THIS PROPERTY IS NOT A HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS I called from the road to book a room and was told they could not access my info and to give it to them to reserve a roomI was intentionally misled in believing that I had called a Holiday Inn Express

When we got to Conyers, we drove all around looking for the HIE, finally stopped and called the number posted I was then told WE USED TO BE but now we are a Best Western ImperialNice hotel, clean room Breakfast was alright however they did NOT have the cinnamon rolls that HIE made famous

T W

Booked two rooms here Was told we couldn’t book for Monday because it was past midnight so we arrived Tuesday morning only to be told we had to check out Tuesday after checking in early Tuesday morning The never offer to charge a early check in

They stated I would have to pay for Monday and Tuesday They also harassed my minors in the second room I booked when I had already made it clear that they were getting their own room at check in Tried to speak with the manager about it but was told she wasn’t available and that she was going to tell me the same thing At this point if I’m not contacted I will be taking this situation further

Rita Elijah

I’m here now The first room I checked into the curtains were broken The lady at the front desk was kind enough to give us another room

The second room seemed okay until the smell hit me Dust around the vents and chairs dirty I didn’t even bring my things in I’m so scared to go to sleep because I’m scared that something may bite me ( seen the review on bed bugs) The room really doesn’t seem clean If it wasn’t so late I would’ve kept driving 9 more hours to my destinationStayed two nights Last night the room was great

Kimberly the manager was phenomenal to my whole entire family!!! We were traveling from Florida & I called her few days before our arrival to see if they can accommodate a few things for us and she made sure everything went as smooth as it can be It’s very rarely that you’ll come across genuine people like Kimberly I would recommend this hotel if your traveling to Stone Mountain it’s very clean they serve hot breakfast every morning & all the other staff are nice!!! Kimberly if your reading this thank you very much for everything and I will sure visit again when I’m in Georgia

DeWese DeWese

Nice, clean, comfortable; however, I didn’t like the roll in shower or the pillows I got a headache from sleeping on them Close to eateries

The room has a college refrigerator, and a microwave is very handy The price for the room was a little high, and the money they held on my credit card was high and unexpected Also, the amount of time that they hold it for is not reasonable 5 to 7 business days way too long!!!

Destinee’ Gregg

Let me start off by saying that I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! This hotel is definitely not equipped correctly I stayed here for business and they didn’t make my stay very pleasant The housekeeping people are VERY LAZY

They like to snoop around your room but hesitant to clean the room, change linen and clean the bathroom with fresh towels I had my whole family with me during this visit so I would expect for the hotel to be top notch Some days that we did get towels they either were dirty or had hair on them The pillows had these blue stains that housekeeping allowed to stay on our beds We practically had to beg them to clean our room The whole entire staff is very unprofessional and rude especially the General manager ALTON! This young man is VERY DISRESPECTFUL! This man wanted to charge us $250 for a blanket that was in The babies crib because it had a stain on it They assumed it was a permanent marker which in fact it was a orange that our daughter was eating We got the orange out of their lobby where they serve breakfast Instead of asking us about the blanket they automatically tried to charge the card I know for a fact any type of food will come out of a blanket Instead of ALTON talking to someone in a professional manner he choose to be very rude and disrespectful I will never waste my money and my time ever again at this establishment If you know like I know please run far away from here I definitely learned my lesson and I will take my business and money to a better loyal hotel that treat their guest like they are supposed to be treated

Clean and spacious rooms, wonderful views and continental breakfast Needs a bit of updating but has the old classic feel that the park is supposed to give off Staff was helpful and very friendly

You do have to pay $20 to get into the park and you still have to pay to do all the other things in the park such as the laser show and other activities

Rhina Castillo

I’m giving 5 stars based on location (right across the street from the light show, water play and dinotaurium), cleanliness, value for price and service The building is dated, but it’s comfortable and had a nice sized pool We were traveling with two small children ages 3

5 and 5 so this place was ideal as we did not spend much time in our room The room is huge with a large bathroom and living area which allowed enough room for them to get their energy out Property is surrounded by beautiful lawn and scenery My husband took a relaxing morning run All in all, it fit everybody in the family’s needs

Kim Hubbard

To start with my room was nasty, the bathroom looked someone had been mud wrestling in the tub and the ceiling had a hole above the shower head After being moved to another room, we had no towels and it took about an hour to get enough for two people and there were three of us Then later that night we had to call the maintains person to come and plunge the toilet

Most of the staff acted like they had no ideal what to do in any situation Would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Our stay here was great! We had joined rooms The breakfast was good I wish they bacon 🥓 but it was still a good selection of items

Staff was nice, beds were comfy, room was clean and plenty if wash cloths and towels Only thing was of the toilets wouldn’t flush because the floater in the tank was set to low Took the top off the toilet tank and boom the toilet flushed So we left it off to be able to flush The hot tub was awesome! Got too hot, stepped out to cool off then back in! Lol Pool was cool too! If you’re in the area, check them out!

