I was very comfortable and had everything I needed Communication was easy and the hosts are very helpful! The area is very pleasant and safe There are plenty of restaurants nearby

I was within walking distance of the harbor waterfront and enjoyed riding my bike in the evening after work The place looks just like the pictures and is very charming I loved the convenience of parking next to my unit I enjoyed the gas grill conveniently located just outside the unit HIghly recommend for anyone wanting to visit the area and for those travel nurses on the road wanting the conveniences of home lifestyle while working on the road

My wife and I spent our winters at Punta Villas for four or five years We liked it, Deanne and Nancy, and Punta Gorda so much that we bought a condominium in Punta Gorda where we now spend about six months a year The eight Punta Villa units are small, but so well equipped and carefully designed that a couple can live very comfortably there for an extended period

Nancy and Deanne are delightful people and they are very responsive, and the Villa’s are an easy walk to the heart of Punta Gorda, the Peace River and its river walk, bike trails, and downtown shops and restaurants

We loved this RV park Only wished we would have booked for more than 3 weeks We are praying to get to come back next year for 3 months

Everyone was so helpful and friendly Super clean park with many activities and Bill and Diane do a great job! Our situation was a little different as we couldn’t participate in many things because of my spouse is getting treatment and is immunity comprised, but there were many things to do The pool and hot tub were awesome We are currently in another RV park and it’s no where near as nice as Creekside We can only hope our next two parks are half as nice as Creekside, so far we haven’t found anything as nice!

Karen Eve

We had the pleasure of being here from August 2021 to November 2021 and are on our way back to stay April 1st No other RV Resort compares to Creekside Nice wide sites, beautiful grounds and very well kept, clean facilities

But above all the great people, Dan the manager, Greg and Kathy office staff and Diane and Larry also office staff they make your stay so enjoyable To them I say Thank you and so looking forward to seeing you all again

LA Saints

On July 18th, we reserved a site at Creekside RV resort The Thursday before we were scheduled to be there, I emailed them to see about checking in late for Sunday, October 3rd We were traveling from Tallahassee, FL

They sent me an email back stating, “We do not receive guest after 1 PM on Saturdays or Sundays Please be here to check in before 1 PM” I contacted them the next morning to see about making late check-in arrangements since we were 5 hours away from the campground and they said that the only hours we could check in was from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM because they were a gated community We have been camping/traveling for 16+ years and have stayed in many gated communities and have never heard of any such thing To make matters worse, after explaining our situation about traveling, they wanted to keep a $2500 administration fee My confirmation email stated that if I cancelled within 48 hours of arrival, I would be refunded my full amount After showing them the email that they sent me, I finally got reimbursed my full amount In hindsight, I was glad that we didn’t stay here If they are that strict about checking in, what other rules were in placeI have never heard of such a time frame of getting from one place to another place within an hour and a half on the weekends I believe this may be a new campground and I can’t see it surviving with this type of customer service hours Luckily, we were able to make reservations at Riverside RV Resort in the same area and it was a wonderful campground We will stay at Riverside RV Resort again in the future

I cannot begin to describe how well I was treated when I first arrived at this hotel As the doors opened, Brittany B was at the front desk bubbly and cheerfully there to welcome us

She even offered to help with our bagsI mean who does that anymore Her hospitality and enthusiastic personality made our stay that much better The other staff was great as well However, in all aspects of our stay Brittany was there to accommodate our needs A positive attitude is contagious and let me tell you, I caught her positive energy quite quickly She was always busy doing something for the hotel; whether it be decorating the Xmas tree, cleaning up the breakfast area, greeting new customers, and so much more Being a school teacher myself, I feel the biggest compliment is a recommendation I highly recommend this hotel due to the cleanliness, positive attitudes, and BRITTANY! She literally brightened my family up each morning and evening and I wish there were more people in the world like her Thank you extended stay and thank yo Brittany! Happy holidays

Kay Medeiros

The rooms are big and have lots of potential I like feeling like I have plenty of room and not like I’m in a closet I also liked that they have little kitchenettes with stove tops

But this was by far the dirtiest room I’ve ever been in any I’ve stayed in many hotelsThe shower was disgusting to the point where I cleaned it and then cleaned it again and then ended up going to a different hotel and showering there instead I disinfected all but the floors and the amount of dust caked on top of the fridge was unbelievable mostly because they are big fridges but only bigger than your average hotel and there’s no possible way any human couldn’t reach the top to dust it off

Nicolette O (Nicki)

Tiny tiny roaches scurried to keep out of the light and out of sight when I opened the door I was worried I would have to face the big one that brought them into existence we never met, good thing too ‘cuz we would not be friends

