The good:Location is good if you’re doing things downtownThe mediocreMy room did not have a shower curtain Called front desk to get one

After waiting 45 mins, ended up going down and getting oneRoom was not very clean Gunk in the refrigerator Sink had a couple of hairs Bedding had stained mattress cover, though sheets appeared clean$10 parking charge- Is not listed anywhere on the Wyndham La Quinta website, and is not listed in the “total for stay” when you book online Not a big deal if you’re informed ahead of time However in this area, I see no reason why a hotel you’re staying at charges for parkingSigns are up saying guests and employees must wear a mask Not a single employee was wearing a mask Again- Not a big deal, but if it’s your policy and you have a sign up then enforce itThe badFront desk staff is either very new and not trained well, or doesn’t careWhen your staff says “I think there’s an elevator to the parking garage, probably” it’s not a good signQuiet time not enforced Someone was having a very loud party in their room down the hall from me well after midnight Supposedly this is a non smoking hotel, but the party room was Obviously smoking something as it smelled in the hall It took 2 calls to only partially resolve the noise issueThere was no breakfast on Sunday (3/13/22) because “The person that does that didn’t show up” Evidently the front desk isn’t even allowed to help out with it, as the breakfast area was dark with all the chairs still upside down on the tables at 8:10AM You’d think that they would at least help get the area set up when someone is late, or a no showThe parking garage area was not well lit, could be a safety issue for someI stay at La Quinta’s a lot and have a certain expectation that this location definitely did not meet It’s well below the standards This location was more Super 8 in terms of service and cleanliness I would not recommend paying to stay hereThankfully I had rewards points I used, but in hindsight I wish I had used them somewhere else as it was a waste to spend them here

Absolutely would have chosen different hotel had I known the pool no longer existed here Do not believe the main photo advertisement on google This hotel has no pool

Most of our team agreed to stay here because it was close to the convention center AND because we thought it had a pool Room was nice, lobby was nice The hallway floors look really rough and the elevators take forever and look really beat up with torn areas of the doors and floor Outer door from parking garage to elevator key card reader is broken The key cards themselves stop working and we had to have them reset multiple times during our two day stay Every time we were told that they stop working because of cell phones, magnets, electronics, and heat Basically just leave the card in the room when you leave because if you take it with you, you’re sure to expose it to one of those things Also, the wifi was down for most of the day during our stay

Carpet stopped short of the door, creating a tripping hazard The toilet paper holder was broken and dangling The ottoman was split open

Called the front desk and they said they would note it and not charge for damages Note that they were not sending anyone to fix it The breakfast was literally frozen on the second day of my stay The 3rd night, I was unable to find a parking spot (despite paying $10 per night for parking) and was told to just park by the fence or in another lot (which had a posted fine and towing option) Honestly will not stay here again unless I have no other options
