One of the best hotel in downtown Very clean hotel with better facilities in room I booked room with kitchen

Normally my experience is I will have only kitchen but surprisingly hotel has provided all utensils The hotel doesn’t provide free parking which is one downside but otherwise all places are nearby Really good place for family stay

heidi

Great area to walk around and explore the area The staff were so great and the room was phenomenal I really appreciated that they put us at the end of the hallway

We had our two young boys and dog I always feel so bad when they are loud The double queen room was on the outerwall so it was a lot less stressful trying to keep them quiet

Trent Nelson

We arrive at 4 PM which is “check in” time, our room is not ready until after 5 P

M I am not sure what they were doing with that extra time because they were not cleaning our room, because our room was disgustingly dirty Next the air conditioner did not work in our room, so I let them know at the desk, and naturally they cant get ahold of maintenance, and they assure us that it will get fixed first thing in the morning If you guessed that it did not get fixed the next day, or at all for our 2 night stay, you would be correct

The room was clean, staff was very friendly, and breakfast was delicious We really appreciated the snack bag and water provided at check in This hotel has a cool/modern vibe with lots of common space if you want to get out of your room

We didn’t use the pool or fitness center but they looked great and the coffee shop across the street was perfect Would stay here again

Denise Allen

The service was excellent The room was very clean and there was no carpet in my room I love that, it feels so much cleaner and better especially if you have allergies

The TV had a welcome with my name, nice touch 🙂The breakfast was great Everything you expect, pancakes, waffles, eggs, ect Staff was always out cleaning up and refilling the stationsThe price of the room was reasonable and the same price each night, not a price hike because I stayed on a Friday and Saturday nightI would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel

Lilly Miller

We stopped here when passing through town and we were very happy with the stay Front desk women were great, set us up with a fantastic room with a tub for our baby to take a bath inVery family friendly, lots of groups playing in the pool, in the rec room (pool table, giant connect 4, ext)Room was very clean, beds were super comfy, black out curtains were a game changer

I truly had no idea what time the sun came up, we all slept like champs even the babyOnly thing is that the breakfast was kind of lame And all I eat at these places is oatmeal but the fruit selection was sub par and there was no peanut butter I will say though, they’re trying to create less waste (real silverware, large refillable containers for lotion and shampoo ext), and that was all cool to seeI’ll definitely stop here again if I’m driving through

We spoke with the front desk and have had not an ounce of satisfaction as “Amber” informed both my husband and myself that the management is unavailable on the weekends I specifically asked to speak to the General Manager, I was only given her name as KimUnfortunately, I have to address this with you

We came in after an event around 9pm last night I went to get into the shower and found the soap dishes had used soap that apparently belonged to a previous guest Immediately my fear was what else has been neglected in this room? We could not find the remote to the tv until this morning under the couchThe sheets were not on the bed and the comforter (dirty) We did call the front desk immediately and there was not another room to be had Good for business, but not for us as guestsThe world is just opening up after being shut down from Covid Why would a hotel let their guard down so much? I agree it’s hard to find employees, yet some accountability should be in place Don’t employ someone that’s short sheets (literally) your reputationNothing being done in regards to our dissatisfaction is not good businessWe also rented Room 423 I found that room to be cleaner

Erin Barrera

The staff was pleasant and room was clean Only complaint that I have is that this is the first Hampton I’ve been to that does not offer complimentary water upon arrival for Silver Tier members Instead they charge $3 per bottle

I saw another guest complaining about this too If management reads this, it’s not a good way to make your guests feel appreciated

I can’t really give this place a bad review The staff were so friendly and helpful! Probably some of the nicest hotel staff I’ve seen in any level of hotel honestly But the rooms really need an update

The recliner is made of fake leather and it was peeled off almost the entire back of the recliner Marks all over the wall where people have reclined hard in the recliner Some of the furniture seemed to be held together with scotch tape in places

deb jones

The room was fine The staff was polite However, when we notified the hotel before our arrival time of the airline canceling our flight and not being able to check in until the next day when our flight arrived, they told us we would not be charged for that first night

