Do not be fooled by the 45 stars- this is definitely a 1-2 star hotel

The front desk person you need to call to get service couldn’t find my reservation Flat out told me I didn’t have a reservation until I showed him my bookingcom confirmation number Check-in was supposed to be at 2pm and when we arrived at 3:00pm, the front desk guy said check-in “starts” at 2:00pm, but nothing is ready at 2:00pm… whatever that means Lots of excusesThis place is terrible for many reasons, and severely understaffed We ended up having about 15 minutes to get ready for a wedding we were attending instead of the 2 hours we thought we would have with a 2:30pm arrivalThe photos of the property need to be updated because the property needs some real updates The smoke detector conveniently started going off, as if it were low on batteries, around 6:00am until 9:00am every three minutes This place needs another Hotel Impossible make-over for sureWe’ll never come back and definitely, will not recommend this place to anyone

I would advise bringing your own plunger When I requested one I had just missed it by a minute before another guest had requested it Don’t worry about the lack of channel guides as most of the analog channels are frozen anyway

There is a legend that there are beach chairs available upon request but I think it’s just an old wives taleBringing your own do not disturb sign is also advised Perhaps one not made of the thinnest cardboard stock known to man, one that will actually hang on the door Also be prepared to bring and install your own sliding glass door I’d imagine you can call ahead for the measurements and specs Upon checkout you will be able to leave an online review once you are far enough away I would say do it while you’re there but it requires working internet

Cute location this motel directly on the Atlantic Ocean Beach We 4 loved this place with its Greek blue benches and amenities, only con was the water problem in our room 135One star less not because of the water problem itself but because of the way of communication by the GM

The hotel is very clean & staff is super friendly We booked an oceanfront room with a king bed We were very happy with the room

Our room was very clean, the bed was super comfy & the AC worked great We love that the hotel is located on a quieter part of the beach The only downside was our room was on the 1st floor We didn’t call or specify in our online reservation that we’d like a room on a higher floor, so we can’t blame anyone but ourselves for that We go over to Daytona several times a year and always try to stay somewhere different each time but we’ll definitely be staying here again

Allison Hayes

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at on the beach it was truly like a condo Staff was very helpful and accommodating providing extra towels and toilet paper Gave us extra room keys without a hard time

Everyone who we came in contact with here was nothing but nice Great pool and hot tub and great location with beach access Eddy was very helpful to give me extra keys and help me check I would 10/10 recommend this place It was amazing for the price

Kris Behringer

We have stayed here on two occasions now, and both experiences were positive The hotel is older and it shows, but it is clean and the hotel staff is fantastic! You can’t beat the view from their ocean front rooms, and the location is great with easy access to just about everything We will absolutely stay again

Thanks to the staff for a great visit!

I was here last week of February 2022, just finishing renovations my room was done already, very nice Location is a quite spot on the stripThree buildings, I was in the south tower

Middle building has indoor pool and hot tub with rooms which has doors to the interior of the buildingThe north tower looks nice to buy I haven’t been in itThey also have cottages, haven’t seen them up close but look nice and privateLast thing, two out pools Homemade donuts and coffee on second floor in the morning

Roger H

Front desk was a bit harsh as far as assistance Like trying to extend our stay But it was handled eventually

The room was nice and clean (south tower, 5th floor) Besides front desk issues everyone else was really polite and accommodating Pool was clean and normally busy Parking is surprisingly limited but workable I liked that it was away from the busy part of A1A I will return and overall had a great time

Every year in June or July we visit this hotel For a long time we have been searching for the perfect hotel to stay a since our favorite one got permanently shut down We finally found this hotel which covers all of our requirements especially a pet friendly hotel

We brought along our dog We have been coming here ever since we found it This trip though we had rented a huge pet cottage we have been waiting for, for 2 years Just a week before our visit, we got a call from them saying that they had an issue with the plumbing in that room Although we were devastated they gave a a big oceanfront suite and lowered the price! They even let us bring our pet! We had a great time with family and the housekeeping service was amazing They also have free donuts and coffee every morning at a certain time They have 3 pools and a hot tub Everything about this hotel is absolutely amazing and we never had a bad experience!

