The rooms were immaculately clean, and SUPER nice Our bed was so comfortable, we haven’t gotten a good night’s rest since we left There was a ton of space for my children to move around in our room

They even personalized your stay by having your name on the television in your room when you arrive The breakfast was PHENOMENAL, we went down both mornings we stayed I truly did not want to leave I will forever be an IHG customer now that I have stayed at one of these hotels I will absolutely be recommending this place

Antonia Mendez

This was a great hotel just 15mins away from Morningside University! Staff was friendly and respectful Breakfast was good with lots of options They had cookies downstairs around 3pm everyday which the kids liked

Our room was big, clean and the bathroom was a large too with a big shower! I loved that they had dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash! It’s little things like that in a hotel that I love! Good quality products to use when away from home! We will stay here again soon!:)

We stayed a Saturday night in January for $110 ($104 + $6 tax) The hotel is clean and new We stayed in a King Room and there was plenty of room and a larger TV

The hot tub was great and the pool was warm Bed was comfortable The free breakfast was exceptional with several hot choices: eggs, sausage, sausage gravy; as well as the typical oatmeal, cereal, pastries, and juiceDespite these great things I downgraded a star for the following: the detraction for me was the TV noise from a nearby room that seemed to resonate through the wallsAlso, the location is somewhat remote with nothing readily nearby within walking distance such as a restaurant or even a gas station This is on me since I didn’t do due diligence when checking the location

Living life positively

We make it a getaway as this hotel is amazing exceeds many hotels we’ve experienced nationwide

Coming from Omaha it is worth the trip The decor they did in this hotel is beyond the Five Star rating they’ve been honored with as an Autograph collection BUT , with my family operating hotels nationwide I assure you its the Employees that standout … one was Holly in the bar area , she knows her Profession in handling all the requests It is because of employees like her is what us want to enjoy the bar lounge Our family always made sure employees were taken care of as it is a major draw factor for repeat business So, many companies forget this and it shows up in their numbers Her Assistant Ashley as well Holly were amazing to see how they handled the crowds It’s always nice to come back to familiar faces Warrior take care of these employees as our family did to their employees Holly you have a talent and easily could manage a hotel I write this second review as it is justified

Shayla Deppen

This hotel could and should be a 5+ star rating The rooms and common spaces are just beautiful The detail the designers put into everything definitely caught my eye and it is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in awhile

The amenities were top notch and their fitness center had everything I neededThe hotel was lacking in basic amenities and customer service at times We had to call and ask for an iron and ironing board, hair dryer and our room was never serviced even when they told us it was going to be I realize they are on a limited service schedule but I called one morning to confirm our room was going to get serviced (day 3) and was told it definitely would but they just didn’t have a definite time No problem We came back to our room early evening and our room and hadn’t been touched—trash overflowing Housekeeping was already gone for the day so they just emptied our trash basically I would stay here again but they really should improve on customer service/housekeeping and basic standard amenitiesThere is one person I would like to give kudos Forgive me for not catching his name but he had glasses, brown hair, and I believe an earring He had a great attitude and was helpful our whole stay Thank you!

Honestly, I did not expect to find such an amazing hotel in Sioux City, Iowa This hotel rivals those I’ve stayed in in some of the great metropolitan cities Let’s start with the renovation and the entry

Sublime You know immediately upon entering that this is a world-class hotel The service was better than I’ve had in some much more “famous” hotels The staff truly wants your stay to be among the best you’ve had and they strive to make that happen The rooms are divine Too often in renovations of older buildings, the hotel chops up rooms to be ’boutique’ size (a synonym for teeny tiny), but this Autograph did no such thing Our room had more than enough space for the two of us, all our belongings, and space to relax, and the decor is a marvelous ode to the history of this building The rooftop bar is likely to become THE destination in Sioux City, in no small part thanks to the bartender, Deana, but also because of the incredible views and the firepits The lower level has a spa, a bar, and a bowling alley! Larry and Al made each night in the lower level a super fun time, and once the crowd dies down, Larry might just challenge you to a game of pool You will lose, but he’s a fantastic teacher, so take his pointers to heart Our stay was so fabulous we have determined to find a weekend we can getaway just to go to this hotel and not to stop on our way to another destination

We experienced a very hospitable front office staff Deb went above and beyond to help us out when we had to delay our departure in order to obtain RV repairs The park is very convenient to both the interstate highways and access to local business yet isolated and quiet

It includes a great view of the river We will definitely stay again

Mike de Ridder (nzlder)

The facilities and camping spots are good Safe feeling atmosphere in a tidy and clean campground Easy to get to and polite helpful staff

Campground is close to the highway so there’s noise from that…but that’s tolerable and expected That being said…you better like Trains Lots of them all night……blowing their horns After the first 3 (about 15 minutes apart starting at around 10:00pm) i was going to pack up and just drive through the night One went by about every hour…ended up packing up around 3:30am and hitting the road

Jim Hodges

Clean! Showers and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained Nice park next to the river Very reasonably priced

Lots of extras like bicycles and firewood convenient for guests Our trip involved 4900 miles This was the overall best park we’ve stayed at hands down Additionally, the staff are very courteous and helpful We will stay again if ever back this way!

