Location of hotel was great I chose this hotel based off the lovely looking gardens and since I would have kids with me, I also chose for the pool I prepaid online and upon check in hotel staff requested that I pay

When I said I had paid online already they then cancelled Still paid the additional $40 deposit for incidentals Not the worst thing in the world, but if someone prepays, why is it not noted in their system upon checking in? The room was adequate Room smelled of carpet cleaner Sheets, blanket and pillows were clean I had an adjoining room, unfortunately The person in the other room used his phone on speaker and was yelling into his phone from 3-5AM I also could see light coming into our room from his room through the bottom of the door Walls are extremely thin and you can hear everyone around us Breakfast was not as advertised and was basically any generic continental breakfast so don’t rely on the photos Photos are extremely misleading on their site We checked in at 3pm and while walking to our room we saw garbage in the hallway At 10am the next morning there was still the same garbage outside peoples doors in the hallway Keys for the rooms had to be inserted many times for them to work All in all, for the price I paid, I will not be coming back There are superior hotels in the area within the same price range

Come here if you never wanna be able to get into your room We payed for 5 nights here and every single day, the key cards would not work EVERY day we had to go to the front desk and wait a long time for someone to show up and just tell us again that the cards “demagnetized” WHICH HAS NEVER HAPPENED ANYWHERE ELSE

We have had to get new cards 1-2 times per day every single day we stayed One of the nights we had to stay at the front desk for at least 6-7 minutes with NO ONE anywhere to help us Also there’s DEAD BUGS in the curtains The pull out couch is extremely uncomfortable and feels like laying on metal The toilet paper rolls are so close to the side of the toilet that they push on your legs while you sit Anyone who is not extremely skinny has to take the toilet paper off the holder to even sit comfortably on the toilet Also the breakfast selection is pretty small Also the hotel is right in the middle of a weird field area with homeless camps all around it

Christina Becerra

Clean rooms and amenities, friendly staff Just don’t leave any cash or valuables in your room Cash was taken out of my room while I was away

And later, housekeeping attempted to access my room while I was inside and had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door In response, management advised me to notify the police then stopped responding to my emails Very disappointing I would not recommend this location to anyone hoping for peace of mind while away from their room

Location isnt super close to much Service was above and beyond and helpful Only reason for the missing stars is because you can hear everything in the rooms

We stayed here one night before flying out and stayed here the night we flew back in two weeks later We left our vehicle here which was in one piece when we came back However the first night our room was next to the exit side door and next to the stairwell You Could hear everyone going in and out the door, anyone going up or down the stairs and any conversations in the stairwell The second stay they put us in a room right by the elevator It was the same thing again You could hear anyone getting on or off the elevator Just wasn’t ever quiet which made it not very relaxing Besides that, the rooms were clean the beds were comfortable and the staff was lovely

Nice clean room Staff was friendlyThe breakfast service was really bad

We arrived Saturday for a funeral Sunday morning there was nothing in the hot food section Bagels and muffins looked like leftovers from the day before Monday there was 1 dried up omelet and a few potatoes Tuesday was better with breakfast sandwichesI spoke with the manager, Sydnee Shiner, she politely explained how everything went wrong with someone getting sick She apparently had no backup I was informed that breakfast is complimentary so if you don’t get it that is OK She emphasized complimentary I will remember that if I want to stay at another Fairfield Inn

Viktoriya Ivanova

Location is great, very convenient whether you need to get to the mountains or downtown and is close to the interstate The hotel is well maintained and the room was clean, staff was nice and they had hot breakfast My problem with them is they let people pay cash for the hotel (which is my understanding against Marriott brands policy)

The issue with it that dangerous criminals can be staying in the same hotel with you I found this out during my last day witnessing police arrest a group of people (one of which escaped in the car) I didn’t ask what they were arrested for but as police moved their cars so I could get out, one of the detectives asked me a few questions and told me the people they arrested paid cash to stay there I view this as a safety concern

The front desk staff are so friendly and professional and made my stay as comfortable as they could possibly can The suites are spacious clean and comfortable I haven’t tried out the Elements restaurant as it was closed the whole time we were there, but the complimentary breakfast and meals were great