Let me start by saying that Terri at the front desk is a sweetheart Great attitude and superior customer service As soon as you walk into the entrance, you’re greeted with an amazing scent at the front desk

Hotel was clean, rooms were nice, got upgraded to a poolside and ocean view We even got complimentary drinks You can never go wrong with Best Western

Kevin Wright

Staff was great, worked hard, very friendly Rooms need to be updated Holes in walls, exposed wires

Hallways were very hot, there was a wall unit that could not keep up with the hallways Restaurant was great, but too hot!! Only place that was cool enough was my room No continental breakfast Pool was great My room had a pool view, but you could see ocean Every room has a patio Ice machine was broken My objection is the price For over $200 per night, I expect a great experience, and I did not get that Probably worth about $120/night Location is great, walking distance to 7/11, Winn Dixie, IHOP, some restaurants and bars

rob barclay

Great location, Great staff Very clean and the pool and outside areas are great Free happy hour to help relax you

This hotel was amazing and I actually cried a bit when we had to leave Clean room, great view, and a nice restaurant We had breakfast and everything was amazing

The staff at the restaurant was also wonderful The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and hard working The pool area is beautiful, clean pool, and plenty of room to sit all along the edge A little play area with a mushroom for kids and a hot tub to Chairs for lounging and sitting Right on the beach and just amazing in all ways Only cons which are normal with beach hotels was the elevator is slow and a bit small and limited parking Will definitely return again Thank you Delta Hotel for an amazing stay

Brandy Nash

This was our second time staying at the Delta Daytona hotel we absolutely love this hotel We stayed in the ocean front both times Front desk staff greeted you upon arrival

Last time we stayed here the parking was included this time it is not it is 10$ a night which I think should have still been free The restaurant was nice , food was good Breakfast was amazing, Darcia and Clayton both stood out to us with their smiles and positive attitude you can tell they both loved their jobs Some of the other servers didn’t shine as well for us They had a little attitude and looked annoyed and Ignored us when we were waiting for a menu and to be acknowledged as they just walked byWe had a minor ac issue in our room And we called the front desk and immediately maintenance came to our room prepared and changed out the unit The property is clean, and well maintained We loved our ocean front view of a Daytona Beach shores The pool area is beautiful I would suggest more umbrellas for shade I wish they didn’t take away the cabana at pool side It close to other restaurants and shoppingThey are we still giving them a five star I had absolutely loved my experience there both times and no major issues We will be back again

Richard W

We stayed with Delta hotel at Daytona for the very first time and love it! We got a high floor room with ocean view and that certainly helped This hotel is modern, clean and nicely maintained Room is not too big but adequate

Hotel staff is very helpful and alway makes you feel welcomed I appreciate staff with lots of patience with me Hotel bar has quality food and surprisingly not too expensive I love the pool and beach access Everything just seems right It feels luxury without a big price tag Highly recommend this place!

Warm, friendly and professional staff, from check in to the wait staff The hotel has an amazing calm smell of a spa that you notice the moment you enter Restaurant, bar, pool and hot tub well maintained and staffed

Beautiful views and immediate access to the beach We had the most amazing meals at the restaurant and I had the absolute best hamburger I have ever had at the outside bar managed by Lorrie! Oh yes the Coastal wings are the bomb! This will definitely be our go to place when we are in town! Thank you for a relaxing and carefree stay!

Brent Kane

This was our first stay at The Shores The accommodation were great The mini fridge in the room was nice to have

The coffee maker in the room was a single serve style that uses flat pods basically consisting of coffee grounds in a coffee filter pouch If you’re a coffee person you can bring coffee and small coffee filters Pour some grinds in your filter, fold it over a few times and it will work like a champ The valet folks did a great job We didn’t eat at the restaurants on the property so we can’t say what they’re like The facility was clean and well staffed everywhere Bartenders were great and were not selfish with their pours The views are stunning and the balconies are spacious Everything in the room worked as you’d expect If our adventures bring us back to the Daytona area again this is where we’ll stay

Astrid Cardona

So, I was trying to be fair with my ratings because the location was nice, the property is beautiful but feel like there should be microwaves in the rooms, better coffee machines and they don’t have roll out beds I feel like most hotels have that and because of this I have to overall give it a four stars They have a really nice property so if you have exactly four people in your party, there should be no issues

A/C sometimes gets too warm I’d go back again but would make sure to bring a blow up bed

Great place! Staff was warm and welcoming! Our room was delightful and spacious The decor was cheerful and appealing and was spotlessly clean thanks to Sheday (sorry spelling probably wrong) The balcony ocean view was superb

The heated swimming pool was actually comfortably warm and again very clean as was the hot tubThe public areas were bright, open and again very cleanI only have one small and I mean very small suggestion for improvement It would be nice to have tea bags instead of just coffee available for the use with the provided coffee potWould I recommend the Bahama House to others? Absolutely and without any reservations Stay thereyou’ll love it!!

