The front staff was kind but the breakfast staff was quite rude The rooms were nice and my only concerns with them were the blinds that would shut all the way, 1 or 2 hairs in the bathroom from prior guest, and that the bed was quite cold but I get that many like cold sheets

The bathroom was very clean and I was comfortable showering there The breakfast had a good selection and had sweet treats too The pool looked a bit dirty because it was foggy and dark The air conditioning was rusty but the hot tub was nice It smelled really strongly of chlorine but the room was warm The location was nice since it was just a few 25 minutes from Mount Rushmore I recommend if you are going during 3-4 of July

Excellent hotel! Very clean and quiet

Made for just the restful night I needed The rooms were large so I did not feel claustrophobic The swimming pool and hot tub were clean and perfect temperature to get a good swim in then relax in the hot water The breakfast is not my style but many that were eating there were very happy with the hot breakfast I will definitely plan to stay again

Kirstine Johnson

Very clean, spacious rooms at a good price Front desk agent was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient Breakfast choice offered up everything: fruit, cereal, pancakes (made to order ), sausage links and patties, biscuits, gravy, Cinnamon rolls, toast/bagels

Fairly new hotel No walking distance restaurants but a large gas station with nice convenience store across the street Would definitely stay there again

The rooms were relatively clean No smell Lots of dust, which you notice more without carpet

The front desk was rarely there I don’t understand why there isn’t anyone in helping to check in but you need to call to get someone to help you check in Breakfast was good Laundry was good Overall was good place-1 star for the lack of 24/7 receptionist

This hotel was exceptional! We came to Rapid City for a few days to see the sights and enjoyed staying at this hotel The hotel had a modern style and the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable They had a large variety for breakfast such as pancakes 🥞, sausage, scrambled eggs, yogurt, bagels 🥯, English muffins/toast, cereal, and juice

We did do make it to the pool/hot tub due to sight seeing but we were very pleased with the breakfast selection & comfortable rooms Checkout was at 11am and the front desk staff were very helpful and insightful for sight seeing around Rapid City & Mt Rushmore The lobby in the hotel was very cool It had a pool table and a place to play board games Next to the front desk was a small storefront where guests could shop for travel essentials, drinks, & snacks Overall we really enjoyed this hotel and would stay again!

After Driving 1100 miles from Oklahoma to SD to take care of some business, we couldn’t find a room! Plenty of available rooms just nobody works before Noon to 3:30 PM depending on the establishment??? I was told by another hotel to come here because they accept pets!? Well guess what they don’t accept people until they are ready! The sign on the door says office hours 7AM to 10PM! Another sign says call a number, I called about 9am a Man answered quickly but refused to rent a couple of Disabled Weary Travelers a room because it wasn’t convenient for him!!!!! I was so tired I was seeing double and at risk of getting into an accident! We had to find the Walmart and sleep until I had recovered enough to find a room at another place when they were willing to rent! I understand motels and hotels have check in/out times but never had been refused a room when they had available rooms! Sometimes they charge an extra day I would have paid double for a room today! It’s better than getting into an accident and hurting or killing someone because nobody wants your money!!! I’m getting way too old for games like this from business I remember how they treat me and make sure I never return and make sure to tell others to avoid the place!!! The only good thing to say about this place is the location has a great view of the entire area! But if they don’t want your money the view will be brief!!

Myself and two friends stayed in the “Skyline Suite” Unfortunately, there were no windows on the side of the hotel facing the skyline The view wasn’t too much of a problem for us, but we were unable to get any access to the internet when connected to the hotel wifi

When we went to ask for assistance, we were met with an empty office We went without the free internet that was promised to us in the room listingWe were also very perplexed when we went to the office to request ice with our “bucket”, as it was outlined in the information sheet, and were told we could purchase a bag of ice In my experience, most hotels offer free ice to their guestsThe room was pretty outdated and the breakfast was lackluster A few pieces of bread, jelly, two types of cereal, and a few grab and go items were available to guestsThe positives we found in this hotel were the location, the cleanliness of the room, and the size of the room

