Gabriella Kaecher (Gab)

Very convenient location Close to everything, only about 3 mi from the air force museum The rooms could use some updating

We had Jacuzzi room Room was very clean The staff was excellent Very friendly! The breakfast buffet was very good, a little something for everyone The staff that was stocking it was very friendly, coming around asking if everything was ok,and if we needed anything The pool was clean as well Overall, we were very pleased, on a side note, the rooms are not soundproofed at all We were on second floor and first night the room above us had someone that was up most of the night walking around, heavy footed which was quite annoying and a room next to us was a bit loud I always travel with ear plugs and a white noise sound machine so was able to lessen the noise Will definitely return again Very hospitable staff!

I could show you the room, but you can see that online After a long day of travel and work, I found this little gem of a hotel hidden Picked a room with the jacuzzi and relaxed! Although they were out of the wine, they offered some chocolate 🤷🏻‍♀️The view was especially nice because There was not a lot of traffic, so I could keep the blinds open and enjoy the peace and quiet

Breakfast was great, and checking out was super simple!I was a little hard to find, but I like the fact that it was hidden!

This was not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but it was quite expensive ($163+ for one married couple) and at that price it should be WAY better than it is! You probably want to know if I saw bed bugs – and fortunately, I didn’t, but everything else about the place is a LOW “C” grade OUR most maddening complaint was the comfort level – there wasn’t one We were there in May, with seasonal weather, and the place was stiflingly hot! The common areas on the first floor all felt like the pool room, and our room, on the 2nd floor was even hotter

The room AC (which was one of those wall-through units which CAN turn a room that size into a refrigerator) was locked on one setting I KNOW it was locked because NONE of the buttons would respond to any command – couldn’t turn it up, couldn’t turn it down, couldn’t turn it off – nothing! I’d say it was about 75 in there, which is just too high for us – especially after a shower Desk clerk said vaguely that all they could do was move us to another room Well we had to leave for an appointment very soon and I would have bet money that any other room would have been locked on 75 too – especially since the common areas were also uncomfortable, so we just put up with it for one night and found other accommodations for the rest of the trip

Big Daddy Uh Uh Lady

We stayed for 4 days The staff was EXTREMELY professional, kind, and easy to work with The lobby, the rooms, and the grounds were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable

They offered a very nice breakfast in the morning as opposed to other hotels blaming Covid-19 as being closed or the grab-and-go banana and muffin breakfast Our room was very clean This is a pet-friendly hotel apparently and they had small family reunions there We heard nothing on the second floor The GM was training a newer lady from the looks of it upon check-in We were accommodated VERY WELL against conditions from a previous hotel and made things work I wish I remembered their name but I suck as a human being They were VERY helpful and beautiful human beings The staff on cleaning, desk, and grounds looked like they actually enjoy the job and their work definitely showed that Thank you all for a PHENOMENAL stay

Nice property convenient to dinning and fuel Not too too far from the airport, but not close enough for them to provide a shuttle Not sure why Diamond members are not treated more special

Two bottles of water (less than a $100 value/cost to Hilton) and a first floor room, when my preference is the top floor I stay at some properties and water bottles are standard for all paying members Property was nice Employees were nice Nice gym, but every paying customer gets that Makes me question my loyalty to a brand that does not help Diamond members – me – feel special

Without a doubt best service experience I have had at any Hotel ever My girlfriend and I travel a lot for business and personal, and we needed this hotel on short notice We got in at 1am and the gentleman working was extremely kind and respectful, which is not a common experience anywhere at 1am

The following morning we encountered probably another 10 of the staff, from cleaning service to management, all said hello, asked about our stay, and even allowed us to take the single elevator in front of them When we come back to Ohio this hotel is top on the list

We booked our room a month in advance and paid for it We arrived late but called to be sure our room would be available and the desk assured us our room would be available because we had paid for it Well, they had already resold our room when we arrived and told us no refunds

