The place is clean and fairly new The beds were very comfy and the room was pretty decent as well However, you can barely see anyone who’s working here besides the front desk girl

The only room service that provided was replacing the trash bag and towels for our two days stay The environment was suppose to be smoke free but we smelled weed in the hall way and no one cares or do anything about it The sound insulation is also super bad that during our stay, we had a noisy neighbor that kept us awake at 1am for two days by just walking on the floor or something I really wanted to love it here but our experience wasn’t pleasant as we would expected

Overall an alright stay Staff was friendly and helpful and rooms were clean There’s a park with a creek right next to it

But I am a young female and had a male house keeper walk into my room at 8:30am and again at 9:30am unannounced They did not knock or say they were entering, just walked in They told me they are not aware what rooms are occupied Which okay, but they could at least knock and say a verbal warning?? I would leave a do not disturb sign on your door while staying here

Your key card system was apparently down and no one could tell me if this was a 30 minute emergency issue or a two day emergency issue Associate did not seem to care despite disgruntled guests, offered to refund me for my entire stay, but had the nerve to still implement a $75 pet FEE Horrible and did not make sense, when you are inconveniencing guests with having to get escorted to and from their room all hours of the day/ night on top of there only being one person working

So others are having to wait on you while you put a Be Right Back sign out, and you are still implementing a pet fee makes no sense when there is a card for incidentals on file and you are protected either way Apparently they do not care about business practices, because it’s fine to loose out on a $130 room but not a $75 pet fee My family had to spend an hour trying to cancel and rebook somewhere else in your lobby while your associate was on speaker enjoying a personal conversation laughing the entire time because of your key system and lack of compassion Do better

I was there from Thursday to Sunday loved every other time I’ve gone there never had a problem at all hotel has always been great Until this stay Mind you I was there 4 full days 3 nights

Night 1 we went to lay down at the end of the day had not be on the bed at all it was still tucked in like it should be when you arrive and it had an odor to it I asked my husband am I crazy? He says no I definitely smell it So I called the front desk she said ok I’ll have a cleaning lady go clean the room for you I said okay thank you That cleaning lady never came My son had to go and flag one down to ask if we could have towels because there was not 1 towel in my room after we used them and put them by the door as instructed by the housekeeping and we then received a small fleece blanket Not the down comforter that was supposed to be on the bed Okay no big deal right? Well every day after that I had to go ask for freaking towels because they never came to leave any We stayed 4 days! And had to get our own towels every single day Also the trash was unreal I had to go buy my own trash bags to put the trash in because NO ONE EVER CAME TO CLEAN THE ROOM And to top of this less than mediocre stay on our last night there 7 trucks get broken into One of them being mine Everything was torn up and they stole items from my truck in the parking lot of this establishment WHEN I TELL YOU THIS WAS A HOTEL STAY FROM HELL I AM NOT KIDDING

I came to Houston for vacation and stayed at this hotel for an entire week I was placed in a hearing impaired suite, which was very clean and well maintainedPros for this Hotel are location, cleanliness, excellent staff and free breakfast

Cons were that the water pressure was low, with the hot water not working very well in both the kitchen and bathroom sinks My keycard also never seemed to work on the first few attemptsThe excellent location and friendly staff was what made my visit very enjoyable I would not hesitate to book this hotel in the future

Elvis Ruiz

Stayed here for a competition with my family The hotel looks like it was designed by Ikea, so yay! The room was clean and efficiently laid out The staff was friendly and professional

The breakfast was on par with most free hotel breakfasts I ask the hotel and Hilton in general, to pay more attention to sustainability Using styrofoam plates and single use plastic utensils and cups is no bueno

Justin Ofor

I wish i saw a 0, I would have scored you a 0, my experience was horrible, after booking through a third party for 6days, on my final day i missed my flight and requested for an extension which was done for me, went out came back to see the room cleaned all my stuffs were taken off including my anointing oili spoke to a front desk staff who put me through to the manager and we ended the call on a cordial note, but was rudely called by the same front desk officer and she started telling stuffs that i couldn’t understand, i told her to calm down that there was no need for her giving me attitude, next thing she said i going to check you out and i should leave the property, i said no and demanded to speak to her manager, next thing she did was to called the police on me, that was very scary and traumatic, i was eventually asked to leave by the policeit was really a sad day for me!!!I will never come to any home2 or Hilton subsidiary hotel again

Very nice property, well maintained, clean The staff member during late night check in was very nice and professional as were all staff that we had interactions with The only downside was the M Lounge not having any hours from noon Friday until Monday Morning

