Don’t expect traditional “Marriott” here, don’t expect “welcome and thank you for being an “>>>>” member” Generally rooms are nice, clean, and close to normal Marriott furnishings For clarity, this is a MOTEL

Feels like I went to South Beach Miami, complete with pink flamingos, loud pool music (which interior rooms all face) and South Beach Miami clad pool goers Room does come furnished with ear plugs and sleeping mask, no joke Not bad, just not what I expected

DC Girl

We had an ok time The property was 3-starish (so over priced for the garden style apartment room) but the food was good The pool hours are limited so not a great place if you want to beat the heat or crowds with an early morning or late night swim

Most of the staff was nice but one guy who threw us out of the pool — based on in correct information another staff member gave us about the time the pool opened I would not stay here again

Renee M (Renee)

The hotel itself was great The rooms were comfortable and clean I’m giving it 3 stars because of the restaurant

My daughter and I decided to go have a quick breakfast at the restaurant How was the food? We never found out The service was not good at all There were tables around us that were being served, except for ours The waiter finally came, almost 20 minutes later and handed us a menu saying he would be right with us The only problem? We were already handed menus when we were being sat down We left immediately I recommend the hotel, just not the restaurant

I stayed there with my partner in late February Had I physically visited the resort before we booked the dates, I would have definitely cancelled We are both used to 5 star hotels—this is not one of them

It is also not a 4-star resort We had a week stay planned, but cancelled after two days The service was deplorable The suite we stayed in was overpriced, rundown, (yes, run down even though the resort isn’t that old) Nothing worked well The washer/dryer, the automated shades, and the kitchen wasn’t stocked The management appeared snobby and self-serving, not what anyone would expect from a resort of this caliber Not sure who manages this property, but they are in dire need of help After the first two days, we checked out a neighbor hotel, and booked our stay What a relief to transfer to a resort that met our needs (which aren’t much) All we require is a clean room, easy access to their restaurant, pool, workout, workable appliances, and hotel managers, workers, etc, that understand what ‘customer service’ actually means If you’re thinking of booking a room here, check out nearby hotels first before you book This is certainly not what it is advertised to be

My Wife and I never been to AZ before and after staying with Mountain Shadows we will be back for sure! We loved our experience here The staff was so helpful and happy to help us out They gave us great recommendations for food and things to do around the area

The room was clean, comfortable, and relaxing The two pools where perfect for relaxing We will be back to this hotel!

Jamie Hamm

We stayed at Mountain Shadow for 2 nights this past weekend We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the lobby, our room and the grounds The staff were very accommodating and friendly

I loved the infused water dispensers in the lobby and the free coffee at Rusty’s We had a pool cabana room which I would highly recommend It was easy access to the pool and we could use our bathroom instead of the public restroom outside I was skeptical about the shower set up in the rooms I was afraid it would make the entire room hot/steamy but it didn’t at all! The shower was very spacious and there was a vanity with a stool separate from the sink We had room service for breakfast on our last day and it was delicious! Highly recommend the fruit plate and breakfast quesadilla We would definitely stay here again!

JEM Hansen

Sonesta ES Suites Scottsdale is a fantastic place to stay! The entire hotel – breakfast area, pool, BBQ area, laundry, and especially rooms – were so clean The room was very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating We were in town for the sudden death of a family member and really needed a comfortable place to retreat and unwind and this was it

There are restaurants and stores within easy walking distance, so we were able to stock the fridge So nice having grills and a kitchenette to prepare are own meals if we wanted We loved the heated pool and spa and used it everyday Amanda at the desk, and everyone else were friendly and helpful We would absolutely stay here again when in the area

Mitty Matty

Well where do I start

Insanely nice! We had absolutely no complaints at all here with this place The room was gigantic and almost reminded me of a small apartment Had a full size kitchen that was fully stocked with everything you need This place is fully updated on everything and looked like it had a lot of new stuff because of how nice it wasThe bed was extremely comfortable to the point I didn’t want to get out of it the next morning for breakfast Speaking of breakfast, it was pretty well overall as they had coffee, a breakfast sandwich, bread/bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, and I believe cereal The pool outside was really nice along with the hot tub so that was nice to have after a long hot day in Phoenix!Honestly this place is a must if you’re in the area and looking for a place to stay overnight You won’t go wrong at all here!