They gave us another room with smaller beds and charged us again at a higher rate (our kids had to sleep on the floor) Sheila, the manager avoided our attempts to contact her for two weeks I had to call the corporate office to file a complaint and then she still avoided our calls (She was at the hotel when we called but conveniently unavailable) Finally I had corporate call her and put me on the phone with her She refunded partially the additional room cost but failed to make the situation right I informed her I had read the hotel policy on ethics I felt this was a violation She was rude and sarcastic, “I am surprised you can even read” was her reply There are many other choices for hotels in the area and I recommend you look past this hotel for one that treats their customers with more respect and offers solutions when they make a mistake instead of insults

Bobbi Spiegler

Serious remodeling needed Carpet wearing Curtains are older

A/C, heating system is loud Pluses are, beds are very comfortable Good breakfast, dining area was clean and well stocked The kitchen staff though one woman, did an excellentjob The gym had no sanitizer and equipment needed cleaning ie the only working treadmill Very pricey for the quality of the hotel

FinallyFennix

I will start off with some good notes The staff was very friendly and so were the patrons Their breakfast was big, with a lot of selection

That being said, this Hampton Inn is in shambles Every amount of furniture, in the rooms, halls and breakfast area is ripped, torn, warped, scuffed etc It feels very run down Not well kept AT ALL There is no Wi-Fi The air didn’t work in the room and was definitely not on in the halls/elevators Although it was not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, I would not recommend this hotel for anyone Pretty disappointed with the hotel and their price You don’t get what you pay for

Wonderful hotel adjacent to the Rose music venue This property was spotlessly clean, bright, modern, easy to get to, and right next door to the Rose music venueThe staff was friendly and helpful

They seemed to actually love their job The room was quite, cool, and clean The entire property had a clean scent The included hot breakfast was a welcome surprise and allowed us to hit the road home fasterIf you are attending an event at the Rose music venue, then this is the perfect place to stay No driving or parking Just walk over to the venue and avoid the long exit lines

Andrew Hager

New hotel Some rooms might feel on the small side but the higher ceilings and modern finishes and furnishings make it work just fine I thought the breakfast was good and everyone like watching the automatic pancake maker

They are not bad pancakes either I suggest starting breakfast at 6am for us early risers I like the open, community setup of the lobby with games and areas for semi privacy without feeling isolated I think that the finishes in the room I had will not hold up long and I hope Hilton keeps on top of the maintenance or replacement that will be needed

JR Edwards

Great location for concert goers It was great having a good time at the concert and no worrying about driving or catching an Uber However, for the price the room was too small, the bathroom was not clean very well, and the bed felt like sleep on a rock

If you planning on partying hard at the Music Center then this hotel is for you My wife and I, will try a different hotel

I usually give bad reviews because so many good reviews are fake or paid forBut when a business stands out I have to give 5 starsThis hotel was the cleanest hotel I have stayed in in the past 2yrs

I was checked in by Jason who was very polite and he went out of his way to help me out The next morning I had some questions and the morning manager Nicolle was very helpful and went above and beyondWill definitely be back if I’m in the area again Thank you for still believing in customer service in this day and age!

I made a reservation with the front desk at Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn I-675, an IHG Hotel I actually spoke with Shawn S to make my initial reservation and he was able to assist me in making a 6 day reservation

I later found out that he is fairly new at the Holiday Inn Dayton, but he was fantastic He was able to help me with everything I needed Today I called to confirm my reservation and I spoke with Christina N, who was extremely friendly and helpful too She took the time to email me information that I wanted/needed about my room status and cost Thank you IHG and Holiday Inn for hiring such friendly and competent people!