Mandy Keen

Very good location Clean and large rooms for a good price Free happy hour drinks

The staff was helpful and friendly My son left his Nintendo switch and they found it and are returning it We thought it was as good as gone I gave them 5 starsbecause this is everything I look for in a hotel We enjoyed our stay!

Nyika Taylor

This is our second year staying at the Bahama House The only reason they didn’t get 5-stars is because the room could have been cleaner So

Rooms: Suite sleeps 6 comfortably AND has plenty of room for all our luggage and beach stuff Extra pillows for the pullout would have been niceService: There is only one lady at the front desk who needs to go back to customer service training Jan and everyone else were GREAT! Jan showed me where the books wereask her about them The cleaning staff were quick The breakfast gentleman kept everything stocked and he had a smile! Oh, and those lobby bathrooms are impressiveLocation: Right next to the beach entrance Don’t drive on the beach during a soft sand warning!

Not great Every room has a good view of the water That was nice

The room had a big puddle from the dripping AC unit It was also covered in rust where the water was coming out so this was not a new issue When I was in the lobby I heard another guest saying that there was water dripping from his bathroom ceiling Has also said that the night before the staff had to repair his bathroom because the people in the room underneath him were complaining about water dripping from their ceiling!Decent price compared to every other hotel on that strip but not a nice room TV didn’t have many working channels Internet did not work Very nice people working there They just need better management

Stephanie Fancher

We just left today and we were heartbroken to say goodbye We cannot wait to come back! We had a wonderful stay! The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful! Another thing we noticed is the hotel itself smelled so clean and I saw people cleaning constantly! My only complaint I have is we had a suite and we really wished the kitchen was in the middle of the two rooms and also the slats under our king size bed kept coming loose causing the mattress to fall We never asked anyone to repair it we just did it ourselves lol

We loved everything about this place though The location is nice and quiet Nice roomy parking area and they even had plenty of pool floats and chairs to use for the beach! Another favorite was the dog park for the dogs to go potty! The whole place was great! We will definitely be returning!

Susan Buckingham

July 11-12, 2022: Hidden Gem among huge franchises! Not a 5 star hotel chain but 5 stars in cleanliness, professionalism, friendliness and the location is fabulous with quick access to the pool and beach The rooms are charming and the AC keeps the room cold! You can make dinner in or order out while dining to your private ocean view and sounds of the waves! We have found our go to place near Daytona!

Kasey Hladik

We had a very nice stay here! It was a bit pricey- I understand location is everything and we were right on the beach, but things were a little outdated The room was super clean, smelled good, and the bed and the pillows were so comfortable The layout was odd with the sort of living room area being in the back so you had to walk through the bedroom to get to it

There was a flashing alarm light in the bedroom that was pretty bright at night, the TV only got one channel, and the plugs built into the lamps were too loose to hold plugs However, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at every turn, the breakfast was delicious and the restaurant staff was wonderful, the pool area was beautiful, and you can’t beat the view of the ocean from the balcony

Brandon Jurasevich

Jen at front desk is very accommodating I was able to upgrade from regular room to suite with no issue They even delivered a crib to our room

Stayed twice this year and it’s perfect for a family with young kids Love the ocean views as well as the short walk to pool area Food is tasty and kids always eat free! We never have to leave the property when we visit

SHARON Davis

We were charged way too much for our room The room was comfortable and clean Pool was nice

Breakfast good and staff nice Had to park across the street because the parking lot was full We paid extra for an ocean front room Our room was partially blocked by a wall on the left That balcony door took super human strength to open

This place was wonderful- an older accommodation but still wonderful, well priced, well staffed, quick service, CLEAN rooms with great amenities Loved the full kitchen and it was incredibly well stocked We cooked our entire Passover dinner in the room with their dishes and utensils and didn’t have to ask for any thing extra

The beds were comfy and they had comfy pillows The room was stocked with extra blankets and we had full control of the hear or AC They seemed to have a lot of kid centric activities and the water slide was awesome! Loved the warmer indoor pool as well Also, they have a great little mini pool for Didn’t see any bugs or anything nasty the whole time we were there Impressed and would definitely stay here again

