Best customer service from a hotel front desk I’ve ever received in a long time This gentleman Tony met me at the door held the door for me and had a cold bottle of water in hand to offer me I had been outside working in the heat all day but he had no idea and still greeted me with a smile a welcome and a much need water

The man is a major asset to this property and the reason for my 5 star review My hotel reviews have received over 127 million views and none of them offered the hospitality this employee did GREAT JOB!!! You’ve earned a loyal customer from a diamond select member Thank you for the complimentary diamond select suite upgrade btw

Our school was competing at a local high school and we booked over 30 rooms With that many rooms and that many kids, the hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us As chaperones, we tried our best to keep the kids in line but with so many kids, we did have some noise issues

The staff informed us of some complaints but was very nice about it The facility itself was good Every room was clean The staff was exceptional and the hotel was located to many fast food and stores, all in walking distance Only gripe would be that it is right next to the freeway and was a bit noisy, but that is not the hotels fault Definitely recommend

During the time of booking I called to be sure I was on the OPPOSITE side of the freeway as several Google reviews mentioned how miserable it was it get sleep at night I then called again once my plane landed Upon arrival less than an hour later, I am told they don’t have anymore rooms on the quiet side of the hotel

My room was already paid in full (well over $1000!) since this was considered a “special event” There was no way I could cancel or I would forfeit the money already paid by my company I DO NOT appreciate the bait & switch tactic I will be sure to not stay here again for any future business travel or personal travel Even with earplugs, the highway is unbearably noisy & the ONLY way to drown it out is with the AC unit But the units at this location do not have the option for “Always on” so once it cycles off you are woken up by the highway noise & blaring train horns I highly suggest this hotel either invest in sound proof windows or change the wall units to have an “always on” function- the breakfast was embarrassing for a special corporate event with people coming in from all over the world A mere tiny cheese omelet, bananas/apples, or oatmeal in a packet that you make yourself I have had FAR better breakfasts at countless Marriott properties across the US during covid that were not during any special events

Amazing hotel Sky high ceilings if you are on the ground floor We had a toddler and the ac unit panel buttons are disabled due to a wall mount which is awesome

Shower, ihome , 2 TVs very clean, great breakfast too 100 percent will go back We had some extremely loud neighbors which dampened the glory but not the hotels fault We didn’t call it in But this place is awesome, friendly front desk We let her know we had a toddler and didn’t want his running around to bother anyone so she gave us a ground floor Great stay, bad neighbors

Spent 2 nights at this Holiday Location for a weekend trip to Yosemite The check-in staff went above and beyond ensuring my party of 4 was well taken care of and had recognized my IHG Platinum status with a nice suite upgrade! The recent renovations were still holding up in both my rooms and provided great value for the price paid Due to the proximity of the hotel and highway 99, if you are sensitive to noise, I would request a room facing the opposite direction

I was able to sleep comfortably facing the highway with earplugsTip: There may be some food bags to feed the swans at the front desk You can watch them fight the fish at the nice pond

Julia S

Love it!! Stayed 2 nights Wish I had done the train w my grandkids but we had to goDid Sequoia from here

Then left to Yosemite Great locationHas convenient store, gas station, Enterprise, restaurant & visitors center in same parking lot!!Great service & clean

Selina Casados

So sad to know that the housekeepers do not turn in lost stuff I had checked out Sunday morning from our room and didn’t realize I had left my gold ring with my name on it until later that day I called and the front desk said she had not turned anything in I said of course not it’s a good ring she will go turn it into money or have them melt it

All I wanted was for her to turn it in because I cleaned all bags I had with me and nothing is there so know for a fact it stayed behind in the room Please do not forget any of your personal belongings behind because HOUSEKEEPERS will not return it

This hotel is convenient and makes traveling easy, but what makes this place 5 stars is their customer service, especially from Gabriel at the front desk Both times I stayed here he was was phenomenal with customer service and was so amazing to speak with The deserves a promotion, a raise, something, because honestly I was hesitant in staying due to my previous visits here before, but now I will definitely be coming back

Definitely come stay here if you’re flying out of Fresno, Totally worth it, 10/10 :)!

Safrey Enterprises-Custm

I was surprised how clean this hotel is and the friendliness of the staff from front desk check in I was going to give a 5 star except our room had a mini refrigerator that wasn’t keeping food cold and a malfunctioning toilet that was noisy and keep flushing itself We appreciate the free Parking and complimentary breakfast

The breakfast though needed extra help with variety and additional waffle maker because many people lined up waiting to have waffle which took a long time But overall the hotel is decent and I highly recommended it

Melina M.