Anjelina Belakovskaia

Sonesta ES Suites Scottsdale Paradise Valley was a life saver last year when we moved to Phoenix and were in the process of buying a house Which other place would keep 2 adults + 2 kids + a 70lb dog in a hotel room happy for more than a month? The staff was absolutely amazing! When we were checking in, Brenda at the registrations, recommended upgrading to a two king-bed rooms suite – which was a no-brainer and truly necessary! This room had also a living area, kitchenette, and 2 bathrooms Moreover, the price of the upgrade was very reasonable! Edith (the manager) was happy to answer some questions and assist throughout our stay, and so was all other staff – we enjoyed their hospitality, positive attitude, and care!A huge Thank You goes to all of them!Breakfast and coffee were reasonable – in line with the expectations

Nothing fancy, but convenient and useful Don’t expect it will hold you for a month We ended up supplementing it with some kitchenette preps and also going out – as neededThanks to the kitchenette and pool-side grills, we were also able to prep some lunches and dinners as well, so we didn’t have to eat out daily Overall, we had enough flexibility to choose what worked best for us on a daily basis and I personally was very happy with grilling some meat and swimming in the eveningFinally, I have to mention that the location is excellent and very convenient to many places I wish we weren’t so busy and stressed with the purchase process and had more time to take full advantage of itOVERALL – EXCELLENT PLACE!

I’d skip this oneThe only great thing about this place is the valet service that went out of their way to help us as it was pouring down rain during monsoon when we arrived They continued to be the bright spot of the entire stay here

The staff is fine but not friendly Every time we asked where something was on the property we got vague directions and couldn’t find it We weren’t offered a bottle of water or anything that we typically get when we stay with HiltonThe rooms are super clean but old There is a great vanity set up for getting ready but no outlets I’m not sure if the rooms have A/C or swamp coolers but the rooms were hot and muggy- again it’s monsoon season right now, but an A/C doesn’t typically cause that during this time of yearWhen we reserved the room the price said $180 a night with taxes and resort fees but we were charged $211It just overall is a tired and disappointing experience We have stayed at many Hilton’s for much less money and had a better experience I’d skip this one and book elsewhere in Scottsdale

Kenneth Belisle

My daughter and I stayed at the resort for a long weekend over the 4th of July The resort itself is so pretty, and we really enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the cacti, palm trees, and flowers I loved the bar at the pool-they had great drinks for adults and ice cream for kids

Our favorite meal was breakfast, and they also had great food for lunch and dinner as well The pool area was so nice, and the water was warm, and we spent many hours lounging and swimming! I definitely recommend this resort! We can’t wait to go back

Nicole Fraser

We were excellently treated by every member of the staff who were friendly and engaging The restaurant was great with a nice variety on the menu and well prepared dishes The rooms were clean and, with the sole exception of the air conditioning units, quiet

The lake made for a lovely contrast to the desert dry with birds and greenery Absolutely recommend

Room, bathroom and bedding was clean although the pillows seemed a little on the cheap end The room had a mini fridge, desk, and travel size shampoo and conditioner The TV was too small for the room however and only provided about 25 channels

I used my phone to watch anythingSome areas of the hotel look due for some maintenance or repairs, but as mentioned, the room was nice enoughThe breakfast was good but could use a little more variety The three mornings I was there it consisted of waffles, sausages, which I didn’t think were very good, two types of cold cereal, yogurt, oranges, apples, cold hard boiled eggs, muffins, oatmeal and coffee of course So it was a hot breakfast, which is nice, but after three days does get a bit oldThe pool and hot tub looked nice but I didn’t get inStaff was friendlyOn the corner of busy streets it was pretty loud at night from all the traffic, but it wasn’t enough to keep me up at nightAs one of the cheaper hotels in the area I would say it was great, really, can’t complain for the price I’d stay there again