Lawrence Fletcher

My company sent me out here to train at a different store so I can come back home to run my new store The first day wasn’t that bad and the staff were really nice But, my second day is when I ran into problems

my company paid for the rooms and they just needed my card for the $25 charge just in case of accidents Understandable I would sayNope, not understandable at all to this hotel! They charged me $150 the second day I was there! “By accident” is what I was told I let it slide the second day and got my money returned to me the day after You would think it would end there! The morning of my money returning I got charged another $150 two more time!!! Not only that but I had a car payment to come out that same day and missed it because I was missing an additional $300 and still am! I was understanding the first time, but two more times in a day is ABSURD Not only did they take over $400 on and off throughout the week, but the room was subpar with nasty carpet spots that smelled everywhere and them fixing and rectifying my issue was as well Just a quick, “we’re sorry and it won’t happen again” is all I got They could have at least comped the room, free meals or anything to smooth over the blatant negligence of employee mistakes STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE Might as well be a truck stop or a motel at this point Least they could have done is one week free at anotjer owned hotel or anything to make me come back Goes to show you, you can’t trust all reviews on Google Zero stars if I could

The room was great Air conditioning worked well, the room was quiet, clean and spacious The continental breakfast was great and there was plenty of seating

My only gripe was with the fitness room Getting a half hour or so in on a treadmill is a part of my morning and this location had one treadmill that worked great, one that really needed maintenance and one that wasn’t working at all If there was more than one person using the fitness room, someone would be out of luck Otherwise, a great location Recommended!

Ashton Smith

Very clean and inviting as soon as you walk in Rooms were clean and a very good size! Pool was on the smaller side & no spa But kids still had fun

The main reason for the 5 stars is for THE STAFF! They were all so pleasant and helpful I’m never been to a hotel where every single person working acknowledges you and makes sure you have what you need and that your stay is going well

Seth O’Brien

Our room had a bed with big sag in it Bathroom door would not shut completely Looks to have settled or had water damage

Tile floor was also broken Public bathroom smelled horrible and had not been clean in the morning Pool was niceOther family said their room was great Breakfast was good

A wonderful place to stay When we checked in the staff was friendly and we entered the elevator which was clean our whole stay When we walked into our room it was completely clean

We were provided with lots of towels, a clean shower that has body wash and shampoo, as well as hand soap which was very soft on our skin and moisturizing The beds were very comfy in my opinion My mom would probably rate the beds 4 because they were “a little hard, but the pillows were good” The TV has quite a few channels and we watched The Office our whole stay We were also provided with a closet, drawers, and some shelves for our belongings As for the gym it was quite good They had an elliptical, a bike, some treadmills, and weights They also had a pool which we didn’t use My mom was disappointed that there was no hot tub but that’s okay There was also some coffee and tea bags provided and even a hot water maker so you could make it in the comfort of your room Overall a great stay even if we only were here for a night One last thing, breakfast was very good and had lots of options for drinks and food, and the staff kept up on making sure items were stocked and clean

Lexie Althore

Very clean! Great service and location Delicious breakfast I am happy staying here while I’m in town for work

I’m night shift and the blackout curtains are great and I haven’t had any trouble sleeping during the day between shifts I only wish I could use the pool late at night when I’m off with adult only hours, but it closes at 10

Arielle Willer

I wanted to like this hotel, but was disappointed Good things: nice lobby, nice hang out patio with gas fire fixture, spacious rooms, beds fairly comfortable Disappointing things: breakfast very simple affair and gets boring after 2 days, pool is absolutely frigid and unpleasant to swim in

My 3 year olds lips turned blue The front desk said it was set to 80 something degrees, but the pool room is blasted by the a/c, so it’s just extremely cold I overheard another guest saying it had been like that for months Pretty disappointing when one of the reasons we chose it was the indoor pool

Tru by Hilton was a nice place to spend the weekend while visiting my husband! The room was nice and clean, although I wish there had been a bathtub along with the shower and a bathroom fan – the towels did not dry out in between showers The free hot breakfast was good, although the pancake station was always very busy and a bit slow (online it said there was a waffle machine instead), but they were delicious Staff accommodating and quickly brought refills of eggs, hot cocoa, and coffee! Great back patio was fun to sit and relax

Wish we also used the pool table, but did not have time

Amazing staff Continental breakfast was enjoyed by all Location to the Air Force museum was perfect

Plenty of great restaurants and shopping close by We were a party of four Grandpa Grandma two grandchildren They enjoyed the pool very much The retro style of the rooms slightly on the smaller side But the recreation of the lobby was fantastic