When we called the next morning to see if we could check in early, they told us we couldn’t check in until the regular checkin time of 3 pm I asked her again if we were being charged for the first night and she told me no, so it made sense that we couldn’t check in early However, we were charged and our room should have been ready for us Won’t stay there again

Andrea Flug

Only single rooms available when I booked doubles many months in advance I had the online confirmation and proof of payment Family of 5

1st night we spent in a single room with a queen air mattress 2nd night we asked if a double room were available We were informed that we’d have to pay $85 more for that room Why should we pay extra for a double room when we already paid for 2 nights of a double queen room? Under construction There are carpet scraps in hallways and large stains Refrigerator broken and not cooling Toilets are backing up And am confused by the lack of kitchen utensils for a kitchenette Breakfast area advertised is under construction Smoke alarm system is sounding off and has been muted But still beeping every 10 seconds and can be heard thru the doors

Starbucks inside and my favorite Rooms clean, fresh and SUPER COMFY beds Fridge in room, shower is nice and stocked with shampoo, cream rinse, body wash and lotion Safe area with plenty parking I highly recommend

I was recently there for an event When I arrived and checked in the staff was friendly and welcoming of me and our group even having decorations supporting our group at the front desk The problem comes during the event and after

During the event they had a few drink stations set up for us Depending on what drink station you went to depended on how much you were charged and what size glass you were given They were also supposed to have water stations set up for us they did not, instead had limited bottles of water and charged two dollars a bottle After our event was over in the coming days they decided to trash our group and say that if they would of known what kind of group we were they wouldn’t of let us in They knew fully what kinda of group we were and even did research on our group before owing us having our event Our event was a black tie event and we were the respectable group that we said we were Even some of the staff said that it was nice to have a group like our there that was so nice and friendly, instead of other groups that they’ve had where police had to be called In the end I would just say I wouldn’t recommend anyone to have an event at any Marriott if this is they way they treat there customers

Hailey R.

The point of a hotel is convenience and this hotel failed to be convenient Bistro hours were not posted anywhere on the menu in the hotel room Turns out they close at 10am, yet online it says 6:30am to 10pm

Even though breakfast is over coffee or drinks should still be an option There also wasn’t anyone at the front desk and the checkout process seems lazy (aka just drop off your cards here) For $130+ a night I would assume the service would be better

The guy at the front desk was very pleasant and seemed to be very friendly and gave the impression that this was gonna be a great stay However upon checking in to the room furnishings seemed very dated and that isn’t all that bad they also had no phone in the rooms I was told they removed the phones Which is like ok how do I contact front desk if need be and vice versa

But the thing that made the stay unbearable was the place had roaches which was an immediate hard no Tried calling hotel from my cell no one ever answered my calls and then they were closed till 6am or something like that So it was just a lose lose situation for me

My wife is in ICU here, we live in Sioux City Iowa and don’t drive College world series now so hospital said all rooms in Omaha booked 3 days I’m home not even able to talk to my wife Sonesta ES suites got room for me for 7 days! So thankful to be able to see my wife

Staff are great, especially the woman at the front desk The room is great! More of a back home relaxing vibe not clinical like many hotels It’s like a condominium complex I am forever in their debt by their kindness and comfort in such a time of fear and uncertainty The property is beautiful, and is surprisingly peaceful and serene, can rarely hear traffic Their kindness, generosity is a blessing and will not be forgotten Thank you many times over

GoFukk Yherself

Couldn’t figure out why many months ago so many bad reviews Learned new ownership and management Room is great

Pool looks awesome, and employees are all amazingly kind and caring Here because wife is in ICU They couldn’t be more empathetic Come here from a day at the hospital and am able to unwind as doesn’t have the motel vibe It feels like home Love it and then! Don’t miss an opportunity to unwind here!