Joel Bez

This is a great La Quinta property Out King room layout was great There even was a recliner int he room with a lamp behind it so you can sit and read or watch TV

Great desk for working Dresser with enough drawers for 2 people to unpack and a separate little area for the coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge Great location right off the freeway I would gladly stay here again

Frieda Piechnick

It was a nice room Good location The male that checked us in was a piece of work

Full of himself and any problem he said to refer to the manager He might brag about knowing Italian but he needs to learn about customer relations I am sick of bad service It is rife Wyndham needs to hold a conference and teach front office staff how to treat people with respect

Travelling with family to a work conference held hereWonderful food Clean and comfortable rooms

We requested a room near a pool and it was perfect Great staff All workers who took care of us at the meeting did a great job!Pools all very nice, family friendly Fitness center well appointed Convenient location to restaurants and shoppingThe only small issue was communication with the front desk On arrival, I got a text inviting me to message if we needed anything That service was unreliable Suggest calling or in person at front deskHats off to the landscaping crew Beautiful flowers, interesting cacti

Marlyn Fuller

It’s our second time staying at this resort, it was a joyful 4th of July weekend here The food and service was amazing! The resort is always very clean and organized, they can run low on the pool towels, so I would recommend you grab one asap otherwise they don’t get restocked We ran into that problem

Otherwise everything is amazing! Food is delicious! Will definitely be back again

Robert Green

We can not recommend The Scottsdale Plaza Resort enough! They were everything we could have wanted for our wedding weekend! The staff, the event spaces we used, the food, the hotel rooms and accommodations for our guests and everything in between was above and beyond our expectations They made the wedding planning process enjoyable and easy We got so many compliments on every aspect of the weekend from our guests

Our point of contact/coordinator, Kristin, was so organized and helpful through everything and she truly made our day run as smoothly as possible! She was attentive, listened to our wants and needs and went above and beyond for us

The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfy, the location was great and the complimentary breakfast was awesome Pool was nice too The tub wouldn’t plug so kids couldn’t take a bath and the remote for the TV was awful

Otherwise, good size fridge and shower All was nice Great price too Definitely going back next time we are in Arizona Thank you!

Cynthia Gonzalez

I recently put a review for this hotel and based it on an incident that happened close to the hotel But the hotel itself put me in a room close to the office because I was worried about safely, and I was thankful they were looking out for me The hotel itself is well maintained and clean

Wonderful air-conditioning! Due to Covid breakfast is in bags to go Great idea! Again staff is great Pool is awesome!

Tammy Carlile

I’m giving this hotel a 3 star rating because of a few things that should’ve been addressed before a new guest stays in a room Upon entering our room for the first time staying there, we noticed that there were light bulbs burned out in the bathroom and one of the lamps The body wash dispenser was empty as well as the small bottle of lotion that should have been refilled

We also weren’t notified about us having to contact the front desk to have housekeeping done for our room We weren’t told upon arrival and there were no signs in our room regarding this We understand why, but would have liked to be made aware of it upon arrival We also understand that with the pandemic, supplies are depleted but rooms should be 100% presentable for new guest arrivals To end on a positive note, the room was clean, the pool and spa were nice and the staff was great

VICTOR URZYCKI

The McCormick Scottsdale was recommended by our family living in Scottsdale The hotel has quite a lot of amenities, which we weren’t able to enjoy However, we really enjoyed using the amenities that we were interested in using, during our stay

We had a very busy schedule that our family members had planned for us that we were gone for most of our eight days stay at the hotelThey have a very friendly, and great supporting staff, that lets you know that you are welcome and they show their appreciation by letting you know that they are glad that you are staying there We would like very much to compliment, and thank, the housekeeping staff that were assigned to our room The young ladies that my wife and I met while leaving for the day to be with our family, were so friendly and accommodating whenever we requested their services to tidy up our room and to exchange our bath linens We will definitely return to stay there when we visit with our family again

