The entire experience there was spectacular, relaxing and just amazing The two room hotel that my mom and I stayed in was clean, smelled good, and was beautiful The beds were comfy

It had a coffee pot There was a super big tv available with all the channels one would wantBut there are two special people who work here and that is the hotel manager Nikki and the overnight front desk agent Andrew Nikki has so much compassion, class, and honor She really helped my mom and I out when we had an home emergency She was right there with her warmth and understanding Andrew also was a true gentleman overnight He was cool, caring and funnyIt was a memorable experienceHighly recommend a stay there

I booked 2 rooms when I got my confirmation it only had 1 room so I called to make sure I had 2 rooms I confirmed on checking in I attempted to book 2 rooms only received one confirmation I was charged for two rooms and then I received an additional charge 2 days later for another room and was unable to get a manager to talk to me to take to charge off

In addition to that the 1 room had a terrible smellterrible service and no follow uphad to call my credit card provider to dispute false charge

I hoped for much better I decided to stay here based on being a Hilton member and expecting a basic comfortable room The room was great on the cleanliness side and the amenities were okay which were fine weather decent room setup

The problems were the basics The bed and pillows feel like they were from a cut rate hotel complete with squeaky springs in the bed Very uncomfortableThe hot water was inadequate as well The water barely got warm on the first morning, and a little bit better the second The third morning it was better but it was also later in the morning The explanation was that everyone was probably trying to shower at the same time For a major hotel chain that should not happenThe location worked out well for me but I’ll be considering other options next time down

A very nice hotel for extended stays and short trips I was here for a couple weeks and the room was very spacious and well laid out Light switches took a minute to figure out and the bed side lights were a little brighter than expected

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming and made it a point to greet me whenever our paths crossed The amenities included a well stocked breakfast every morning, featuring fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy, warm biscuits, hot and cold cereals, fresh fruit, juices, toast, and lots of coffee! The hotel also features an exercise center with treadmills, stationary bikes, an elliptical machine(I believe), and a free weight rack with some benches There was always cleaning and sanitizing supplies on hand as well This is a wonderful hotel offset right beside the 695 entrance and just off one of the main roads through Towson, so access to comings and goings are very simple I thoroughly recommend this Holiday Inn Express if you’re stopping or staying in the Towson/Northern Baltimore area

Kenyon Bajus

Clean and comfortable Didn’t bother using the WiFi, gym or pool Free breakfast had lots of options

Eggs could have been better Front desk staff was friendly and pleasant Booked adjoining rooms, but they weren’t available upon arrival Close to the city with free parking seemed like a better option than staying in the city and dealing with parking garages Overall fine stay

I booked a short one night trip for my little girl’s first birthday party The staff was great and notice it was just my two girls and I so they helped me out tremendously Can’t thank them enough for being so kindhearted and professional

I would definitely recommend staying here when you travel Rooms are definitely as advertised and very clean I could smell the cleaning products Very nice establishment and breakfast was great I’ve stayed in plenty of Hilton hotels but so far this is my favorite stay Definitely coming back Thank you again

Sonia

Was super excited to stay at this hotel and picked it because of its great location and proximity to the inner harbor The architecture inside and outside is so pretty & very historic The front desk manager (Ralph) however managed to take away from our experience on the very first day

He couldn’t care to talk to a customer who was waiting in the lobby for 20 min for a valet In his opinion, the customer should have come to him and asked for help instead of waiting for the valet When my husband asked for help because of the long wait, Ralph tried to justify the long wait My husband is a Diamond member and stays at Hilton hotels every week He knows the ropes and understands good customer service and quick resolution of problems Ralph kept trying to explain his point of view (regarding the long wait for parking) in an effort to argue his case and prove us wrong Ralph also made a mention of the fact that my husband probably didn’t understand his explanation very well! Having travelled the world and having stayed at some of the best Hilton hotels, I can unequivocally say that this manager represented the hotel chain very poorly!!!Here’s a tip for Ralph: When a customer is unhappy about a situation, apologize and fix it instead of justifying yourself and then coaching the customer about what they should have done differently!!PS Received an email & phone call with management who apologized and tried to make it right…appreciate the effort!