No need for breakfast those days, but it is a nice place to get away from your room, grab a good coffee and relax For that I would say 4 Star rating…but because we were upgraded in our room, 5 Star

Sunny E

Spending time here was good The parking was fine, plenty of space and they have a security detail driving through the lot periodically, surveying activity The lobby is an open design, containing a restaurant, Starbucks and sit down area

Several elevators ensure that you won’t be waiting too long Access to a pool and indoor facility I like the proximity of the hotel to the highway and toll road

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times While it is a beautiful, well maintained property with a great pool it is the amazing, accommodating staff that has us returning to this propertyAt check in James was professional, and kind to us as well as our service animal

He made sure that our stay was comfortable Mo and Marcela were always there to greet us as we left and returned They both took care of us and remembered us when we returned Leticia at the restaurant was also very accommodating and sweet when we asked to be seated outside of the restaurantI wish I could name everyone here as they have a wonderful, friendly staff that truly made our stay memorableOther than that, we loved our room It was nice and cool even with the Texas heat The pool is amazing It is large, both indoor and outdoor, has a kiddy pool outside and a hot tub inside There are plenty of umbrellas and tables to escape the blazing sun

Worse hotel experience I stayed in March 2022 and was suppose to be 2 day stay It was not peaceful and still in shock 😲

– 1st morning staying there I went downstairs to grab breakfast I decided to eat their breakfast omelet- Unfortunately I saw a dried bug stuck in their omelet buffet tray-Informed their front desk attendant ( I believe her name was Stephanie)- Attendant was rude and informed me it was not her problem since she was not in charge of kitchen- Reluctantly she went with me to grab the kitchen staff She came and took it the tray to the kitchen- Both staff walked back to normal duties and acted like nothing happened?- In disbelief I asked the attendant what just happened and she was rude I asked for a manager to contact me once he gets in Didn’t hear from the manager- Later in AM I talked to manager Erik Corona about the problem Manager was not ready to listen to me?- Manager was upset at me and requested my reservation be canceled and he requested I leave the premises or he will call police on me-I asked: I asked call police for what crime?- I never insulted, raised my voice or anything- In a state of shock within less than 5minutes Erik proceeded to call police on me- I felt so afraid that I had to call 9-1-1 to get Police to escort me to grab my items from my hotel roomRefer to the pictures taken

I loved my room The mirror in the restroom is legit It was squeaky clean

Loved that it had a microwave and fridge, which is almost impossible in most hotels/casinos nowadays However, I did find a dead baby roach, which means they spray which is good I guess The elevators are kind of sketch, got scared a few times Ice machine on my floor was broken, so had to go to the 4th floor The breakfast was great, they have a touchless pancake maker! But, overall my stay was great and I loved my room and the cleanliness Would stay here again without a doubt!

I wanna start by saying that I was here on a Senior Trip to Texas It was my girlfriend and I as well as 2 other couples staying in separate rooms Personally our room was fine apart from the blinds that wouldn’t go up or down

One couple on the other hand had to switch their room 3 times The first due to the shower head not functioning And the second because room service refused to sweep up sand off their floor When my friends walked in they were given a whole new room card and did not have any heads-up what-so-ever They had to move all of their stuff from one room to another at 11:30 PM When we got there the man working at the front desk (a young man with dark hair I don’t know his name) never greeted us or asked if we needed help When we told him that we booked a room on the website we could hardly hear what he was saying, he also had AirPods in and I don’t believe he was giving us his full attention We all felt like he was rude Other than that, the stay was fine Just a few small inconveniences here and there I do want to point out that Dale is an exceptional worker! He was very notable to me on this trip because I called him in advance to make sure 18 year olds can book He gave me a call back and said yes, answering my question When my girlfriend and I forgot to leave the “make room up” sign in the room we came back to the hotel and asked him if we could get some more towels He said “certainly” and came back the 4 towels we asked for as well as an extra wash cloth He asked if we needed anything else and we said we are alright and told him thank you Dale is the single reason I raised my review to a 3 star instead of 2 Dale if you ever read this I appreciate all you have done for us 🙂

Though the hotel was adequate, the catalytic converter was stolen from my vehicle overnight while parked in the hotel parking lot, completely rearranging my plans for the next day The security camera pointed directly at my car turned out to not be working when the police were checking the security footage The parking lot lighting shines just as much on upper floor windows as illuminating the parking lot

I am a frequent guest at Choice Hotels on travels, but this one is now off my list

TV sound was distortedTV was sitting directly on dresser Manager was notified and said tv speakers were under tv, that’s why it sounded distorted

She said she would bring tv stand and never did We lifted the tv up on rolled up towels ( ghetto ) When we first notified her of tv she offered another room but we had already unpacked everything The room smelled musty, sofa and carpet were stained She gave us a can of Febreeze for the smell Really! We put a sheet over the sofa to sit on it When we woke up there was a huge dead roach next to desk The Manager was rude and unfriendly! We will never stay at this location again!!! The Manager said she spoke to Owner and he offered nothing!