Gustavo Vegas

The hotel is well located and has many amenities Has a decent restaurant in the grounds, with tasty foodThe staff were helpful and greeted us with a smile

Now, the hotel needs a makeover, it is very dated Our room has a musky smell, and one of the beds squeaked as one sat on itOverall, I would come back in the future, but a renovation would make it more attractive than other hotels/ resorts in the area

Penny Liddell

My husband and I stayed at the property for to celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary The check-in staff was very professional, very polite, and helpful The room was clean and comfortable as we received an upgrade to a king suite from a double queen room

We did not use any of the other amenities available to us such as the pool, restaurant or spa area I was impressed that the pool is available to guests until 10PM My only complaint is the resort fee charged at check-out even though I prepaid for it in the app I reserved the room under It was eventually taken off by a manager, but I should not have been charged in the first placeThey could also use another elevator on the other side of the hallway, as we had to walk down some pretty long halls to get to our room Otherwise, a great experience and I would certainly recommend to family and friends

Nice staff However, The room was very hot and the heat was radiating off of the brick walls Also, we found a family of bugs in the bathtub that were living in the drain

We went to the front desk to notify them and the manager on duty offered to go to pick it up, but she said “it was normal” to have bugs in the rooms Did not feel comfortable staying in a hotel where they were so nonchalant about that Upon request they agreed to change us to another room-the new room was also gross The shower looked like it has not been cleaned, and all around the drain there was hair We promptly left the hotel and we’re given a refund

Mark Stephens

Great location just outside of old Town Scottsdale that is easily walkable There are several night clubs across the street that get a little noisy at 2am when letting out however rooms are well insulated so it’s barely heard Very active location with walking and biking trails

30+ golf courses in the area Shopping and many eateries within walking distance Hotel staff is top notch and starts cleaning early every day keeping the place immaculate Breakfast nook and dining area is small so many choose to take food up to their rooms The assigned employees here do a great job Nice big pool that is open 7am to 10pm with plenty of towels poolside Very nice little gym if you want to lift weights or grab a machine cardio work out I definitely recommend this hotel if traveling to Scottsdale

Hari Khalsa

First and foremost, the Manager and GM were outstanding in thier customer service, even in the face of my frustration which was clearly showing The property is lovely, great pool area Wonderful workout room if you need it

Plenty of eats right across the street There is a breakfast here and it looks spectacular, we couldn’t stay for itThe room was modern, with one of the nicest showers I’ve had in a hotel The AC was a bit loud, but that’s a small gripe for all the good hereRate was nice for a BW+ property Would stay here again, after fixing my card problems with the bank Thanks again for your solution!

Enjoyed the stay Clean rooms Meet little upstairs patio overlooking the pool, little bit of shade little bit of sun which ever you choose

Nice part of town w/ easy access to great little shopsJust a few blocks from “Spaces” where we always go to have our meetingsEvery time I go, I like to go to Cartel Coffee just a few blocks away – best coffee around!

Stelios Serghiou

Not recommended Fantastic location and nice staff However, the walls were paper thin (I could not sleep because my neighbors were simply chatting and I woke up with their alarm)

The water in the bathroom sink smelt like sewage water The room was newly renovated but everything just felt cheaply done Tip: if you do stay, request a room away from the nightclub noise

Brent Grablachoff

Marriott name with Best Western quality & Motel 6 service Want to feel valued as a Marriott Bonvoy elite member? Don’t stay here The front desk staff are unwelcoming and will do only the bare minimum expected of them during your stay

Rooms are outdated with peeling paint throughout the bathroom & shower Glass shower door doesn’t properly protect the shower faucet splatter and your bathroom floor will be absolutely soaked requiring use of 2 of the 3 towels you’re allowed to blot up the mess The beds and pillows ARE very comfortable which is a plus But the entire interior / shared areas of the hotel are run down and it feels like a very cheap motel with Westin or W pricing to stay The major plus is the quick access to downtown Old Town Scottsdale; but I’d rather walk a mile to the action than stay here again Poor management that doesn’t care about their clientele; at all