Laura Scarbrough

Everyone working at this hotel was so nice Valet, front desk ladies, cooks, housekeepers, etc The hospitality was on point

The rooms were super clean The breakfast was fabulous every day The location is PERFECT and just a short walk to the harbor The pool was so warm and we had it to ourselves! We will stay here everytime we’re in Baltimore now Thank you so much for making our vacation so much more delightful

This hotel is in a great location in Fells point I’ve stayed here in the past and had a great experience, but this time I was really disappointed with the housekeeping We checked in and our bathroom walls were covered in light brown liquid

I asked the front desk to have it cleaned and the person cleaning still missed spots of this brown liquid on the wall I noticed at bedtime our sheets were stained The next day housekeeping didn’t show up at all The front desk was supposed to send towels up, but that didn’t happen either Overall, the front desk staff was very nice, and I think the hotel is cool and in a great location I hope the housekeeping issue is addressed because it definitely negatively impacted our stay

Austin McAfee

Very cute hotel Good location if you choose to go out earlier in the eveningOnly complaint is that the hotel is still living in the past

A simple example is that the TV doesn’t even have a guide You literally have to scroll through channels like it’s the 80’s This may have been sufficient in the past, but it’s 2022 for God’s sake Most other hotels are offering free streaming services, but I can’t even get a guide for basic cable here You only realize the conveniences of most places after another place lacks themAdapt to the times please

John Hollis

Marisa and Jack were exceptional, made me feel right at home and were super friendly and personable Rooms were very clean and I enjoyed the historical significance of the hotel and the look of everything too The lobby transports you back to a simpler time and everything looks fantastic

The GM Jonathan has done a mighty fine job Also got to meet Mary, the controller, what a down to earth and majestic person, so polite and informative I’ll definitely recommend AFI to all I know visiting Charm City

We really enjoyed our stay here The hosts are absolutely lovely and so very interesting The breakfast was excellent

Our room was very comfortable and quiet I was amazed to learn that the inn was sold out because I didn’t hear any other guests It was only when I saw others at breakfast did we realize we were not alone I will stay here again and recommend it to others

My stay at Wilson House B&B was three years in the making, but more than worth the wait I enjoy old charm and turn of the century hotels and houses I had found Wilson House while viewing the Baltimore 10-Miler race start/finish and route

It is perfectly central to the light-rail line serving BWI and Amtrak station, eateries near the art college campus, local eateries down the street, and Druid Hill Park – the race start/finish I stayed two nights Clelia is a delightful, dutiful host Wonderful stories to share, enjoys talking about the multitudes of collections of all sorts of things throughout the house: artwork, international treasures, her husband’s (Guy’s) challenge coins and military (mostly nautical) models, and more She is also a wonderful cook The table setting in the morning, I felt like I was English royalty preparing for tea The evening wine and cheese time was pleasant, relaxing, and a wonderful opportunity to meet other guests Guy was not home during my stay Perhaps another time I am not posting pictures because you need to see it all first hand for yourself My room was the Purple Room A private room with private bath 3rd floor Lots of steps as there are with old, tall homes Window A/C units in each of the bath and bedroom Bedroom closet is a large walk-in with a sitting table should you need to sit down to put on makeup or get ready The shower head is an adjustable wand with multiple settings If the water pressure is weak, turn the head and you’ll be fine Enjoy your stay!

Miss Lapid

Enjoyed my very first ever B&B experience!Guy and Clelia are such wonderful hosts Their house is immaculately clean and filled with amazing items Guy collected through the yearsThe Victorian architecture is complemented by good solid furnishings and modern conveniences

I am so impressed that I already booked another night!

We have stayed at this hotel every year when my husband has had appointments or surgeries at Johns Hopkins hospital This was the first time that we have felt that the quality of the hotel had gone down significantly as had the quality of the staff The beds were extremely uncomfortable and although we had requested it at check in, we never received housekeeping even once so after 5 days we had piles of trash in the room

Our comforter if you could call it that consisted of the dust ruffle that normally goes on a bed to hide the frame (see picture) and this was what they used as a blanket with a very thin duvet on top of this We asked for blankets at the front desk on our first day but they were never brought to us so we did not sleep comfortably during our entire visit They said they were shortOn blankets but would do their best The staff at the front desk was not downright rude but not friendly and they appeared bothered when we needed to ask them simple questions Although the location is convenient, we are going to look for another hotel to stay at during our monthly visits to Baltimore this coming year If you valet your car don’t expect the valet text service that they use to be working and you will not discover it to be broken until you arrive to pick up your car and find the valet person chatting on a couch instead of getting your vehicle This may or may not be their fault but a faulty text system is what they claim Upon check out I requested a copy of my bill and was told that it would be emailed to me so apparently getting a paper copy at check out was not an option When I did receive the copy of the bill I had been charged twice for valet on a given day which then necessitated a phone call to the hotel in order to get the $3500 charge reversed This was done promptly which I appreciated This has always been our go to hotel and it was sad to see it being managed like this A comfortable stay is a minimum requirement