This was my family’s first time in Florida! The hotel upon arrival was amazing The parking was very accommodating even though it was full The desk receptionists were very friendly

They also allow pets which was awesome! The facility is clean and the breakfast bar was good The pool area was nice however I do think there is too much chlorine in the hot tub as it was so strong it burned my eyes Easy access to beach and just a few minutes driving to the boardwalk I will absolutely return to this place in the future as it has definitely set the bar and honestly I’m not sure why this place has bad reviews, but I’m also a very humble person

LifeThroughEm’sEyes

Overall, I had a beach vacation, but I would probably never stay in this hotel againPros:-GREAT beach access – we really did have a blast when we were on the beach and it was so nice to just walk out-big pool with a nice hot tub and outdoor showers-comfy beds-yummy complimentary breakfast (a huge variety of options from bacon sausage waffles french toast fruit parfaits cereal etc)-Nice house cleaning staff (One guy really helped us out by giving us a black trash bag to help us carry wet clothes and we didn’t even ask he just volunteered after over hearing us)Cons:-shower water is luke warm and has absolutely no pressure I couldn’t get basic sand off me so if your expecting a hot or useful shower, forget it!-room temperature is controlled by the hotel, our thermostat was set to 74 the first night and 77 the next night and my family was roasting

The people on the tenth floor couldn’t even sleep because there’s was set to 84 That’s an immediate deal breaker!-completely understaffed, if you have a question the front desk may not get to you for ten minutes-NOT ENOUGH ELEVATORS! (Only 2!) The staff and guests use the same elevators! And the hotel was PACKED! There were some times where we had to wait 15 minutes just to get an elevator! And if you have family members who have issues with walking or climbing that is a big problem!-front reception staff were often rude to us and seemed like we were greatly inconveniencing their day just to be there or ask questionsOverall this hotel didn’t hinder us from having a great time at the beach but I definitely wouldn’t come back to this particular hotelSide Note: You guys should really be more careful about verifying charging a room because all you needed to do is write down your name and room number and the check in list is five feet away with room number and names so someone could charge anything to a different room and no one would be the wiser

Kyle Veatch

This was our first time staying at this hotel and we will likely return Like many hotels in the area, it is not a new construction, but renovating an aging building They have done a decent job with the inside, with the lobby being nice for the price

The breakfast was very good and good quality items The rooms were not bad, but maybe needed the most improvement They were functionally adequate and the view to the beach is great, although there was definitely some fit and finish that the rooms could have used The service was very good and everyone was very friendly and helpful during our stay

Love the view from the room beds and shower was amazing I would give a 5 star but when we first got there someone made the hotels fire sprinkler alarms and flooded the hotel Luckily my room was still all good but the staff was great and very helpful with everything going on Just that being the first thing to happen on vacation after an 18 hour drive😂 but truly 4 star experience and 5 star everything else

Curtis Baumgardner

The stay was great The rooms r very roomy but there is no counter space in the bathroom The oceanfront was wonderful

We got there on Saturday and left on Tuesday and the pool wasn’t vacuumed one time while we were there Sand was all in the bottom and floats and boogie boards were left next to the fench the whole time Breakfast was awesome but the parking is horrible

This hotel has a nostalgic feel of what beach front hotels have always been It isn’t a resort by any means but has absolutely amazing views of the beach/ocean It is close enough to enjoy everything that Daytona Beach has to offer but just outside of the hustle and bustle to allow for much less crowded beaches and a little more peace and quiet

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and roomy There was no parking fees which we greatly appreciated We throughly enjoyed our stay

We had a wonderful three night stay We stayed in a smaller room on the second floor, but there was plenty of room for two plus we had a balcony to sit outdoors and enjoy the evenings and morningsThe breakfasts each morning were great; more than enough to get us through busy mornings of sightseeing before wanting lunch

A beautiful place, indoors and out (and shelf space for your own bathroom necessities)Thanks Maggie for a exceptional time!