Everything was just about perfect except the pillows are square and hurt my neck And I had to call the front desk right before 1:00 am because there were still a big group of people partying in the pool area and we couldn’t sleep

It was handled immediately and I heard hotel staff telling security that’s why they’re supposed to secure and lock up the pool area The breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff is amazing 🤩

Very convenient location for Reedly and being next to the restaurant,Stayed here 3 times now over the last 2 years or so for work and it’s stayed about the same but prices aren’t bad and the front desk is always helpful even when I left a shirt in the room and they had held onto it for me to pickup laterThe pool has odd hours a bit though but I didn’t swimRooms always smelled of that like commercial lemon cleaner smell but the beds were comfy and the rooms are of a good size so your not cramped

TV doesn’t have a guide though so you just gatta guess at the channelsI will continue to come here whenever needed for work in the future though 👍

Cheap Motel, but cheap shouldn’t be equal to dirty… there was a chewed chewing gum lying on the air conditioning, false lashes from the guest before us on the chair, plastic trash at the floor and cockroaches on floor and in the sink/shower, price tag from the guest before us under the bedcover… shower won’t work, no breakfast although it’s said on the Homepage and little bugs in the sink

I would have given 0 stars but it’s impossible so it’s 1 star…I never ever had a motel as dirty as this one is… hope to survive the night never ever again!! Only thing that stays positive in my mind: the front desk was very very friendly…

The BuH

When we arrived at check in, the lady at the desk acted like I was putting her out helping me! Then the keys she gave us didn’t work and you’d swear it was going to kill her coming to help us open our door! The rooms need major updating! The fake, plank wood flooring was coming up in a whole lot of areas, and me and my hunny almost fell a few times The bathroom shower was hard as heck to turn on, and the cleanliness is lacking BADLYOnly thing great was the proximity to the concert venue, The Wakehouse! That’s all we cared about lol

I usually have very good experiences with Holiday Inn Express hotels, but this particular hotel fell shortStarting with the good…The hotel was close to Old Town Clovis, shops, restaurants, and the airport It’s also within 20 minutes to Fresno

The breakfast was great and the staff was friendlyThey were cleaning the floors and doing repairs while we stayed here and it was an inconvenience We weren’t able to check in early (30 minutes) the day we arrived and they shut down the entire lobby the third day we were here to clean the floors yet again It might have been best to shut down the hotel for a day or two, or completed the repairs and cleaning overnight as to accommodate guests betterThere are no weights in the gym You have to check the weights out then carry them yourself to the gym After you are done, you have to check them back in There are also no mats or towels so guests should probably plan on bringing a towel as to not be directly on the carpet for workoutsLastly, there is no daily room service

Zeke Johnson (SoCal Offroads)

Unfortunately I’m having another bad experience with this Hotel, I guess they don’t care about the customer service anymore, unfriendly staff, over priced rooms and I’ve already been billed for my entire stay on the first day, so if decid to check out I have to wait a week or two before I get my balance So unprofessional $900 for 4 days and you couldn’t offer me a bottle of water? And at least a smile

took two trips and 10 minutes just to open my doorcard reader doesn’t work rightroom doesn’t look like it was even cleaned right Not one person said hello, or good morning, not even a smile There’s a million things wrong with this place Back to AirBBDiamond elite mean nothing these days Do I really need to ask for toilet paper?

This was the worst stay ever! The AC turned multiple times and I called front desk and she had us unplug and plug back It’s night time figure it would be as bad, nope warm So we had a restless night

The maintenance guy came , got his name and it was segundo He went up and it was warm said the battery was low I go down stairs to talk to the front desk and her name was Carol! She was so rude! Didn’t understand what I was saying Then as we proceed to leave I figure I didn’t have my Apple Watch and called and talked to Carol and she said go ahead and come back the room has not been cleaned… mind you I was not even 4 minutes away and when sent my son in she told him they had already cleaned it and nothing was found I get off and tell her nope I left on the bed and she’s like no but I can have someone go with you I’m like yes and I can have my son sound the phone alertThat’s when the cleaning lady came out with the watch Stay away from this hotel, the worst service ever

We stayed here as a last minute emergency because we lost power when it was 110° The room was pretty standard, but lovely & quite big The bed was comfortable

I couldn’t find a pillow I liked, but that’s easily remedied if you travel with your own pillow (which we usually do)It was great to start our day with a hot breakfast! There were scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fresh biscuits, sausage gravy, hashbrowns, waffles, as well as the regular toast, bagels, dry cereal, yogurt, etcEven though we’re locals & don’t need to stay in our own town very often, we would be happy to stay here again And we’ve already recommended it to our out-of-town friends & family!

We try to stay primarily at La Quinta Inns as we travel, so we have seen many of them This location is definitely a nice one The building and rooms are in great shape

The rooms were very clean with high ceilings, updated bathroom, and overall a modern look (eg no carpet in our room but instead had an engineered wood floor, blue/white lighting) The check in was very efficient and the staff seemed very nice We travel with our dog and while there wasn’t a well defined outside area for pets we were able to make it work It is in a busy part of town, so there were quite a few restaurant options nearby We will definitely stay here again when we are passing though the area

Lorraine Souza

We were in Clovis for our grandson’s High school graduation Our son booked La Quinta Inn & Suites for us saying it was only a year old and very close to his house which it was

very convenient! and La Quinta Inn & Suites was probably only a year oldvery nice with everything we needed including a small fridge and microwave in our room which you rarely find nowadays Continental breakfast was greatawesome selection of breakfast items (just wish they, also, offered baconthey just had sausage which I don’t eat) 5 Stars!!