Arriving at the hotel we were greeted by staff and went ahead using the driveway at the main entrance Luckily the luggage roller was available and we got into our room without a hitchAfter settling in the room, we had to appreciate our surroundings, the room was very clean

The layout was great, we had an amazing bed and the bathroom set up worked well for my family and I Had all the usuals available at home, TVs, microwave, fridge and a nice living room to relax inLet me tell you, the amenities at this hotel are fantastic as well, 24 hour gym, golf, pool set up was excellent as well as a lobby where you could relax and get some work done Or you could grab a drink and a bite to eat with your family It’s going to sound like an odd observation but, the hotel has this smell and feel throughout that just makes you feel at ease It was quite a welcoming feeling as we were staying due to an emergency with air going out With the animals and little one it was not going to work staying there So thank you to the hotel staff for making our time there a great experience, I would wholeheartedly encourage others to stay here, regardless of the reason The last thing I would mention is a big shout out to Cameron, he is an excellent addition to their staff and made sure to take care of us

Danielle Morgan

This hotel is deceiving from the outside Beautiful lobby and friendly staff The room was spacious with a private balcony, 2 T

V’s a small fridge and microwave The bathroom was updated and spacious as well There is a HOT breakfast with made to order omelet’s and pancakes There is also a happy hour, the only thing that could have made that better is some complimentary snacks as well It’s located near shopping and restaurants as well

Robert Valderrama

As I did not get anyone’s name, I would like to thank everyone at the front desk, the dining staff, the bartenders and even the maintenance folks Definitely my new go to when I go back This is my top 3 place so far

Comparing to my other stay at another Hilton location, this was by far the nicest, cleanest and most enjoyable Hilton I’ve stayed in

Very clean resort The room was very nice but only 4 stars as the decor was a bit plain The bed was VERY comfortable! The pool area was great

Parking close to your suite was difficult but they had golf carts that they would take you to your room if there wasn’t parking close to your room We were in the ground floor and it had a cute shady patioThe staff was EXCELLENT! We enjoyed our stay and would return again

We recently stayed here for several days, as we were visiting from out of the state The resort itself was clean and well taken care of Our room was spacious for two and comfortable

It appeared to be very clean; however, we did find a cockroach in our bathroom the first night We were able to use the outdoor pool, which was a good size – it was open until 11 pm, so we opted to use it in the evening vs daytime when it appeared busier The location of the resort was great – close to restaurants and only 20 minutes to Tempe and the airportThe only negative thing about our stay was the parking There is no close parking to really any of the accommodations The resort has staff that drove us and our luggage on a golf cart to our rooms – this was a free service that could be utilized 24/7 There are no elevators, so the staff also walked our luggage up for us It was a nice touch, but we found it cumbersome as we left the grounds periodically throughout our stay for sightseeing, lunch/dinner, etc and didn’t feel like calling for a ride every time we left and returned – but that meant we had a long walk back to our roomsOverall, we enjoyed our stay

The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were spacious The main reason for 3 stars is because our initial room was bug infested They were all over the bathroom, crawling up the walls and on the shelves

We called the front desk and they immediately sent someone down to spray some citrus insecticide in and outside By this time I had 2 bits on my face The next day I woke with more bites on my neck The bugs had disappeared temporarily The next morning I awoke with even more bites on my arms and chest and the bugs were back in full force We called the front desk and asked to be movedThey then moved us to an even bigger room and were very apologetic They gave us a bottle of wine and really tried to remedy the situation The bites had gotten so bad I went to urgent care and they said it could be bed bugs!!! My worst nightmare! We took the report to the front desk and they immediately sealed off our prior room The following day they had their exterminator come and they reported no bed bugs I figured great The next morning in the new room I awoke again with even more bites on my neck and chest The staff again was so apologetic and even compensated us for 2 of our nights there Needless to say, I couldn’t wait to leave the place Upon my return home, no more bites had occurred, we took all the precautions and left all of our belongings outside until our own exterminator could treat our stuff I went to my own dermatologist and they confirmed it was definitely bug bitsAgain, the staff was so great about this situation and the property itself was quite lovely, however, I will not be staying there again

