I did not enjoy my stay at your hotel The staff is extremely dry and abrupt I requested for the microwave, I initially requested upon booking the room, be sent to my room on my first night

I was told only the King suites have microwaves I explained that it was a major reason for me booking the room and she said there was nothing she could do Later on, after reading over my hotel email, I found where it was clearly stated that my room came with a microwave I called the front desk again and was told they could bring me one the next day When they brought the microwave, the man just walked in a placed it on the table He didn’t even face it the right way or plug it in It’s a good thing I already made a space for it on the table I made no further issue regarding the microwaveThe elevators smell like a sweaty gym even though our masks There are no trash bags in the trash can The refrigerator doesn’t stay cool over night We spotted a roach in our room on the second night Thankfully, checkout was the following dayHousekeeping called our room early on our last day, waking us up regarding towels we did not request Therefore, I called the front desk for an extension in our check out time and the front desk operator was very condescending She initially granted us a 30 minute extension which was ridiculous I was then allowed an 1 hour extension, however, I didn’t appreciate the nasty tone I received along with the statement”1:00 is the absolute latest”, as though I was her child asking for permissionI will most definitely, never return to this hotel as customer service and cleanliness doesn’t appear to be a top priority

Great little quiet place to relax Room was clean and everything worked very wellOnly gripe was layout of hotel

One elevator for the entire place If your room was the furthest from it you were hoofing steps or doing a long walk

First of all, I would not have agreed to stay at this hotel had I known there was no complimentary breakfastSecond, the toilet was not properly cleaned upon our arrival, as my husband found out when he lifted the seat to relieve himself As he washed his hands, the sink did not drain properly

He called the front desk and the property manager came to snake the drain promptly (a plus) Then told him about the toilet He said he had to get supplies then it would be taken care of After a wait, my husband then asked the cleaning staff in the hallway to come clean it The lady cleaned the bowl first and then cleaned the seat 🤢 The manager came and cleaned it properly and we told him about the cleaning lady When my 3 yo dropped the soap and picked it up there was a hair, that was not Afro-textured like ours, on it In the three days we stayed there no one ever cleaned our room, even after we requested it (more on this later) I should have known by the worn out beige faceplates on the outlets and light switches that we would be just as neglectedThirdly, we had to ask for towels and wait for them to washed One day they ran out of large towels and had to give us pool towels The front desk agent said it’s because people don’t put them outside the room but no one told us to do that so I’m sure the other guests had no idea either While I was waiting for towels, another guest said they only clean the room every third day even if you call to request it She had been staying there 5 nights at that pointOn the upside, the beds were comfy and the A/C worked well It wasn’t the worst hotel, but do yourself a favor and pay a little more to get a better hotel

This location is great Nicely tucked into a nice area, well lit and felt very safe (Can’t say the same for all LQ properties)

Check in was a breeze, though we didn’t get the first floor that we requested (not a deal breaker by any stretch), but we arrived pretty late and left very early, so we prefer the first floor to not disturb those trying to sleepThe room was definitely above my expectation I was on a 4 day road trip and booked similar hotels to this one and this had the best room of the 4 Spacious room, nice bathroom with great lighting and amenities Breakfast was alright, but nothing to write home about, but I’d definitely stay here again Nothing wrong with our stay whatsoever

Leo

We stayed here a couple days, it’s a pretty nice hotel if you plan to stay for more than 3 days I’d say The rooms were pretty clean & the beds are comfortable enough to get some sleep I would say the bathroom tub/shower combo could use some updating & the shower curtain slips off the rod sometimes

Otherwise, the room was spacious & the ac was working great throughout our stays I think you would have to request to get your room cleaned because they never cleaned it while we stayed, but it’s wasn’t a problem to us since we only stayed a few days The parking lot is quite big, plenty of parking spots

Sue Lin Lange

Very kind front desk staff Professional guests coming and going Beautiful clean lobby

And nice little convenience store in the lobby areaWithin waking distance of all the North Point mall stores and you can get even groceries from Target across North Point Parkway We felt very safe and the price was really competitive if you shop the travel appsAlso so nice to have fresh brewed coffee and tea plus some basic items and a piece of fruit included for breakfast