Thank you for everything Luse and West Valley City Embassy! Will definitely visit you again❤️

Hotel amenities in the room are substandard Several of the light switches in our room didn’t work The TV in the main room didn’t work either

It turned on but only displayed “PHILIPS” throughout our stay (3 nights) The sofabed was completely broken, kids had to sleep on the floor The saving grace for this place was that the hotel staff were extremely helpful and very customer oriented They offered us a second room, at no charge, but can’t accept having half the family sleep in a total separate floor & room We traveled with 2 minors I would stay at this place again if they updated/upgraded their room furnishings The view was awesome though 😀

Bad Room ExperienceI made a reservation a night before my wedding in March 2022 with my 2 kids so we can get ready the next day close to the reception I checked in at 1am, they were friendly Once we were going to bed the Bed sheets were yellow! Disgusting! I called front desk, they apologized and offer to give me another room in the same floor

My kids and I packed and moved We checked the Bed sheets before unpacking and same thing Yellow!I called front desk and they offer another room in the same floor again but this time the Front desk lady went to check the sheets and Yes Yellow again!!So front desk and the security went to get clean sheets, at this time it was 3am!! We had to be up at 6am to get ready for my wedding, we were super tired!!Front desk said they will discount my stay but unfortunately they didn’tVery disappointing to Pay this price for a suit and get a dirty bed! I just hate a night before my wedding me as the Bride and my little kids had to go through this so late In the nightAt least the Breakfast was good!

Robyn Popescu

We really enjoyed our three night stay here while visiting Salt Lake City The hotel includes free breakfast for all stays, and it is quite good The indoor pool and hot tub were a great place to relax

The parking lot was well lit and felt secure The hotel laundromat is a bargain at only 50 cents to wash and 50 cents to dry Kitchenette has full sized refrigerator and dishwasher, but no stove top The Kitchenette is stocked with dishes, Silverware and glasses as well as dishwasher soap I would like to acknowledge Daniella, from the breakfast buffet for excellent customer service

5 Stars for Friendly Service & The Softest Sheets/Comfortable Bed! I don’t know if I was just tired, but this quite frankly with its soft sheets (and the true room darkening blinds, functioning cool air,)could have been the most comfortable hotel bed/room I have ever slept in The dog too, was happy as a clamThis place might not be as close to the university hospital (if that is why you are here) BUT WAY BETTER than the Hampton Inn (I repeat, WAY BETTER)The ladies at reception could not have been more friendly and helpful! I appreciated their professionalism!

Livie

Service from front desk was excellent, but the rooms were beyond filthy and I was not comfortable sleeping in such a deplorable place Yes, from first glance it looks nice But oh how can looks be deceiving

We had to give all the towels back because they had VERY noticeable stains on them, the shower wasn’t cleaned, with stray hairs all over the floor, the fridge wasn’t cleaned neither the dishes We ended up sleeping in our clothesWhen you’re taking a trip across country and have been behind the wheel over 12 hours, you don’t have a choice but to take the one room available I got the heck out of here, the moment daylight break! I wrote the general manager over the weekend and he didn’t even cared enough to message you back That tells you a lot

Very limited parking space, I had to park in the back of the hotel with no sideways that lend towards the front of the building Unsafe during the dark in my opinion Checked into my first room with the temperature almost at 80°F and called front desk, she was pretty short with me saying to give it a couple of minutes but since I walked into the room with the AC turned on but still at 80°, it obviously wasn’t working

Arranged for another room, same situation Come to find out, front desk finally said there was a problem with the AC earlier, so maybe the problem wasn’t solved or they should have double checked if the AC was working properly Third time was the charm for the AC but the room is dirty and smells horrid, I had to spray my hairspray to mask the smell The toilet wasn’t cleaned thoroughly either Cleanliness should be a priority Marriott bonvoy is about to lose a customer for good

Broderic Hall

VERY DISAPPOINTED!My wife and I booked a room here, and ended up having to reschedule due to Covid We called a few days in advance to see about rescheduling our stay We were told by the manager, this wouldn’t be a problem

