The king suite is spacious and our room was clean with the exception of the side table by the bed The drawer and top of it needed to be cleaned before we could use it The toilet is very low to the ground, which is kind of weird to use it, but overall, the property is quiet and you cannot hear the other guests unless they are being obnoxiously loud

If you need to visit the area and need a decent place to stay, I would recommend this spot There are lots of different restaurants in the area although you wouldn’t know it just from driving down the road that the hotel is on

Tiger Lokey

Perfect price, perfect place , perfect people and the most perfect view There are few diff studio types available here, mine was small/king Fully furnished and serviced 24×7

Breakfast , laundry, room service and parking are perfect This location (close to 101, markets, restaurants) and view from my room is near impossible at this price point Sarojini at the front desk helped me with my booking and room service so many times Amal and the awesome team helped me make my stay feel like a breeze Recommended for solo travelers like me and also for families as I saw many enjoying their stay

Aubrey West

Well I guess bad business is better then good business Due to policy of extended stay if you like paying for a room that you aren’t even staying in then spend money here I finished a job early and went to check out a day early and instead of being refunded a nights stay I’m told I either checkout early and pay an additional $235 or keep my checkout for the next day and waste $136 since I won’t be staying in the room

What a joke! Don’t book here extended stay is a rip off

I booked the largest room at Bloomington,Mn best western plus for granddaughter kindergarten graduation celebration and the AC didn’t workit was 83 degrees in the room and I had a newborn baby We had to prop the door open just to get air

I S/w front desk Was advised we could check out or take 50% discount but another guess was accommodated with executive suite poolside Guess my skin was too dark to get that accommodation I have been coming her every year for 12 years and have never experienced such treatment My kids love this hotel but you’ll never get another penny of my hard earned “Black “ dollars

Jill Whitaker

I would give a zero star to the best Western historical Inn, st augustine, fl If possible We booked 2 rooms 3 months in advance specifically requesting GROUND FLOOR and beside each other and were told that would not be a problem

We specifically chose this hotel because they had ground floor rooms (We also confirmed our reservation 3 days prior to our trip) Neither one of those requests were met and one of the rooms is literally in a hole next to the ice machine To say the least I am LIVID!! END STORY, Don’t expect to get what you reserve Terrible customer service

Wow this place is a hidden gem Charming, friending, clean, quiet, comfortable We normally stay at a mid-range Marriott when visiting Palo Alto with the family, like the Courtyard

But this is our new place It has beautiful little garden seating areas tucked around the property, rooms are very clean, and staff couldn’t be more accommodating I never noticed it in all the years I lived here because it’s kind of hidden from the street But it’s definitely worth discovering

James

1950’s style motor inn that hasn’t been updated or maintained since then Exterior paint peeling off the facias and walls Wifi didn’t work

Asked for a lamp that didn’t work to be fixed and the guy never came Kitchen cabinets were rusted out Mold in the shower Staying here to save some money but will not come back Stayed on the 2nd floor and no elevator I will say one of the staff did help carry our luggage up the stairs The bathroom and kitchen sinks were clean but that’s about the only positive

When I walked into the room it smelled COMPLETELY like cleaning chemicals You would think this meant that the room was clean but it wasn’t The sheets weren’t clean, some pillows smelled like someone’s cologne, there was hair in the bathtub, and walls are thin

You can hear people walking up the stairs This is just a motel 6 dressed up I won’t be back !

This Hampton Inn is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Mountain View It’s easy to get to the freeway from the hotel too I was traveling for business and the hotel is close to where I need to be

There are plenty of parking spaces in the back of the hotel The room I stayed in was clean and well maintained Breakfast was good They only provide cleaning by request at this time It’s a good location and nice accomodation I’ll stay there again when I’m in the area

Mike Jackson

The hotel is adequate The price over the last year has ranged from $104/nt to $270/nt At $104, it’s a great hotel

At $270, it’s barely adequate It is in a good location for me so that’s why I stay there The breakfast is OK, but the Sunnyvale Hampton puts on a better standard Hampton breakfast No pool or hot tub No housekeeping unless you ask for it specifically

qswawrq q

Room is not sound proof We can hear cars passing by on the street clearly in the night Not good for light sleeper