I stayed here for a night and it was fine Not the best Residence Inn I’ve stayed and not the worst The sheets were scratchy (I had read this in a prior review and I wasn’t sure what that meant, but now I get it!) It’s an older hotel and could definitely use some updating and the carpets in the hallway in the stairway had some crumbs and could use some cleaning

The front desk staff was pleasant I was bummed they put me on the top floor even though I had requested a low floor I guess the hotel was sold out that night, so I get itWould’ve been five stars had the room and hallway been a bit cleaner and sheets a bit softer

Megan Arnold

The room is very nice I like the full kitchen and open area for the dining table I wasn’t impressed with the “cleaning”

When we showed up there was hair on the bathtub side and bottom The breakfast was the nicest variety I have seen, they even had gluten free muffins The pool is small but enough for the kids to play for a little while before getting bored But the location is right in front of a huge mall which we walked to numerous times There are tons of other stores minutes from this location if you needed anything (walmart, food etc) it’s real close We will be back

Rob P

Place needs some TLC Did not feel like a Marriott experience Many areas dimly lit

Many plug-in air fresheners used to stabilize common areas Guest Room needs a good detail cleaning Housekeeping was not available & hope this will change soon Nice recycle bin in room but didn’t see the same outdoors This is my 1st 2 star rating ever about a Marriott Hotel Over priced for being two stars

We stayed three nights from Minnesota to visit family and celebrate Kings Islands 50th birthday Very convenient to a myriad of restaurant choices The staff at this hotel was very good and room rate more than reasonable

Room was very clean and the beds comfy The hot breakfast was one of the best with choices of two meats- bacon and sausage The pancake machine was a clean way to make pancakes and the cinnamon rolls were very good The breakfast staff (two were working) were excellent staying on top of everything Mike at the front desk greeted us with great customer service we don’t seem to get much lately at other hotels He checked to make sure our room needs were met We will stay here again

Matt Furrow

Stayed for two nights visiting family in the area Prices were comparable to other hotels and the staff were friendly helpful The hotel, like most businesses in the service/hospitality industry was short staffed, but for the most part that didn’t impact the stay

Room was clean and comfy, and the location was nearby several other restaurants and had easy access to the highway

Elizabeth Rollins

The service was excellent! While inspecting my room I was personally texted and asked if anything was needed Which I ended up texting back and asking for a roll away bed Which was delivered quite quickly! Great service! After a rough waking because the ROTC was there as well

My breakfast was comped I will definitely stay here again soon

Great location and very clean room The staff was friendly and helpful as well The reason it is not 5 stars is because each morning they ran out of hot breakfast items by the time we got to breakfast which was still an hour from breakfast closing

In addition, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken and the elevator had an unpleasant pungent odor The cold breakfast selection was decent, but if the hotel advertises a warm breakfast, they should make enough for all of the guests

Katie L.

A friendly notice There is HOT BREAKFAST but you have to know who to ask to get it They keep it behind the counter, indicated with a little sign atop a food container

It will list your breakfast options and then you just ask the person at the desk to get you some Sometimes the option really sucks and other times it’s good I’m a contract worker and spend significant times outdoors working If you NEED a good breakfast like me to last you the day, I’d honestly just stay somewhere else unless you intend to make it yourself in the morning They are suite style rooms, so you certainly could given the mini kitchenette you have in your room Other than that, I still prefer the Home2 over the other Hilton options in the area For the space and comfort I feel, I think it ends up being worth it The Hampton Inn has great breakfast, however it’s a bit outdated Then the Tru is certainly nice but you get reduced amount of points for stays If you stay with Hilton to get points, then that could matter

Kerstin N.

