Love this hotel! My suite was very large, there was a nice outdoor pool and hot tub, nice and well-maintained exercise room, very good free breakfast including hot food options (bacon, eggs, etc), safe neighborhood (corporate / techy area), and all the staff were extremely professional and accommodating Rooms have balconies / patios! Standard rooms have showers but no tubs; if you want a tub an accessible room will be a better optionAn even-numbered room will face the exterior or parking lot

The view isn’t as nice but if you have a ground floor even-numbered room it will be very easy to access your car and bring in luggage through the patio door If you have an odd-numbered room it will be facing the courtyard area and be a nicer view / more secureThe ONLY thing I would change is that my patio facing the parking lot didn’t have much privacy; I wish there was a hedge or low fence rather than just opening right into the lot This is a very minor thing though and having a patio at all was amazing10/10 would recommend this hotel to anyone Huge rooms, great breakfast, pool and spa, and very nice staff Will stay here again

OUTSTANDING STAFF AND PROPERTY We recently hosted a conference in a neighboring community and was contacted by Mr Steve Jones, Sales Director of the property

We must note this was the beginning of Excellence in all aspects of this relationship Mr Jones set the bar high in customer service and personality but that level of service was provided to our group from check in through checkout We ended up with about 40 rooms The staff, front desk, housekeeping, and on site management (Janet was a superstar!) provided excellent service Austin represented the property well when I checked in We felt welcomed! The property is located in an excellent easy to access location, but really is in a quiet and pleasant location away from the busy street Property was well maintained and rooms were very comfortable Breakfast, under the current “Covid protocol” conditions was goodThank you Mr Jones and the entire staff for hosting our members They expressed their delight in choosing this propertyIf we have opportunity to return to the area again, we will be choosing Hyatt House Cypress/Anaheim

Nadine Pelletier

We stay here every time we visit family and friends in socal a we never have any regrets This hotel is fantastic if you have pets with you on your vacation The staff here is excellent

The only cons a:e I have seen people smoking by the doors and you have to pass through them to enter I believe this a non smoking hotel and the hotel really needs to do something about people who have the audacity to do it in a non smoking property Also, right now there is a car that has been parked in the red all night and I cannot back my car out

Hotel experience was great We were in town for Star Wars Celebration The Staff were super friendly

The rooms were a good size and clean Only recommendation is the carpet may need to be replaced There was a musty smell in the room Great location Able to walk to restaurants, The Dollar Tree, and Target Love the fresh cookies in the evening!! Special shout out to Jason for calling to let us know that we left some clothes behind We were able to swing back and pick them up before we left town We will definitely be staying at this hotel again 👍

J Smith

We stayed on the 4th floor and the room smells like musty old cigarettes From last night up until this morning there is no Hot Coffee available Staff at night was awesome, morning staff not so much

As a Diamond member I’ve stayed in many, many Hilton branded hotels and this is pretty close to the bottom of my return list Holiday has a nice hotel nearby I’ll be staying there next time I’m in town on business

Adan Verduzco

This hotel feels dated in comparison to most Hilton properties

its a drag that you can only use the main entrance and keys don’t work on side doors The other thing that sucked was the attention to detail my shower was dirty and had someone’s long hair still hanging on the shower wall not cool also room service never came to refreshen the room over all maybe under staffed 🤷🏽‍♂️ but I definitely will not be staying here again not worth the money for the room kind of motel feeling And the musty smell😳🤮

First time staying at this hotel The staff is super friendly and they all have warm greetings The person that checked us in was informative and gave us advise on best places to eat around the hotel

Also told us that their breakfast was bomb I was super hung over and needed food in my system the next day I remembered the front desk told me about breakfast So I got myself up super early to get some lol The place has super comfortable beds The rooms are a good size and have great looking bathrooms Definitely staying here again

Been staying here since 2011 Always loved the place New general manager recently started

Bottled water up from $1 to $3 Check in drink vouchers not usable because the hotel’s tapper is broken Morning free coffee not available until 6:30 Hope the facility enjoys their new general manager They have lost this loyal longtime customer