Great staff, great location, room left MUCH to be desired So to be fair—we booked same day and the thought crossed my mind that we may have ended up with one of the “good enough” rooms that don’t get assigned unless they have to be Check in was great—Yvonne was super welcoming and helpful—confirmed that we asked for 4 extra pillows (our kids are pillow fiends) and off we went

The pillows never showed up (don’t know whose shoulders that falls on) Had trouble getting to the room as either our key card or the card reader in the elevator was messed up—seemed to be a bit of both When we got to the room I got the distinct feeling that something was off For starters, there weren’t 4 towel sets, the hotel-provided body wash was missing, there was missing flatware (which we later found dirty in the dishwasher) and there was coffee and a cup missing It felt like the room hadn’t been turned over since the last guest had stayed…except the trash was empty and the beds appeared clean It was unsettling, I’ll admit My husband told me I was being paranoid but I’m fairly certain the room hadn’t received the attention it was supposed to We tried to call down to the front desk but the phone wasn’t working and every time we hit the front desk button on it the line would ring and ring and then hang up on us There was no binder or info about the hotel in the room with an actual number listed for the front desk so we couldn’t call down either Not sure if that was because of covid or was just missing Not a big deal but would have been nice to have at least the TV channels listed so that we could more easily avoid content that wasn’t appropriate for our children Overall the room was somewhat run down Chipped furniture, wallpaper peeling, slow draining sink, melted spots on the carpet, linoleum in the kitchen peeling up…The couch was honestly dismal—the cushions so squashed that when you sat on it you ended up sitting on the front lip of the structure (both uncomfortable and made legs fall asleep) The first night (of the 2 we stayed) I cut my foot on a line of exposed carpet tacks between the kitchen and living space My husband flattened them with a coin and his shoe I did bring this (and the sink) to the attention of the front desk (after having to go down in person) and they offered to send someone up and we declined as we had fixed the tacks and didn’t care to have anyone working in the room Oddly there was no dish soap (but there was dishwasher powder)—so we ended up washing dishes with hand soap Just FYI there was no corkscrew in the room—I suppose you could request one but we were too lazy to fight the elevator (literally—the card reader worked about 50% of the time by the 10th try—we rode up and down almost every time we used it multiple times trying to get to the floor we wanted) to go to the front since we couldn’t call downParking is valet for $35 with in and out privileges or self parking for $25/day with no in and out privileges The garage for self park is attached to the hotel and can be reached from insideThe pool is actually in the Maryland Athletic Club, which is in the building complex They have an agreement to use the gym and pool Both are nicely equipped overall from an equipment standpoint—-the pools were clean (have seen better days from a coating standpoint) It’s salt water based instead of chlorine, so not as harsh The kids are only allowed in the splash pool, which is heated to probably 85 degrees and max depth is 45 feet, minimum depth is 3 feet and it’s a stairway entry There is a lap pool that is much cooler water and a larger pool that has a sloped entry that adults and teens can use There is also a hot tub The locker rooms are well equipped with a sauna, showers (with soap and shampoo/conditioner) and a suit spinner You have to take your hotel key and photo ID with you to gain access and have to have shoes on until the locker room They provide pool towels You have to shower before getting in the pool (locker room or pool deck)

Itz_Aidan 27

The staff was nice, our other hotel canceled on us last minute and we were able to get a room here, the room was nice but there was a weird red stain on the carpet outside the bathroom, everything was fine until it was time to leave and Valet lost our car keys We’re currently waiting for someone to drive 5 hours to bring us a spare key Awful experience

Wandered in here looking for a place to eat and have a few drinks Great atmosphere, attentive staff, and amazing food My wife had the fried chicken sliders and cheese popovers which were awesome

I had the baby gem wedge to try something different I don’t usually enjoy blue cheese dressing but this was top notch!Really good food, decent drink selections, and excellent cocktails Would definitely recommend

