath mat had black mold on it by the big window was a cob web I told front desk they said I’ll tell house keeping and after Disney I came back no nothing changed

Security was awesome always smiling front desk could have been more friendly Only good thing about my stay was location