Brittany Williams

The staff was great, everyone was very helpful and polite Breakfast wasn’t bad, snack time was good and shocked they served free alcoholBut now for the bad, Hotel is older and somewhat run down

Beds are very uncomfortableAnd the worst part was our room had German roaches that were coming out of the TV and entertainment centerPool is not heated

sereda aston

The bed was comfortable but, this was the smallest room we have ever stayed We booked for five nights, very pricy at $986 For that amount, we felt like we should have been given a suite

We have always enjoyed staying at the Drury whenever we travel but I must reiterate this room with the two queen beds was small There was not enough dresser space for our clothes, I had to leave some in the suitcases I do believe we will not be booking Drury in the future This seemed to be one of the older properties I am giving three stars because of the breakfast and the kickback We stayed May 11 to May 16, 2022 We fell in love with Drury in 2005, when we drove cross country We stayed at the first one in Tennessee It was very spacious, no complaints

Great personnel and nice rooms: tidy and clean The breakfast is included and rich of many options Every day a different hot meal is served, including fruits, yogurt, cereals, juices, waffles and the beloved as well as necessary coffee

Basically it is very hard not to find what you want Plenty of parking spacesThe only reason I could not make it 5 star is because of the music at the entrance of the building I was in a room on top of it and it was continous and annoying until late night and starting from very early in the morning Even though people might be pleased to walk in accompanied by some great music, it really can be heard (especially the basses) all night long If I had to stay longer I would have asked to change room Make sure you don’t pick any room close to the main entrance!Everything else was perfect

Mimi E

I would not recommend this hotel, especially while it is being remodeled It is a mess! Dust is everywhere The parking lot is full of materials and machines

Watch your tires! The workers began working and moving things around at 7:00AM Two of our pillow cases were NASTY! They had something GROSS on them We notified the desk attendant of our nasty pillow cases She walked with us to the room and was appalled too She took pics and notified the manager Hampton Inn you’re much better than this!!!!!

TL;DR: HIGHLY recommend for large group events in Decatur!ACCOMMODATIONS & SERVICEThis hotel and staff were EXCELLENT Comfortable and stylish rooms, and staff were very helpful to address any questions or needs We were there for my sister’s wedding and they accommodated the whole family

It has such a comfortable feel with gathering spaces for everyone, large parties or small groups Some rooms have windows overlooking the central community area which I liked, but if that’s not your thing and you want more quiet you may want to request an externally facing room The pool and the gym were also quite nice, and the cafe serves Starbucks beverages which was a nice morning treatPARKING & LOCATIONThere’s ample parking also It’s super close to lots of shops, restaurants, and things to do which was really nice for everyone who was in town We stayed busy and no one had to drive anywhere Also really close to MARTA

Keki B

The accommodations were nice and clean You can tell they take cleanliness very seriously, which is greatly appreciated The room itself was decent

Sort of modern, however, the bed was firm and comfy I did love the hardwood floors That was a very nice touch Overall, I enjoyed my overnight stay The $10 parking though, I didn’t love Haha

Tyler Schimmel

Our van broke down on the highway so we had to book a room quickly for the night The customer service was great! When we arrived we were greeted with water and a quick room upgrade I do not remember the mans name, but he was very accommodating

Their service to our room was fast when we asked for anything extra and our room was very clean Although we did not plan on staying here, I would highly recommend it I

Our stay was excellent from the time we checked in to the time we checked out We utilized online check in which allowed me to select a room on the higher floors where we felt we wouldn’t disturb other guests as we do have small children Being able to view the floor layout on the app is definite perk when traveling with small people

When we arrived at the hotel the front staff was friendly and helpful We were able to find parking within the gated garage no problem We found our room and were able to get squared away for the night The room was clean and comfortable The bathroom was well lit and spacious The breakfast in the morning was plentiful and accommodated guests of all ages We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when in the Atlanta area

Excellent Hotel, Great Rooms, Great Staff! We took a flight from Arizona to attend a family members graduation from Emory University We were not familiar with the Atlanta area, and were thrilled to find this Hampton Inn based upon reviews on both Google and Trip Advisor When we arrived, the staff member we interfaced with was excellent

great customer interface and pleasant We parked in the parking garage next door, which was affordable, safe, and the next building to the hotel We asked for and received extra towels since we were in and out of the room over a three day periodOur room, which had one king bed, was spacious and nicely appointedWe interfaced with the General Manager, Jerry Roach, who was extremely friendly and who helped us to understand the variety of eating establishments around the immediate areaWe had a rental car and found it quite easy to arrive at the hotel from ATL the ride from the Airport was quick and not complicated at allOur ability to get to the Emory campus quickly was uncomplicated as well Fifteen minutes at most Starbucks is easily accessible by car; approximately 12 minutes away and not hard to findOverall, this experience was a 10/10 Congratulations Mr Roach and your staff for a top notch hotel experience