I’m giving this location a 2 stars and that’s purely for the hospitality of the employees we came in contact with That’s where anything good stopsI am seriously questioning all the ‘new and updated’ reviews

The room we stayed in was not updated at all The carpet up the stairs was torn, stained, and gross Everywhere I looked needed to be shampooed or vacuumed When we walked in to our room we were immediately hit with the stench of mildew and even running the a/c at 60 all day long it still was overpowering Only one of our key cards worked – but even that one stopped at 9pm the night before check out! The pool absolutely made me sick to my stomach It was so cloudy you could NOT see clearly the bottom of the pool and someone dislodged one of the inside pool lights and (still electrically attached inside the pool) draped it outside on the ground outside of itI will definitely never be back to this location

I stayed in Room 310 Carpet is very dirty and there were stains on the couch When we got there crumbs were on the floor, kitchen area was sticky

I opened the refrigerator and I thought someone had left food but the front desk agent came in and said it was a big blob of ice cubes?? Later that night the toilet would not flush at all I called the front desk again and he told me that he would bring me a plunger so I can unclog the toilet since maintenance had left (it was around 9pm when I called) I’m on a trip and they expected me to unclog their toilet I let the guy know that wasn’t my job and maintenance came in to unclog the toilet The AC would sometimes work and their pillows are flat and lumpy Needless to say I will never stay at this Hyatt Place ever again I chose this hotel because other Hyatt Places are very clean and has great customer service This one needs some serious cleaning and remodeling

Regret staying here for a week

The rooms look pretty renovated but the beds are terrible No support, poor quality Left with my back achingThe breakfast is horrible You can see the dust/powder coming off the scrambled eggs when you scoop it The pancakes are dry and bitter That’s it, No bacon nor sausage etc

EVA DIXON

It was a nice stay

was very disappointing to find out the hotel us stock photos Showing in door pool and found out after we came down to use the pool, to find out its outside pool and it wasn’t ready for the season 2 adults and 5 kids The only reason we booked with this location was to have the poolLesson learned call before you book your room, make sure you are seeing the correct photos

I stayed here while in town visiting friends I had a good experience The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfy, the breakfast area was always stocked and well kept, and the location was great! Only a few critiques

The pool area had no towels and no umbrellas, other guests were being loud and slamming doors which a little disruptive late at night, and the door lock to my room wouldn’t click into place but I used the latch and felt that would be enough for safety All in all I would stay here again

mike wagner

The first room had mold in it so we changed rooms the next morning No apology for the mold and I bet they are still renting the molded room out The second room had a dirty bathtub and the sink took about 15 minutes to drain after brushing teeth

The toilet rocked when sat on Next time we are in the area to see family it won’t be at this hotel No luggage carts when we needed to use them so we ended up waiting a half hour still no luggage carts The lady at the desk said they only have two for all those rooms there That’s pretty sad We have stayed in many holiday inn and holiday inn express and matter of fact we are members holiday inn club vacations as well and this location is far from what we know as the holiday inn brand Hopefully they get it together soon

Magical Mystery Ride

Nothing short of amazing! Staff was awesome, bed slept wonderfully, and breakfast was mediocre Please teach the cook how to make eggs that aren’t watery It’s not appeasing nor appealing to the eye or stomach

Oh and please NOT SO MUCH SALT on the potatoes! Thank you in advance And I hope my $25 deposit is back on my card in the morning bc it’s been over 5 days That should’ve been released upon departure!!

We stayed here one night with our son Everything seemed clean The pool was warm and there was a breakfast buffet

If the breakfast was edible I would have given it 5 stars but even though they had waffles, eggs (scrambled, omelette and boiled), bacon, yogurt, fruit and milk some of the items had a weird taste We went to Einstein Bagel’s close by If you don’t have a budget for breakfast you won’t starve! Also, the coffee was kind of bad If they were able to improve the breakfast to something the staff would even want to eat everyday it would be amazing! I guess I’m focusing on the breakfast because that was the only issue there was But I would stay here again regardless Overall, I found people in Atlanta to be very friendly and not overly concerned about CDC recommendations pretty much everywhere we went