We recently stayed at the Big Sky Lodge for 2 weeks on our family road trip from Florida This hotel was perfect for us The price was great, the room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable

The view is amazing and it’s in a very nice location The family that runs this hotel are so sweet and helpful The breakfast was good and we had everything that we needed It was a very quiet motel and we got a great nights sleep every night If we go back to Rapid City, we will definitely stay here again Thank you Big Sky lodge for your hospitality hope to see you again 😊

Stayed here for five nights while on vacation in South Dakota While the location was great, the hotel was really the best part! We had two cats, and the staff at the front desk waived the pet fee for our last couple nights The room was exceptionally clean upon arrival

The bathroom was great (water pressure, heat, etc all awesome) and we had more than enough towels for three people Breakfast was at a good time every day and there was always enough food no matter what time we arrived (plus fresh coffee all hours)While you can hear noise from rooms in the hallway, it’s very quiet once you’re inside Though other pets were also there, we heard hardly no noise from the rooms on our floor and slept very well The staff were all incredibly helpful during the booking process and throughout our stayIf we are ever in Rapid City, we will most definitely be staying here again, and I really recommend this place for families or folks with pets!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel We stayed in a king jacuzzi suite, which cost me less than $160 using military / veteran discount We had spent the last 3 days hiking and camping in Custer State Park and the jacuzzi tub was just what we needed

The hot breakfast was actually a full breakfast not just waffles and stale donuts a lot of other places give you I give it five star all around based upon my expectations for the price point Everything in a room was clean and smelled fresh and the air conditioning was 100% controllable by us, not preset by hotel staff

Take101away

This is a very clean and nice hotel It also wasn’t a dingy atmosphere which always make the stay more enjoyable and relaxing The free breakfast tho isn’t the best hotel breakfast I’ve had, but that is more personal based

Although at night the doors are loud and at times when trying to sleep it did sound like our door was being opened or tried to be open, which is not what you want when trying to sleep But it got better our second night It is a little more spendy then I would like for only 2 nights but overall all I would recommend staying at this hotel If the price isn’t that much of an issue and you prefer a nice clean atmosphere though out the whole hotel They also have a great pool with a slide and two hot tubs, because we all know the feeling of going to the pool and seeing a group of strangers just sitting in the one small hot tub, not talking 😂 But yea, good hotel

This is a really nice hotel It’s just far enough from the city to have a nice view and be relatively quiet, and the staff was really friendly and helpfulThey had more gluten free options for breakfast than I’m used to

The GF english muffins were really goodThe sitting area is also nice I’m an early riser so I spent some time down there reading, so I wouldn’t wake the family It was comfortable and relaxingI really hated to leave this hotel when it was time to go back home Next time I am in Rapid City, I will definitely stay here again

debbie Gillig

The room was great the bed and pillows were comfy My only problem with all the hotels we check into is the toilet paper Lol I know it seems crazy

But if I’m paying for a room the toilet paper shouldn’t be like toilet paper I get in truck stops 10 sheets of cheap toilet paper vs 4 sheets of good toilet paper Heck Sam’s club generic is better than hotel

Anthony

Good location for the sites I wanted to see in that area Room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpfulThe breakfast they offered was one of the better ones I have experienced at a hotel

I was there for three days and each day a different meat was available with the eggs I would stay here again

Stayed two months for a work thing The hotel is really nice Jordan at the evening desk is badass and an absolute sweetheart, the other staff I actually interacted with were really nice and polite too

The rooms are nearly soundproof so you aren’t going to be disturbed like in most hotels, only exception being just hearing other doors shut in the hallways Breakfast could use a little more variety for their hot protein but even that is really minor The western omelet is the best hands down It was also really cool they are pet friendly and let me bring my dog, though it’s be nice if their was more emphasis on pet fee and not deposit… I think I’m the one that misunderstood but either way A $25 dollar pet fee for how every long I had her with me isn’t something I’d find just anywhere, so bottom line I’m really glad my work placed me at this hotel