We were transferred several times to a department that was supposed to help, only to find out they couldn’t help with this only the manager could We continued this process several times, and got no where We called in again a day later, and received fantastic customer service from Jessica She empathized with the situation, and said her managers would definitely be able to help She told us to expect a call on Monday from the managers We never received a call back We waited a week and didn’t hear anything back We called again a week later, and spoke to Alexis She was great at listening, but let us know she would need to speak to the manager The manager, Jason, said there was nothing he could do, and we would not be able to get a refund, credit, or anything even after we were told this could be done I asked if I could speak with the manager Jason to explain the situation to him, and was told that he was not available This was poor customer service on Jason’s part, as we received no explanations on why nothing could be done, after we were told multiple times we would be helped We hope this review is read, and fixed for future incidents that are similarFeel free to reach out for any additional details

Kyle Brandon

The hotel room was very dark and outdated The bathtub dripped all night I had to hit the up button on the thermostat about 10 times just to get it up one degree

Limited parking unless you want to park in the upper lot and walk a mile to the elevator Also, they did not allow late check out due to having “full compacity”, which I have never had this issue with Marriott before I stay at Marriott’s 2-3 days each week and I come to the Murray area frequently and I thought the hotel looked nice from the outside so gave it a try I am very disappointed and will start staying further from my work location to have a better experience Think twice before booking here

We loved our stay here The staff was so friendly The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and we loved the whirlpool tub, it was huge and felt more like a hot tub

The breakfast buffet was great, probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had and the views were incredible If we ever come back to Salt Lake City we will definitely be staying here again!

Jim Tinlin

Stayed here 4 nights and was very happy with the facility Rooms are good sized and everything is kept very clean There is an Enterprise car rental location on the next block if you want to do some exploring and you didn’t drive in

Morning breakfast has a very good selection of itemsA free airport shuttle is available, just call the hotel and they will pick you up within about 30 minutes A number of good restaurants are within walking distance

Steph Luamanuvae

We love the Crystal Inn Downtown Salt Lake We’ve stayed there several times and the staff is amazing I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Scott the front desk clerk

He is so informative and such a nice guy The assistant manager Ben went above and beyond to make our family’s stay enjoyable The rooms are always clean and tidy The morning breakfast is great I enjoy the cleanliness of the hotel and love the indoor hot tub and pool during the winter I have recommended this hotel to many of our friends who’ve enjoyed their stay as well

I see what other reviewers are saying about the musty smell in the room However the room was quiet and the linens were obviously fresh and those two things are all I really need Also, check-in was very quick despite getting in around 1am

All in all, one of the better sleeps I’ve had in a hotel in recent memory and I was pleasantly surprised by the lacking noise even though we’re by the airport Breakfast was so-so

Kevin

Sometimes at these Holiday inns the beds kind of sag to the middle not very comfortable the bed in this place was hard as a board stiff as can be Actually slept pretty good the reason for the three-star review is everything in this room was worn out Bottom of my feet was getting dirty from walking around with no socks on that’s how nasty the carpet was

However it’s a convenient location next to the airport to dip in for an early morning flight so I don’t have to drive in the morning to get to the airport from where I live I will use it again in the future but it sure could use some updates!

If you plan on staying more than a few days, be prepared Getting things like towels, toilet paper, coffee, etc, is quite difficult You get a lot of pushback from the front desk and hand ringing when it is not done

Also, I stayed in one room on one side of the bed After nearly 2 weeks, I pulled back the other side of the bed and found a quarter size blood stain on the sheets I was given another room and told the manager would contact me, which never happened The room itself is very nice, as are the amenities The gym is top-notch and the wet area is above average The elevator buttons are tricky and the common areas that include hand sanitizer, soap, paper towels are often empty Just about every day, there was trash or crumbs in most of the common areas Lastly, the “bistro” is useless They are always out of anything other than pastries and overpriced and burnt coffee The location is superior and salt lake City is an incredibly clean and well thought out city As for this hotel, you could certainly do worse but could certainly do better Two out of five stars This could easily be a 5 out of 5 hotel with better staff and management