At first I was worried considering how the surrounding hotels had complaints about bugs, but during my stay I saw absolutely no bugs There was plenty of parking I didn’t have any loud neighbors

My room was clean, equipped with stove and microwave as well as a big fridge Bathroom had lots of shampoo, conditioner and body soap A/C was glorious I will definitely return

What can I say, I had high hopes for this establishment because of the way the wife’s brags about the overall hospitalityOn 04-27-2022 we checked in at 1am, unfortunately their was an issue with the system He couldn’t find our reservations at hand, and we never got the room what was reserved, but instead gave us a form to fill out then handed us our keys

No IDs nor any form of payments takenWas told to come back at 7am once the system is up and running after he gave us our keysI personally went their myself to retrieve an item I left behind Was unable to retrieve my item unless I payI was charged $8919 on a room that I didn’t asked for nor spend the night theirI can tell you this, I will never make reservations at this location ever again From my observation, I found the crew that day is very unprofessional

Mimi Altamirano

Be aware when checking-in!!! The front desk charge my card for two nights 3 times!!! That was almost $600 when I only signed a receipt for one night of $80!!! I found out after getting my bank notification about this transactions, now I have to wait for days to get my money back after I went back to the front desk to have them cancel them, and to make matters worse my bank couldn’t stop those extra charges since they were still pending

this really ruined my plans since I travel to celebrate my son’s birthday

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few days you won’t be let downReally enjoyed my stay here You can tell that the rooms are older The view of the lake was just what i needed daily I started here for bushes and it was perfect for my needs They do have a bar and food selections are limited They also serve free breakfast in the mornings

Rachel Phương Lê

Very comfortable bed, spacious They have a walkway with a little bridge that you can walk across to restaurants and shopping, great for jogging as well They are also pet friendly, great area to stay!Downside is they don’t clean the place very well so our room smelled like dog pee

Their selection for breakfast is extremely limited There were instant eggs and sausage patties, instant oatmeal and cereal Ask for drinks milk and Orange juice, extremely limited The pool is very small, and there are no microwaves in your room, you must walk down to the lobby to heat up everything

Steve Flaherty

Customer service is severely lacking I don’t blame the staff, as I question the management The keys are always having to be reconfigured

They might have Diet Coke or Coke, but rarely both Nice rooms and location But in all my travels, this place does not meet expectations! I don’t look forward to coming back every week only to be confronted by a hotel that doesn’t appreciate the ‘customer experience’ They have good people but their hands are tied Not a typical Hyatt, from my experience Wish I had something better to say I’m disappointed with this place

I stayed here this past weekend and I have to say everything was just lovely I was staying with my daughter, her husband and baby so we reserved a 2 room suite, the hotel offered to let us use a pack and play free of charge while there so that my grandson could sleep The pack and play was new, like it had never been used which was wonderful

The staff was so welcoming and nice, the breakfast was delicious! I really enjoyed the quiches for breakfast! First time staying at a Residence Inn but it will not be my last! Thank you for a pleasurable stay!

Michelle Solomon

Residence Inn have not changed one bit from the early 2000’s when I was traveling for work It’s 2022 a lot needs to changeHere is my list of concerns

1 The first room couch bed was broken and the room smelled like mildew, we requested a different room2 The second room smelled the same as the first one, so that tells me they don’t service each ac unit regularly and with covid still prevalent, it needs maintenanced at least every other week3 The rooms are outdated even though they added stainless steel appliances to have it appear updated4 The Marriott name when it comes to Residence Inn is being tarnished all because it appears that upper management doesn’t care about making sure the customers keep coming back to The Residence Inn5 The only reason I even stayed here is due to someone else paying for it The last time I stayed, my team had to be moved to another hotel6 I have a proposal for Marriott/Residence Innif you need assistance with rebranding I am more than willing to assistfor a fee7 Today, you need to be brought up to standards so you can stay in competition with the likes of Hilton and their brand

Matha Goram

The small team of dedicated and hardworking staff can only do so much when their hands are tiedThe age of the place can be deduced by the soiled carpets, chipped furniture and non-existent pest control servicesThe breakfast was a joke compounded by the failure to label the ingredients of the prepared food to assist those with allergy or dietary concerns

Wins the race for the worst Residence Inn experience in 35 years!