The dog had fun chasing them around no complaints from her about more protein to her dietNice vending machines with many good snack options, and payment options They take cards too

The staff are great here Very kind and attentive But let’s be honest

This hotel needs some help The musty smell in the rooms and hallways is an allergic persons nightmare I was lucky enough to find my essential oil and spread it throughout the whole room It made it just bearable The furniture had a sticky surface that wouldn’t come out

This RV resort is hard to access with a Big Rig When you come from I75 it will take you 40 minutes (!) through the city and small roads, no idea why they picked this area It’s nicely located close to the waterfront but middle in nowhere

During our stay, we had many construction workers their (and noises!) Sometimes we had to leave the resort for some hours because it was too loud The management was only for a couple of hours per day in duty and didn’t take care I talked to Ralf the guy from the front desk about the loud noises, he freaked completely out, became extremely rude and yelled at me, if I don’t like it, I can leave (no money refund!) I never had such a rude experience all the years we were on the road! During our stay, we had an issue with our washer/dryer combo and wanted to use the laundry Unfortunately, all the machines were out of order!!! They also offer a gym, very poorly equipped, not acceptable for a daily rate of $157!! Finally, the location at the water is nice, but the overall maintenance is horrible I can’t recommend this resort If you in the area, I could recommend The Tides RV Resort in Palmetto, better traffic connection, better prices, very close to the beaches, not middle in nowhere, brand new and quite fancy, And with a super friendly, lovely staff

Banyan Ranch Studios

Quiet, relaxing Motorcoach resort

helpful staff and well-maintained property Wifi signal was good; friendly resort owners and guests – – easy to get around if desiring exploration, whether south to Naples, Marco Island, or the Everglades, or north to Venice, Englewood, and more In consideration of the fees and expenses for residing or rentaling, attention to little conveniences such as trash pick-up at each site, regardless of season, is a minor but much appreciated ammenity For those interested, a pool, a clubhouse and an exercise facility at the property entrance/office area Overall, very nice for those looking to experience or live within this type of property

Great service with the van All of the workers were helpful and very polite Both in the restaurant and at the desk

We were there in November 2021 and went back for a five day trip in March This was our fourth trip to this hotel and we have never had a complaint The road noise on the east side rooms can be bad at times This is a close location to shopping , parks, and other restaurants Heading back in October

Dottie Lease

Where do I begin, the room we stayed in was below average The furniture was all beat up The bathroom had rubber stripping that was all tore up

The room smelled like a dirty wet dog I booked the room ahead of time for three guests and the room was supplied with 3 towels, 3 hand towels, and 1 wash cloth I went down to the front desk and requested 2 more wash cloths Two hours later I went to the front desk again to find out where the wash cloths only to be told that housekeeping refused to bring them up until morning I explained that wouldn’t work since we has an early flight the next morning and we wanted to shower that night and we needed them that night The front desk gave us two hand towels and told us to use those as wash cloths Really? Not what I expected Needless to say two people could not shower As we checked out the next morning I asked for the manager and I was told he was not available but would have him call me later No call I called the following day and was transferred to his voicemail and left a CD message Guess what, no return call I guess they don’t care about my experience! Very disappointing!

Just went for dinner to the All You Can Eat Friday night fish special The Fish & Chips is excellent here but the servers make it not nearly worth the visit We sat at the bar which was a huge mistake

The barkeep, Christine, is not cordial nor does she follow up to be sure customers have what they need, are happy, etc She is not the right person to have customer facing Will try again sitting at a regular table, but miss people like Tina who knew how to treat customers

I was very impressed because some of the reviews online were the opposite of my experience My husband The front desk staff was amazing thank you Patti and Matt for accommodating us

Also how you went above and beyond Our room was clean and bright, and the bed was heavenly Amazing pressure and very hot water for showering Clean towels and linens With a decent breakfast Thank you Port Charlotte we had a wonderful relaxed time

Kyle Walker

This hotel was okay Mediocre at best The gentleman that checked me in was very nice and I enjoyed chatting with him

The hotel room was average I read reviews about the water temperature and noted that, after some time, the sink water warmed up So when I took a shower, I waited quite a bit for it to become “Luke warm” I was in a rush so I took a quick shower that got “hot” for about 5 minutes before becoming FREEZING cold I got out quickly Also the drain did not work well so my “shower” quickly became a “bath” Breakfast is until “9:30” but I got there at 9 and almost all the food was gone and I could not find anyone to refill the food I tried to make a waffle and the mix was completely goneI got a good deal on this place at about ~$100 through the Hotel Tonight app I certainly would not pay more than $100 a night for this facility – It was the best price I could find in the area but I still feel a bit ripped off