Krishna Juluri

The location was excellent The customer service was excellent, the staff were always there to answer any questions or fulfill any requests Within the means this hotel is great but when I compare this to other Fairfield locations the rooms here need a lot of attention(finishings, paint, cracked tiles etc

) A very genuine effort was made by the staff to provide a great breakfast but for someone who stays more than a day the hot options need to be real

Janice G

Nice location, safe, clean, quiet, good night’s rest, conveniet to restaurants and attractions, and friendly staff It is a bit older location so not quite as up to date as newer locations Our coffee pot in the room did not work and since we had to leave at 5 a

m we had to get coffee elsewhere and also left before the breakfast offered with our room was available (maybe at 6:30?)

We had to book 2 rooms last minute for a family trip They were able to accommodate 2 rooms side by side (not a connecting room unfortunately) and provide a crib We’ve paid more for less at other budget hotels, so we were pleasantly surprised with our positive experience

Rooms and bathrooms were clean The breakfast had many options Didn’t notice any loud or unruly guests while we were here Pleasant over all Staff was friendly and helpful

I have checked in exactly at 12:07am on 4/30/2022 I am writing the exact date and time hoping that a manager sees this review The lady who helped me check in was very rude

She had me put in my card and after I saw “approved” on the card machine she started pressing cancel button She said to put in the card one more time which I regret I checked my account right away and saw two pending transactions I told her this and she got very annoyed and said she only sees one authorization code She handed me a paper and sign and I asked her what the paper is for and she got annoyed again I showed her my online banking with two transactions pending, but she told me to talk to the bank So I had to call the bank after driving 4 hours and the banker told me there were two transactions with two different authorization codes from best western I filed for a dispute right away I told her about what the banker has told me and that I am filing for a dispute and all she said was “that’s fine” This is my first time staying at best western and will be my last

Reva The Diva

This Marriott is a gorgeous hotel My boyfriend and I stayed here for only a night yet it was one of the most comfortable hotel stays I’ve experienced The room was luxurious and cozy

Due to checking in at about 4am the kind staid offered us a late checkout the next day The only thing that made this stay a 4/5 instead of a five was the cleaning staff About every 45 minutes to an hour they were beating on the door As you can imagine this was extremely irritating My sleep being interrupted periodically with the knocking when my boyfriend and I were exhausted and just trying to rest When it came time for check out we stopped by the front desk to explain what happened As they were apologetic, the staff checking us out did let us know that it was noted in the system that we check out at 3pm The simple constructive criticism we offer is to make sure that there is an open line of communication as to what the cleaning schedule is for the rooms that guests are currently occupying between the cleaning staff and the front desk This is not the first hotel at which I have experienced this nuisance

Ernest Mallett

This was a great stay! The staff were amazing and the bar and rooms were really nice About the only complaints I would give is that the A/C in the room was a little loud and the carpeting in the hallways gave a depressing feel Other than those two tiny issues the stay was amazing, everyone was polite and professional, even the interactions with other guests were pleasant

Terra H

I stayed at this hotel recently The staff is very polite but the facility is old My room did not have hot water and it smelled like mildew

After informing two of the front desk employees of the issue, they seemed concerned, but no one ever came to the room to fix the issue Also I questioned the cleanliness of my room I had hair in my shower and the floor didn’t appear as if it was swept Won’t stay here again

Racial profiling racial discrimination I witness a young lady being asked to go into the lobby to show her reservation and to make payments because she was on the property in her car Now keep in mind the young lady told me they called police on her first which she told the officer she has a reservation and she was in her car waiting for check in time or would go in to see if she can check in early I am 55yrs I am black Indian and you can’t tell if you see me but I know racial profiling when I see one I’ve been through it as well because she was on the property not bothering no one but I believe the manager in the lobby was upset

I hope I can reach a higher department because this is my American rights and her rights as well because she is a American who’s been here since she was a child and is born to African parents I will report this property The young lady was the most sweetest African lady I met and honestly when she explained things to me I understand the manager is a racist She did no trespassing I stay at this property that’s what the manager filled to realize I saw her reservation and she did call the office before coming which she showed meThey think people don’t know their rights and I’m glad she did I will follow up because we have to love and respect one another Protect black children at all cause black rights matter