Not happy they say pool and Continental breakfast but none of that is true first off the pool is closed because they don’t have a permit and they say they don’t have the continental breakfast because of covid was a total rip off I could have paid $10 more and had a swimming pool and continental breakfast but I believed they had it and was very disappointed when they didn’t have any of it it’s a rip off

The worst customer service i have experienced in this industry Made a 2 night reservation Never canceled

Property Management decides on their own to cancel and then rerent the room Then, charged me I show up and my room is gone Manager tells me that he has that right if you are not there by 4 pm so, why would anyone make a reservation that has a later flight or a job or anything So i call customer care, i get no care, nothing they can do Up to 10 days to hear back Customer representative wants me to talk with Property Management I already did and got a horrible attitude Asked for manager of customer service, told no manager Asked if representative was working at home, said no Asked if he was working with no manager on duty Finally got transferred Told the manager what happened and stated a customer should not be spoke to in this way Manager states customers shouldn’t talk to her that way Confused, never raised my voice, was not blaming her, and was asking why this happened Manager ended up being very rude as well And, as i tried to finish as the manager kept interrupting, manager hang up Unbelievable!! No customer service, horrible attitudes, and no resolve on a simple 2 night stay So, as i told the manager, i will be disputing the charges with my bank and contacting BBB This is the level of customer care? This is not my first hotel But, this is the first time in decades to be treated so horribly by so many of your staff

Staff is unprofessional Breakfast was surprisingly great The hotel is old, smelly, and dirty

It’s tiny and unimpressive Pool was out of service Heat didn’t work (and it was in the 30s and 40s during our stay) We have to be in Stafford every weekend for the next couple months, but I’ll only stay here if I can’t find vacancy elsewhere Do not recommend

As a longtime Hilton Honors member, I used my Hilton app to reserve a room as I was making my way into town, very late at night The Hilton Honors account is shared by my wife & I which for the 12 years of membership has never been a problem until now Completely exhausted, at 12am in the morning, the front desk refused to grant me a room because my wife’s name was on the account

The gentlemen was un-phased by my appeals to secure a room I finally left, drove down the street to Courtyard and received welcoming service that should have been rendered at Hilton

Basic, but barelyThe good:- rooms clean- front desk polite and professional- high capacity rooms, for families- indoor pool- parking free and seems plentifulThe bad:BREAKFAST – The absolute worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel, let alone a Marriott- no eggs- no sausages- no bread (except for bagels)- no coffee cups- no forks (which aren’t needed without the food)- HORRIBLE attitude when approaching the single person kitchen staff, and asking her to refill anything

She was obviously overwhelmed and stressed, but was unable to remain professional Slammed serving dishes, while making several comments that people eat too damn much and that’s why she can’t keep up Regardless, I sat for 45+ minutes in the area watching family after family standing around waiting on food, and ending up leaving with their children disappointed and hungry All while 3+ staff members at the desk stood back doing nothing but watching Guess it’s not their job?- rooms look recently updated, but left unfinished (light fixtures missing covers, wood trim over restroom access hanging dangerously (ready to fall)- pool extremely small and room enclosed in was about 100 degrees- no towels in pool area (not restocked)- hallways not air conditioned and air stale and pungent- snack/necessity area very under stocked and expensiveSummary – If you need a fairly inexpensive place to sleep with a family, this place may fit that need If you’re counting on a great Marriott experience, breakfast or anything above average amenities, I would not recommend this placeI suggest any member of Marriott management come and sit in the dining areas during breakfast time on the weekend Just observe

Rooms are large and spacious Having a full sized fridge, dishwasher, and half stove is wonderful Pillows and bed were marvelous

Only two issues: they seemed to have run out of towels on our second day during the stay, and there was a small bug on the counter in our room when we checked in Would have been 5 stars if not for those two issues

Room smelled like smoke and mildew I told the front desk and asked to be moved to another room, “we don’t have any more rooms Let me go to the room to check it out” he came back down and told me he sprayed the room

(It really didn’t help much) I found mold on the curtain above the a/c The bed headboard had greasy smudges maybe from someone head and hands in multiple places Same thing on the closet doors Mold in the shower I booked for 3 nights and no one came to clean my room Went down to the front desk to ask why, they told me on weekends they don’t clean rooms and if they do you have to ask and it will be a light dusting No one told me this on my first day and even so, that’s terrible service to not clean at least once No one answered the phone when i called to ask for towels I had to pick them up from downstairs and no one apologized I truly wish I would’ve stayed in a different hotel because I felt nasty being there Only thing that gave me relief was the breakfast

