I love this hotel! The location is awesome! Its within walking distance to the river if you want to take a dip or paddle board Its also a 2 minute walk to the heart of historic Folsom which is a great area for food and drinks So if you want to get a bit of a buzz at the local watering hole(s) and not worry about taxis or driving then this hotel is perfect! The rooms are basic, clean, and quiet
The ceiling and walls are a bit thin and I did get woken up by some thunder foot person walking around like a caged tiger but its generally quiet The bathroom doesn’t have a fan so bring some matchesThere is a bar that has food inside the premises but it closes pretty early I read some of the bad reviews and I get it people love to complain but I have traveled the world and spent some nights in a few truly terrible places none of which come remotely close to this older hotel! I highly recommend this place!

We bicycled from Sacramento to Folsom and stayed at Lake Natoma Inn for two nights All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful The room was comfortable and clean
They even allowed us to keep our bikes in the room We had dinner at their restaurant and it very good and filling In fact, we had leftovers that we stored in the room’s refrigerator The location is accessible to the old town We visited the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park that is just a short walk from the hotel The park is a must see with very informative docents
My Card Art
I travel a lot and one of my favorite hotels, without having to spend an arm and a leg in this town, is this hotel Clean rooms and since I am an avid swimmer, the pool is a must for me The staff here have always been so nice to me
Big smiles and friendly greetings I like the location here as well, because when I rent a car, I can access a lot of places and still be close to this hotel Also, plenty of food places around without having to go very far I would recommend this place for sure š

Prudence I
I stayed here overnight due to work travel and other hotels being sold out This property is VERY overpriced ($ 253/night) for the lack of upgrades in the room The rooms are not updated, the hallways are very narrow, rooms don’t have microwaves, the fridges won’t close, and they charge for parking
This property spent it’s money updating things like the landscape, lobby, and workout area, but the rooms are less than standard My food spoiled because the fridge wouldn’t close well and my room had no microwave and they didn’t have any spare ones when I asked for one I stayed there for work but would absolutely not return to this property Location is good but that’s about it for the pros Would NOT recommend this property to anyone, as there are nicer properties in the area for a much better price
Jacob Harrison
Took 15 Minutes for anyone to come to the front desk for check-inThe refrigerator/TV Stand was directly in front of the AC making it difficult to cool downI donāt know if this is a new COVID thing but I requested housekeeping to come on our second day and they did not make our bed nor give use new linens
Pricey for the lesser service and the same amenities of a DoubleTree

I had a fantastic stay here The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful The room was clean and much more spacious than I expected
The A/C worked great, which is important in Folsom in July On the third floor, it was very quiet, even on the weekend The interior is somewhat dated, but they nailed the important parts (clean, quiet, comfortable)
Joshua Rothschild
Clean hotel but definitely in need of a refresh Furniture in the public areas is pretty beat up and not very clean Super slow elevator so we took the stairs all the time
Decent pillows and mattresses, very small TV’s Nice quiet AC units The breakfast was quite a let down Very limited choices The scrambled eggs looked like they were ground in a food processor after they were cooked and very bland Some of the worst coffee ever Pool was closed which they did not mention when I placed the reservation Very nice helpful staff though Close to many restaurants and shops
Andrew Blanc
Not the best stay at all Our athletic team was staying at this hotel and all of our keys failed to work 5 minutes after we received them from the front desk After being reprogrammed, 2 hours later, and they didnāt work again
Very disappointing The pool complex is also closed until May 31st Breakfast was actually better than expected, fresh waffles and more options than usual Overall not the best stay though, and, for the money, you can find much better

Stayed here for two weeks while attending training The good: pretty much everything you need is within walking distance (restaurants, shopping and a multi-use trail), full kitchen with dishwasher, and free washers and dryers The not so good: it is dated but functional, with the kitchens it can get a little noisy if your neighbor decides to cook up a late night meal
While most of the staff was friendly, I do have to say the guy at the front desk I picked up breakfast from twice is probably the most surly hotel employee I’ve ever come across If you’re that miserable that can’t say good morning to a guest or thank you when they hand you a tip for the breakfast you really need to rethink your career status I guess it shows how shallow the hiring pool is right now
Tony Lopez
I stayed at this hotel on June 24 and 25th 2022 It was the second time Iāve stayed at this hotel and I can tell you by far one of the best experiences in Folsom! I have stayed at other hotels in the Sacramento area and at this point will choose no other⦠Even if it means a longer commute into the Folsom Area! The cleanliness, staff, and amenities are unmatched And for the price it is an exceptional stay! Thank you Lord for landing for providing me up with amazing hospitality and service