I am an employee of another hotel of this same brand The daily rates for the hotel are WAY too expensive for the quality of room and the amenities of the hotel The room was relatively clean, the beds were decent, and the sheets smelled fresh, but that is about as enthusiastic as I can get about it

Needless to say, if I wasn’t getting employee rates, I would not have stayed at this hotel A reason not to return, though is because the hotel is in a super bad neighborhood; in fact, it’s in such a bad neighborhood that while there, my car was broken into The parking lot is well light and there are cameras that cover the whole lot, but the management there, however, was extremely reluctant to and so far has indicated that they will not review the footage even though it would take somewhere in the ball park of 2 hours to review at 3x speed over the 6-ish hour time frame the burglary must’ve taken place So now in dealing with the disappointment of dealing with and accounting for missing items, a damaged car, and the hassle of police and insurance reports, we are met with resistance from the management This sort of service and assistance would not fly at the hotel I am employed at

This hotel is very clean I loved the layout of the room It was different from your traditional hotel room

The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful and kind with all of our questions and needs The location is great and we weren’t awoken with any traffic or other guestsI probably won’t be staying here at this location again however for a couple reasons I have 4 kiddos that were very excited to swim in the pool The pool is outside and not heated It is FREEZING Only one of my kids got in and immediately got back out So that was a huge bummer The breakfast is also below averageOverall, it’s decent Unfortunately it doesn’t meet the needs and wants of my family

Amanda Correa

This Hampton was close near freeway but not close enough to disturb sleep I arrived after 3 and the front desk was kind and welcoming Going up to my room the side elevator was a bit shaky and scary

Walking in my room, noticed the amount of space and how clean it was I had the king room with sofa bed My room did have a small amount of towels offered, so before calling to ask for more I received a text from Malika the front desk clerk which ask how my room was and if I was pleased I then asked for more towels, which was sent to my room very quickly and with no complaints Throughout my stay I was happy to know I was going to be well taken care of I will be returning to this hotel when coming to this area

Hal Jandorf

Friendly, caring efficient staff Very nice roomsThe pandemic removed the great breakfast

The box breakfast was a nice touch but compare to the breakfast a year agoAlso, a few amenities are not there anymore The price is high or what you getWe use the hotel for many years due to quality and convenience

Very comfortable, clean hotel The hotel staff and associates very polite and efficient Every staff associate I encountered was very nice and helpful with information regarding the hotel and directions to nearby restaurants

The hotel design is very similar to other Hilton Garden hotels I have visited My guestroom was quiet and comfy My room included comfortable bedding, large flat screen TV, mini refrigerator, and microwave Although I didn’t get to visit the pool, it looked very clean and refreshing There are several dining options within walking distance of the hotel My colleagues and I had a very pleasant, restful stay! Thank you Hilton Garden!

Lori Barrios

My friends and I were heading to VVR for hiking and camping, but stopped for the night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clovis The room was clean and nice, the pool looked inviting, but we didn’t have time to use it Best of all, our stay included a full service breakfast

The person at the check-in desk was professional and courteous, which was nice, because we arrived after 10 pm from OC California The staff at breakfast were also courteous and friendly Enjoy your stay

Shelby Tankersley

Well… I’m here for a work event & we have rented out the meeting room for three days It would have been nice to know beforehand that the AC is not in working condition Mind you it’s 101 degrees outside meaning the event room is 80 degrees

They tried fixing it with multiple fans but it’s not helping whatsoever The room I’m staying in, the bed is hard as a rock Woke up with the worst back pain, and not looking forward to sleeping on the bed again The water for the shower is Luke warm so that doesn’t help either

We had a very comfortable stay We stayed at the Fresno location 7/20 and the man working that night was professional and helpful He allowed us to check in early which was super helpful

Liz on Thursday morning was also professional and friendly Someone even called up to our room from the front desk to make sure our stay was going well I could not figure out how to work the tv in our room which was fine, and the refrigerator that I was hoping would keep all of our drinks cold for our swim meet the next day were warm the next morning (I told Liz, and she was going to make sure someone checked it out for future guests) The breakfast was delicious- so many options We had eggs, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit and my daughter made a waffle that looked delicious! I’m not sure why this hotel is 2 stars It’s a hidden gem! We are in Fresno quite a bit for swim meets and will definitely stay here next time!

Most staff was great But I think nobody works at night because no one answers the phone We tried 3 times from 12-4am When we went down to breakfast there was a woman behind the desk with other people but after that she disappeared

Breakfast was good, room was good Most of the staff was great The gentleman that was there at 8am was great I hope they hire someone to work at night All we needed was help with the tv