Martin Rudolph

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had The staff is very polite, Steve, the manager on duty the 5 days we stayed here was very helpful The bar is well stocked for the size (small but adequate) and the breakfast buffet is well priced for California

Personally, I hate this state, everything is over charged, but this hotel is a true value in every sense It’s also very easy to get to and from every attraction here, next to a gas station for easy fill-up, and has many good choices a quick walk away American, Hispanic, Hawaiian, Barbecue, Fast-Food and Asian! Future commiefornia trips will be centered from this hotel

For a $20 a night incidental charge, I feel like they should be paying us the money to stay at such an awful place It’s basically a motel6 with the continental breakfast! Where to start, their windows don’t open at all therefore the whole second-floor smelled like smoke and mildew The only ventilation was an air conditioner that made noise as if a semi truck was parked outside my window

The fridge was very wet and unclean inside! I had to find a pillowcase that wasn’t stained to sleep on The curtain in the shower has no stoppers so it slides to the middle and allows water to leak out! The gym was dirty even from the night before, there’s no thermostat in there so it’s like running in a stuffy room The breakfast sucked, and the coffee they use are manual like you’re camping! And let me say, for the snoutiness and arrogance some of the staff has portrayed at this hotel is way beyond me! If you really do things by the book at this hotel then you would look into these small details, obviously they have escaped hotel management and I would really like them to spend the night in their hotel rooms so they know what guest are dealing with!

Upon entering the lobby and approaching the front desk, I was not greeted but rather stared at by an agent named Michaela as she continued to use the paper cutter I waited for approximately 5 minutes while she glanced at me periodically before my presence was acknowledged Even then, it took for me to initiate contact to let her know I was checking in

Upon checking me in, she asked for my name but didn’t confirm with a photo ID and did not acknowledge my status While checking for rooms, in a very rude manner tells me that no rooms are ready and that they might ready around 1PM She didn’t offer luggage assistance and didn’t confirm my contact details I did provide feedback to the agent stating that I felt she was very passive and had no desire to interact with me She failed to anticipate my needs as a guest, and ruined my check in experience with her poor attitudeWith the traveling experience I have with Marriott, it was disheartening to receive to a below-standard experience What makes it more disappointing is that upon leaving the lobby, I observed that her behavior towards the guests after me were not the same Even when giving her feedback, her response lacked empathy I made an attempt to reach out to a manager to share my stay experience, but did not receive a follow up I will never stay at this property again

Morgan Watson

Roaches crawling on the nightstand Incompetent staff Old, smelly

Homeless person out front and in the lobby harassing guests DO NOT Stay here Stay away at any costs, many other hotel options in the area that are at minimum clean Asked to speak with a manager on multiple occasions When the manager Jex finally called me back he stated that he was “tired of customers calling to complain” He also stated that he would not be willing to do anything given we had to change rooms at midnight with small children Extremely rude and unprofessional I will never stay at this hotel brand or specific site again I will be contacting corporate given the experience

ELAINA BLOUNT

We were in town for a dance competition and this was the host hotel This was the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered in a Marriott property This brand is my hotel of choice so to say I was beyond disappointed is an understatement

The entire hotel was filthy and wreaked of smoke and stale air The first suite I checked into was unbearable The second suite was not much better My only choice was to go to the Target next door and buy Clorox, Lysol, and other cleaning supplies and deodorizers and clean the room myself The microwave and refrigerator were disgusting Dried, caked on food and splatters all over Dust everywhere Splatters on the faucet, sink, and mirror The tub looked as though someone had stood in it with muddy shoes Even after cleaning , the tub was still stained I bought comforters that my daughter and I used to sleep on top of the bed, sleeping bag style Luckily I bought Raid and sprayed the room because there were huge roaches and spiders all around Unfortunately this led to DEAD bugs in our room When I complained, the desk clerk said “I’m sorry” and offered me stale snacks Calling the front desk for service was futile so the only recourse was to go to the front desk or catch a housekeeper in the halls Customer service is not at the forefront for the staff This property is severely dated and neglected and definitely reflects poorly on the Marriott brand