A safe and Great location close to highway, restaurants, shopping & more The rooms were nice and super comfortable Everything was really clean and looked good except for the chairs in front of elevator

Service was quick, professional and friendly The only downside was that they offer breakfast but not included in what you already paid

alexis B

I was satisfied during my 4 day stay It’s definitely an older establishment, but it was clean Parking was readily available and in close proximity to the building

The breakfast was good with a nice assortment/variety of choices Norman at the front desk was very hospitable and hilarious !! The only minor issue I encountered was the time it took for the water to heat up (5-10 min) Aside from that, my stay was very pleasant

Pam Parker

I stayed in this hotel exactly a year ago, and everything was fine I booked again this year, and the entire hotel has gone to hell The only saving grace is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff

When I first checked in, the deadbolt was broken I was moved to another room, and the deadbolt was inoperable in the new room as well However, it was late and I was tired The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall The shower is a vast cavern with a teeny shelf, so all of my products had to stay on the floor There is zero water pressure and no bench or ledge for shavingOn the second morning, I woke up to water dripping from the ceiling The carpet and my son’s shoes were soaked I called the front desk and the lady I spoke with was very kind She offered me another room, but I really just wanted to leave She graciously let me cancel the next two days I had booked, and I moved to the Hampton next doorAgain, the staff is great but the hotel should be leveled

Carol Josefek

We were greeted at the front desk with two complimentary water bottles for being hhonors guests Check-in was easy and the room was nice and clean The location was further from the highway than we realized and it was tough to get to, not being from the area

However, it was in a nice quiet location, which was a bonus No highway noises, only the hum of the a/c and fridge I would recommend this hotel for folks looking to explore the area

Janice Peterson

Room was clean You need to ask for housekeeping if you want We just asked for towel change

Nice foot tunnel outside that connects to shops and restaurants on otherside of main road without needing to cross traffic Rooms have been updated but tubs/showers ate very deep and even my 6 2 husband had difficulty stepping in to shower No safety bar on edge to hold I literally had to craw outmy 5 3 frame could not safety go over A big walk in shower would have been better

Very nice hotel Friendly staff Comfortable beds

Could use better pillows and high pet fee but free parking and lots of breakfast choices We stayed when we were in town for a braves game Easy to access highway even with construction I was concerned walking into the room that it wouldn’t be cold but the AC cranked out cold air and it was great Very dog friendly

Christy Szabo

Beautiful, CLEAN hotel Easiest check in process and and most accommodating front desk Young family of 4 with 2 small children

Stayed night of Braves game then ventured to the aquarium the next day Perfect location Shower had no blemishes and carpet had no debris Breakfast was filling and had something for the entire family Will definitely have a return visit

Anna Wenders

The staff were very nice, and our room was good, if a little noisy (we were on 6th floor on the street side of the building) Everything was clean and comfortable Great water pressure and very hot water

The noise from the hallway and room next door was a little loud, but I’m a light sleeper and things settled down by 12 am Loved the gym which I used every day, and the indoor pool which I would have used if I’d know how nice it was and had packed a bathing suit The complimentary breakfast was fairly good though I only ate oatmeal and yogurt Coffee was very good Overall, very good value

Was a little hesitant because I’m a clean freak and an always a little weary about staying in a new Hotel I was pleasantly surprised The room is neat and clean and even smelled bleach, as well as the sheets and towels

The bathroom was exceptionally clean, even around the toilet where you can usually tell if they cleaned properly The only complaint I had is that the rug looked a little used and could of used a cleaning My hubby went down for breakfast and he said it was all fresh and very good I will not hesitate to stay here again

Lisa Lor

The only thing I didn’t enjoy about my stay here was the bathroom The bathroom door screamed every time you shut it and when flushing the toilet, the pipes make such a huge noise Didn’t really enjoy those noises at 2 AM

Complimentary breakfast was ok and coffee was decent Location is the best though This hotel is in a back corner with only 1 way in and out so there’s less traffic driving through so it was actually pretty quiet despite the restaurants/bars nearby