I can’t say enough how happy I was with my stay Even if it was pretty costly, I enjoyed the King suite offered to military! I had a bit rough check-in, because staff wasn’t sure if housekeeping got to the top floor to clean suites, but everything worked out in the end I had a long flight and just wanted to sleep
I actually slept an entire day undisturbed, thanks to the comfortable bed, quiet floor and coziness of the room The room comes with all the amenities you would find in a fully furnished studio apartment I like that the bathroom is kind of open off from the room and the toilet is separated from the rest No one wants to remember the bad smell while washing their hands lol Again, pretty taken back how great this room was, and I love that its location is centrally located near great shops and restaurants Walmart and Chick-fil-A is right down the road (you can never go wrong with these two)

I liked this hotel The reception was excellent The room were clean and spotless
The 3 stars are for the parking spaces They should make these other guys drive a truck with the trailer and a big utility trucks park out on the street Instead, they parked in the lot taking up 4-5 parking spots Yes, I end up parking out on the street
Andrew Zelechoski
The hotel itself looked pretty good from the outside but I quickly found out they are currently doing renovations and remodeling on the third floor (The same floor my room was on) I constantly had to contend with the smell paint, sawdust and whatever chemicals they were using
I was not told ahead of time of the ongoing/active renovations and if I would have known I probably wouldn’t had stayed here Also my room on he third floor had no hot water which I only discovered the day I was checking out when I tried to take a shower I brought this to the front desks attention and they seemed concerned and apologized but didn’t offer any sort of compassion or compensation for my hardship Overall I was very disappointed in my stay as they was a lot of repairs and renovations being done thru the hotel and things just seemed disarray Not a bad hotel there was just too much going on for me to really enjoy my stay
Robert Velasquez
The staff here is friendly and great you with a smile but the rooms are a bit worn outThis place is being remodeled so the gym and pool were closed, and the area surrounding the hotel is packed with homeless so I couldn’t go for a run I would not stay here with my family because of the surroundings

Let’s face it, if you’re staying here, it’s because of budget concerns That being said, the rooms are spacious and clean The bed in the room that I got was stiff and very springy, some might like that but it’s not my cup of tea
You will be in a bad neighborhood, but they do have parking lot security that makes their presence known Walls are not very sound resistant If you’re coming on business or traveling solo, it’s an acceptable place to stay I would not bring family
Calla Flower
The lobby area was ok but the room that I got was dirty They don’t do a good with cleaning I had just checked in
It was around 5pm already when one of the cleaning ladies tried to open my door she must have a master key it was a good thing that I used the lock-lever on the door to secure the door from the inside When she couldn’t open the door she said something in Spanish and left The carpet is worn The elevator is old and shakes
Vladimir Gusiatnikov
This is a budget place Some Hamptons are fancier and this ain’t one Rooms are clean and well kept, showing some age
Beds are comfortable enough, pillows are basic If your room faces the freeway, you’ll get freeway sounds Unlike a previous reviewer, I didnāt find the neighborhood “bad”, it’s a working-class Sacramento hood, but then my tolerance is likely higher than that of most There is a sizable bank of EV chargers in the parking lot Some were ICEd out but not to the detriment of the several EV-owning guests Both of the two chargers I used worked in a straightforward way, price is $029/kWh I don’t know what the top charging speed is

Stayed at this hotel for the night The room was clean and cozy Large bed and sofa from which to watch TV, also in the room was a refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning and telephone
But when i arrived 10 minutes before the end of breakfast, they closed the refrigerator with yogurt and started cleaning up, so we had to have breakfast elsewhere
Kelly J
I booked a room through Chase rewards, and due to my 3 year old spiking a high fever and a baseball tournament being canceled in Rocklin, CA, we were trying to rebook for the following weekend Not even necessarily cancel and they are unwilling to help or change the booking $180 (overpriced) down the drain
My family and friends and whoever reads this, please do not support these inconsiderate people who do not know how to efficiently run a business (or maybe they do because they got a whole $180) but we will not be returning or giving any business to ANY comfort inns Go somewhere else, youāll be better off I even called the hotel and they were not helpful and even gave a āI donāt careā type attitude/tone over the phone

