I was staying here because a friend was getting married in Patterson The hotel is currently under renovation and as such, is hard to judge I had a double queen bedroom for two nights and it was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable

I originally had a king for one night, but the staff was helpful in accommodating for 2 nightsI like that checkout is noon, it allowed me to sleep in a little bit and not rush to leave I also liked that the continental breakfast ran until 10am Really a nice change from other hotels that are done by 8am The food was okay, but it was free and it changed between Friday and Saturday which was coolI have no complaints, it’s a solid hotel in my experience

Tarik Ghiradella

Service was great The newly renovated rooms and lobby are beautiful They have entertainment some evenings in the lobby and it’s really quite nice

My only complaint is the location which can’t really be helped The hotel is quite isolated but there are places to eat within a decent driving distance

April Elansari

This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced The staff at the front desk was extremely rudeMy stay was for a wedding and they caused me to miss the family pictures and part of the ceremony because our room was not ready until 1 hour and 30 minutes PAST CHECK IN TIME (3PM)!On top of that, the staff told me they would hold the shuttle and they did NOT

which meant I had to UberLASTLY THE POOL WAS CLOSED AND THEY DID NOT TELL US PRIORDO NOT STAY HERE!

Affordable and comfortable place to stay on business Its not fancy but has the comforts of home you would expect to find The cleaning service does a great job and the free breakfast is okay

I’ve stayed in some that were worse and some that were better Highlights are ; the staff is friendly and helpful , the building could use some work and a 20oz drink is almost 4 dollars at the desk, also there’s some remodeling going on so there construction materials everywhere

kim sandoval

This was by far our favorite Hyatt on our trip The rooms are always consistent at Hyatt What made the difference was the staff

Excellent breakfast buffet each day Consistently had great coffee (strong but not too strong) and the management had the best set up with 3 different coffee stations with all the supplies needed so multiple people can get coffees at the same time They were always restocking items so you rarely waited for anything They also consistently had oatmeal, yogurt, and fresh fruit cut up and added blueberries and other fresh fruit They did the best job of rotating the warm breakfast items as well The staff were friendly and helpful Our room was kept clean while we stayed for the week Hyatt should use this hotel as example for others

Gurnoor Pannu

The staff is amazing! Everyone was so helpful, they would go out of the way to help me out! The room was perfect, I went there to take my exam and as I had requested I was given the exact room, rather better! Everyone was so cooperative all alongTanisha was the best there, she and Justin were always a great help to me and made the best coffee for me I highly recommend this place, it’s amazing

Had the best experience with hyatt till date

Surprisingly greatRooms were clean, bed soft, a variety of pillows ( I usually never find a soft enough pillow), really nice pool, better quality soap and conditioner in shower ( JR Watkins Brand), and breakfast buffet was extremely edible Eggs were great, bacon was perfect ( not overly burnt, not a lot of fat, soft and Deliscious) coffee was stronger then most hotels dish water ( which I like)

Ericka H.

The location is excellent Right next to major highways but no noise from the highways 10 to 15 min drive from most resturants and attractions

Really quiet area Beautifully landscaped outside the hotel with ample parkng Clean and modern when you walk in Staff are friendly and professional Breakfast area is to your right when you enter and check-in desk to your left and pool is straight ahead Quiet family hotel No rowdy teenagers or partiers I got a good nights rest The sheets had small stains on them It looked as if someone was eating takeaway in bed and dropped food The sheets were washed but stained I got turndown service on the 3rd night and was expecting my sheets to be changed as is common on your third night The sheets were not changed Breakfast was just ok Hot eggs of some sort every morning with a choice between a pork protein (bacon or sausage) or turkey sausage One day they had biscuits and gravey but that serving tray remained empty for the remainder of my stay Coffee was good, they also have tea, yogurt, packaged muffins that aren’t very good, and cinnamon rolls Cereal, toast, and a pancake maker Overall my experience was good and besides the sheet issue, the hotel is very clean and safe But for $200 a night, it should have been great You shouldn’t charge that much if you are skimping on bedsheets I mentioned this during checkout and got an $11 reimbursement Also, they allow pets but you would never know it because the place did not smell and there was no pet hair anywhere

Prime location – access to so many different shops and entertainment Nice rooms and affordable I enjoyed staying at this hotel but the biggest feature for me was the pool area