Leah DeMers

We stayed here while in town for a basketball tournament Hotel is new Large breakfast area

Staff was helpful We had a great experience However, some others in our party did not They didn’t check in as early as we did and ended up having to wait until much later in the evening think 10-11pm to check in because rooms still needed to be cleaned The hotel did give them the two night stay for free which made up for it in my mind (but then again, it didn’t directly happen to me) Breakfast was good Pool was awesome because of the slide The pool itself and the area is small for the size of hotel it serves The gym looked awesome from afar because I didn’t go in 🙂

Shandall Green

We arrived after making reservations and there was a mistake on the corporate side that the lady at the front desk worked to fix She resolved the problem over and above what I could have asked! Great customer service shows up when there’s a problem and she showed up! The rooms are basically sound proof which is really nice Our bed was soft and extra bedding was immediately available for the pull-out sofa

The pool and water slide were a treat for the kids The breakfast lady was quick to refill stuff that was out and did it with a great attitude Really great staff!Okay all that said, if I could give the corporate side who took my reservation a review, it’d be 2 stars I called the local number (not the 800 number) because I wanted to get info specific to that location and still got corporate because I didn’t hit zero The gal on the phone assured me multiple times, because I specifically asked multiple times, about the type of rooms I wanted Only, when we arrived, we discovered she had given me incorrect info about the type of rooms I reserved Then, when I was finished with the reservation, she asked me to stay on the line for a bit mentioning something about amex I told her I didn’t want a credit card, was reassured it was not that, then passed along to another person who tried to sign me up for a credit card They were both nice, though, so there’s that

Hampton Inn desperately needs to update this location The carpet and beds had a distinct “bad feet” smell The bathroom lighting was poor

The location itself was a dusty, shady parking lot The AC unit was insanely loud and temperamental The facility was not up to the typical standard of cleanliness at other locations If this had been a Comfort Inn or a Travelodge (or similar location) it would have been expected But it’s not Hampton Inn quality at all Save your money and try elsewhere

Raman Pfaff

One of my worst Hampton Inn experiences Thin walls, rather filthy on carpeting in hallways, kids were running around dropping pool towel in hallways while knocking on doors for fun

I never saw more than one person at the counter while I was there despite long lines at the counter Desk staff didn’t do well answering the questions of others Washer/dryer were very old models Thankfully they at least have the standard digital checkin

Tammy Hester

Staff entered our room 2 times unannounced, with the do not disturb sign o door knob First time I was on the toilet and second time I was in the shower Then a couple had a staff member outside our door claiming someone was in their room and my husband had to clear things up

Then 5 people had their luggage stolen from our tour group This place is not running properly

After a great experience at a different location, I booked 3 nights here When we arrived late in the evening we were not given the room we reserved The sheets in our room were dirty and there were holes in the sheets

The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes (I have pictures) I complained at the front desk and was told they couldn’t cancel our reservation without charges for the next 2 nights until I spoke with the manager Had to cancel before 11 but the manager didn’t come in until after that They didn’t care or offer any discount for giving us a dirty room I would never stay here again

Heidi Glood

Customer service was extremely poor There were no sheets, pillow cases, blankets or mattress cover for the pull out bed When I called the front desk and I asked for linens, as there were none, I was told that I would have to come to the front desk to get them

I told the front desk that this would not be possible as I had my young children with me The staff informed me that I would have to leave my young children alone as there was no way they could bring the linens to my room Watiki Water Park is no longer included with your stay and was an additional $104 for 3 children and 1 adult and that’s w a ‘discount’ for spending $300 for a suite on a Tuesday night You are not allowed to buy your passes at the hotel front desk; instead you have to scan a QR code, create an account, pay on a confusing web page, and then sign waivers for everyone in your group (Exactly what you want to do with 3 kids in tow at the end of a long day) Towels are $8 at the pool You are not allowed to pay cash for snacks at the arcade but you CAN pay cash to put money on the arcade card As you exit the water park, there are no signs to direct you back to your 1 out of 5 hotels on site No parking for the hotel near the entrances The only parking available was in an adjacent parking lot that was dark and full of construction equipment and vehicles Staff appeared to be more annoyed with customers than willing to help All said and done, it was a $500-$600 stay for a Tuesday night, a water park, a few arcade games, and 1 pizza No thanks!