Tammie Madsen

The hotel was clean and pretty however there is no parking for the hotel so you have to pay an additional $20 per vehicle for the public parking Additionally, the “free” breakfast is cereal Nothing else

You have to pay for the milk for the cereal They do have fruit and muffins at an additional fee but they claim to have a free continental breakfast which is boxed cereal We came over the weekend with kiddos and got 2 rooms which were well over $500 per night and were hit with additional charges for basic hotel parking and a measly breakfast Hyatt House is right next door and we think the better, cheaper option

Heidi Zarda

I stayed at this courtyard a week ago and had an issue and still haven’t heard from a manager I didn’t realize til the next morning of my stay that the shower had not been cleaned, complete with a lot of hair and a used hand towel There was also dried lotion on the sink, which made me wonder if that had not been cleaned either

I told the front desk when I checked out and showed her pictures and I asked her to tell the manager, he was not in at the time 3 days after with not hearing from management, I called and left a voicemail It’s been 6 days without any contact from management to try and rectify this situation Accidents happen, but I’m more disappointed that management doesn’t care enough to reach out to a customer to rectify a poor experience I travel to SLC often for work and I will be choosing a different hotel from now on

I was a little bit skeptical about this place at first because it is an inn (remind me of a motel) But it turns out to be great The room is clean and has everything that hotel provides

The location is obviously not downtown, but if you have a car this should not be an issue It has a really convenience access to the freeway Bus no 209 can take you to downtown too The one other great thing that we found is it’s really close to a historic farm You must check that out Really cool and great photography location

Laura Lee-Haycock

We stayed here for a family reunion in June 2022 The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable Service was good and employees were very friendly

It is a bit outdated but not horribly I would recommend a change in the breakfast menu It’s the same things everyday and no waffle maker Coffee is awful We only ate the breakfast twice due to the reason above No variety at allParking is a bit crowded and if there is no spaces in the front you have to park in the back which is not well lit and a but unsafeI would stay here again in the future I would just plan to eat out for breakfast

Monica Murariu

Personnel was so amazing and so helpful, on top of that we really appreciated the shuttle from and to the airport, the location right next to the ski bus, the gym, the pool and the jacuzzi Maybe too much chlorine in the jacuzzi, however that didn’t stop us from spending some relaxing evenings there The rooms were not the most amazing feature of this hotel, but the sofa was so much appreciated! So 4 stars for the location, jacuzzi, sofa and the shuttle for the price! I’m going to return for sure

Love this hotel! The rooms are comfortable and big We brought our baby who is almost 8 months for her first vacation The hotel kindly offered for us to borrow a sound machine to help her sleep and it worked great

They offered a crib too but we brought our pack and play crib The pool is well maintained and wasn’t too cold We brought our baby to try the pool and she loved it! Very nice staff 100% recommend

G&GC Properties

This is a nice hotel not too far of a drive from the airport The nearest grocery store is not to far from the hotel either They offer free breakfast from 6 am to 9 am

The staff are wonderful if there is something you need and they have it on property they will find it for you The room I had was very nice Large room to spread out The room had a fridge and freezer, kitchen sink with garbage disposal, and a dishwasher There is a ironing board and iron The unit also came supplied with eating and cooking utensils and a coffee maker There is a desk to work at and plenty on lights There are 2 televisions and alarm clock and a little dining kitchenette to sit and eat and a living room area and separate bedroom area The bathroomis a good size full bathroom with a walk in shower stocked with body wash and shampoo dispensers There are two closets in the unit I recommend the property if visiting Salt Lake City Also, the property has plenty of free parking around the hotel

Michael Palarchio

I would give this max a 25/5 We had a lot of issues that just can’t be overlooked in totality