Sylvia Lanker

Carpet was stained, looked very dirty, torn in areas The hotel was obviously old, but that wasn’t the problem The carpet should be replaced

No amount of cleaning can help a stained, worn, separating orange carpet The Lobby & courtyard area were okay It was too late to find another hotel, which was what I wanted to do as soon as I started down the hallway Very disappointed Marriott should not have there name on this hotel, it’s deceptive not to state it a very budget hotel with true pictures I would love to post pictures, so others at least know what it looks like Definitely beware of assuming Marriott means a decent place to stay Maybe this is the best it gets in this area Will not recommend or ever stay again 2/5

AJ Dahl

Staff is polite, helpful and accommodating The room was clean and everything worked as expected Its very nice to be able to sign into Netflix on the TV for the kids

Its within walking distance to Knotts Berry Farm, Medieval Times, several restaurants which makes it very convenient Pool was clean and heated We enjoyed our stay and were comfortable I would stay here again and recommend it to family and friends

Absolutely adored our magical stay here! The staff was so amazing and kind The rooms were SPOTLESS, not a speck of dust which I’m pretty particular about Whole place had a cute vintage vibe

There was a little garden by the pool that we ate our complimentary breakfast by The hotel is very close to Disneyland and the walk there was actually enjoyable because we got to see all of the Disney owned hotels and beautiful flower landscaping Perfect for families taking their kids to Disneyland Highly recommend!!!

Dan Ragsdale

Got a great deal on this hotel, and it was well worth it The staff was incredibly friendly, the location was great, and the room was clean There were a couple small things that could be improved, but they were tiny(loud fridge for example)

Also, parking is good for the entire day of checkout, which saved us $30 on parking at Disneyland Overall, a fantastic experience for a very fair price

Nayla Castillo

Each second of our stay was positive and lovely I want to give a shout out to Aida in the front desk for being really helpful over the phone and assisting me on booking the hotel She is very professional and friendly along with the rest of the hotel’s staff

The price was reasonable for our stay since it is only like a 10 min walk from Disneyland on a really nice area The beds were confortable, the room was nice no issues with the amenities, however you do have to call the front desk and ask for housekeeping serving before 10 AM (there is a sign in the front desk) I did not find that as an issue nor minded calling, it was nice that they give you an option The breakfast was really good as well! It was filling, and for me there was really good variety of choices like yogurt, bagels, eggs, waffles and even cereal Other than that my family and me enjoyed our stay, we will pick to stay at this same hotel next time we have vacation to Disneyland

Five nights for business/pleasure Masks currently optional inside though strongly recommended by CAClean, comfortable, attractive lobby, deli/gift shop, restaurant

Friendly & helpful staff Shuttle to convention center/Disney Grounds and pool are beautiful Dated rooms not an issue for me However, this is:“Housekeeping will not enter your room butare happy to deliver items upon request” Be prepared to make your bed & clean your bathroom, call to have garbage picked up outside your door & for new towels, more coffee or toiletries There is no room service or microwave You have to use the microwave in the deli (6:30 am – 10 pm) which is a good walk from many of the rooms I guess you can borrow a vacuum if needed Just like being at home I’d say less than 100% vacation mode for Mom I’d check out other hotels for included services before booking in the future All things equal, I would stay here again

Shauna White

The location and shuttle are great The shuttle was always on time and really helped make our Disney trips easier The hotel itself is really pretty old and in need of a renovation

The bathroom is super tiny and really can only accommodate one person at a time, which might pose a problem when getting ready in the morning It was clean and comfortable though The grounds and the lobby also beautiful Overall the price, free shuttle (all other places charge), and location make this hotel a good option for your Disney trip

Raquel Ayala

I want to first say the good or great things about this hotel The staff at this hotel is superior to any 5 star hotel I give the staff 5 stars! From checking in, maid service, restaurant staff and pool