Terrell Singleton

This place is on a stretch of great brunch places but did not have a bottomless mimosa option and though pricey the crab cake sandwich was good I bought a round of drinks to keep the peace about the pricing vs the generous gratuity already on the checkOur waitress was not as attentive as many of the places in the strip

It was mostly noticeable because we didn’t have bottomless mimosas to occupy us but had to keep re-ordering drinks one at a time a wait for the bartender to make the roundSomeone heard us talking and told us that dinner pricing vs portion is more reasonable…I guess come after 3 n u won’t leave hungry

Tracy Belaski

I’ve always enjoyed Waterfront, but I’m not convinced that the new ownership under Atlas is for the better The entire menu has been overhauled- gone are the days of solid, reasonably priced bar food and drinks The menu is also significantly limited

We ordered the spinach dip, which came with a measly serving of bread and a small bowl of potato chips – the potato chips seemed like an odd choice I also ordered the crab cake, which could have been good if it hadn’t been burnt to oblivion This cake was not a little over toasted – it was clearly burnt and should not have left the kitchen, especially considering it wasn’t a cheap entree in the first place Crab meat is expensive and they ruined it Under other circumstances I would have sent it back, but the service was slow for our entire visit and I was too hungry to wait around for new food I had to ask for a glass of water on 3 separate occasions before I finally got one There were 2 bartenders on duty: one who was experienced but was too busy gossiping with another employee most of the night, and one who clearly had no idea what he was doing and had very little experience dealing with a busy and fast paced environment I don’t think I’ll be coming back except for the few occasions that my friend’s band plays there, and I’ll definitely be dining somewhere else beforehand

Check in took an actual one hour and twenty minutes The ceiling was profusely leaking into garbage cans all weekend The staff had over charged me by ninety dollars and didn’t even apologize or question it

Check your bills! My room had fecal matter in the toilet Blood! Hair! This was a crime scene, not hospitality The room had insects inside flying around and crawling about The bedding was soiled and when I called for a new set, nothing was done What we have here is a completely unethical situation The staff refused to do anything to resolve any issues during our stay Honestly, it was the worst stay of my life This place should be condemned The GM is a joke and the staff I met were useless I’ve never been tested like this by any establishment before Avoid this establishment! A very shady operation here I’ve actually had nightmares since my stay The worst hotel of my life Never ever again will I give Wyndham an opportunity to disgust and disappointment me and my family ever again

Rich Givone

2 stars for this place Three things were good: price was right, location is perfect (safely walkable to Inner Harbor & Camden Yards), and the room was clean But…

three big negativesFirst: they screwed up my reservation; I had another adult sharing the room with me & specifically needed 2 beds for that reason When I arrived I was told they only had 1-bed rooms available And it was “take it or leave it” so two of us had to share a bed (Awkward!)Second, the “breakfast buffet” was wayyy more limited than other locations, but beyond that: it was gross, and likely unsanitaryThird, The garage attached to the hotel is not operated by the hotel And the garage was having problems with their ticket reading machines, and in fact machines gobbled up multiple guests’ tickets and credit cards, mine included So I had to cancel my card and order a new one – yet another significant inconvenienceI would suggest people avoid this place until the owner/operator addresses these issues

Nicole Stratton

DO NOT STAY HEREI want to start off saying this- the staff was incredibly sweet and helpful and also that we are from the suburbs of StLouis so we can handle some shady stuff but this place wins for being totally disgusting beyond all measureThe hotel room I kid you not had blood literally everywhere, the bathroom floor, on the AC- just like everywhere – there was little black curly hair everywhere- everything was dusty and gross I have never seen anything so disgusting in my life

A mask hanging off the chair, food under the bed just very gross Parking is $34 a day which is normal for big city hotels so I’m not holding that against them and the hotel itself had alot of safety features which was nice but honestly it was just a gross I would really recommend not staying here

Check in at the hotel was a bit of a mess Room wasn’t ready until 1hr after the 4:30 check in time and they did not give any advance notice The staff seemed very overwhelmed by the amount of guests that day

The bar was closed, so there wasn’t much to do while waiting for the room besides sit in the lobbyThe room itself was good Comfy beds and everything was clean Fair for the price, but nothing too special Felt a little small for our party of 3, but good if you aren’t planning on being in the room too muchTrying to get our car at checkout was tough The valet attendant said it would take about an hour to get our car if we waited He instead gave us the address of where the cars are kept so I could pick it up myself, just a 5 minute walk away Considering the late check in + having to get my own car, I would have expected they offer a discount on the $33 valet parking they chargedIf this is the only hotel with availability, staying here is fine, but there are definitely better hotels in the area