Honestly one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had, and I’m pretty particular about hotels Quiet stay, big well-lot parking lot, free breakfast, lots of seating and space to spread out in the breakfast/lobby area The hotel suite itself was spacious and clean, and it seemed fairly new

I appreciated the use of reusable mugs/plates/bowls in the lobby to cut down on waste The workout room and pool were more open and inviting than most hotels I’ve come across We had a short stay but this would be a great spot for longer stays too

Ample free parking Room cleaned after 1st night and new/additional towels provided Front desk personnel were polite and friendly Free hot and cold breakfast provided each morning in good sized area for guests Hot coffee provided via machine/dispenser was very good flavor wise My wife and I would stay here again anytime All in all stay was pleasant

This is a great, well cared for hotel For the price point, they offer a great free breakfast bar with your stay that they actually maintain and refill during breakfast hours The breakfast area is open all day and you can hang out there if you get take out from somewhere local or for playing games, hanging out, etc

The pool is well maintained The room was clean and didn’t have a musty smell as some hotels can that have AC units in themThe employees were helpful and kind I would recommend this place for travel multiple nights for more than just a place to sleep, but somewhere you could hang out after businesses are closed and feel comfortable

lyle Wittmann

I travel for work and stay exclusively at Country Inn This hotel is always clean and I have no issues with the room whatsoever The owners/employees I can’t say enough great things about

Every time I request or needed anything, it was provided or taken care of quickly The staff is always so polite and very attentive when I see them One even brought two freshly cooked cookies to my room just because I mentioned earlier in the day how good they were This is my experience at this hotel now for the past two two week They count on my return business while I’m working in Ohio

The hotel/rooms “look” nice but that’s about itAfter a long travel, the desk clerk was extremely rude and short while checking in As I was confirming our room she answered the phone mid conversation and ignored my questions after handing me the room keys

Not to mention every clerk throughout the weekend looked as I’d they had just rolled out of bed So unprofessional Our room space and bed were decent, however the shower ran out of hot water after 5 minutes every evening and the counters/surfaces were not cleaned/wiped down from the previous guests With Covid, I would expect a hotel to be on top of their sanitizing game We had to shower as quickly as possible which was not relaxing at all The toilet wouldn’t flush correctly so we had to press the lever twice every time Breakfast wasn’t available for the weekend and the pool was closed due to “humidity making the fire alarm go off”The elevators rarely worked as well For the price we paid, we would expect at least decent hospitality, a clean room, access to amenities and a warm shower to relax in after traveling If I were a Hilton I would be ashamed to have my name associated to this place

We travel often for travel baseball, and we prefer to stay at Hilton Garden Inns This one has a very fantastic, positive, helpful staff, but the hotel could use some improvements Definitely way understaffed

We stayed for 3 nights Not enough pool towels The cleaning staff and the breakfast staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed (but still super friendly) Please give Tania a raise – she went above and beyond for my family Thermostat never worked right in our room (507) Breakfast was great but the voucher system is a pain At previous Hilton Garden Inns, you just give your room number and order If we paid for breakfast with our room reservation, we shouldn’t need vouchers (that we weren’t even given upon initial check-in) This hotel could learn a lot from the one in Carmel, IN! Would love for both managers to chat with each other someday about their hotels!

Rooms are very nice, front desk was very nice The reason I’m giving lower then 5 star is because nothing grosses me out more then random hairs that don’t belong to me With that being said I have a suggestion, either use paper towels, a Swiffer, or vacuum the hairs before you mop

Also the pillows were like a big puff of air No support So maybe bring your own pillow The staff was very nice and when we checked out the lady that my husband spoke with at the front counter deserves 5 stars on customer service We would possibly stay here again

Terrific rental in a great little town Just 12 hours in Yellow Springs was kind of like Oz without the glitz Suites were perfect

I didn’t think we needed a full kitchen but the paper towels came in handy after a spill in the truck Had a terrific beer two blocks away and coffee I the morning was paid for by the person in front of me Nice! And Bob was really helpful

Hotel could use a thorough cleaning The carpet was filthy through out the hotel Our room had a very strong odor perhaps because they allow pets at the hotel

Our couch was very stained, and we didn’t want to sit on it Mold on wallpaper in bathroom and it was peeling No mattress pad on bed and toilet ran the entire time No wonder the room rate was $89 a night Not a good experience, I felt so unclean staying at this hotel Can’t believe it was a Marriott