Liz Dyer

Noisy not the neighbors fault by any means; just built poorly I could hear them snoring it was so bad

by 10 am and no sleep, I knew when they were making breakfast or showering pipes sounded like jet engines also, be aware of very high pet fees unhelpful receptionist very disappointed by the other reviews you’ll probably get better sleep at a motel 8 and won’t pay as much

Brian Balfour

The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful The lobby and common areas looked maintained and inviting The location is a bit odd and the parking lot was somewhat narrow

The main downside to the stay was the cleanliness and maintenance of the room we were in The fitted sheet was stained There were hairs both on the bed and in the bathroom The carpeted floor was noticeably damp in spots The bathroom had gobs of caulking along the tub, sink, and toilet, and there was a loose floorboard One final positive was the price was less than alternatives in the area

Hannah _

The customer service was good, however the quality of the rooms were not The first room we were in smelled very strongly of mildew and the bathroom had a very intense cleaner/bleach smell The towels in the bathrooms were stained and the bedding had visible stains as well

We brought this to their attention and they were very kind and let us switch rooms without issueUnfortunately the next room we stayed in had issues as well This room also had a strong odor, as well as stained towels and water leakage in the bathroom The bathroom floor had water damage and dipped in the center which made it feel very unstableAll in all compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at during our travels of similar price this one was by far the dirtiest Although the customer service was good, I would compare the actual stay to a 90$ hotel rather then the 150$ we paid

Sarah Schoner

My tub wasn’t working so I called the front desk They sent someone up to look at it who agreed it didn’t work They didn’t have any other open rooms in my room type

The maintenance worker was at a Drs appt After over an hour of waiting I asked for a discount and was told yes that’s fine we will discuss it in the morning After I put my kids to bed they came knocking at my door to fix the tub at 8:30pm- I said no I spoke to the front desk again who didn’t understand why they couldn’t fix the tub when my kids were asleep After explaining to them again they said ok and I would still get my discount When morning came the front desk worker knew nothing of the discount and the boss wouldn’t answer his phone But I was promised I would still get a discount and they would call me within an hourAlso the milk and coffee were both empty at breakfast at 8amThis is by far the worst best western I’ve ever stayed in

Not a very clean place, maids come after check out Have to empty trash an request towels daily Owner Ryan is always present wich is unusual, very indifferent according to staff racist

Poor quality breakfast, low life occupants, consistent weed smoking Cars are frequently broken into After check out was charged an additional $250 By owner because of alleged chemicals that had to be used? Wich was not contractual nor discussed, was no deposit, has not returned calls Had to have bank reimburse, Beware!

Scott Sadler

We stayed in Room 240 on June 28,2022 and the room had a chip on the wall, black mold around one of the outlets, the beds are high off the ground, hole in the curtains and it look like it had blood on them, and the shower handle was not caulked and falls off easily, the communication with the hotel clerk was a little difficult The hallway has poor lighting and I believe that Wyndham doesn’t pay attention to the franchisee of the hotels that are under them because I have stayed at other Wyndham hotels and they have been rundown and their policies are different, and I have had it where I got a free night from Wyndham and the hotel charged me in Kansas City I have a bachelor’s degree in business, and I know how a business should be run

Traveling on business and this hotel is attached to the convention center That alone made it a good choice for the week of classes at the convention center The rooms are very clean and well laid out and the rest of the hotel has seemed well kept and clean

What put this hotel over the top in amazing was the customer service from the front desk staff, in particular Alex She went out of her way, and I mean out of her way, to make my stay as wonderful as it could be When traditional solutions were not rectifying my issue, she took action and solved the problem herself when she could have just gone about her business I appreciate the time she took to care about something that she didn’t have to The time she decided to give to a stranger to make my stay better The kindness that not everyone has and sometimes can be very hard to find I do hope that management of this hotel also recognize what a great employee and an even better person they have in Alex

JJ Schreck

The customer service is out of this world From the front desk to management So bright and welcoming

We had a minor issue with an oversight in our housekeeping, but it was immediately addressed and made right I had never stayed at a Courtyard and always booked with the adjoining hotel not anymore, I will for sure make the Courtyard our preferred stay on our return trip every year!

