The room was very clean and accommodating I had my very large service dogs with me and there were no complaints The ladies at the front desk as well as the cook in the morning we’re all very nice and helpful

It is in a great location and close to everything Even found $2 Tuesday at the local bowling alley that is only a mile and a half away!

Thanks for the mega room The staff was so helpful, they are kind and go above and beyond to make sure our stay was great We couldn’t get our coffee pot to work and it was a simple adjustment that we missed

The price they charge for a room versus the quality of the room is way out of line Shades were broken It looked like a king mattress was on a queen box

When we checked in we asked that they only give us fresh towels versus clean the room during our stay That didn’t happen When my wife went to the front desk and asked for towels because they hadn’t been changed she told them she did! Clearly they didn’t listen

I would give this hotel 10/5 stars if I could I’ve had some rough hotel experiences in the recent past, so I’m always wary of where I choose to stay now I stopped through here for the night on a road trip, and I want to stay here for a week now

The hotel itself is in a beautiful location, about a 2 minute walk from the lake and tons of restaurant options My room was spotlessly clean Very spacious room and bathroom, nice shower with good water pressure, clean bedding, fluffy (but not obnoxiously fluffy) pillows and the most comfortable mattresses I will be staying here every time I need to travel for any reason Great job guys!!! This hotel is a killer deal – great price and super high quality and cleanliness The gentleman working at the desk when I arrived was so kind and helpful too Thanks for making my stay so enjoyable!

Gina Porumb

Absolutely great! From the easy check in till the last moment, the service was fantastic The place must be fairly new, because everything smells great and the amenities are modern The room was extra clean, in fact it’s the cleanest hotel I’ve seen in a while

The bed was comfortable and the noise level was minimal, even though there were families with kids around us The best thing is the internet, every guest has a different password set up and it works fast and easy Great experience!

Angel Wilson

Great hotel for the price We stayed in 4 different hotels on our tour through TX and this one was by far the best It’s was clean and the staff was friendly

They served free hot and cold breakfast every morning I thought breakfast could last a little longer It was over at 9:30am The parking is free It’s in a great location It’s right off the lake surrounded by restaurants It’s also near the Target and Lowe’s If I googled a place or restaurant it was within a 5 minute drive from the hotel I couldn’t have asked for a better location When I go back to TX I’ll definitely be staying here again

Okay park Tons of potential to be a wonderful destination Sites are very tight unless you can get a spot in the “L” section

This is a good park for a couple nights if traveling through the area As noted by others the WiFi is pretty much non existent The Verizon signal was very good Water pressure good All amenities were good as advertised Employees were nice Not much of a sense of community for as many full timers they have there Seemed like 80% of the park was full of either seasonal or residents Good experience overall

Awesome site for a family to get awayMy brother and I are riding our bikes across country and found out it’s hard to find just a campground

this place was very accommodating, even had some spare wood to make a campfire,They have cabins next to the pond where you can catch and release fish,Rv hook ups and various spots to stayThe showers/bathrooms were clean and the water was hot!If we are traveling and wanted to stay for a week, this is one incredible place to make some great memories!

Our stay was one night only traveling through The hotel decor is a bit dated but was clean!! It seems they are redoing their bathrooms? The pool and hot tub were just what we needed Beds comfortable

A special shout out to Susan, evening desk clerk She was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the area Gave great directions for opportunities to eat She treated our grandkids with respect and care We would definitely stay there again

James Stevens

Rooms not very clean, lots of stains on couch and chairs, carpet sticky, broken floor tiles with many years of missing grout, very poor repairs from all the leaking pipes in the walls (heard oth guests complaining about same thing) Check-in and out front desk people were good Breakfast in the lobby was great and server was FANTASTIC and very friendly! In the hotels defense, they are remodeling but given all the interactions I overheard between the “contractors” I’m not sure if they should be operating even a paint brush

Rebecca Gonzalez

Got here at midnight front desk seemed friendly enough but she was unable to make a key for my husband, stating BOTH machines were not working How? Good thing I had a digital key, but what if we didn’t??? Then the door lock to room 418 is broken