Joseph Jones

Right now they are in the middle of some renovations All amenities are not available The bar was closed, also the gym

There is a bistro that serves food and drinks Shower heads leaked water, but good pressure If you like historic hotels you will like the Lord Baltimore It was quiet inside the rooms except for the occasional emergency vehicle siren The road in front of the building is being repaired, lots of steel plates The housekeeping staff was great and rooms were clean as expected Would like to stay there again once everything is completed

Shantelle Ozzy

I think this hotel has potential Nice lobby, except for the fact that the bar isn’t available, the cafe closes at 9pm, and the gym is closed downMy evening was turned off by the valet attendant

When I pulled up the girl just sat at the desk starring at me and wasn’t interested in seeing what I needed I came out the car and said, “do you do valet?” She said yes with an attitude and said if I haven’t checked in, to go park somewhere else I was so irritated that I went looking for parking elsewhere The location of the hotel doesn’t have convenient parking, so I went back to the valet The website says self parking and valet parking for one price, but when you get there, the valet is a higher price and there is no self parking available I called the front desk and the staff was nice after I told them that they should honor what their website saysAfter I finally checked in and went to my room, there were towels in my toilet The front desk fixed it and brought new towels, but it was just weird The outlet for the coffee and microwave was faulty and there were no cups I had to hold the cord in place for both to workI will say that the staff (outside of the valet) were accommodating I don’t like the location of this hotel or the parking situation, but they are making more renovations, so maybe next year it will be better I think the hotel should update their website to what they actually have available, so that people aren’t surprised upon arrival

Beautiful clean and modern rooms with high quality furniture and super comfy bed The front desk staff, and manager especially, bent over backwards to work with us on a complicated reservation so that we could get to our rooms and get some sleep after a long day of driving Haven’t been down for breakfast yet but the lobby and breakfast area look great

Very convenient to the highway, would stay here again in a heartbeat

Daniel Anderson

This hotel is in a great location but, slightly off the beaten path and is one of the newer hotels in this area The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet I have stayed here many times and am never disappointed

They do have a breakfast buffet in the AM, a nice 24-7 gym, and a pool There are several restaurants within just a couple of miles, close to White Marsh Mall area

Albert Skwarlo

Rooms are nice and clean, I have stayed here a bunch of times now for work My repeating and only issue is the incredibly loud air conditioning units in the room If you are a lite sleeper be sure to bring ear plugs

Anyone with an EV should note a SemaConnect charger is available at the shopping complex across the road it was 50/hr at the time of this post

I will say that the amenities in the individual rooms leave something to be desired, however There are no dressers or drawers to put your things or clothing There was also no microwave or coffee station in the room either They did have a mini fridge but it was just sitting on the floor

Melissa Talamonti

The person checking us in was very hospitable and accommodating We got there extremely early before our room was ready and we were able to leave our luggage and walk around The room itself was fine for the amount we paid

However, we only got one towel per person The streets were very noisy every night and woke us up most of the time Although it’s in a great location downtown, I guess that’s the trade off

Tatum Standley

We stayed for a weekend The restaurant downstairs is recently and permanently closed Staff was sparse but generally helpful

The room was clean enough and technically wheelchair accessible (as was the lobby), tho the elevators were quite tight The room we stayed in had no grab bars of any kind in the bathroom Unfortunately even from the 7th floor with windows facing a fairly quiet street, we heard every laugh, scream, siren, car door, etc all night long which wasn’t exactly restful Nothing terrible, nothing special

We came to Baltimore to visit some friends and stayed here We checked in and had some issues

gum on the floor (that was missed in cleaning), our room was only cleaned 1 out of the 4 nights we were there, we had to continuously ask for towels, and the breakfast was not worth the amount per night The positives are that the desk staff was very quick to answer our questions and address our concerns The biggest plus of this hotel is LOCATIONlocationLOCATION!!!! You are less than 10 mins from major shopping (Target,Mall etc) and eateries Easily accessible to highway and AVOIDING TOLLS!!!

