First let me tell you, that every single person that works here exceeded expectations! Super friendly and helpful Hospitality was very welcoming and more importantly, it was authentic Free breakfast was a huge bonus

The food served was good too I loved the location because it was close to everything that I needed to get to during my visit The only thing needs improvement, in opinion, is the bathroom There’s wasn’t a working exhaust fan to vent out all the steam from a shower Also, there wasn’t any air vents to allow the air conditioning into the bathroom I traveled with my two daughters So you can imagine how hot it would get in there after a shower That made getting cleaned up and ready to go very difficult Overall, my visit was great and I would recommend to friends

I don’t know why there are some bad reviews We stayed there for one night last month and for 3 nights around 7 months ago and both of the time, it met our expectations Bed was cozy, water bottles were complimentary and coffee was not bad

We were originally booked at the Holiday Inn Sarasota Ap, however it was the middle of the night when we needed to check in and we were staying about week I booked through Expedia and because itv was the middle of the night the dates were not allowing us to check in immediately I called Expedia and They were able to get us in here

I am actually glad we ended up switching hotels this one is cleaner, the rooms are huge, the rooms are super clean and the hotel desk ppl are very accommodating We didn’t swim but the pool is super clean as well There were lots of other families swimming The GriggsGrounds are very clean no ppl hanging out in the parking lot It’s a great place in my opinion

Breakfast is amazing 👏 after seeing reviews saying it was not good, really like you didn’t like the fresh strawberries for your freshly made waffles The fresh biscuits & gravy and homemade quiche! Muffins, cereals and the toppings bar for the oatmeal & cereal 😋 👌 great coffee, tea and hot chocolate available all day All the employees have been incredible 👏 Will definitely stay here again

I love that as a Hilton honors member we get a $10 credit per person for breakfast, it’s the reason why I always book garden inn Breakfast was yummy and our server was absolutely wonderful, very friendly However I was a little surprised that they do not have any fresh fruit for the pancakes or French toast

The night time gentlemen at the check in desk was very kind and even helped to store some pies for us in the restaurant fridge until checkout Which meant so much to us, because they were for my mom, and I wouldn’t have been able to do that without him! All in all, the service here is fantastic and the employees really match the Hilton way by giving great service to their guests The pool is also a decent size, and gets lots of sunshine so it’s nice to lay out And it’s nice that they have brochures with all the things to do in the areaThe rooms however are a different story The beds are extremely uncomfortable, hard and old The room has a very clear musty odor as soon as you open the door (probably from the very old carpets and curtains getting stuff spilled on them over the years) There are no fans in the bathroom so pray nobody needs to go number two during your trip And the pillows under the cover are completely yellow The hotel needs a serious renovation, especially being in such an upscale town like Sarasota Being an airport hotel is not an exception, especially when there’s another newer Hilton in the same parking lot

Booked this place because it is pet friendly and my family and I were traveling with my small dog Our stay was OK, nothing extraordinary but we did not book any extraordinary rooms I like that they do have a pool available

Only thing that we did not like is the welcome We booked online 2 rooms and when we arrived for check in, the guy only gave us one key We then realized that we booked for 2 rooms, went back and asked He said that since we didn’t say anything he didn’t know But don’t these people have a computer screen in front of them with all information? Like we were already charged for both rooms, but if we don’t say anything we don’t get both keys? Also, he didn’t ask Very sarcastic tone was given For a one night stay its fine but will look for something else if its for longer

At first I was a little disappointed that the room looked bigger in the photos, but honestly we had plenty of room We booked the deluxe queen suite The kitchen had everything we needed

I have lived in Florida all of my life and love to visit all of the beaches here This wasa wonderful place to get to the beach on Siesta Key A little crowded for a “private beach” but that’s Florida! Close to quite a few really good restaurants, rentals for bikes and kayaks and the beach

The staff was WONDERFUL!! The beach is beautiful Our unit was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay nice Having a kitchen was a big plus for eat in meals! The pullout sofa was much more comfortable than I thought it would be Would definitely stay here again!

The included breakfast is fantastic The staff were all friendly and accommodating The breakfast has your basic continental options but also has a station for fresh omelettes, sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles, etc The high quality of the breakfast is rare in hotels in this price range The lobby has a water station and all day coffee/tea, which is a nice added touchCons: If you put a do not disturb sign on your door for the morning, you don’t get housekeeping services unless you call the front desk and ask for it This was not made clear upon check-in and was only explained after I asked The location is about a 15 minute drive from downtown, and about a 30 minute drive from beachesso not terrible, but not super convenient The shower has a weird design and gets water all over the bathroom floor At least on the 3rd floor, there was a very odd smell in the hallway but wasn’t in the room

As usual, a most enjoyable winter getaway! I love everything about this place: the rooms, the pool area, the staff, the breakfast! Only thing I would suggest is that someone should monitor the pool as I noted 2 cars full of people that brought young kids in to swim for the day; obvious they were not hotel guests The other suggestion would be 1 chair on the balcony; balcony was nice but none of the room chairs would fit out the sliding door so there was no where to sit and read or relax Otherwise, my stay was awesome! Great place ( miss manager Rhonda though, she was great!)