The door and door frames are no in alignment to properly shut You can also see where someone moved one of the door’s safety devices so that’s clearly an inside job Why would they do that? We had to throw our body weight into it to get it to close and use the dead bolt to be safe I chose this room in the app because it was the highest floor available but boy was this a surprise Too late too complain as we are only staying here one night and were exhausted from our 3 day drive so we just went to sleep I mean what would she have done to help anyway? I will say room is VERY clean and in good condition So big thumbs up to housekeeping I’m curious to see if their key machines are working this morning Anyone booking a room, don’t stay in room 418

We stayed the night here after traveling for hours and hours with an infant, an active 12 yr old, a pregnant woman and a doggy, to say we were exhausted is an understatement We walked in and the place is being renovated so there’s a bit of construction going on It made us a little worried, but it all turned out wonderful

The staff is amazing and very helpful The lady tending to the breakfast was friendly and so so kind She works hard at making sure her guests feel welcome and have everything they need The beds were incredibly comfy, the room was quiet and the temperature was nice and cool… I’m sure even our fur baby was made to feel welcomed There’s a lot of construction equipment outside, but don’t let that keep you away The area is safe and we had no issues whatsoever We will make sure and stay here again when we’re in the area

Donna Franger

Owners are very nice The house keeping staff are excellent The breakfast crew are informative and punctual

They are remodeling and the construction crew are hardworking and very professionalI must Thank them all for my glorious stay and for being Very pet friendly The whole family is looking forward to a return tripThank you allSee you soon

carolyn

I have never stayed in a noisier room than this one here Even ear plugs didnt drown out the noise from the highway The shower valves evidently are plumbed backwards as the spigot for the shower opens from the hot side

It would have been better to know before the check out I would have loved a warm shower Their breakfast was nice

It was a wonderful place to stay Very friendly staff, great housekeeping services Our room was extremely clean and nice

Staff supervisor and employees were friendly and polite and always willing to help, if you needed towels, extra blankets or cover they were quick and efficient There was a very good complimentary breakfast each morning The atmosphere was really cozy and welcoming Housekeeper Mrs A Glaude was always friendly and went above and beyond her duties to accommodate and make the guest happy

Ms. Johnson

Glad I found this newly built hotel last min Boarder line on the cleanliness and that’s for the hotel and it’s entirety No hair found in my bed like most Hotels

Stayed one night sooo it was acceptable for the most part Keeping this Hotel up probably won’t happen but Hey it was great to experience my stay as it was Staff at the front desk like to converse with others while guest are coming and going

Joey Carton

The room was great, a good size with useful design for 2 people The only complaint was that it was very warm an humid when we first arrived, but running the AC at low for 20ish minutes was able to fix that issue Close to the interstate and also the lake views

Breakfast ran out of quite a few items about 30 minutes before it was supposed to end, so don’t push it until the last moment to head to the lobby

Was kind of hard to find after you got off the interstate The corner was very dark at night to get back to the hotel Maybe a little more lighted signage at that corner

Or something with reflective signOtherwise, clean, nice big room Safe was also in the room This was the second time we’ve stayed there First time was 7 yrs ago If needed, will stay there again

Joe Frias

Stayed here before and its a beautiful hotel, nice rooms, exceptional beds, and very clean and they have attention to details, even the toilet paper was made into a “flower” design!!When leaving, right at the end of breakfast time, we were asked if we wanted breakfast before shutting down They were not in a rush to shut it down and were nice enough to ask

Just your typical roadside inn The reviews may scare people away but it honestly is not horribleThe area is not the best as there’s an even more low budget hotel next door

Several sketchy people were just wandering the parking lot The lot has some pot holes and is pretty small A lady who appeared to be under the influence of something came to my room looking for “Kyle” and this gave me a bad impression of possible drug activity going onThe clerk was nice and got me checked in quickly I was in a room on the 1st floorThe room was dated and old However, it was clean The halls were quiet at night and I slept well There is also a fitness centerThere is a small breakfast in the morning I did not eat anythingOverall, I’d stay here again if I had to but it wouldn’t be my top choice There are other hotels off the same exit that seem safer

Jeff Bielicki

Fire alarm system and fire sprinkler system is down and has been for over a year Spiders come out the bath tub faucet area Mold in the hotel real bad

Doors to outside never lock Asst manager brings her 3 under age kid in to work No breakfast as all Not even coffee Hotel should not even be part of choice It needs to be shut down or a new owner who cares about the guests The entire hotel needs to completely rebuiltDo not waste your money on the DUMP