They do not allow any late check out and charge $2 for a bottle water even for diamond members Room clean provided every two days and you have to remember to request itSuper bad experience Not recommended

SIX MONTHS I gave this hotel in advance to get it right I had booked a hotel for 2 guests, my treat to stay at this location for a concert at Shoreline While booking the hotel I asked what was needed so my guests would have zero costs accrued to them checking in or out

I was told to send back a form authorizing all charges as well as my ID and front and back of credit card to 1 Hold the room 2 Hold for incidentals 3 Charge the room upon check out Easy enough right? I guess not I checked in with this hotel THREE TIMES in order to ask if they needed anything else from me I kept being assured it was fine Well what would you know my guests were charged the $220 upon checkout which is double upsetting because they never should have been asked for a card in the first place How embarrassing when you are attempting to host a couple for a weekend out I am fuming mad, the hotel also looks great in the pictures and is barely hanging on to budget motel status in person I would give zero stars if I could

Sarah Yearian

The room was clean and beautiful The grounds are beautiful We had a king bed that was more of a queen

It is a Murphy bed The walls are extremely thin You can hear every noise upstairs and next-door Also if you’re on the first floor by the lobby you hear every one coming and going This is a solid place to stay if you are not a light sleeper Also their key maker wasn’t working so evey time we entered they had to open our door

Jason Matsumoto

It’s a decent little hotel, but the photos and marketing are a bit misleading, in my opinion It tries to sell itself as an upscale, boutique hotel with the website and photos showing the admittedly very nice grounds and common areas However, the actual rooms are not that nice, you can hear everything through the thin walls, and one of the 3 staff we interacted with wasn’t all that friendly (though the other two were extremely friendly and professional)

On the plus side, there’s a nice trail directly adjacent to the property, they have bikes that can be borrowed, and the prices are good We still checked out after the first night due to the noise

I have stayed at this Hilton location as well as others and for the most part my stays have been comfortable On this trip my room was comfortable but there was a noise problem There was banging and stopping about above me as well as loud person (and TV) adjacent to me

I will have to ask for a quiet area of the hotel if there is a next time staying there Something else of mention, I have stayed at other Hilton Garden locations that offer a free morning buffet but this one is not one of them so if you are looking for that offering you will be disappointed They do have complimentary coffee though I usually opt for Starbucks up the street

Hui Huang

1 There was a gold fish snack piece in the corner of the sofa Gross

2 Requested for room cleaning, was told can only do 1 day after It still wasn’t done 1 day after Requested again and it was done 1 day before leaving (1 week stay)3 I have gold status but I don’t see any benefits There’s food and beverage credits of $10/day Used that on water They offer free water upon day 1 check in but not afterwards Water 500ml is $3/bottle and bigger is $4/bottle I drink a lot Have to buy water from outside4 Breakfast has different options Not free The bakeries stay the same everyday I didn’t like them personallyMost staffs are friendly There’s a small gym as well It has everything needed No walk-in distance to less than $$$ restaurants nor groceries stores Location with a car is very good, not walk-friendlyYe, Contact directly without leaving a contact method Interesting

They work hard to keep their place clean and presentable I loved the remodeled walk-in shower! The breakfast was tasty, hot and plentiful All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful

I booked for one night and ended up staying for four nights The room was very spacious It was better quality than other hotels that I have stayed at in this price range The location is convenient for Palo Alto, Stanford, Redwood City and other nearby areas I would stay here again

Andrew Avila

Staff is awesome, big shout out to the breakfast attendant- courteous and quick with the refills! The Front Desk person who checked us in was super helpful and attentive Requests, like extra coffee, was prompt! I mean hang up the phone it’s there prompt There’s a few things nearby- coffee, mini-mart, etc

not too far from the highway I had a King room with a couch, a powerful mini-fridge, and damn good AC Walls are a little thinHotel is not at fault for the following:Being on a major street, some times people rev their cars or race down the street not enough to complain about, but enough to notice when it happensThe hotel is on a social class border- sounds a little elitist, but essentially the neighborhood in one direction is well-off and wealthy, in the other direction it has businesses that are tailored to lower income and underprivileged peoples

50 and $100 respectivelyThere is also a “Fitness Center”, but its consists of just a treadmill, stationary bike, and elliptical – no weights The rooms generally don’t have a view the curtains are motorized and are a dual setup with a blackout screenStaff is nice too and I’ll definitely be coming by again!