I am surprised this hotel is rated over 4 given our experienceGood:Staff was very friendly and helpful The young woman working the front desk was very nice and none of this was her fault Large rooms, nice amenities, nice pool, EV charging a plus The hotel is newBad:Cleanliness needs serious improvement Crumbs and candy around the couch in our room, dirty facecloth left in the shower on the handle, back of the bathroom door had brown stains on it, hairs on bathroom floor Need to do better at thisBreakfast service was terrible There were very limited options compared to many other Hilton’s and I don’t think this is up to their standards by any means They had an omelette, no sandwiches until hours later, no baked goods, toast and bagels The batter was empty for the waffles for about an hour (I went back 3 times) Same goes for the coffee, there was a lineup of people waiting for coffee for over 30 minutes The breakfast service was just overall bad No lids for cups, out of basic cutlery, waffles were not appetizing even when they did come outAlso the coffee station in the evening was old coffee and barely warm water for the tea This is not my experience at any other Hilton propertiesOverall: nice property, good amenities, poorly run managed if this is the best they can do with a new building This place could be 4/5 if these basic things are done correctly

I read the reviews very carefully before I make a reservation at a hotel I want to know first of all that the beds are comfortable, and then that the hotel is really clean The Hampton inn went far beyond my expectations

It was immaculate, comfortable, and every person I spoke with was so welcoming! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! I also love that although the hotel is set at a fairly busy intersection, it is backed by a golf course, so everything was green and peaceful out my window

Kristen Monday

We have stayed at Hampton Inns for years and have had great accommodations We were really disappointed with this one in Salt Lake City The room was nice but we had a very squeaky bathroom door that we asked to be fixed after our first night

It still squeaked on our second night The beds were comfortable and the room was cleanWe got to breakfast late our first morning and items were limited but we thought it was because we were eating at 9:00 The second morning we were down by 7:45 (on a Friday) and the breakfast was VERY limited They were out of syrup, sausage, yogurt, English muffins, and fresh fruit There were post it notes posted apologizing for not having items but I couldn’t help but wonder why a staff member couldn’t run to the local grocery store to get some syrup? We have stayed at Hampton Inns during Covid and have had better grab and go breakfastsWe always try to stay at a Hampton Inn because they are known for great accommodations and breakfasts but now I’m not so sure

Nathan Hawkes

I was actually quite surprised at how nice this hotel is in the SLC and West Valley City area was For a Hampton Inn, it’s on the upper scale of nice For the location, you would not expect this

However, some of the amenities are not as good/bug as you expect The pool and fitness room are very basic and small The business room is bigger than expected It’s a bit hit/miss Also, the beds are fairly comfy and the bathroom has a full fan It seems to move the air and moisture fairly well

Not a 4 star hotel, but is nice and conveniently located downtown Their lock system for the doors to the rooms is very problematic I would not stay here again based on that alone

I had to have my key reset 4 times and some friends we were staying with got locked out of their room when they went to get ice The breakfast buffet looked really nice, but costs $20 The towels are extra long and the beds are comfortable I think the beds at Holiday Inn Express are better, but they are still nice I really enjoyed the hot tub The pool is a little on the small side, but it was a perfect temp and clean Overall, if it would not have been for the door issues, I would give this hotel 5 stars

The room was alright The bed was soft The problem we had was communicating with staff as is when we went down for breakfast the employee said it was a buffet and showed us in

We got the continental breakfast and sat down with our plates We just started eating when that same employee who showed us in came up and asked us for a voucher for breakfast We didn’t know what he was talking about so he said we had to pay We already got out plates of food so we paid Our bill was $43 for a continental breakfast for 2 people It was insane I feel like continental breakfast is nice it’s not the best breakfast but you put up with it because it is free They should honestly feel embarrassed but the cost of that garbage Oh And the cost of that room was absolutely not worth it We paid almost $500 for 2 rooms with a joining door for 1 nightYou can do better

This is definitely the place to stay to be close to everything! From our hotel we walked to the Gateway, Farmer’s Market, and City Creek! The rooms were clean and comfortable They offer underground parking for $22/day which is a bit steepThey upgraded our room because they ran out of regular king rooms, so that was an added bonus!