The staff was by far the best I have ever experienced The food at the Deli and Bistro were good Now for the negatives the beds are old and really hard The reading lamps don’t work Everything from the shower curtain rings falling apart, to the glass on the table in the room that our three year old almost brought down on his head with minimal effort No outlets or outlets that don’t work are a bit shocking Windows that open but no screens to keep the bugs out was strange Zero AC in the upper floor hallways But the most shocking was the cockroach our 8 year old mentions (hey what kind of bug is that grandma?) on our door on the last day at the hotel The pounding from the construction workers outside renovating the hotel was definitely a bit much especially when you have small kids who need a nap If it wasn’t for the staff it would have been a waste of money to stay there and would have asked for a discount

Stayed from Jan 20 to Jan 25, 2022 The room given to me was okay at first glance But from the first night onwards, cockroaches starts crawling on my bed, it started appearing everywhere

The next day morning I talked to the front desk, they seemed not surprised by complaints The front desk said they can’t change my room since I already lived there for one night and other rooms occupied (though not occupied in reality) I asked the front desk for control measures for my five-day stay They said they will spray cockroach spray but never sprayed Discount is not the solution Reality is what everyone should know!

Dos MexiRicans

Gave it a 3 Because rooms are decent for the priceTheyre good, not bad

I gave it a chance bcus of soo many good reviews But honestly the location is a bit sketchy Came here as a single mom with two kids, and i felt a bit worrieddefinitely would NOT recommend for a family Go for the higher priced at a location that makes you feel SAFE

Sydni Baker

From start to finish, this was a great stay We arrived around midnight and the late night staff opened up the lobby for us so we wouldn’t have to stand out in the cold at the late check in window The room was clean and cozy and the bathroom was HUGE! I’m the morning we went to breakfast

We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and cleanliness of the continental breakfast They even had breakfast burritos and hot coco ready to go! The location was quiet as well and everyone was very accommodating!

The people who work here are friendly and the convenience to the park is fantastic Everyone I spoke with tried their best to make me feel welcome and comfortable I really really wanted to like the hotel

But honestly, l’d rather pay full price for tickets and cover the cost of parking to stay anywhere where at least the beds are comfortable, breakfast is included, and I don’t have to worry about the Creature from the Black Lagoon trying to make a break for it through the bathroom sinkIf you like extra firm mattresses, you’re probably fine However, for people who need something softer, this bed was so uncomfortable that it kept me up all night long I was in so much pain and so exhausted the next morning that actually going into and spending the day at Knott’s park was really rough I even had to call the front desk at about 230am just to get a comforter to lay on top of to try to make it easier to sleep but I was still not able to get comfortable Laying on the floor with a sleeping bag would have been marginally less comfortable but not by muchThe pool area was actually delightful No complaints thereSadly, after spending the day at the park, we came back to a hallway that smelled as though it were drowning in marijuana We then discovered a thick, black, gunk and what looked like rocks sitting in our sink To their credit, the maintenance staff did a great job cleaning it up Like I said, the people are pretty awesomeIf I’d managed to get a good night sleep here, I would have given them 4 stars at least but the hotel failed to serve its primary purpose

Sammantha Sadler

You sacrifice fanciness for convenience here The whole Snoopy wing could use a remodel, it is very old and dirty The walls are pretty thin also, don’t expect fantastic sleep

The emergency fire sprinklers had cups taped over them?!? How is that safe??? The room AC barely kept up with the July heat Bathroom sink was clogged up 6 floors and took the maintenance crew hours to resolve, while leaving my room door open the whole time, exposing my valuables BUT the staff were very nice and accommodating The lobby looks brand new, the restaurant inside is hot but very nice and beautifully run Electric scooters for rent in the lobby are fantastic ($60/day)

Brett Bartlett

The Knotts Berry Farm Hotel is in a great location You can hear the roller coasters going from almost any room The walk is about 5 minutes from their lobby to the theme park gate, very convenient