We were greeted warmly by Ms Maggie’s assistant, Joanie, who showed us around the garden, with its sauna and hot tub and a variety of seating areas Then she led us around the lovely home, pointing out all the amenities, and we were shown our room

It was immaculate and the bed was more than comfortable Breakfast was delicious It differs daily There are so many things that make this B&B special, including Ms Maggie herself

My fiancée and I stayed here for a weekend getaway from Orlando We only stay in Bed and Breakfast accommodations when we travel The owners are more considerate to details and cleanliness

Well, this place is the poster child for spotless and attention to EVERY need a guest could want I’ve heard women say, you can tell a lot about a man by how he treats his mother, well the same is true for how owners treat their floors I’ve been in the wood floor business for 40yrs It’s the first thing I look at when I arrive at a B&B Ms Maggie’s floors are immaculate thanks to Joni It may not mean much to the regular customer, but if a floor is nurtured, everything else will follow the same path The hot tub was perfect! The room (Magnolia) was comfortable The grounds are inviting and private The location is the epicenter to anywhere you want to explore And the breakfast, coffee bar, water was served with care and plentiful There is so much to offer at this place Highly recommend

My family has been staying annually here on our summer vacations for over 30 years and there’s a reason we keep coming back Super friendly staff and the atmosphere here is truly one of a kind The rooms are all extremely clean and each of them unique in design

The grounds have a great ocean front view of the beach and the pool area is very well maintained A colorful family friendly vibe is always present We love it here and quite honestly can’t think about Daytona Beach without always thinking about our pleasant experiences here

We had a wonderful 10-day vacation at Tropical Manor We have stayed previously and wanted to re-create some memories, now to include our grandchildren The well maintained property has not lost it’s old Florida charm

The staff was friendly and helpful My grandsons (ages 5 & 8) even commented on how nice the people in Florida are! On days when the weather was cool or cloudy, the kids and papa still enjoyed the 86 degree pool water The beach and ocean waves are only a few steps away from the rooms We highly recommend this “family friendly” resort We can’t thank you enough for making our stay special

My husband, my daughter and I went to Daytona from the Jacksonville area for an overnight trip Our room was ready when we arrived so we were allowed an early check-in We showed up around 2:30 and the staff who greeted us were incredibly friendly

We stayed in the Cactus Flower room which is a small one bedroom efficiency type space It had a pull out couch, recliner, tv, small dining table and a small well appointed kitchen with an apartment size fridge and ovenThe bedroom had two full size beds that were extremely comfortable The air conditioning cranked out cold air and everything in the room was immaculateThe buildings are older but have TONS of old Florida charm and a very unique character Our room had an ocean view from every room even though we were not directly in front of the ocean ( we were a little further back ) we had a cute little porch with a table and our room sat across from an adorable covered Gazebo with a large round table and benchesWe had some friends and other family that were already staying at the hotel and we had a blast hanging out with them We used the pool into the evening and also reserved the grill to cook outWe are in Daytona at least 4-5 times a year and this is officially our new place I won’t bother staying anywhere else We couldn’t have loved it more It was quaint, unique, safe, and so so comfortable We didn’t want to leaveIf you need a plush or luxe 5 star stay this is not the place for you If you want to kick your sandals off, swim in a great pool, walk the beach, grill out Oceanside and enjoy a clean homey environment – there isn’t a better place in Daytona for that experience

I loved leaving the balcony door open and hearing the waves all nightCons: There was rust on a lot of the fixtures and the room had a damp odor In their defense this is pretty typical of hotels right on the beach

Pros: Breakfast was good with many options Great location I love getting up to see the sunrise (as you can see from the photos)! The room rates were also very competitive Also the young man who checked us in was the nicest and most helpful hotel front desk worker I have ever met

( almost a 4)We chose this HIE for my birthday getaway, as we both love waking on the beach and my wife loves ocean front balconies She was not thrilled with the garbage bins in the parking lot but the views of the ocean as you enter the lobby are appealing But the hallway corridor leading to our room ‘ showed its age ‘ and again , left an unpleasant impression

We knew this was an older facility and did recognize the solid effort in room renovations Room , bedding and bathroom were are comfortable overall , excepting the strong musty odor in the closet ( we wouldn’t leave our clothes in there )Nice balcony and good proximity to dining optionsThere was a noise issue but to their credit , management was quick to acknowledge and address the problem and apologize That is appreciated; they do seem to care The breakfast attendant was quite nice as well Overall good value by using IHG points

Delicious free breakfast!Didn’t like that I had to pay a daily $10 parking fee and $20 for incidentals This hotel can get pretty pricey, but the bed alone is worth it!It’s in South Daytona near Ponce Inlet