Breakfast for self serve was surprisingly good Food was hot and fresh They also served turkey sausage! Hot coffee (only medium roast) hot chocolate tea and variety of juices

We got the larger room with king bed Love the large shower I didn’t use any “extra services” during my stay but kitchen and check in staff were helpful and courteous

Stayed at the Hampton inn over night on Friday to Saturday 3/5/22 and it was WONDERFUL! Everyone was was so darn accommodating! Room was big, nice and clean Bed was so comfortable! Check out is 11am and they were so nice enough to allow me to leave at 12 because I had to wait for family to pick me up! EXCELLENT LOCATION! Every thing you need is near! I would definitely stay here again! A Houston friend recommended this hotel and I’m glad I stayed here!! I was on the second floor and it was quiet as heck!! Thank you HAMPTON! See u guys soon!

I have to say that I was horrified by the state of my room I checked in late in the evening after a day of long travel form outside Texas Always satisfied with my Hilton experience, I didn’t feel the need to check the room before going to bed

What I woke up to is beyond comprehension and an experience that I have never had at any Hilton property1 I noticed stains on the bottom sheet of my bed They were faint, but they were distinct faded yellow stains on one side of the bottom sheet2 On the floor, near the desk, there were several morsels of dog food3 In the bathroom, one of the towels was stained with either lipstick or bloodThis is completely unacceptable When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told she was unavailable and give her email address Even after I mentioned the state of my room, the housekeeping staff didn’t come to clean the room nor was I offered a different room I contacted Hilton Customer service and they referred me back to the local team It’s troublesome to know that in a world where we are dealing with Covid and proper cleaning is essential, this housekeeping team has fallen way below the Hilton global standard I checked out early and went to another hotel

To start with the good

the room was clean The breakfast was ok, meaning it was ok, not great but could at least eat I paid for a premium room which should have given me faster internet and complimentary snacks daily This did not happen I had to request daily snack refill which did not happen until I complained then only happened after I complained agian which was still during my 6 day stay, yes 6 days So beware, if you book premium you will only get substandard room service

Sofia Flores

If you will be staying in the room next to the laundry beware every time someone is doing laundry the room will shake I literally freaked out since I was in the room alone with my 2 children had to called the front desk to ask if an earthquake was reported or what was going on It would have been nice to be warned about it or even better asked if we didn’t mind If I could add a video to this review I would

I got an incredibly good deal through Costco Travel — so I figured the accommodations would not be very nice I was so wrong! The room was gorgeous and had lots of features I really found helpful: a long bench you could use for suitcases or whatever instead of a single flimsy luggage stand Also

HOOKS! I wished my family was with me So many hotels just have one hook in the bathroom and it’s hard to keep track of whose towel is hose, have more than one bathroom kit up, etc I love the little key and purse stand in the front entry way The shower was hot and had water pressure The staff was SUPER nice and competent I also loved that the hotel itself was so close to so many dining options I was able to walk to the Mediterranean restaurant and pick up a lovely meal, walk to the gas station, and later drive to a pharmacy Oh yeah, the fitness center was pretty nice too Breakfast was yummy And last but not least, they were so kind to us coffee drinkers There were 3 types of caffeinated coffee in the room and I could even go get coffee in the afternoon from the lobby Coffee=happiness Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great Hotel Seems new My family and I enjoyed our room

Very spacious and clean We stayed on the first floor, the room has desk for working, a mini fridge, multiple lamps and a very, very nice bathroom We loved the back lit mirror Breakfast was available with so many options to choose from eggs, cereal, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt and juices and coffee to name a few But the highlight for us, was realizing that the pillows and bed lining was hypoallergenic Our son has severe allergies and it was really nice to be able to sleep without him having breathing issues all night We really did appreciate that The staff was very helpful as well and onsight free parking, steps away from a few shops was nice as well

This is a wonderful hotel For the price you pay, you get a good location, clean rooms and it’s just what you need Features a 24/7 fitness center, a pool (pretty small so expect it to be big), and a little cafe (don’t plan on eating there, it’s not much from what i’ve seen

Maybe for a quick bite) Anyway, I’d stay here over the Hyatt Place next door, as we have stayed there before and it isn’t as clean Would recommend

Not impressed with this Marriott in the area No change of linen or room service when asked, apparently they provide a full room service once every 7 days! So if you have a short stay forget about getting room service or change of towels The front desk is rude and does not entertain any calls, all they are taught to say is it’s their policy

I’d rather stay elsewhere, don’t stay at this hotel!