The parking lot is easy to access and the lobby appears to have been remodeled in the last decade I wish I could day the same for the rooms It appeared the only modern upgrade was the addition of a flat screen television The rooms are small and the floor felt dirty to walk on with bare feet The bathroom is cramped, and the mattress was the most uncomfortable I have slept on in living memory Each day, I struggled to get up as I felt new and increasingly more uncomfortable pains in my hips, back, neck and shoulders When we finally came home, we went through a whole process to try and make sure we didn’t bring bed bugs home with us Leaving things outside, washing things multiple times as we brought them into the house, and lots of showers that first day back I think we escaped unscathed, but it is disappointing to think we had to even take all those precautions

Very nice and comfortable beds there The rooms are better than most and the front desk lady is super I have been there only 2 times and believe it or not

She actually remembered me along with the room that I had requested and did her best to get me the same type of room just by going from her memory of what I had asked for on my very 1st stayOnly down side with that hotel is and I completely understand the reason for this but you will have to leave a deposit of $20000 in order to get a room and that’s on top of the room charge Other than that I loved it

Amanda Lynn

My fiancé, the kids and I stayed at this hotel for the weekend We came in from out of town and the hotel seemed to have good reviews online We arrive in the room and the sheets looked stained and dirty

We got a nonsmoking room but it wreaked of cigarette smoke We got a room with a bed and a sofa bed…But the couch was really dirty and gross as well They don’t seem to have high standards for cleaning I honestly wanted to leave but we just got in super late and couldn’t find another hotel at that hour I called the front desk to see if they could get us fresh sheets but they said to call tomorrow The guy unfortunately didn’t speak English very well eitherSo I had a very hard time at explaining to him what was wrong Needless to say, I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here If you don’t mind staying in a dirty room than by all means but if you want somewhere clean than don’t stay here

Kipp Kahlia

I was looking for an affordable motel for a staycation since I work from home I saw the Google reviews for this place, and wondered if they were false reviews THEY WERE ALL TRUE!The room was spacious enough to hold a nice-sized TV, a big desk, and a love seat, which I really appreciated

It was the perfect place to read And there was still a nice chunk of clear floor area which I was able to use for my workout! The place was super clean (I’m VERY fussy about cleanliness), and there was an extremely comfortable King-sized bed The shower was great — the water pressure was perfect, and there was lots of hot water — and there was a fridge hidden inside of the cabinet that the TV was onMy room was quiet, which was important to me — I didn’t really hear anythingMy view from the window was the back parking lot (I was on the first floor),but it was great that I was able to park close to my room each night And I wasn’t paying for a viewI was able to have a staycation where I felt completely comfortable with the room, at half the price of staying at the first place I talked to And the staff I met (front desk) was cordial and helpfulOne of the reviews I read said that this place is a “hidden gem,” and I TOTALLY agree

It was a great experience for the three nights we had Tho the parking is small and sometimes hard to get into since they are located right behind the staff lot for Disney Overall its a 9/10 from me as it was good, the lot and the food are a bit of a miss but, when in Anaheim you aren’t here for the hotels

But a definite recommendation to stay at if you’re visiting Disneyland, only a block away from the action!

We checked in at this hotel for our trip to Disneyland because we had a good experience on the last Best Western hotel we stayed last on our trip last year Our experience now is different Hotel room was a little dirty, sink’s paint was chipped

There is a smell on the carpet, exterior of hotel I think is under renovation The only good thing is the customer service we received from Maria Romero Very nice and accommodating she let us checked in a little early since we came all the way from the bay area

My family stayed at Best Western for our Disney vacation from 6/7 to 6/12, and overall it was very disappointing Bathtub water was too hot such that we couldn’t stand it Refrigerator was broken so whatever we put in would turn bad

We reported both issues to hotel front desk, but no issue was fixed and no one ever contacted us for follow-up We will not go to Best Western again

We stayed here for 4 nights for a family trip to Disneyland The hotel was absolutely wonderful! It is an older hotel, but it was absolutely perfect for what we needed All of the staff were very nice and helped us with whatever we needed

We used the ART transit and it worked perfect for us to get to and from the park and was very convenient! They are not cleaning rooms right now but we really didn’t need it (and they would have cleaned if we had requested it) The beds were extremely comfortable after a long day at the park and the hot tub and pool were great We also loved the Disney’s breakfast vouchers and used them almost every day!