First time staying in a Marriott hotel, was not a terrible experience, but was honestly expecting a much better stayThings I thought was great:1 Taylor greeted us very professionally at the front desk, she was nice and patient and wished us a great stay

This and the warm welcoming atmosphere at the lobby really left a good first impression!2 Staff were really quick to help We couldn’t find the hairdryer and the shampoo in our bathroom was running low, but we were quickly helped and the staff that kindly sent these items up to us were very nice3 Our check in time was supposed to be 4:00 PM, but I was notified that our room was ready for us at 9:00 in the morning, which was a nice surprise!Things that were not so great:1 At first glance, our room seems nice, but after a quick walk through, we noticed stains on the wall and on doors, a moldy bathroom, leaky showers (our bathroom door was flooded with water), dirty mirrors, and unclean bed sheets Was disappointed since we were really expecting more from a Marriott hotel, and I don’t think this meets the standards of a Marriott hotel2 Hard water We were not able to wash our hands or our bodies clean because of the hard water3 Wifi Our phones worked fine, but our laptops weren’t able to connect, not sure why4 My card was overcharged by 30 dollars, front desk said it should fall off in 3 to 5 business days, but that was an unpleasant surprise

Deb Kirby

Rooms (king suite) are nice size But ours had SEVERAL stains, on everything Carpet, pull-out sofa cushions were pretty gross

Worst thing was the SHOCKING amount they charged us for 2 dogs under 20 pounds each $75 for first one, additional $50 for second dog $125!!! If we hadn’t been dead tired and needing a place to rest right away, we definitely wouldn’t have stayed here We have NEVER been charged such an exorbitant amount for pets ANYWHERE Will never stay at this chain again

Located conveniently off 1-75 in Dayton (South) and close to lots of casual restaurants The staff were friendly and personable The actual hotel has been completely redone and is nice top to bottom

The space is bright and clean Enjoy their complimentary hot breakfast, coffee and tea There’s a small area where computers are available, a small indoor pool, an ice machine and an awesome new filtered water station Our room was clean and the updates are smart and beautiful Lots of space to sit, work, kick back in your room or in the lobby area Our room had lots of space for putting personal items Highly recommend Not cheap, but also affordable and definitely bang for your buck when other hotels are more expensive or cheaper, but not super clean or nice This location is exactly 1 hour from downtown Cincinnati and much more affordable than most of the hotels in Cincinnati We were heading north anyhow so it worked well for us Thank you for a great stay If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again!!

We stayed here for 8 nights while in town for my son’s graduation The staff was super accommodating to our needs even got us a fridge for our room It is an older Red Roof and the electricity is not updated yet to handle a fidge in every room at this time

We were able to all the extra pillows and blankets we needed to make us comfortable All the staff is super nice Overall the rooms are nice, just need a few touch ups here and there They are super clean I carry a special black light that can detect bodily fluids and I didn’t see any all all anywhere I was very pleased with our stay Would definitely stay here again when I come back to visit my son in the future

The room was clean and that is the main thing We stayed in a double queen The beds were comfortable

The room was a little on the small side We stayed on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator, so it was a pain to cart our stuff up the steps You should be aware the room has no fridge or microwave, a major draw back with kids We stayed here because we needed a pet friendly hotel The bathroom was very small and the tub would not drain The only give you 2 pillows per bed and they are very poor quality, so I recommend bringing some extra pillows The price is reasonable and the room is clean but it’s lacking in room amenities and the slow drain on the tub is a pain

Kayla Keefner

DIRTY! Shortly after checking in we noticed green on a sheet which looked like bile/vomit and asked the front desk for clean sheets which they provided and they were very accommodating While changing the sheets we noticed huge stains all over the mattress which were disgusting! At this time we decided to check out and find another hotel and the front desk staff and I’m assuming manager were very nice about it, but we will NOT be staying again The pictures online are very deceiving! Beware! It looks remodeled on the inside but clearly very dirty