Dee Bejarano

The hotel is clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful Because of the attached Waterpark, it is more of a family hotel So if you’re not a fan of the pounding of little feet running above you, maybe it’s not the place for you

Good thing most drop like rocks by 9p NONETHELESS, the hotel itself is nice and clean Thank you to the staff!

You get what you pay for, it’s a decent budget motel The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in The area was quiet and restful for being so close to the roads

Stayed in the lodge and the room smelled unpleasant and there was rust and dirty spots all over the bathroom I was left wishing I had brought shower shoes I also wished the bathroom fan had worked The fridge showed use from previous guests Also what you don’t see from pictures is the hair rising cross over busy one way highways necessary to get anywhere, including the main lodge This makes it not worth the hassle of breakfast unless it’s on the way Breakfast wasn’t even really a continental and we skipped it all but the first time Choosing to eat granola bars we brought with us instead I was also surprised there were only deadbolts on the door and no safety latchesIt’s fine, but the lack of maintenance and cleaning means I probably wouldn’t stay here againThere a lot of 5 star reviews, maybe we just got a bad room?

Laura Grassinger

I did lots of research before booking a place to stay for my trip I found this place which is centrally located to all the popular attractions I like finding places that are the most bang for your buck, as well as supporting mom and pop businesses when possible

This place did not disappoint It was clean, friendly service and free breakfast It will always have a special place in my heart since I got engaged in room #3 on my trip

Jake Farmen

Nice location off Hwy 16 near many tourist attractions Cabin and facilities are modern and clean Dishes, pots, pans, and utensils are provided in the cabin

Kid-friendly with a small playground Breakfast options are pretty simple, but there was a wide enough variety to keep my kids happy Will definitely consider staying again the next time we vacation in the black hills

This is a hard place to review

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the location is good and the place is reasonably clean I want to rate the staff at 5 because they really are great and accommodating I just don’t see the value in pricing with no continental breakfast, pool, or significant amenities The beds lack the bed bug protective covers and the hand sanitizing stations were often empty These are definitely things that should be tended to On the positive side, there is also a large fridge with top freezer in the room and a cook top range that makes for a convenient amenity Would I stay again? Not sure Would probably give it a second try

Holly R

We had a lovely 4 night stay here The room was sparkling clean and the beds were super comfy (with different firmness pillows to choose from!) The hotel is in a great location, slightly away from downtown but with easy access to the highway

Having the kitchen is great, it saves you so much money – just remember to bring cookware and utensils

Austin Atk

MILITARY MEMBERS I stayed in the My place hotel while my wife and I were waiting for on-base housing Our experience here was pretty good, the hotel came with stove tops and a microwave Though the fridge was smaller than most household refrigerators I think the size of the room helped compensate

I had to pleasure of meeting the owner and he agreed to lower my weekly rates to help match my BAH I am not sure of he will do this for all member, but he said he wanted our business, even without lowering my rate I was really only 200 dollars out of pocket a month The hotel cleaners kept the room clean, but we did notice that they wouldn’t always change the bed sheets which is reasonable to wash at least once a month The only bad thing that happened was near the of our stay, when the hotel accidentally changed our rate far beyond the extended stay rate All in all they over charged us for some 400 dollars and when we brought the concern up they said they’d refund us for the the difference They eventually did but it took almost a month and a half to get the refund back Overall a real solid place to stay if you have a small family and are waiting for proper housing

The hotel is clean Very reasonable on priceThey do allow animals

The staff sucksafter a long day of driving I would hope to be greeted by a person with a smile not someone who doesn’t even look at you I was impressed with my room but extremely disappointed with the front desk staff We arrived around 9:30 pm