The hotel’s clean, the staff is nice, The breakfast was not to my liking — but I appreciated the gesture I didn’t give 5 stars because there was an issue with my check in and I had to pay for another room Now I’m having to battle to get my money back through booking

com, a 3rd party service That shouldn’t be my problem I shouldn’t have been charged for another room I should have been able to check in and then they deal with the situation They are the ones who contract these 3rd party companies to post their vacant rooms I had already paid I had a confirmation for a room and yet I had but I had to deal with this issue for half an hour and it was already 2 AM just trying to check in I had originally prepaid for the room so all I had to do was get keys I was exhausted There was no offer to give me an extended check out say past noon This would have been very helpful but no they were knocking on my door at 11 If I paid for a room at 2:30 in the morning it sounds to me like it was the next day so I should have been able to rent the room as if it was the next day and not had to check out at 11 at all As it stands now I paid over $200 for an OK room for a10 hour stay Over all I don’t think I’d stay there againThe reason for that is the hospitality industry is supposed to anticipate guests needs and while the staff was nice, no one thought that this was the wrong way to treat a guests There’s no hospitality–I was there too make sure they were paid and that I followed their rules

Anyssa Cantu

Great sized rooms with super fluffy pillows, but overall cleanliness could be a little better The floors were all kinda sticky and there was a soap leftover from the previous occupants in our shower Front desk was accommodating when we had to cancel a night last minute due to a family emergency

The free breakfast was awesome! Lots of pastries, cereal, juice, and yogurt varieties along with hot eggs, turkey sausage, gravy and strawberry flavored Texas waffles 😋Note for pet owners, there are snakes in the immediate surrounding area so make sure to be vigilant while walking your pets Hotel staff are strict about barking, so beware if your dog is noisy We got warned for my dog barking a few times from the room during daylight hours while we were unloading our car on arrival I would’ve understood the warning if she was very loud or this had been during sleeping hours This made me extremely paranoid that I would not be able to leave her alone as she barks occasionally at noises as any dog would

D Bartek

All of the staff were helpful and friendly Our room was well taken care of and clean with both a mini fridge and microwave The pool area is welcoming and even has a spa lift with great placement at the rear of the hotel

The breakfast was excellent and fresh, even nearing the end of service Will definitely stay here the next trip we take!

I have been here a couple of hours This is a nice basic room at a goid price I have one point to possibly be concerned about, there is only one plug on each side of the bed, a regular two outlet plug by the door and two outlets in the bathroom so if you need to plug in two things gs next to you at night bring an extension cord, power strip or multi plug adapter

I needed my phone e because I was on call and a cpap machine

JACK WILL

Our car broke down and took 3 days to fix so we had to find aplace to stay with my family! Looked at many hotels but ended up staying here the manager is nice and gave us a good deal and the room was good too with 2 beds and a fridge and microwave I mainly cared for the surrounding since i was with my family and this hotel was definitely the right hotel Felt safe and clean room was all we needed

My family and I had a great time in your hotel From the valet to the check in to the room, everything was amazing I also loved the welcome text and having the ability to ask questions through the text function was so convenient

I want to personally thank the two Valets and the text customer service Also the bar was a great way to relax I can not wait until it warms up, I will be back! Awesome Hotel!

We were in on of their banquet rooms at a celebration of life It was so nice & the staff was extremely nice & kind This hotel is exceptionally beautiful it being right off the lake

Used Resort Pass to book a cabana for a Monday Worth it! We got to the hotel at 10:30am and did their self park Super easy

The lobby of the hotel is so pretty Checked in at the desk and went out to the pool to claim our cabana! Bar opened at 11am so we got settled in and waited Our cabana waiter brought our chef’s welcome plate (fruit, good fruit) and mini waters Had to wait for the frozen machine to freeze (it was 110 that day, so yeah, we get it!) but had mixed cocktails to get us through Enjoyed the pool, the cool breezes off the lake, and the shade in our cabana Things to be aware of: prices are high (it’s a hotel, that’s how it works), lots of kids (summer time, that’s how it works), not super attentive staff (it’s 2022, that’s how it works) But overall it was a great time! We will be back for sure!!