Martha the night worker is just aweful I paid extra for 2 queen beds so that my elderly mother and her 22 year old grandson could have their own beds when they came to visit us for one night After getting to their room at 10pm at night their room was a single King

I phoned and she said that the reservation was for a King She continued to argue with me over and over on the phone and even hung up on me She said she can’t give them what they need because they can only give them what the reservation was for and that the booking agent lied to me and I had to call them and have them call her I booked it with points and as we know those are business hours My nephew went back downstairs with the copy of the reservation Martha’s excuse then was that the hotel didn’t have any of those rooms If they didn’t have any why didn’t she just say that when they checked in and saw the King or the many times I called her while she continued to hang up on me Her communication skills are horrible and I would NEVER recommend any family here again This place could care less about their customers and will lie before they even try to accommodate So sad

Brian Ferrell

My elderly mother stayed at the hotel (just to sleep) They required her to make an unusually large deposit, billed her credit card for said deposit, and never issued a refund The manager confirmed that there were no additional charges (e

g, for damage to the room) and that the hotel released the deposit It has now been 2 months and my mother has not seen the deposit refunded It looks like the hotel has been scamming people like this for quite some time DO NOT STAY

Incredible hotel! From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s a special place The ambiance is unlike any other hotel I’ve stayed at The artwork and photography throughout add such charm and celebrates the history and achievements of so many Stanford greats, providing a strong connection to the area

The restaurant and bar within the hotel (both indoors and outdoor) are spectacular! The entire staff are so friendly and make you feel like a part of their extended family from the moment you check-in I felt so welcome and taken care of our entire stay The hotel room was very spacious and I was blown away by the cleanliness! I highly recommend this hotel and will never stay anywhere else when I’m in the area!

This motel is totally adequate It’s a clean, mostly comfortable motel in a good location between Stanford & San Francisco I recently stayed for 5 nights with my family when we were in California for a graduation

Things to know: they don’t clean rooms until after you leave So you won’t get a freshly made bed or clean linens each day When you need clean towels or more toilet paper you have to go to the office & ask This isn’t a big deal and won’t impact you if you’re only there for one nightThe only thing I really disliked was the bathroom The sink is weird and because of its design there’s no place to set your toiletries There is a small shelf below the mirror that’s big enough for a toothbrush & toothpaste but that’s about all The towel bar is long enough for maybe 2 towels at most, even though the room sleeps 4 On the plus side, it was clean & the water was hotOne other quirky thing is the floor is not carpeted but rather a hard surface It didn’t bother me & in some ways I liked it better than carpet because I knew it was cleanSpeaking of quirksI didn’t understand the “art themed” deal Looked like a regular motel room to me with photographs of the local area on the wall Maybe that bathroom sink was the art?

Ryan Spitzbart

Considering the fact of getting a really poor room downstairs, hearing some “noise” from above for 15 minutes straight and having to get up the next morning early was a pain Fortunately the front desk representative was very understanding and I got a more decent room, but this feels like a party hotel as noises seem to occur often Also being near El Camino is another drag as I might as well state I’m sleeping feet away from traffic

Otherwise, amenities are very basic and the front desk has some snacks and alcohol for a reasonable price Personally, I didn’t find this hotel my cup of tea, but for those wanting to have a rowdy time here and save some money, this is your place!

Aaron Hysom

Front desk guy was not friendly, the rooms are not like the pictures Cheap linoleum floors make for an intolerable situation on the first floor Place was dirty, 2 yellow pillows, one flat one round

No pool, no NOTHING, This place was just too depressing to spend the week in while out of town on work I told my manager and he will reimburse me for the Holiday Inn I payed for to get out of this place Don’t waste your time, money or life-time on this place Enjoy CA spend 40$ on something you can enjoy

We love the pool and the location of this hotel The staff are all super friendly and professional Check in is fast and efficient and the managers are present and helpful

Our room was very clean and the a/c works great which is a big thing for us This hotel is older but it is still the best place to stay You can walk to Stanford Mall and the shops at Town & Country as well as downtown Palo Alto We look forward to our next visit