I am INCENSED that a week later I am still suffering the pain of injury sustained as a result of unsafe conditions in this hotel and haven’t received a call OR apology from hotel management!I stepped into a VERY slippery tub with the shower going The tub had no treads or padding, causing me to violently bang my shin into the side of the tub! I then had to stand & walk in a wedding for hours in excruciating pain When I reported to the front desk, I was told there was NO Manager on Duty and NO Incident Report Log! (I filed directly with corporate

)The agent then presented me with a packaged bath mat “Why was I not offered this at check-in? Why aren’t they placed in every room?” I asked “Some people don’t like them” the agent respondedThe purchase of such an item proves the hotel is aware of the issue but has chosen to take NO action to proactively protect the safety and welfare of their guests This is an “intentional tort” and “reckless endangerment” for which they should be stripped of their franchise license before they cause further liability to the Best Western brand; or their neglect leads to more serious injury or death of a guestI have been in the hospitality industry for almost 40 yrs and have opened 4 Diamond hotels I know the protocols and standards They are not being fully followed by this hotel

Honesty not impressed the rooms are clean and fresh the staff is polite and helpful but the pool is well mediocre at the least small and a hot and the bee problem is rediculous Breakfast is definitely free and appears that way But for a budget Motel it is fine

We will definitely pay more and take advantage of some of the betterHotels in the area next time we visit Arizona

Horrible experience and don’t go to this place which doesn’t deserve even a star because stars are given for customers care and service!!My wife and her colleagues went there for FIVE NIGHTS for a conference (AAPOS) last monthThe hotel did not clean / collect the rubbish from the room for the whole booking (five nights)She asked the receptionist about it , she gave my wife two large bags and asked her to collect the rubbish inside the room in these bags and leave it outside !!!!My wife asked for the receptionist to call for the manager, she replied that he’s not available!!!

I stayed three nights during a fraternity conference – everything with the property was spectacular The rooms were spread out, allowing for privacy and the facilities were beautifulMy favorite part, was the service

Guests were greeted with friendly staff and everyone from the front desk, to the servers, to the bartenders, to the groundskeepers were consistently friendly and working to ensure an excellent staySpecifically, Rita in the restaurant worked hard every morning to be certain that everyone coming and going before meetings had a relaxing meal and was so friendly while running aroundWhile I didn’t get to spend as much time by the pool as I hoped, the morning I did lay by the pool I had the opportunity to chat with Daniel – he was so nice asking about my work and was so excited to tell me about the work he does When I saw him later that day, he greeted me by name and asked how my meetings were goingIf I owned a hotel, I would work hard to steal these two all-stars and hire them on my staff

Outstanding stay Not only were our accommodations perfectly taken care of, but the entire resort caters to any type of traveler This is a space I would stay with family, friends, for business or pleasure

I loved that everything on site opened early and stayed open really late, so you were never at a loss for coffee or a glass of wine During our stay, there was exclusive music every evening on the patio It was quiet enough to make sleep easy close by, but also created the PERFECT ambiance for an evening dinner

My friends and I had a great stay here! I don’t know the name of the woman that checked us in, but she was amazing! She gave us a list of restaurants in the area and added her specific recommendations, which were super helpful We love that you get warm cookies and water bottles at the front desk (and we were told we could grab more whenever we wanted)

such a treat- the cookies are so good! The pools (and hot tub) were great with pool towels readily available The parking is nice and convenient to wherever your room is located Our patio didn’t have an amazing view of anything, but it was still a nice thing to have in the room Beds were comfy and we all slept like babies The Starbucks in the hotel was a huge plus for the mornings We didn’t use the sports court/ golf/ restaurant/ fitness facilities during our stay We had a great time and were happy that we chose this hotel for our girls trip