David

The staff was very nice and helpful, there was always someone at the front desk, and complimentary breakfast every morning They also had coffee out all dayI didn’t use the pool or any of the other amenities, but they seemed adequate

The room seemed clean and didn’t have any obvious smells or stains A/C worked fine The only issue we had was that the walls are very thin and we had an extremely loud and rowdy neighbor who stayed up all night every night

Our 2 night stay and wedding event was fabulous We rented the Rooftop 360 Perch for our wedding ceremony and reception We also stayed in a deluxe suite that was wonderful

The entire staff, especially Amber and Kathy were outstanding to work with Their accomplishments to ensure our wedding event was no less than outstanding was extraordinary I would highly recommend Wyvern as a best-value service provider

Norm Clinkscales

Our 3 night stay was pleasant and without any difficulties Self parking was easy and close Our king room was clean and the bathroom very nice and spacious

No noise at night Extra towels arrived within minutes of being requested The rooftop bar and restaurant has great views but it’s more a bar and less a restaurant Breakfast was disappointing Skip eating there, go for music and partying

Nicole Glinko

This hotel looks amazing when you look at it online, and when you walk in But that’s about where it endsThe Mexican bar next to the hotel is extremely loud every night

Loud music, singing and yelling until about 1AM Not even the TV could drown it outHousekeeping is every 2 days because they are short staffed, which is understandable But when our room was cleaned, they didn’t even change the sheets There were stains all over the white sheet, and the exact same sheet with stains were there They just made the bed and took our used towels We had to ask for new sheets and change the bed ourselvesWhen we went to the front desk to ask for new sheets and towels, the lady was very put-out and replied with “well I guess I’ll have to send someone up with some” 😅 sorry Just wanted clean sheetsThere is NO verbiage at all They don’t have any type of info in the rooms about how to use the TV, info about attractions in the area, when the restaurants, bar and pool closes, absolutely nothing We had to ask the staff about it all, and they were annoyed when we askedThe pool closes when the sun goes down I’ve never heard that before Most hotels in the state let you use the pool until at LEAST 9-10pmWe went to the bar on the roof to just get drinks, and every 5 minutes they kept asking us if we were getting food And then we were ignored the rest of the time because we weren’t ordering food I didn’t realize you had to order food to go to the bar and be treated like customers 😅Everything is clean The rooms are nice But that’s about where the niceness ends We felt pretty cheated out of $200 per night We aren’t going to be staying again

I stayed here for a work thing, as it was convenient to the highway — but this may be a destination locale for a special trip! Why pay $$$$ for a hotel on the beach where you DON’T get fast service, plenty of super clean room, a cold and empty mini fridge, and a delicious breakfast? Just stay here! I was in my room within 3 minutes of arriving Plenty of useful-but-not-in-the-way furniture in the room All the accoutrements– iron (which I used, thank you very much), hairdryer (which I did not), mini-fridge, good-smelling soaps and lotions (with the offer to provide anything I forgot), and a super-comfy and clean bed

I was out like a light Breakfast was unexpectedly good — good coffee, hot sausage, BISCUITS AND GRAVY!!!, pre-made omelettes, pancakes, cereal, bagels, yogurt — seriously, why would you stay anywhere else??Room and bathroom were both very cleanWe reserved a small conference room (which was weirdly on the 3rd floor in an odd area, but the front desk attendant came in with a fresh pot of coffee and was super friendly Wasn’t big at all (maybe 10’x20′?), but worked for what we needed

This 2 star hotel exceeded my expectations! The rooms were clean, Chris and his staff were not only friendly but accommodated our group with ease We were visiting for the weekend for a basketball ball tournamentThe breakfast was not too bad either, better than I’ve had at most hotels

I would highly recommended if you need a clean space on a group trip with kids

The beds are sooooo comfortable!! I love soft beds The mattress, pillows, and comforter were all extra soft and hugged my bodyThe rooms were very clean! And I loved the modern style and decor, in the room and throughout the hotel

The room had blackout curtains, which was very helpful for sleeping in!I enjoyed the free breakfast, I had lite apple juice, pork sausage links and sausage patties, an orange, and blueberry Chobani yogurtThe process to unlock the room door is longer than normal The employees will demonstrate it at the front desk, so you want to ask for that demonstration upon check-inThere was some chipped paint on our door and some rust scars in the tub by the drain where enamel had been scrapedI would definitely stay here again