Simon Baker

The bed was lumpy & hard Something was wrong with the sound on the TV The bathtub was scary

Shiny porcelain Very slipperyNothing to hang onto or slip control at all The toilet was very low to the groundVery cold pool Nice hot tubBreakfast was good Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, malted waffles, cereals, & pastries

Roshni Patel

Staff was friendly and I was in my room within a few minutes of arriving to check in There is a gym that has 2 bikes, a treadmill, and an elliptical They were all creaky and not the best but it served it’s purpose for a quick workout

I didn’t like that there was a large window that looked right into the swimming pool area though Felt a little awkward since there were a ton of people in the pool The beds were comfy and room was very clean so no complaints there Breakfast was simple but served it’s purpose There is a Marco’s Pizza attached to the building so if you want a quick bite, you don’t have to go far

We loved the pool, location and the hot shower The rooms were of good size and the beds were super comfortable So everyone had a good night’s sleep

😌On the negative side, the room was smelly, soiled towels were folded and kept in the bathroom and the breakfast was as good as nothingValue for money? May be not If you can get a good deal on the price then this place is a good recommendation

Bruce McKibben

Had to overnight due to medical This was close to hospital, and had used before Tail end of Sturgis definitely NOT the time to stay in Rapid City

Room was reasonably clean; usual dust and debris in corners Heavy breathing made it difficult to understand desk clerk to make reservation on phone Breakfast scrambled eggs were great Rest of food offerings, not so much Slight discount for medical Still triple cost of fall rates Overall overpriced

Brianna Julien

The bed was terribly uncomfortable The hallway leading to the room had a mildew smell The room overall felt filthy

From the smell upon entry to the mold in the bathroom The room smelled like it had been smoked in, the room was stained with smoke stains, the fire sprinklers had mold and rust around them The bathroom ceiling has mold coming out of the tiles, there was mold around the shower head, mold lining the walls The most absolutely disgusting room I have ever been in We checked in and out within 35 minutes of being there Absolutely horrifiedNot to mention the gym and the hot tub are out of commission…disappointed overall and definitely will not be staying at this location in the future

Roomy suite with a kitchen Everything was clean and seemed new The beds were comfortable

The shower had good water pressure and was high enough for tall people There is a nice back patio area to sit out by a fire Good location near the highways without the noise The breakfast and dinner service was staffed by extremely nice and helpful people The whole staff seemed committed to ensuring you had a great stay!

We loved our stay here We were on our way through Rapid City and made our reservation for the same day, the front desk staff was super helpful as we got in that eveningWe weren’t really expecting more than a bed and a tv but the suites are beautiful and clean

Full sized refrigerator and dishwasher in the kitchen along with plates/bowls/cups Dog friendly! The breakfast was great, waffles, cereal, eggs, oatmeal etc plus it was clean and sanitary They also had a great coffee/tea bar Would 10/10 recommend this hotel especially for an extended stay!

Checked in today and am SO very impressed with the beautiful room (like a newer apartment) with a full kitchen (full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes, microwave) and a beautiful lobby and outside area in back INCREDIBLY CLEAN!! SPOTLESS! Friendly front desk employees, and the whole place is immaculate! Have traveled from Washington state to Kentucky and back three times in the last six months and along different routes and have stayed at so many places that were not nearly this nice and a lot of them higher priced (some disgusting) and I really appreciate a CLEAN room Prices change seasonally but for around $100, this place is a steal

Stayed in Deadwood last night for $30 more at a top rated hotel and it was not nearly this nice or this clean Definitely recommend! Way to go Staybridge Rapid City!!

Quick hop off the interstate Loved that it was connected to the awesome water park, was a bit bummed the pools weren’t open later and the bar closes at 11 We were able to swim a bit more in the morning and check out the arcade before checking out AND they gave us a complimentary beverage that I used just in time for a relaxing beer right before they closed

Nice, clean and amazingly quiet Laundry machines worked well, front desk helpful, beds nice and firm but light shined through the door frame from the hallway and I should have brought a sleep mask Would definitely stay again

Matt Williams

The water park keeps our family entertained here and the hotel staff was excellent! DG at the front desk was awesome and helped me change my reservation when my plans changed suddenly

Also, the rooms were very clean The breakfast was really tasty too! Waffles especially are our family favorite! The kitchen breakfast staff was very friendly and quick to refill items that ran out- apply juice and waffle mix go fast She kept the whole area neat and clean Definitely plan to return in the future!