Super pet friendly resort! Perfect place to chill with your little furry friends Pretty mini resort It’s not a tall building style— kind of interesting

We visited during the Easter weekend and there were lack of staff for sure There was steam sauna at the gym but no staff were there and saunas weren’t working at all, which was quite disappointing Still enjoyed my stay overall and would recommend for pet friendly resort 🙂

I was getting married 1/22/22 and coming from out of state I had no idea other than pictures of what this hotel was like There was a little communication issue during the booking process whichmade me have some concerns about what it was going to be like (Note: I understand now that Samantha was working remotely and I know how that can be at times, and she was great other than that

) and also because Best Western does not have the best reputation overall and I wanted my wedding weekend to be perfect and my guests to be comfortable But I can’t remember a time at any hotel, EVER, that I had a better experience EVERY single staff member I encountered displayed PHENOMENAL customer service My now husband and I can not really put in words how AWESOME you guys were Every request was met with smiles and an “I’ll be happy to do that for you” attitude I can’t recall a moment outside of my room where I did not see housekeeping cleaning something I felt very confident and safe with the cleanliness I wish I could’ve tipped every single one of you Thank you soooooooo much for making our special week even more special My guests were raving about your service as well and had a ball at your establishment The atmosphere at the Aiden was nothing but love You guys should be the example for customer care for all hotels We will definitely be back and I highly, highly recommend this hotel for all to experience

My best friend and I had such a great stay We were on a girls trip from out of state Every single staff member was so kind and helpful

Ashley especially went above and beyond to help us when we ended up in an emergency situation She was calm and quick to get us the help we needed She even followed up with us the next day to make sure everything was okay (Which it was) Thank you for a great stay Aiden! We will most definitely be back when visiting the beautiful state of Arizona

This was a fantastic hotel especially for the money The rooms were extremely clean and the sheets were soooo comfortable The lobby area was beautiful and so was the pool

I also liked that they had a Starbucks machine for free coffee and had a great choice for creamers and sugar The front desk clerks were also very nice and professional Parking outside was also a breeze

I am currently staying long term at this hotel while awaiting my house to be built I have never stayed this long at any hotel, and normally choose more of a four star property Because I was staying so long, I decided to give this a shot, and am VERY GLAD I did

THIS is the cleanest property I have ever stayed at I would love to know how they keep a staff that is so on point There is no lack of staff that I can see, and speaking with others staying they choose this hotel over, and over because of its cleanlinessI read the previously review about noise, and there are signs posted that from 10pm-6am is quiet time, and I think that is just amazing Sorry you missed the signsI hope that if you are passing through Scottsdale, and want a clean room, attentive staff, and managers, and a GREAT location, you choose this property The pool is nice, the breakfast is fine, managers great and friendly, front desk always there to help, and the cleaning staff is helpful I stay stay here You will not be sorry!

I had a horrible experience at this hotel, it was a beautiful resort but front desk night agent was not very friendly and greeted us very rudely If it wasn’t for everything else being sold out I would have rather stayed in my car I did not feel welcome at all

I did meet an amazing housekeeping worker she was more helpful than the front desk agent Do better

Jessie Lynn

The check-in process was smooth until I got to my room The key didn’t work and the light would only turn red I went back down with my luggage to have the issue resolved