Karla Mei Robertson

The location can’t be beat, and I’ve got 20 years of positive memories from this hotel The pool is nice and my kids love it (although it’s a bit chilly and I really wish there was a hot tub) The staff is good and the ground are nice- so get a garden view room if possible

The rooms are basic, serviceable But the walls are paper thin So if you have a noisy neighbor you are screwed But I’ll take my chances and will keep coming back

Gordon Burgess

Have kids and want to hear more of them? Enjoy the euphonious roar of an ice machine? This is the place for you! With walls carefully engineered to be as thin as permitted by law and a layout designed to amplify 60-year-old Karen’s shrieking while she pounds tequila poolside at 2am, this is truly the ultimate experience No need to get an adjoining room for Uncle Steve, it won’t save you from his snoring and you won’t be sleeping either wayPros: The location was great, the staff were efficient and friendly, and the room was clean

Check-in/check-out was smoothCons: Noise 🗣️🛏️ Guests were yelling in the pool area until 1-2am for the three nights I was there which could clearly be heard through closed doors, and no staff enforced any kind of quiet hours Other noise from guests in the hallway weren’t stopped by the thin walls and made the whole experience pretty terrible One morning I was woken up at 6am by an employee dragging pool chairs on the concreteI only ended up getting a few hours of sleep a night and it impacted the business trip I was on I would not recommend this experience to others The shouting of guests stays with me in my dreams but I’m lucky to already have tinnitus to drown it out

Kind of surprised at the quality of this hotel for the price Stayed for a friend’s wedding but would not stay again Area rug and bathroom sink were dirty in our room, there were cracks in the floor of the shower, and couldn’t even get staff to answer basic housekeeping calls

The most frustrating moment was asking for washcloths and receiving bath mats, hand towels, and then moist towelettes, in that order Despite staff being friendly, they seem poorly trained

Booking at the Creekside Inn was the most delightful surprise I travel to Palo Alto monthly and usually stay at a Hilton or Marriott property but because nearly everything was booked for the week I was there last, I took a chance on this place It’s a dream

The setting and environment is so understated from the road The rooms are clean and up to date and the balconies are a really nice touch It’s in a very natural setting Housekeeping was prompt and the area restaurants and cafes are everywhere It’s the closest I’ve stayed to my work destination and the Creekside Inn will continue to be my choice on future visits I wish they had a loyalty program!

Waldo, the boy at the front desk, was extremely rude He tried to scam me out of $400 when I originally paid $120 He acts like this is the fanciest hotel ever… it’s not

When i refused to pay the hefty price tag, he also refused to let me have a refund so I could go to another hotel He claimed to have called his manager, but said I wasn’t aloud to talk to her? It was just all really strange and something I’ve never experienced at a hotelI did really like the rooms, super clean and big I would have liked my room more if I hadn’t been standing outside for 4 hours arguing with Waldo Seriously guys, I would skip this hotel They scammed me out of 250 dollars

Great place I got a very affordable rate directly on their website despite booking only a few days before The cleanliness and quality was well worth the price

The check in process was seamless The area in general was pretty quietThere were more extras than I expected for the price: plastic drink/water cups, ice bucket, decent quality TP and tissues, well-functioning ice maker outside, well-stocked separate soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower, coffee maker with coffee and cups, etc They didn’t skimp on the towels and pillows, either I was just by myself and had three pillows in the room along with more than enough towels for twoThe fridge worked fine, as did the AC I didn’t try out the shower, freezer, coffee marker, or TV, but everything appeared to be clean and in good working order Along with being very clean, the room was decorated in a simple but tasteful way (lots of calming, muted blue-grays) and didn’t have any smells I appreciated the lack of heavy scents and perfumes and got plenty of restful sleepThey were even nice to me about the fact that I forgot to get my stuff out of the room before going out to brunch the next morning, calling me so that I could come get it Totally my mistake, but they didn’t charge me and were very kind about it I’m likely to come back to the area sometime in the future and I am very likely to go straight to their website and book I’ve stayed at my fair share of 1-2 star inexpensive places in my life and this was among the best, if not the best

I stayed at the Redwood Creek Inn recently and found it to be very clean, comfortable, and affordable The host was friendly, courteous, and provided answers to any questions I had The room was spotlessly clean and of ample size

The bed was comfortable and spacious There was a garden area where would could sit and relax I would recommend this facility to my friends Anne Henigan