It is large and the seating area was very accommodating BUT the pool has not been open since the covid shut down So please be AWARE IF YOU ARE STAYING FOR THE POOL, IT HAS NOT BEEN OPEN! I have not stayed here because since then So my rating may be outdated at this point But I’ve always called for various occasions to book and see if the pool was available and it was never available So for those looking to book because it has a pool, you might as well skip past this hotel

my kids crying all night because it is too hot i spoke with front desk staffs multiple times and requested to change rooms first, they said the hotel is fully booked, but the parking is filled 1/3 of car then they said i booked from Expedia, 3rd party website, they cannot make any change i went to target to buy 2 fans in order to get some sleep This hotel is ruining my vacation

First impression is a good one Clean, bit of an odd layout for a hotel , but very friendly staff We booked on line very easily

We stayed two nights Had breakfast one morning There’s a buffet on Sunday morning for $16 a person However we decided to order fresh off the breakfast menu & were very pleased They did a great job with my special order of an egg white mushroom & cheese omelette cooked well Delicious!Only two disappointments: one was the pool being in disrepair That was one of the reasons we booked there I hope it’s repaired soonThe other was my husband had called the front desk with a question and no one answered the phoneBottom line, I really did like the modern interior design It’s a less expensive, good , clean , quiet place to sleep if you’re traveling in the area or going in and out of NYC

S Prosper

I liked it there Very easy to find off the highway The receptionist was efficient and helpful

I got to my room and it was clean and what I expected I didn’t hear any noise while sleeping, everything worked Even the cleaning staff was helpful I overall enjoyed my stay there I even asked for the receptionist to print my covid test for me and she was happy to help Will be back

Abigail Prichett

I had mixed feelings about this hotel There were strange sticky spots on the floor (I do not want to ponder what they could have been) The room was nice, newly renovated

You could tell they definitely cut corners and some things were barely hanging onto the walls The location wasn’t great, I mean it’s conveniently located off route 17 but I didn’t really feel safe going to and from my car At one point during our stay, there were a bunch of cop cars pulled up in front of the building Everything just felt a little sketchy But definitely not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in

i had the best experience at this hostel the staff is incredibly inviting , kind and helpful i stayed on the top floor (which wasn’t even an annoying walk) the view from my window was an awesome new york skyline

i slept on the top bunk which wasn’t bad at all you get two sheets and a pillow case and a set of keys upon checking in after getting into your room you’ll find a pillow and two thick blankets the bathrooms are pretty clean everything is very tidy the place has such character!! awesome people too! it’s a 5 min walk from the museum of national history, right next to central park and by a ton of food and the subway!! a great street too!

Laura Tapia

It was just perfect The roomies were great, the room was decent enough for what we paid, the bathroom was great Don’t leave without checking the lounge downstairs, what a charming cultural spot with that mid-XXth century taste!!! They also have a good kitchen for you to buy your own stuff and cook it (so inviting you to save money in a pretty expensive city) and the girl in the front desk is simply lovely and so helpful: ask her just anything and she’ll help out! The area is also super calm, quiet and safe, Central Park is ridiculously close

Go stay to the International Student Center!!!

Leela Prabhu

I stayed here, in a female dorm, for 2 days and 1 night The hostel is well located- right next to central park and about 20 minutes from Times Square, by subway The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they are available for most of the day

Linen, blankets, pillows and the bed were washed and clean The bathroom is very large and clean, though there is a high chance that it may be occupied when you need to use it You can’t take large suitcases up as there is no lift and there were no safes in my dorm Given the rates, I’d highly recommend this hostel

Had a park and cruise package and it worked out great We stayed one night before the cruise There was a wait for the shuttle in the morning, but we were prepared for that based on other reviews so it was totally fine

We asked for the 11:00 shuttle and it was more like 11:50 when we left, but I understand there’s tons of traffic going in and out of New York so not surprised they get behind In fact, we had a 1:00 check in time at the cruise terminal and still got there early (the shuttle got us there at about 12:30) For the shuttle back, we waited at Pier 90 where the driver asked us to and it was about an hour wait before they arrived (they had taken another group back while we were still on the ship because we were in a late disembarking group, so we had to wait for them to get back for the next group) Truthfully, I was expecting longer so I was happy with it! After the cruise we checked back in and stayed for 3 more nights to explore the city If you want to take public transportation into Manhattan, we discovered that the North Bergen park and ride is great It’s about a 10 minute drive away and you can get a bus into the city that takes you to the port authority bus terminal, and from there you can go anywhere on the subway (or walk in Midtown) It was very easy to navigate The only negative was that, as others said, it’s hard to turn into the entrance depending on where you are coming from