It was a hotel room Breakfast was lacking quite a bit My girlfriend and I went to breakfast the first morning, one hour before breakfast was to end and there was one carton of milk and nothing better than sandwiches and soggy/bagged waffles

The pool looked ready to use, but there was a chain holding the gate shut The ATM and one of the elevators were both out of order

Jonathan McHugh

A surprisingly good experience here Definitely feels like the Marriot takeover brought quality to the brand Our 1 bedroom “suite” was decent, felt like a good sized studio apt minus the kitchen (tho there was a microwave, so bonus points)

The bed was a bit to be desired but fine enough for a quick stay (2 nights for a family gathering) Has Netflix/Youtube built in to the tvs which was nice Downstairs they serve bfast, coffee from 7-10 and its limited but decent, perfect for a quick bite Theres a small convenience stall there you can get some essentials Pool was closed while there but looks small tbhTheres also plenty to do close by, the Ave at White Marsh is walking distance away But they sell out Quick on weekends, so if youre gonna book, do it a week or so in advance Parking is free also w your stay Our rate was cheaper than Airbnb’s in the area, so we’d probs book again if we come back down

This place is not fancy But It was clean – smelled and looked clean and no bedbugs

The ac and heat worked The sheets were clean and comfy The pillows were ok Tv worked, but the fridge did not – or maybe it wasn’t turned to cold or plugged in We didn’t investigate This is a basic, but decent place to spend the night I would stay here again

Christina Walker

It looks a little sketchy from the outside but looks can be deceiving It’s a pretty good deal if you’re needing an affordable room Our room was suffiently clean and pleasant

The owner was very friendly I was worried after reading some TripAdvisor reviews but they must have been under old ownership Not for you if you want pool but the TV channel selection was better than a lot of other similarly priced places

The finest hotel we have ever stayed in We default to Marriott and have stayed at legendary, impressive brands The Ivy outclasses them all

From the moment we arrived and handed over our car to the valet, we knew we were going to be cared for by a well-trained TEAM Every single member has obviously been trained in service and teamwork They were simply outstandingThe concierges all had a broad knowledge of the surrounding area but were obsessed with making sure we received the experience we wanted They were pleasant and engaged without being garralous They paid attention When I highlighted a possible error on a 2rd party travel website, they took it personally and got to the bottom of it They understand service is not perfection, but a relentless commitment to teamwork and continuous improvementThe food was splendid The breakfasts were delicious, the daily afternoon teas were refreshing, relaxing, and welcome Dinner was always deliciousSo the price is higher than usual-and 100% worth it Yes, they provided value to us as clients and we would gladly return Spectacular time!

Where to start? If you want a nice hotel in Baltimore with nice staff, good location, and a beautiful building, this is for you I read some reviews about cleanliness and safety, but this place is FINE The staff were so friendly and helpful! The room was just fine – really comfortable with a coffee machine and fridge

I guess the bathroom was a bit outdated, and the shower was a bit tricky, but for the price of this place, I didn’t care It is true, this is not the best neighbourhood in the world, but I wasn’t worried about safety We wanted to eat crab cakes, and the lady at the desk recommended Mo’s Seafood – it was exactly what we wanted, and Mo’s picked us up in a van! We were looking for a quick lunch, and we sent to a really nice sandwich shop called Jake’s that was just a block away Really delicious If I go to Baltimore again, I’ll stay here again!

While the history of the building and the architecture is amazing, the rooms and service were just so so The floor is very uneven, I tripped several times There are places were the paint and plaster are peeling from the walls

In the room, the shower had tons of cracks just coated with caulk The windows in the 5th floor room opened, with no screen or safety measures to keep anything or anyone from falling out The bed was clean, on the firmer side, pillows look fluffy but went completely flat the moment you touch them They have a folded piece of paper with instructions on how to work the thermostat One of the bed side lamps and power station did not work, so we had to find another wall port for our phone Can not say anything of the breakfast since we left before it was servedWe did have a pet, and there was a rather large pet deposit for a tiny tiny kitty You also have to pay for the parking, which is behind the building If you are using a GPS, put in the location as the hotel next door in order to keep from passing the tiny parking lot I also recommend backing in, since it is extremely hard to back out of the spaces when the lot is full They do have charging spots for electric cars, but if someone is in a U-Haul, they will be blockedIt has a decent view, and the tops of the city buildings are beautiful, looking down you see some not so pretty sights depending on what part of the building you are onThe elevators are on the slower side, but do work There are open steps that lead from the lobby down to the small gym There is a room before the gym that has a vault door there, and is neat to be able to look at The night clerk seemed a bit snobbish They do request that masks be worn when not in your room, however the night clerk did not have one on