Cynthia DeBaun

Staff seemed really nice however they seemed short staffed just like everyone I was in town on business and this is close to the office so it’s very convenient The first night I noticed that the carpet was soaking wet by the air conditioner

I informed the front desk 3 times and Noone came to fix it for 3 days One of my employees got checked into a room that had throw up all over it and then had to be checked into a handicapped room because that was all they had

If you’re looking for a wedding venue, DO NOT book with this place They quoted us an amount we could work with and repeatedly upped their pricing in different ways They had a 25% service fee that was never discussed until after we put down a deposit and booked with them and it was on every single thing

It was added to the room rental, the catering, and the bar Not just one 25% flat fee on everythingThey also were extremely hard to coordinate with for months I tried emailing and calling multiple times and it took forever to get my meeting with them for plans and a meal tasting On the day of my wedding, there was no one available to help us set up or tell us what was going on So we just had to fend for ourselves We had lots of family coming from out of town that stayed the whole weekend as well With all of the money that we brought to their business, I would’ve expected more professionalism and understandingOn top of all that, after the wedding and everything was done and our final bill was paid, they sent another bill that needed paid I am extremely disappointed in the professionalism and all of the extra charges that were never discussed beforehand

Cher Satisky

Our stay was great I want to highlight the chef that made the omelets to order for us every morning for three days Stephanie was wonderful, outgoing and her food was outstanding! The hotel was overrun with kids and she was a trooper! I looked forward to her breakfast every morning

I hope this review gets to her! The ladies cleaning up after all those kids were amazing as well!

You have to ask for housekeeping to bring you new towels and coffee and the stuff hotels usually come to your door and offer every day Other than that Super pleasant stay

Staff is super friendlyA lot of shopping within a short walking distance grocery, salon services, clothing and shoes, restaurants just s bunch

Great Serta mattress, very comfortable and breakfast was great The problem was the see through window shade in the room Could see through it at night and doesn’t block out light

To be fair, looks like someone stole the blinds or they weren’t installed Otherwise It would have been a great stay! Please fix the widow coverings in room 132!

Really lucky that I found this hotel during Collage Baseball playoff week at a reasonable priceRoom and bathroom were hugeIn addition to 2 queen sized beds, there was also a pullout sofa

There is also a countertop size fridge and microwave in the roomFor breakfast I had coffee and cinnamon bunsI think there is some sort of happy hour I have seen them set-up but I don’t know the hours and details I was not informed about it during the check in so you may want to inquire about it if interestedThere is also a nice outside seating area, I did not get to try due to very hot and humid weatherThey have indoor pool and it was operatingOnly one recommendation I would suggest to hotel to do a carpet cleaning both hallways and the room I stayed in had some unpleasant marksOther than that, great value for the price

Clothes washer was broken for a week The staff did offer to finish my laundry in the hotel’s large commercial washer and dryerBreakfast needs more variety

Practically the same thing every morningIf you’re looking for a quick and convenient place to stay, this should suit your needs A long-term stay and you will get burned out4 stars because the staff is great and accommodating I appreciate legitimate effort in customer service

After our reservation was made, hours later we received a call from them to let us know there was construction happening in the front of the building & we needed to park out back & use a back door There was no up front parking near the back door so we had to carry everything through the parking lot to reach the dumb waiter on the side walk to get our belongings to our room Pool & hot tube were great

The gal at the front desk wasn’t very friendly After she went through her scripted speech about breakfast & pool hours, she turned to my husband and said the pool was closed Later the front desk did call to say the pool was going to open at 6:30

This hotel really caters to the work crews, there was no family atmosphere here This was our 2nd visit to this hotel Next year we will pass and stay else where