Rebecca Fisher

First off we didn’t know it had a water park! That made my kids day Second they have an excellent bar in which the water slide goes right through The slide has a transparent section so you can see your kids sliding while you have a drink

The staff was incredibly friendly as well! There are many things to do and discounts on all Water park was 20% off, drinks were but one get one free, breakfast is free, coffee is Starbucks and 15% offThe rooms are clean and beautiful Beds are super comfyThe front desk staff was so helpful and kind Jacob went above and beyond for us even offering to call up to our room once the water park reopened after being closed for lightening And because it was closed, they extended the passes through tomorrow morningWe will definitely stay here again and Jacob needs a raise!

If your in a pinch for a cheap room this place is alright My only real complaint would be the cleanliness of the room There were a number of flies in the room, and the bathroom floor was quite dirty

Otherwise the beds were comfy and the AC worked fine The wifi also didn’t reach our room, but that wasn’t a big deal as cell reception was solid

Tony Kuligowski

I have no idea how this place has such a high rating on Google The room was smaller than my dorm room in college It’s very dated

Extremely poor lighting in the room Parking lot is very cramped Bathroom is tiny and again very dated The biggest issue is the sink and tub were ridiculously slow draining The bathroom was clean but as soon as you take a shower the water comes up to your calves and then a bunch of hair and gunk comes up from the drain leaving you standing in filth I would only stay here again if it was the last bed in town The prices are cheaper than other hotels in Rapid City, but it’s more like a $40 a night motel

Amanda Pierce

This place will be our last resort due to a lot of reasons1) you book a head of time like we always do for a set price of 79 on snap travel each for 2 rooms 1 queen bed 2nd one double bed we get there our rooms was 179 each and they didnt even have us for a double bed room so when asked the lady said they was out only had single left even tho we done had them rooms booked for 3 months they said it’s new management 6 days in but knew everyone that came in for the stay also said they wouldn’t give us that price due to hand written receipts2) no coffee maker in room have to wake up walk to office to get a cup3) we go to take a shower no soap shampoo conditioner had to ask for it 🙄4)rooms are very small5) tv doesn’t have but 10 channels and most stay on commercials the whole time6) you have to clean your own rooms7) 1 of our rooms smelled of bug spray 👎8) the window in other room was cracked and tapedThat being said book if ya want too

For finding a place to stay for a central location was great My only problem was we were staying 5 nights Our room was never cleaned daily

We had to keep asking for clean towels and coffee Room had a funky smell We had to buy febreeze to kill the smell I had to keep emptying the trash in our room daily I’m not trying to sound picky But we have NEVER stayed where we didn’t have a daily clean

Marcia Terazzi Basso

I choose this hotel for two reasons, one being the location and second being the hotel styleThe hotel has a great location, downtown, close to lots of restaurants which you can walk to it There is also a good restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel

Room was good and modern looking Super clean and organized I was put in the far end of the hallway so it wasn’t loud However the heater (we went in March and was a little cold) is was super loud, but that is not news for me The nice thing is you can turn it off during the night so that was goodThis hotel is decent one, not too expensive and either too cheap Wifi speed was good, free parking, I got free breakfast at the restaurant bellow (which was 10 dollars per person) My room had two queen bed The only thing I can complain about is my room didn’t have a mini fridge Maybe some rooms have it, but mine didn’t so just fyi That didn’t bother me thoughI highly recommend this hotel is you are looking for in the middle range price