We had to stay while waiting for our house to close escrow The staff made it feel like home They were warm pleasant helpful and always available
We loved all the accommodations of the hotel including the kitchenette living room area and bedroom area made private by a curtain Even our dog grew comfortable here She was treat pleasantly by staff and guests alike The daily breakfast options were wonderful and the coffee was awesome Even the fresh fruit in the water pitcher was a delight I canāt say enough great things and would definitely stay again
Joshua Soldo
This was a great stay Relatively new place, rooms were basic but nice Minimal fitness room, but definitely workable
Continental breakfast was pretty good, and service was outstanding Juliana was very attentive and helpful, and Lindsey was nice and accommodating Has a pool, but didn’t get to it I was informed that booze will be for sale in the lobby soon (if you’re into that), and there will be a BBQ food truck there Mondays and Tuesdays (I think those were the days) in the near future Would stay again
Audrey C (Andy The Sony Fan)
The service was great, very friendly/sweet staff The room was beautiful and VERY clean, they have everything you need from extra pillows and blankets, to literally a kitchen sink Plates, cups, eco friendly, and its quiet
We stayed on a Friday night and it was packed but completely silent Decor was cute, and I’ve never seen more counter space in my life The only thing I can think of that someone might be upset about is the size of the bathroom Compared to everything else it was pretty small but super clean and well put together Highly recommend giving a try if your looking for a quiet clean space that has everything you could think of and more

Hotel was nice and clean but the noise level was extremely bad They need springs on doors to rooms so they don’t slam shut every time We were on the street side and you can hear the cars
The rooms are nice but after the second night there was a young group of men in room next to us that came late from Casino and was extremely loud after 11pm We called desk they wanted to move us but too late we decided to go home by that time They need to soundproof rooms We thought this would be our go to place but unfortunately it will be the one and only time we stay here

This Holiday Inn Express is one of the nicest I’ve stayed in We had a king suite and the design of the room and quality of the design was much higher than most of the Holiday Inn Express hotels we have stayed in The people at the front desk were all very friendly and helpful
The breakfast had a good variety of items, and the pool was refreshing to cool off in The lobby and breakfast room are also nicely designed

I have been coming here for 3 years with my company and have had nothing but great experiences The staff has always been great and Christopher working the front desk is the absolute nicest and most helpful person when ever you need anything All other staff is great, rooms are clean and quality, and the front patio area is great for grilling and hanging out in long stays
Out of all the Residence inns Iāve been in this is by far my favorite, keep doing what youāre doing!
nick satwicz
Incredible staff and a great experience We came to the Residence Inn last minute after a travel delay and couldnāt have had a better experience The room was everything we needed and more: with a full kitchen, expansive bathroom, comfortable bed, and large TV
The amenities and breakfast on site was top notch Most of all, the service was excellent Jacob, from the front desk, took care of everything we needed and went above and beyond at all times to make sure we were taken care of Truly one of the best hotel experiences weāve ever had because of Jacobās caring service throughout our stay Absolutely would stay here again
Christopher Graves
Iām giving a 5 star because the hotel is brand new and I love the Marriott brand As Iām nearly a titanium elite member, they have always and continue to provide exceptional service and this is no different at this property HOWEVERā¦do not stay here unless you donāt mind an extremely hot room
When we got into our room it was 74° inside and because California is maniacal about emissions, the air will not come on until a guest is present in room More importantly even with the air on we never broke 70° This is extremely uncomfortable for my family and I and I feel that customer satisfaction should be most important I cannot confirm or deny that the thermostat may have been bypassed, however one would speculate that even if it had, it still could not get lower than 70°Cleanliness was a small issue and it wasnāt anything that was visible to first look We moved one of the end tables away from the bed and behind it was a lot of trash To me itās not that big of a deal but others might not appreciate that so muchOtherwise this property is conveniently located near many shops and big box stores and as I said appears to be fairly new One highlight was the breakfast bar Very clean Well prepared food and plenty of stock for all taste buds!Again, Marriott delivers just about every time but the cooling is an issue*edited* this is the first property that doesnāt respond to reviews (Not many anyways)

Honestly if we plan another trip that way this will be the place we stayThey have a small restaurant and bar and Cafe It’s perfect Also the grounds are well kept and it’s a great walk around the court yard The fire pit is also a great place for a glass of wine and a moment of peaceAlso if you want to venture out there is plenty to do and see around hereThank you for the great service and stay