Mariela Estrada

The rooms were very clean had enough towels shampoo a nice size refrigerator and coffee maker with coffe included had hair blow dryer and clothes iron Bets were clean and confortable They also have a very cute area out side to sit and enjoy the weather

I love the service and had a great experience the pride was reasonable in that area I will definitely go back

We arrived early after a early morning flight from Montana We were tired and wanted to rest before starting medical appointments at Stanford I called and was promised early check in at 1 but when we arrived at 11:30 there was a room ready for us! So excellent

Then we were told our room wouldn’t be serviced as we were only staying 2 nights Then we arrive back to find a cleaned room and made beds which was so welcome after a stressful day Great service, great value We will choose the Coronet first when we come back to Palo Alto!

We were forced to stay here as our 1 month advance booking which was confirmed at another Marriott was shifted to this place to as they were overbookedRooms are very good Nice and clean

But no one comes to housekeeping everyday, that’s surprisingPlenty of parking was available when we cameAnd the breakfast was everyday the same, sausage, scrambled eggs and oats, milk, juice etc which can definately be improved

Sanjay Senthilkumar

Not the best hotel as such but definitely up there Great value for the price paid Really helpful staff and the location is amazing! Not the biggest issue but there are multiple buildings and my room was very far from the help desk

Would help to have a secondary help desk if possible

Man-Soo Hwang

This was my first stay in over 2 years Not sure if it’s the result of the pandemic staff shortage, but they would only service the room if you ask for it On one day they didn’t service it even after I asked for it to be before leaving the room in the morning

I hope this is a temporary issue as I really like this place due to the convenient location

We stayed here while receiving medical treatment at Stanford Hospital The owner and cleaning staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs The rooms have been completely remodeled

Even though the hotel is right off a major road, the rooms are quiet at night and we didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms There is a lovely patio with outdoor furniture and water features where we spent a lot of time The landscaping is beautiful There are restaurants, Walgreen’s and shopping center within walking distance We enjoyed our stay and have already booked to return

Viki Lowrey

This classic motel has been remodeled with all the modern-day amenities that one could ask for I booked the last room the afternoon of our stay for four nights and was first impressed by the reasonable pricing for the area Upon arrival the young man in the office was warm, caring, professional, and welcoming too

The room was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean You have all the convivences of a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and supplies including free snacks They also offer more free snacks in the office for the taking They even give you a razor and a toothbrush They have covered gazebo type outside seating surround by a beautiful garden and two soothing fountains What a wonderful place to unwind after a long day We were greeted by the owner who took the time to speak with us and even had a bottle of wine brought out for us Above and beyond does not begin to sing the praises of the experience we had during our stay It is home away from home without the hassles of everyday demands Stay here and you to will be glad you did

Amber Lee

Amazing stay here at the Palo Alto Inn The manager is very kind, friendly, and welcoming We felt right at home here for our dead show vacation

The room was nice, clean, and we had a few extra things inside we didn’t expect like snacks, drinks, extra toothbrushes/paste even a razor and shaving cream all free AC blew cold and clean all night and the bed was SO comfy Would definitely stay here againHighly recommendedIf you are a late owl like us, definitely get food before the entire town closes

I’m not sure why it’s rated as a 3 star hotel I thought it was greatThe Aloft lobby had games for families

They had great out door seating and a nice pool The room was very clean and modern I really loved having a Bluetooth speaker in the room ( super cute, shaped like a fender amp) I would stay here again It was about a 15 min drive over to the mountain view amphitheatre with traffic

Jennifer P

loved the non-carpted floors (I hope / trust it is wiped very clean between guests!) The towels were not the cleanest looking but again, I trust they were washed well I also loved that the water pressure in the shower was strong to be able to take a quicker and nice warm shower

The parking lot towards the back of the property could use better lighting, it is so dark that you wouldn’t be able to see if someone tries to break in

Elie Glik

Stayed here for a business trip Hotel is pretty good (except for noise isolation), and would have been a 4/5 star review, except that:They didn’t charge me for the hotel room; when I called, it was hard to reach the manager who never returned my calls Finally they just charged me again for it, but didn’t send a receipt

Management seems pretty incompetent and billing was a pain Please fix