Dan Gruber

I brought my family here and we were not happy, rooms have no fridge no microwave, or the basic essentials that should be in a hotel room, the restaurant was closed for dinner and you had to pay for breakfast As a best western member 30+ years I’ve never seen a best western like this Never in my 30 years of staying at a best western have I ever had to pay for breakfast

The service is terrible and some are rude My family and I were supposed to be staying a few nights here and had already paid for the upcoming nights but we went to the front desk and told them to cancel the next few nights reservation and we stayed at a best western down the road which was amazing

No complaints here about this hotel! The rooms were very clean and had very nice comfortable beds! We also were able to choose what floor we wanted to stay on! The staff was kind enough to also let us bring our luggage early while we waited for checking in while we toured around town We also needed a place for our luggage for a couple hours after check out and they let us hold our bags there then too!It was great having a workout facility and a couple restaurants to hang out at as well during our stay! I highly recommend checking this place out!

Stayed here for a night with my team It was a very unique hotel and maintained very well Some of the decor was interesting

The room overall was extremely clean (a tad small) The service at the front desk was very quick and the staff were friendly Its in a great location In town, walking distance to everything Also downstairs is a full bar and a large Starbucks It’s a comfortable place to stay while in Rapid City

Kim Varney Chandler

We stayed here on a Wednesday night in July The hotel is historic and has an interesting history Our room was requested to be quiet and was on the third floor where most of the offices are

It was quiet It was also tiny The bathroom light and fan are attached to the same switch and the fan sounds like an airplane on liftoff Every time one of us was in the bathroom, the fan noise was deafening to whoever was in bed Other than that, the room was comfortable, and breakfast the next day was delicious The service was not particularly fast but the waiter was kind

We had an amazing stay I will say when we pulled up we were pretty nervous about what we were getting into when we saw it was under construction and many workers were parked in the parking lot However, to our surprise it didn’t interfere with our stay at all

The front desk gentleman was yawning the whole time and not really saying much, but the other lady was fantastic and interjected some information and was really kind to our daughter Maybe he was training? The pool area, hot tub, sauna, and fitness area were really nice The hotel room was clean and had plenty of space in the king/ sofa bed for the three of usAnd the breakfast??? amazing! Breakfast coupons were included with our room booking and kids ate free We ordered from a menu and all had great food Our server was also great The glass elevators and open concept really elevated the experience as well

Kurt

My experience here was awesome! Chris at the counter was extremely fast and helpful Quiet room, comfortable bed, fast elevators The breakfast was amazing and Mr Fajar my server was arguably the best I’ve ever seen

Nice job guys The hostess at the restaurant was also a complete Delight I’m not often able to give such a shining review!

With Covid I understand certain things couldn’t and can’t be done This hotel is dingy & very outdated Not the cleanest I’ve stayed in at Rapid City, by far

The elevator is horrible Extremely slow People said take the steps if you’re in a hurry My husband has two bad knees, climbing four flights of steps, not an optionA couple of the staff were very friendly & helpful Others, not so much! They want you to use towels three days, I’ll compromise on that They ask you to fill out a sheet & leave it on the door knob for any requests I left a request for trash to be emptied Not done No where for me to empty it, because the only one I could find was by the elevator, running over! Finally found a housekeeper & asked for trash to be emptied & felt like I was inconveniencing herLocation was what I was looking for, but too many other newer & nicer hotels close that I have stayed on & will return to in the future I’m out there 2-3 times a year

sydney Kaczmarczyk

The girl that was working at the front desk is extremely rude and inconsiderate My vehicle along with 2 other vehicles were broken into When I went up to the front desk to report this she did not acknowledge that I was there

I finally got her attention she barely glanced up and requested a manager Was told no manager was on site I then asked if there were any security cameras as the police were on their way I was told no and that I signed a piece of paper and that it was my problem She then told me to leave the lobby and she picked up the phone A manager did show up and was nice but this is an issue with the hotel and the police and locals all stated that their have been multiple break ins in the parking lot I think you are being totally irresponsible since this is a known problem and that as a corporation you have not addressed the problem This was the first day of our vacation and I am out 1k due to the damage to my vehicle