This team is clearly very well trained and adopts a consistent and unique culture I spent 2 nights on business and have a pretty high status with Marriott, so I have a pretty good perspective The associates are super friendly, on point and focused on the guest experience
My room was exceptionally clean and buttoned up – I also appreciated the upgrade!Management team is solid and attentive

Lots to choose from in this area so I thought Iād try a new one First time here and I spend a lot of time in Marriott properties Room smelled like sour milk
I always use the stairs and each floor had itās own unique odor sort of like a cleaning rag that has been used a bit too long Parking is insufficient if you arrive late The food court staff is super friendly and while you have to pay, itās much better than the reheated frozen stuff most places are dishing out since Covid Very convenient to freeway and dining is a short walk

First off, let me preface this review by saying the staff that I encountered were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with The room was clean and well stocked What I love the most is the hot showers in the morning
Usually, less accommodating hotels skimp on items like the soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap I can’t remember the brand of toiletries but it was amazing, smelled amazing, and made me happy in the morning Big thumbs up! Breakfast was served as described My only wish is that they offered more vegan options I had to use the “business center” which was a computer by the front desk Luckily every time I had to use it, there was no one there And big plus, they let me print for free Some places charge which is super irritating The reason for the three stars is that I had to extend my stay which carried over through the weekend The rate that was charged to my card was agreed to and it was a 30% increase to the normal weed day rate Then early Sunday morning I get a call from the front desk which stated that my card was declined I explained the situation and they said “well that charge was incorrect and you slept there so now you have to pay” I run to the bank and take care of the balance What else was I supposed to do? When it was all said and done the weekend rate was 40% more than what was originally charged This may not be a big deal to some but we were staying there a few days as we had just gotten evicted I know its a bit too pricey, but I wanted to maintain some normalcy for the children and the location was in between our old home and the new storage facility Anyways, blah blah blah, sob story, I know just wanted to throw that tidbit of info in there as to why this 40% increase was a HUGE deal The stay was lovely, the overnight staff were great! They gave me coupons for restaurants nearby I can’t remember the lovely lady at the front desk She was blonde and we swapped stories about our husbands, gas prices, and the heat She was great and the other tall young man who wants to be a firefighter, he was super nice too! So long story short make sure to confirm the rates before they charge your card because they will charge you more without even discussing it with you first I think its wrong for the customer to be penalized for their accounting error especially for recently displaced families on a budget

$12 parking fee? For what? You’re a side of the road hotel with small rooms and a dated motif (haven’t seen a Fairfield with this color scheme and decor in years) A 22″ LCD tv? What am I supposed to do with that unless I’m sitting 2ft from the screen? And on top of all that, there is no onsite fitness center The Courtyard they share the parking lot with allows you to use theirs
I’ve seen even the most budget motel attempt to offer an area for fitness I get you’re near a water park and a short drive to shops and restaurants, but nothing so unique as to warrant an unadvertised parking fee

Had a 2 night stay here in a2 bedroom suite The suite was very comfortable and the bedrooms and attached bathrooms were roomy They actual serve a real hot breakfast with a scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and home fried potatoes
If you’re not into a big breakfast they also have a nice selection of cereal and yogurtThe 2 issues I had with the facility was the parking fee – it’s in an area with lots of places to eat and they don’t charge for parking We could have just parked on the other side of the median and avoided the fee The second issue was in the 3 days and 2 nights we were there nobody vacuumed the staircases with had all kinds of dirt and crumbled food items on themOverall a nice place to stay and one of few places that has 2 bedroom suites I’d stay there again if I was in the area

We spent over a month at this site while undergoing home renovations It was a convenient location and priced at marketThe facility is a bit tired and in need of updating
The rooms are fine, but just Due to “staffing” rooms were serviced weekly or upon scheduled request Sometimes availability was days out Pool closed for maintenanceThe bright spot was the staff Friendly, responsive, and professionalOH The wifi was very good too
Rich Bromberg
Great location, friendly and helpful staff Hotel is clean, lobby area is modern Butā¦Hotel rooms are very small and dated, which is obvious from the photos so you should be ready for that
The one bedroom suites are too small for a queen size bed – almost impossible to walk around the bed Better off getting the studio since it has the same square footage Another issue are the lights surrounding the property – very large, and light up the rooms at night Finally, the breakfasts are all pre-made, wrapped and in a steamer, so you get soggy, egg McMuffin style food Not much selection