Pretty good location with easy access from the airport and interstate Staff is friendly and the hotel is generally okay The place is dated and it does show it’s age to some degree

My wife and I stayed two weeks here and it definitely wasn’t the best stay we ever had but it was acceptable They have a standard continental breakfast every day but no waffles or pancakes The rooms are fairly nice but nothing special Our microwave was old and the platter no longer rotated making it hard to evenly warm up food Our fridge didn’t have a freezer section but was cold enough to freeze water unfortunately There is also no temperature adjustment on said fridge The room did have a nice couch, chair, and table to allow for working from the hotel room The hotel internet was acceptable but we did bring a cellular hotspot to work from The bathrooms are small but look okay The shower was cold about half the time so I assume the water heating boilers cannot keep up with the typical demand from the guests Last but not least our sheets were dirty when we got into the room I definitely wouldn’t stay here if you want luxury but it’s cheap and doesn’t have bugs so it’s not all bad

Check in went fine Got to our room, it was decent Left for our concert then got back around midnight

Went to go to bed and pulled the sheets down to reveal 3 long hairs and 2 short hairs in my bed Called the front desk and they said they could move us to another room It’s midnight I’m not going to move to another room in the middle of the night after I had already unpacked all my things Had to be demanding that they come and make the bed with new sheets They finally did and I could finally go to bed Also when I finally laid down you could hear someone stomping around upstairs until 3 am I will not stay here again Not just the hair but the fact you can hear others in their rooms The manager gave us $25 off our stay I guess something is better than nothing but we will not be staying here ever again

Gabi German

Customer service: I said “good morning” or “hi” to more than 5 front desk employees and they didn’t say back All of them standing next to a “be kind” sign I found it sarcastic

Good location, easy access to train and restaurants all around itClean and confortable

Ended up staying here for a week The staff is super friendly, especially Paul! He was very helpful, professional and just a great guy! They are pet friendly too! Surrounding area of the hotel doesn’t provide much grass but there’s plenty of areas to walk your pet with the nearby propertiesHad a hot breakfast every morning with decent variety

From eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon to a mini waffle maker to muffins and bagels/bread Cereal and yogurt too! Plenty of good restaurants nearby and a couple of barsThe rooms are clean and comfortable The sink is outside of the bathroom which wasn’t a big deal to me Rooms come with a fridge and a microwave Would definitely stay here again They were great!

We paid for a king sized suite… the shower was barely comfortable for one person and the plug for the tub was just sitting on the side of the tub Our flat screen tv was quite small, you couldn’t really see it very well from the bed due to how small it was Honestly, there was nothing different from a regular king bed compared to what I had for king suites at other Comfort Inns

I was quite disappointed and had I known that was what the suite would be I would have chosen to save the amount to upgrade and just gotten a normal king bed, not the suite The room in general felt like it really needed to be updated, except for the mattress, the mattress was the only thing that felt suite like in our roomThe staff was pretty good and friendly though, I appreciated their work And I loved having check out be noon instead of the traditional 11am Everything also appeared to be decently clean as well, I feel like the staff cared but our room definitely needed an update and to not be considered a suite

shauna harris

Extremely dirty Everywhere not just the room Our sheets were not clean

Literally stains in the pillow and sheets The pool was dark poorly little the plastic covering for the roof had a huge hole It was freezing and raining in the pool We will never stay at a Comfort Inn again Not the first poor experience we’ve had Do not stay here Unsanitary

Amazing service all around I stayed for three nights under a pseudonym, writing as a freelancer about some local issues that seem to be occurring across the nation The rooms were fabulous

I switched rooms on purpose, because I am writing for a different publication about hotels The room service, the concierge and all the amenities were astonishingly phenomenal The rates are very fair, considering what you’re getting In this day and age of “the virus,” I felt very safe at the Sheraton The staff were respectful, mindful and very thorough Whenever I left the hotel and asked for new towels and the room to be clean, it was usually done within a couple of hours There are plenty of amazing restaurants in the area, within walking distance As a hotel reviewer, I did the typical things, such as asking for a hygiene kit, a lightbulb to be switched out and other things of that nature Never did I have to wait more than 30 minutes for anything to get done or completed to my full satisfaction If I had a chance, I would gift this hotel at 10 star review⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an old fashioned hotel but I don’t have any problem with that When I stay at a hotel the most important is that they are clean and the attention from the staff to the guestsEverything was good but they don’t have enough staff working at the hotel what do represent some inconveniences like when you arrive to the restaurant and you wait for more than 5 minutes for someone to take your order or offer you a drink and also that your food will take longer than what you expected when you are starving

to ask to the front desk for some help to bring you please a car for your luggage because the hotel has a large hall to take all your stuff from your room to the lobby and they don’t have anyone to do soThat’s what I decided to give just 3 starts