Honest Fellow 53 years ago

I never had any issues with this hotel and stay here 8-12 times a year Being a Platinum Elite member, they have always treated me exceptional This was my first Weekend night and it was a completely different experience

Kids were running up and down hallways, slamming doors, laughing, yelling profanity and knocking on random doors including mine and then hiding I did report it to the front desk at about 11:45pm but sadly the situation was not controlled It finally got quiet at 2:30am and I was woken up by slamming doors and yelling kids at 6:45amAbsolutely terrible experience and not worth the $170 I pay for each nightThe M-Lounge is super dirty due to kids and other people who don’t care to clean up after themselves but I would at least think that staff would clean up Unfortunately it was untouched the next morning which makes it impossible to sit down and do work Pizza slices spread throughout, empty beer cans, dirty dishes, sticky table tops…The breakfast was great and the staff is nice like always

Craig Conway

Stayed here for a wedding Room was clean/fresh Staff was friendly and helpful

I toured some of the wedding venue stuff they have here and it was very attractive for the areaDuring our stay they offered breakfast which was decent They tried to mix it up for some variety each morning which is appreciated by some frequent business travelers Though some of the “variety” was quite bad, some was above average, and generally there were always basics to fall back on each morning Breakfast service staff were a little overwhelmed, chaotic and untrained They were trying really hard but just weren’t setup for success Serving staff needs to be trained to help their own efficiency so they’re less stressed and the guest actually can get coffee

Jenna May

This was our 3rd time staying here and I was extremely disappointed we loved it in the past so I brought a group of people to stay here again

Their was no room cleaning service, never got new towels for the room and the A/C didn’t work our first night We told the front desk and lady was rude didn’t apologize Just asked if she should tell maintenance! We were miserable Only positive was the steakhouse is INCREDIBLE!! We are suppose to be staying there again in May and thinking we are going to book elsewhere

I booked a 2 queen bed room for my family which I’d 5 people but my son is only 4 and when we travel he likes to cuddle with his mom so a two bed room would of been fine The hotel was gracious enough to upgrade us to a three queen bed room for the exact same price for free The room is superb beds are so comfy and spacious

The shower was very nice and everyone was able to take a nice hot shower after being on the road all day which was awesome seeing we have stayed and hotels before that were packed and seemed to run out of hot water I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the Sioux city area With so many fastfood and restaurants near by along with stores within such a close distance this hotel is a perfect stay

Amy Brandeberry

The front desk help was very easy going & efficient Breakfast was surprising! Many choices available & ran from 5am to 10am which is unheard of these days with the pandemic I had my ESA along & she put me on the first floor which was awesome bc most places put me on higher floors!! The bed was comfy, everything was clean

I didn’t care for the color scheme & the desk needed to be replaced Overall, it’s definitely a good value & we will stay again!

Jada Estrada

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at Always so clean and they have hardwood floors instead of carpet, which is so much cleaner! Only thing would be that the breakfast room is tiny/crowded and no black out curtains in the rooms Makes it hard to sleep during the day if you traveled at night

Otherwise, great location Right across the street from a Walmart and like ten places to grab food😁

First off, the staff that we interacted with were all super friendly and helpful The property itself is quite tired and need of updates It is still clean however

Suggestion to the owners: posting a notice that an exterior door may or may not open to allow you to exit isn’t really an acceptable way of addressing what should be an urgent maintenance item I’m not sure how long that notice was posted on the door as we only stayed one night but it did seem a bit concerning to me

Steve Davis

With a large tour group Check-in was terrible Called ahead to see if handicap accomodations could be made for a group of 3 to share same room

Upon arrival, majority of rooms were either not cleaned or were double booked A few rooms TV did not work After having manager called back in we were able to get everyone situated A few couples had to change rooms 3 times Rooms were clean You could tell this was an older hotel by carpet, plumbing fixtures, lights and drapes Staff was very accommodating and friendly considering situations Breakfast was okay Not a lot to chose from Hot food was limited, eggs and link sausage Make your own waffle Limited Cold cereal and pastry Overall not too bad Pool was out of order and not able to use

Jaden Wells

Was just stopping for the night on a long road trip and when looking up hotels found this one with good reviews and pictures that were showing us what looked like a new or newly remodeled hotel which was why we chose this hotel cause we weren’t looking for anything too old as we wanted a good nights rest some place nice Don’t get me wrong it was a pleasant stay the staff was great even with it being 1am, and we did sleep alright but we weren’t happy with the fact that we were mislead with a new hotel by their pictures and it was not that Price didn’t seem high until we saw what we got, to where I think it was a bit spendy for what you get

He’s absolutely top notch and definitely exceeded our expectations!