I’ve stayed here 3 or 4 times now and its really a good hotel Clean, good service, excellent breakfast, easy parking, etc, but the room lighting is super dark and I have to use a flashlight to see stuff

I stay in hotels about 100 nights/year and this one is a zero on lighting On this trip I also stayed at another Holiday Inn (Atlanta Airport North) that had excellent lightingBring your own lightbulbs

My stay at this hotel was fantastic However, I am extremely disappointed in the waste produced during the breakfast rush Before COVID, it was bad enough with plastic plates and plastic utensils

I have not traveled in over 2 years and when I return to my first business trip, this is what I see Now plastic cutlery is wrapped in plastic bags Bread, two slices, are individually wrapped in plastic Ziploc bags Still there are the plastic plates and everything else plastic including individual creamers As much as I love Hilton, love Hampton Inn, I cannot support this wasteful environment It’s time for merchants like Hilton to step up, return to ceramic mugs and silverware with staff to wash and keep the place clean I am really contemplating where my next hotel stay will be so long as they do not use plastics to the extent that this Hampton does Again, the hotel was fantastic The room was neat The location was great The staff were super friendly However, I cannot give a high rating due to the environmental waste I experienced

Hampton Inns are fairly consistent across the country, come with a consistent breakfast, and are typically quiet and comfortableI spend a lot of times traveling and have been in 4 different Hamptons in the greater Atlanta area over the past few monthsThis one was a little older than others, but the front desk attendant Julissa (I may have her name wrong) Went above and beyond multiple times

When I arrived my room fan was excessively noisy , not her fault, but she quickly sent someone up,and moved me to a new roomThe Second night, the room next to me was having a little too much fun, and the smell was very strong She once again stepped up and delta with the people who thought illegal activities were accepted by the hotelI work in customer service and I can’t remember the last time I was that impressed by a employeeThis could have nearly been a horrible experience, but your employees were a great ambassador of your hotel

Just God

Any town that has JESUS lifted up on a billboard, it’s expected that your stay will be blessed I’m amazed at how peaceful and quiet the hotel is with 8 floors consistently being sold out, there’s adequate free parking, and Ms Angela ensures everyone is thoroughly treated to a delightful hot breakfast with a smile

May the peace of God continue to rest on this city, hotel and all its staff and guest in Jesus mighty name!

I stayed at Home 2 at the worse time of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the entire front desk staff was mindful of that and went over and above to keep everyone safe and healthy I was so grateful for all the measures taken to ensure that we stayed safe and healthy I will never forget them as I still remain grateful to them

The housekeeping staff was on point with keeping their distance while trying to keep our rooms cleaned and sanitized, a job well done of course My time there was absolutely wonderful

My job flew me out for training and reserved a room for me and it was great! 10 days away from home felt better because of the amazing staff here! George and LaKerry were great and very accommodating The pool was relaxing and I enjoyed the large gas grills for cooking out and not needing to have fast food or takeout every day It was nice having real dishes and apartment sized appliances

The stove kit was handy and easy to use I would definitely recommend this location and my job will be booking more room for work trips

We were very comfortable and happy at this hotel The rooms and entire building were new, fresh and clean The indoor pool was a blast for the kids and the beds

even the sofa bed was comfortable and made for a great visit The staff members here were extremely kind, always greeting us with a smile and were very helpful with anything we needed The breakfast was also perfect Lots of selections, tasted great and prepared us for the day ahead For us, it was also conveniently located close to Atlanta where we were able to visit the Georgia Aquarium What a treat! We would stay here again and hopefully soon!

I stopped in as a non-paying customer (but a Marriott Rewards member), and wasn’t allowed to use the restroom I had to go to another hotel directly beside this one (non Marriott facility)I have never felt more profiled and disrespected

I left and returned because this didn’t sit well with me I asked for the manager’s information and will be reaching out to them directlyThe attendants attitude was just horrible I see why I’ve moved my services to Hilton…wow!Sincerely,Never coming back here!

Brooke Nicely

I did enjoy my room even though I couldn’t stay the full time of my stay because I was in an accident The customer service is good They serve a hot breakfast everyday but some days you should just order from IHOP or Waffle House down the street

It’s in a great location near many restaurants and near the highway The rooms are cozy and well sanitized