Steffany Turley

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here All of the staff was amazing, especially Cedric he made the check in process a breeze, he was personable and made sure we had the best experience The only complaint I have are the bed sheets, they are papery feeling and not cozy at all

Other than that everything was fantastic Will stay here again

Although I had read some negative reviews prior to staying here, my wife and I enjoyed our stay and we’re happy with the hotel We were on the first leg of a 3 state anniversary trip and upon arrival we were told we were upgraded to a tower room at no extra charge The room was VERY large and well equipped, a definite upgrade to what I had booked

Older decor throughout the hotel but well done and a change from what we usually stay in when traveling Just a couple of minor suggestions: provide glasses for beverages, only paper coffee cups were available Also, our room had a spacious balcony with a great view of the city but their are no chairs to sit and enjoy it?

I used to work here so I sometimes use my benefits to get a room for a day or two with my children as a short getaway Always a great experience and the coffee shop has some of the best soups and salads I’ve ever had We also had the brunch buffet a couple of times and loved it because of the variety they offer

There’s also a gift shop, a lounge coffee bar and indoor/ outdoor swimming pools We usually stay at a tower room but one time we stayed at a garden room and it was beautiful too I highly recommend Little America for your next hotel stay in Salt Lake City

Lisha Redford

I chose this hotel for my one year wedding anniversary with my husband Where the main desk is to check in, is beautiful, but the rooms are a completely different story There were stains all over the floor, the walls were dirty, the heating/air system was dysfunctional, the heating vents were hanging halfway out of the walls, the wallpaper was coming off in certain places

Absolutely no effort to clean this room before we checked in, or keeping up on the maintenance of the room I went to sit in a chair to do my hair and there was a huge red stain on the chair We ended up leaving and not even staying the night If I could give a negative review I would The $100 deposit is absolutely ridiculous, I would expect that amount from a nice hotel but this was disgusting Very disappointed

very clean rooms with a full size refrigerator and freezer a full 12 cup coffee pot with coffee provided and paper cups i didn’t look in any of the cupboards because we didn’t cook in the room there may have been porcelain coffee cups as well along with plates and silverware but I am unsure we only stayed one night and was our 1st time staying at a myplace

Bed was comfortable everything was new and clean we definitely would stay again

The hotel and room it’s self aren’t bad, it’s just sketchy They have an extra $100 deposit fee at check-in which I didn’t see posted anywhere but right on the front desk Cool, we paid that and stayed there for 3 nights

The last night we came back to the hotel a little late and after making it all the way up to our floor and room, the keys wouldn’t work We went back to the front desk and they acted like they didn’t know we were in that room still and we had to argue with them for the keys to be reprogrammed since they had shut them off All of our stuff still in the room, and they were trying to deny us access to the only beds we have at 1 in the morning Over $400 for our stay (not including the $100 deposit) and I’m in shock because I’ve never even heard of a hotel doing this I planned to come back and use this hotel often, but not after this incident This made me feel really unsafe, and really unsure about being able to leave my items in the room when I leave to do things If they’re going to cut off my access to the room, who may have had access in between?

We booked through a reputable third party service and the staff told us there were no rooms available when we arrived Multiple other people in the lobby who booked through other services were also told their rooms were oversoldWe requested a refund and were told that we need to get one through the third party service

Then we asked if we could get documentation from them stating they didn’t have a room available to provide as evidence in order to get our refund The immediate response to this was “I don’t have anything to give you”When new guests showed up to check in, the front desk person proceeded to tell us to sit down instead of helping us resolve our issue We were repeatedly brushed off when we asked for updates I realize the staff member was dealing with a stressful situation but she was unnecessarily rude I can’t speak to the quality of the hotel itself but the customer service left something to be desired