I had a nice room Check-in was pleasant But when I checked-out the next morning around 6:10am or so the front desk person was not polite or pleasant

I inquired as to why the breakfast was not out at 6am He did not do anything other than not caring about it He was basically an unfriendly front desk person People who get up early and to eat breakfast are on a schedule because of work A simple apology and can find out why it is not or give some type of reason why If more employees are needed then as a leader for the hotel, that leader must step up and help the situation by working to get whatever needs to be done to accomplish the task If needed get into the kitchen area and help or be proactive in finding out why Good leaders are the ones that show up to work and are not afraid to do manual labor when there might be staff shortages etc Saying I am not scheduled to be at work until a certain hour that is just not right A leader goes above and beyond a customers expectations and the hotel front desk failed in that during this visit

Jena Mendoza

Christine the staff that is in the highest position here, unprofessional, defensive, and rude Brought an issue up to front desk, no one called me back like they said, called back and received a hostile worker, Christine on the other end, letting me know she doesn’t believe me and they aren’t going to do anything about blood being found on a pillow in the room I was staying in She said the blood was fresh so they won’t be doing anything about it, let her know I’d contact corporate she wished me luck

Thank goodness for corporate, full refund

Lovely staff, paired with comfortable beds and cleanliness with an excellent pool and good breakfast What more can be asked! We opted for a roll away bed for an extra $10 that fit snugly in our double queen room but it worked! The floors didnt seem as sturdy as other hotels so we did constantly have to tell our 3 yo that sounds like a 250 lb grown man to step lightly (New vinyl plank floors may help transfer sound?) The beds were comfortable

The bathrooms had a bath tub The breakfast was a normal continental breakfast with waffle makers, scrambled eggs, sausage links, cereal, muffins, bagels, bread, yogurt, oatmeal, fruits, juices, coffeeAll in all a great stay at a great price

Darwin Miller

Booked adjoining rooms Checked in and room was given to someone else When you book the room it is x amount and then when you check in the price is way more

They said that is how it is They said we do that all the time Everyone you need to watch the pricing and don’t expect to get any compensation for their screw up They just accept it and move on as long as they got paid

Sara Sanders

This was such a clean and well presented location! My family and I enjoyed the the private sized pool and hot tub (the hours of operation are so flexible!!!) The breakfast was simple, but there were options, and the coffee was fresh and hot! The staff was friendly and accommodating If we are ever in the area again, this will be our hotel of choice! I felt safe for myself and my family

Thank you for a wonderful stay!

An extremely perfect hotel and personally my favorite place to stay I came here with my family and girlfriend around a year ago and loved every second The staff couldn’t be nicer to all of us while staying professional

I don’t know what its called but the snack shop by the front desk had a very affordable and wide selectionTheir food they cook is delicious at a good price I want to come here again to relive the moment!

This Hotel is awesome, very clean, nice location, very nice staff, Leslie, the front desk person was so nice, The in-house restaurant is awesome, fresh cooked food, the Chef and waitress/Bartender even went out of their way to get me some lemonade because I dont drink soda I would definitely recommend this place to stay if in the area WE SHALL BE BACK !

Check in was at 3pm We didn’t get let into a room til 5pm and we were told 15min then 30min Then an hr wait

We were the only ones waiting for a room The others that were with us got there at 5pm and were told there room wasn’t ready either Really did feel bad for the two girls working the front desk There manager should have been the one dealing with customers Wasn’t not compensated or anything for our room

Loved the jacuzzi room with the balcony! It was a HUGE space with a fireplace and wet bar as well Giant king bed and was super comfy! Felt like a studio apartment The staff were very nice and helpful

Hot free breakfast was good with lots to chose from The indoor/outdoor pool is nice but often full of kids They do have adults only from 10p-11p Overall a great stay Only negative is its a little pricey but if your there for a concert or downtown scene it’s close to all that

LA Glickman

This hotel is well-appointed and you can feel the friendliness the minute you walk in the door and are warmly greeted by the receptionist A nice fire is burning in the fireplace and is plenty of seating area to sit and relax There was a piano there but nobody was playing it

The room is well-appointed and has everything a guest would need The swimming pool looks nice but it was crowded with young people There is a very large Courtyard in the back with comfortable seating outside

Mark Lego

Seems like a decent place with nice decorThe room could be maintained a little better and the beds were not the best quality Swimming pool was nice with indoor and outdoor options both connected through the wall, separated by a nice looking waterfall feature

Hot tub also available Overall not bad experience