Michael Carrelli

This is the cheapest or should I say the most economical hotel within walking distance to the inner harbor and Camden Yards Guys if your attempting to impress a woman, not here move on If you have been married 20+ years or single bringing the kids to the ball game with a little inner harbor action this is the place

it’s cheap so you can spend your money on better seats at the game Hit or miss if the air works and if your staying for that four game series you have too contact room service each day if you want your room done up, good luck the answer machine is full The staff are excellent and the night security guy is looking out for you Free breakfast I’ve had worse the coffee is hot At least your team will win against the O’s Good luck

Would’ve been much better if we’d had curtains in the eastern facing windows Guess they want you up early Everything is clean

Bed is very firm Building looks like they have recently renovated itAddition: there were only electrical outlets on one side of the bed No table or lamp or anything for the other side We were in room 501 Our friends were in 204 and they did have curtains A/C worked great If anyone used the spiral staircase everyone in the building could hear it To be fair, it is a really old building Not sure I like the “no contact” and all electronic check in I’d at least have liked to have had a phone number for someone if I had a problem Decent place but probably wo t stay there again mainly due to the price being so high and how little you get for it

D S

The positive: The unit was clean Bed was comfortable Air-conditioning worked

Nice TV in the room Neat looking building from the exterior They honored the AAA price for the unit (10% discount) Truly a contactless facility if your worried about CovidThe negative: No staff in the building to help you if you need it When you do need to contact them you have to contact them via email and response time varied significantly (it was never immediate, but they did eventually respond) The phone number for the facility online is disconnected Limited number of electrical outlets in the room making it difficult with 3 people are in the room No where to store your luggage temporarily on check out day if you have a late afternoon flight (there is no front desk)— contacted them via email and was only given an option of paying an additional $45 for a late checkout which was very inconvenient “Cleaning fee” Raises the price significantly of the unit per night We had no one clean our unit while we were there for only 2 nights (our choice), but still paid the flat $75 fee for the cleaning For the same $150 I paid for each night I could’ve stayed at a Hyatt downtown and had breakfast provided plus be much closer to downtown and all of the restaurants/activities Instead had to pay for Uber to get downtown because really did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood

While my stay at the Hotel Brexton was overall a positive experience, I did want to share why I am only giving it 3 stars:- The check-in process is confusing You need to go through it digitally since the hotel is all contactless There is no one physically at the hotel to help you

– The elevator inspection and registration expired in January 2022 I reached out to their virtual front desk about updating it and did not receive a response- Misleading amenities Microwave was listed as an amenity, but the room did not have one—there was one microwave in the lobby Netflix was listed as an amenity, but I had to sign into my own account on their Roku- The bathroom sink was very difficult to turn off and water would sometimes overflow from the handle- The water temperature of the bathroom sink and the shower seemed to have two settings: hot and scorching hot- Paid for a cleaning fee but the room was never cleaned during my 5 night stay- I’ve seen similar reviews, which concerns me regarding the hotel’s diligence in addressing known issuesAll of that said, the room was clean, comfortable, and got lots of natural light However, it’s overpriced for what you get and is best for someone low-maintenance

I stayed overnight with my daughter and she said it was the best day of her life! Great location, lovely staff, clean spacious room and the indoor pool was a bonus! We walked to the historic ships and the National Aquarium, the restaurant was not open on the night of our stay but the hotel provided a list of local eateries and the breakfast cafe was ideal We will definitely be back!

Tom Tom Scott

Well me and the wife stayed here for an anniversary getaway The service was absolutely amazing Ms

Michell at the front desk sent us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne Complete surprise for us We were just having regular conversation and she sent us a gift Very attentive and caring to our needs and privacy Mr James the concierge made sure we barely lifted a finger or the phone He knows all the good spots close by We loved the view and the staff

James Coutourier

The staff is great with good hospitality The location is actually even better, right across the street from the beginning of the harbor A very peaceful hotel but It’s way overpriced

Very old looking with a weird carpet stench Chipped walls, chipped doors Looks like an old Catholic Church Doesn’t have a good view either compared to other local hotels Old dirty carpet ! It was a burn mark in the unattached foot rest not to mention it didn’t even match Just a badly designed hotel for the price Needs remodeling