No big deal, mistakes happen They moved me to a different room, so back up I went The room looked clean and presentableI picked this hotel because on the website it said there was a restaurant and room service However, when I called down to ask about ordering a dinner, they said that room service was only for breakfast and that I’d have to come down to the pool bar for food The menu was very, very small They did have gluten free bread though I ended up ordering their burger and was asked how I like it I said “medium” The burger came back and the poor thing really can only do well done- it was the same patty that you get in a school lunch or in a hospital Definitely not what I was expecting from a Hilton resort, and not for the price that they chargedThe room was ok, however, I must have been placed right under the AC or something (on the 3rd floor) because every time it turned on, it was a very loud creaking noise that would startle me awake about every hour I even tried putting ocean waves on my phone to drown out the creaks, but they were too loud I was disappointed that they didn’t leave water in the rooms too They said that water was available as self-serve behind the check in counterThe next day I attempted their breakfast which didn’t have much improvement from the burger So for dinner, I went and got takeout but got up to my room to find that I needed a fork I called down to the front desk to ask if they had any extra forks She said that they did I asked if I needed to come down to get it She said, “yes, because that would be considered room service and we only do room service for breakfast” Wow! I was in complete shock!I was under the impression that checkout was at 11am However, I had housekeeping knocking on my door during the 9:00 hour ready to start cleaning Definitely the cherry on top to my stay I hate to leave a poor review, but with so many things that just don’t match the expense and reputation of a Hilton Resort in the high-end city of Scottsdale, this was just not okay

Brittany Webber

This Hilton is more like a 3-star hotel I was only here for one night before my flight from Phoenix Upon arrival, the staff that checked me in were great

Very friendly I went to relax by the pool after check in It was late in the day (after 5pm) and there weren’t many people there The pool area was trashed with leftover food, plates etc all over the lounge chairs So bad to the point that birds were all over the place scrounging for food It was incredibly unpleasant Hotel was also noisy at night I was woken up by noisy guests walking the hallways in the middle of the night Bathroom was also not throughly cleaned Overall, this is good if you are just passing through or staying for the night, but I wish I would’ve stayed at one of the nicer “real” resorts up the road

This hotel is in a fantastic, safe location The rooms stayed cool despite intense heat and the beds were comfortable I’m knocking off a star because one of the house keepers entered my room when I had up the do not disturb sign as I was minutes away from getting in the shower

Why provide the do not disturb signs if your staff is going to straight up ignore them? The front desk staff was very friendly and I had no other huge issues here but I would be hesitant to stay again as I don’t want someone coming in my room when I’ve clearly displayed not to

Tarina Aleamoni

This hotel is in a great location It is down the street from the Biltmore shopping center and in the heart of almost anything you’ll need Very close to Tesla superchargers if that’s something that you will need

It was very well-priced for the quality compared to other places I’ve stayed in Phoenix, and was one of the few that allowed ages under 21 to check in Very clean, very polite staff Would 100% recommend staying here

My wife, Lora, and I have stayed at many a fine hotel, and as Titanium members with Marriott, have grown accustomed to excellent customer service, but nothing has been as exceptional as our latest stay at the Phoenician in Arizona From the moment we entered the resort, where we were warmly greeted by Eddie and Ryan at the front desk, who gave us a complimentary room upgrade, to the day we departed, when Charlotte in Food & Beverage gave us a complimentary fruit platter, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional During our stay, when our flight was cancelled, Haley, a Front Desk Manager, and Jonathan, a Front Desk Agent, were kind and considerate, helping us negotiate another night, complete with a late checkout, for which we are grateful

Of course, the grounds of the resort are lovely, and the pools are amazing, but the best part of our wonderful stay has clearly been the people we had the pleasure of engaging with, so thank you to everyone at the Phoenician, you made Lora’s and my 10 year anniversary exceptional, and we look forward to staying at your beautiful property again soon

Susan Oergel

Celebrated my birthday with my daughter and a couple friends with a high English tea The petite sandwiches were tasty and the desserts were amazing! The staff was excellent looking after our needs The only thing that would have improved the ambiance was that the piano music was way too loud

All in all we had a wonderful time and a great memories were made

Raahuul M

Very nice property Service is great Deluxe room with balcony was very spacious with a comfy king bed, ample closet space, double vanity, large TV, nice shower and a relaxing jacuzzi tub

The foyer has a nice bar and ample comfy seating There are many restaurants on site and some nice shops (though expensive)