Jaylinn Barrientos

I would just like to add that I was there about a week or so ago and I meant to write a RAVING review Every worker I encountered and talked with was more than accommodating to my specific needs and I even witnessed them real with an issue with great etiquette Place was Packed overall clean and calm as well as had a decent variety for breakfast if you’re not looking for anything special

Cannot thank the staff enough for making a trip to a big city very easy and stress free 🙂 🙂

Tania Nova

We stayed 2 nights here The place was clean, lobby, bathrooms, pool area and room, I was very surprised because some bad reviews but this place look niceThe employees were very helpful and asked if we need anything a lot of time

Great assortment of food at their free breakfast Complimentary/no fee parking Most importantly to me, LGBT friendly Prices are decent for the area and yes you could find cheaper—but after one stay here you wouldn’t likely want to find anywhere else

as a longtime employee of Hilton I know great service when I see it I can tell that the front desk staff are trying their best to accommodate their guests, and I can see that the food and beverage team are experienced at the business of hospitality The food was great and the room was also very well maintained

The best part, This place is right next to William Paterson University So if you need a place to relax after finals, this might be the place to go

Jeane Spada-Allgood

Lovely hotel, but get a room far from the pool! I would love to give this hotel 5 stars – it was impeccably clean, comfortable, and in a nice location However, noisy guests coming and going from the pool were a major problem They were rowdy and loud and the pool is open until 11 pm! I was not provided another room when I requested one due to the noise

Leli B

Based on the previous reviews I see this location is known for overcharging their guest or making up rates! I booked my stay for a specific rate and Leidy from corporate confirmed and when I called the hotel Mike gave me a different rate and after 5 mins it went up… yes this is just as confusing to me! I told him to call corporate to confirm and instead called a third party company and gave me the rate they were offering that day! (Not sure how this man runs a hotel!) customer experience is terrible at this hotel and the rates are so confusing! Do not recommend

This Hampton Inn is about a twenty minute drive from Manhattan (w/o traffic) It has a great location near several malls and hundreds of restaurants The hotel appears to be new, the grounds, landscaping and rooms are all very well maintained

The room includes two queen beds, a nice work desk and chair, and plenty of room for storage It also had a mini fridge and microwave There was an indoor pool which was accessible only by appointment, as well as a fitness center The majority of the staff were super nice I didn’t take any pics of the rooms, but they were exactly as pictured on the website

The hotel was nice at first glance When getting into the room I had to clean it Mirrors smeared sticky substance on the desk and window was filthy

Toilet seat was falling off! To me it’s all about the small details and they were missed through out the whole building NEED BETTER HOUSEKEEPING STAFF Pool area was ok water seemed cloudy and way too much chlorine but we swam in it and survived Gym was decent, again needs some cleaning Breakfast was the best part Food was fresh and yummy Over all its a 3 from me

My family and I stayed there for a few days while on vacation Andrea at the front-desk was AMAZING I had called multiple times prior to checking in about my room type

I was told by a young guy at the front desk he couldn’t help When I called back again to asked to speak with a manager Andrea answered and made everything great She assigned us to a room that accommodated all of our requests Andrea is really a great asset to this hotel Thank you so much Andrea for fixing this stressful situation because we had been driving from Florida to New Jersey

Clean and quite rooms Cannot blame the hotel for the traffic and trucks around Entry and exit is definitely not a positive as it does seem from the back of the building

Staff is helpful absolutely courteous Rooms ( suites) are large and clean Need to advise the front desk of the room cleaning service in advance – due to covid restrictions and availability The suites have two tvs and switch on and off together ! Again not an hotel issue but need to align the remote close to the TV that needs to be shut else the remote controls both TV’s…Breakfast is typical – eggs were COLD !!!!

-It was clean-The rooms were decent compared to other hotel rooms I’ve seen- They have breakfast every morning which is great!- Coffee all day which is heaven- There’s a gymEverything was great but if you don’t drive you’re kinda stuck but they offer a shuttle bus for local places so that’s helpful I never took the shuttle bus but I believe they offer that

First time staying here and it did not disappoint The rooms were spacious and clean The staff were so helpful and it was reasonably priced

My only criticism would be the breakfast buffet The eggs and hash browns were pretty tasteless and the waffle batter the same Adding some spices and vanilla to the batter would have gone a long way

We needed a spot to spend the night after a friend’s party in Ridgewood – and the comfort inn fit the bill Rooms are pretty nice, recently renovated it would seem

I’d score them higher but the comforter had a number of visual stains which puts me off from a hotelStill the room was clean for the most part, aside from that The sheets were bleached white without visual staining and the space was well appointedI doubt there are better options in the area for the price