2 Stars because the price was decent The location in relation to the park is ideal However, we stayed 6 nights and were told room service would come the 3rd day and they didn’t come at all which was frustrating

Had to request fresh bedding and towels from the front desk The pillows are terrible I would rather spend a couple hundred more and get a better hotel just down the street!

This hotel is very good with the rooms, air conditioning, coffee machine and tea, a refrigerator, a microwave and hair dryer also provided The water pressure in the shower is good as well Plenty of towels provided for two people to stay in the room

Front desk staff is available 24 hours and was very nice when greeting me upon check in They also include with the room cost a build-your-breakfast buffet at Denny’s restaurant located directly next to the hotel There is an additional resort fee of $7 that gets billed at check in Clean sheets and nice blankets and plenty of pillows

Stayed overnight in a one bed room Extremely clean and well maintained Staff at check in were very polite and a stay at the property offers some discounts at nearby restaurants

The room was small but not cramped for 2 people, and the microwave and fridge were super convenient The water pressure was fantastic, perfect for a relaxing shower after walking Downtown Disney and the area all day Parking is extremely limited, so the 1 car per room limit is very reasonable; people were courteous and we did not have issue getting a spot It is SUPER close to everything, and is a hidden gem ideal for a short getaway

I was pleasantly surprised by this property The room was clean Prices were very good and the property seemed well looked after

The staff was very courteous and friendly and seem to care about the guest experience The free coffee in the lobby was actually pretty good as well I did not have a vehicle, but there was plenty of parking in the parking lot and it was well lit This property did not feel unsafe at all I would recommend this hotel to others if they are on a budget or just want a decent place to stay I would also stay there again

The staff are very nice, the inconveniences where here and there Such as they where doing room refurbishments while we where there, and asked us to remove our items off the tables which took up a lot of our “getting ready “morning time But I’m sure that is not a regular thing

What truly bothered me is how bright the hall lights are I would wake up in the middle of the night thinking it was morning because I could see those lights on either side of the curtains Other then that it was a great experience! Very close to Disneyland, the beds are comfortable, the place is clean and they have a vending machine that we made good use of 👍

This place was fantastic for us! We were in CA aadopting a newborn The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and personable We had a few adjustments to our schedule while here, and Michael did an outstanding job accommodating our needs

There are groceries stores close by, laundromat across the street & some restaurants around the area This hotel is Spanish themed in terms of decor and they put us on the 3rd floor due to less noise as well We had a King Room Suite that had a desk for working, couch & TV with plenty of AC outlets for electronics I would highly recommend this place!

I am such a fan of this hotel! Friends and I stayed here in February after a disastrous Airbnb experience Rooms are so much bigger than at name brand hotels, plus you get a mini kitchen with a full size fridge and range The kitchen has all basic necessities including utensils

Not to mention, there is an actual couch in the roomI came back to Anaheim in July and decided to book at well known hotel After seeing the small, stale room I canceled the reservation and went on Hotel Pepper Tree’s website I was able to get a room for 3 nights at the last minute We literally checked in at 10 pmOnce again, this hotel saved our trip Rates are comparable, but the rooms and the service are so much betterThe hotel itself is well kept, but not full of amenities The pool is huge, but no hot tub No ice maker on the premises, elevator is small and stuffy However, these are all minor issues and everything else makes up for it

Beware this hotel is NOT pet friendly as they claim My wife and I chose this place mainly since it stated it was pet friendly and close to Disneyland We were first met with an undisclosed and outrageous PER PET FEE of $45 a night!!! We have two dogs so that was $90 per night!!! No where on their website is this price disclosed

I understand pet fees and I have paid them before but NEVER this high and per pet!!! On top of this they also require you to not leave your pet alone in the room for any length of time the whole point of a pet friendly hotel Are dogs were in there crates at all time so it was not like they would be left to roam the room The manager was not at all understanding and frankly could careless The manager threatened to take our $200 deposit and have as leave if we did not comply All of this completely ruined or vacation since we were with our family and my wife and I had to take turns staying in the room DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR PETS