I didn’t want to leave! I’ve traveled a lot lately for work and have had some pretty horrible stays elsewhere However, here, the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and spacious, check in was easy and all the staff were very friendly!! This place was absolutely amazing! Best bed we’ve ever had on a vacation! Pool was great Gazebo’s with curtains by the pool were great! The awesome bar, the music can’t be heard from your room We were just getting to the pool and the front desk lady brought us both fresh towels

She was awesome too the whole week we were there! I would definitely recommend this place Only downfall we had was the AC in our room didnt get cold enough but we bought a fan and that fixed that one and only issue! Loved it here Thank you for making out vacation so amazing!

Live in Jupiter and had to spend one night in Sarasota for a friends late birthday party The hotel looks brand new, the next day we were shocked to learn it’s almost 3 years old Service was excellent, a whole non-smoking floor, room was clean and the sheets were soft as anything you have at home! Excellent hotel and service! Highly recommend! Location was excellent off 75 but you would never know it because it was quiet and peaceful! The pool area, rooms and staff were amazing! Free hot or cold breakfasts were perfect! We always stay at Hiltons and this one was all that we expected and more! Thanks to the courteous, friendly and helpful staff! Usually stay closer to the beaches but this was a fast drive to beaches, right down Bee Ridge… It almost goes to the entrance of one side of Siesta Key Most of our day trips were to places off of Interstate 75 so the location was perfect!

This is fun hotel with a wonderful staff It has a youth hostel vibe but it’s great for families The beds are very comfortable and the decor is wonderfully playful

The one problem with the room is that space efficiency comes at the cost of privacy There’s a sliding door between the toilet and the shower so you can only close one at the time! The lobby has excellent snacks and a coffee bar

It’s a bit on the lower end of what I expect from a Marriott property The staff is not bad, but the amenities and rooms need to be updated and repairedThe breakfast consists of pre-packaged burritos and breakfast sandwiches like what you would get at a convenience store

And yes, they are as soggy as you’d expect from microwaved breakfast in a bagThe rooms are not properly maintained or cleaned We’ve asked twice for refills on the soap and shampoo in our shower, but still don’t have any There was still debris on the floor from previous occupants that didn’t even get cleaned up after our room was serviced twice The AC barely worked and then only when we got the settings just rightPlease fix this place upIn the meantime, I’ll stay at the Hyatt Place next door for my next visit to the area

If I could give 0 stars, trust me it would be Rooms are fine but staff is terrible We gave this hotel 2 chances and we were treated horribly each time

I have a broken arm, baby, and dog and my husband had called 3 days in advance asking if we could check in early on day of and was told yes no problem at all! Then, called the night before they said same thing no problem we will even leave a note and call if it’s not possible Never received a call so I show up today and am told the room won’t be ready til 3pm normal check in time I get that’s the normal check in time, but don’t say yes multiple times then to early check in! Just say no and we won’t stay here! My husband is here for spring training with the orioles so the hotels we can stay at are limited So frustrating and unprofessional Do NOT stay here! Especially if you have a family Front desk women are terrible

Myself and my wife recently stayed for our birthday weekend Despite the initial confusion due to the construction we were able to locate the hotel pretty quickly The valet team was quick and efficient and for $35

00 per night which includes shuttle service It was an absolute blessing! Upon checking in, we encountered Russ who was quick and efficient and ensuring every person was handled! We asked to see if there was any upgrades available, and he was able to put us in a city view! The room itself was pleasant If there is only one nitpick, would be from the television/remote due to the slow delay from button push to registering I do recommend getting the breakfast package as well as you can order off the menu versus a “limited” item I even got to experience new foods that I normally would never think to try! Huge shoutout to Jenn for making us feel welcomed! The roof top bar and pool provided an exquisite view for those who enjoy tanning/having a pint! Best hotel my wife and I have stayed at!

Please train your employees to be more professional and helpful in assisting check ins You have some of the rudest front desk clerks I also requested no room service during my stay and confirmed twice, but when I returned back after a meeting, they still went into my room and just left towels on counter along with the bagged up trash on my counter, and left all the dirty towels I previously used

This will definitely be my last stay with this location Other hotels in the area are so much more professional and attentive

The hotel had a good feel when we first arrived When pulling the blanket down I observed hair and crumbs in the sheets I advised the front desk that we needed clean sheets

She told me she didn’t have anyone available I asked her just to give me the sheets and I would make the bedShe again said she had noone and asked me what I wanted her to do We went out to dinner our sheets were delivered in a plastic bag on the floor by our door when we returned at around 11:45 PMI asked about the continental breakfast I was advised that I had a special rate and we weren’t entitled to the breakfast I offered to pay and I was told “no” I couldn’t do that The room was dirty, stains on the carpet, hair on the tray that holds the coffee pot( a dirty coffee pot) and ice bucket Wasn’t worth the money I do not recommend The front desk was rude I asked for a Mgr the following morning and advised her of my concerns She offered me points I didn’t want anything I wanted a CLEAN ROOM

Most staff is nice except for some I recommend you know some Spanish if you want to be able to talk to some of the housekeepers Considering the cost the room is relatively small and if you have more than 1 person in the room it can be pretty cramped

I would also say that breakfast should be served for a little longer because if you want to be able to actually get food you’re gonna have to wake up at around 8:30 am The location is probably the best part about this hotel is the location being at least 20-30 minutes to most top beaches in Sarasota

I could give it 10 points, but:Breakfast could be more healthy Would like to have a fat free yogurt and more variety of fruitsAlso, cleaning service wasn’t every day only by request and I don’t understand why room service only after 5pm- very inconvenience

Air conditioner thermostat was set on 68f and you cannot go lower than 68f, but actual temperature in room was 74F I had to remove cover and use axillary button to make thermostat go to 60F