The staff here are all wonderful, friendly, helpful and nice/sincere! In fact, I would rate the staff here higher than any hotel I ever stayed at (and I travel a lot and to some swanky places once in awhile) Marsha, Jada, Ranford, Lewis and an amazing chef Latoya, all left lasting positive memories for me! Really, they may as well all have been trained at a 5 star hotel Whatever is making the culture of the staff here service at this level, please keep it up and share with all your hotels! Menu was limited, but the breakfasts and dinner I had here were just fantastic!

Jessica Krueger

Very friendly staff , amazing rooms, the pool felt great in 101 degree weather There was no hot tub however it was filled in But the room bedding and towels and toiletries were very nice and clean

This was a very interesting experience – but in a good way I booked a room after not really reading much about the location itself It’s not a hotel, it’s a bed and breakfast which surprised me

There aren’t many rooms but we didn’t have any issues with parking or getting checked in The building itself is old but very clearly maintained and cleaned I booked a room with the jacuzzi tub in the room The tub is barely large enough for two people of medium size More than enough room for one person The customer service was also excellent When I mentioned a pork allergy during breakfast, we received a chicken patty instead of sausage The rest of the breakfast was really good too The location can’t be beat either, so close to Stone Mountain Definitely would go back

Sylvia Spurling

Beautiful property with an excellent host The rooms are luxurious and impeccably clean The host, Christian, is warm and welcoming, and very helpful with recommendations

The shower is great, breakfast was delicious We would certainly recommend One of the nicest B & B’s we’ve ever experienced Big plus is a great German restaurant in walking distance

Joy Kello

This Bed and Breakfast was delightful! Large rooms, very clean, excellent breakfast, homey, and amazing customer service! Cristian and Adam were kind and caring hosts! From precheck-in to check- out they went above and beyond! The location is great with plenty of great places to eat within walking distance! Loved this stay and if we are in the area again we will definitely be staying again!

What a lovely resort, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The location is incomparable, the view of the lake, Stone Mountain in the distance, and a pool deck that overlooks the lake view, it was really lovely! I came from Savannah to Stone Mountain to enjoy a weekend of hiking and biking If you are an outdoorsman, this resort has everything to enjoy in nature! The staff who checked me in were kind and attentive, especially Alex, who handled my check in and processing Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was very nice, Frey was an absolute darling, and very attentive to her guests

I look forward to staying here again Rooms were very clean and well kept, and the hotel, while a little dated, is well kept, organized and clean as well

Kelley Guest

Beautiful Hotel, severely understaffed For a resort be prepared to find your own dolly and cart your own luggage When I say find your own dolly, I mean search the entire resort and floors

That staff was friendly, just overwhelmed The only time it seemed as a resort was when there was a convention Despite this, the breathtaking mountains and scenery made up for this The restaurants were pricey but good and also understaffed The pools were great and both hot tubs were nice I enjoyed my stay and would return

Cynthia Tolbert

I loved mostly everything about my trip to Atlanta Evergreen My room was very nice, however the balcony was dirty The view from the balcony was awesome

The lake and the people on the lake and the sounds of the animals were relaxing On a sour note, an article of clothing was stolen from my room I must add on a positive note the food was excellent! I will revisit👍

Our third and last stay at this location in 3 years At this price point breakfast was not included, water pressure was very low and room sofa sagged terribly Room/bed was clean & comfortable but the whole property was in need of maintenance/upgrade

Our room had peeling wallpaper and our hallway wing had sustained water damage Also as a “pet friendly” facility, there were no pet waste stations Staff was very courteous but did not make up for the above mentioned issues

Monica Curbeam

This is not a Hotel it’s an upgraded motel The lobby was nice Rooms not so nice

Musty dirty carpet Found hair in both beds Asked housekeeping to change bed, she put sheets on desk and expected me to change them Bathroom door had hole in it where they just plastered over it Saw 2 baby roaches on TV stand and 1 in Bathroo m Nasty hotel/motel

Joe Anderson

For a Courtyard by Marriott this location misses the mark by a long shot It is in very serious need of maintenance issues, cleaning issues and upgrades I walked in my room and it smelled musty

The locks on the doors are ancient and the bolt will come out if you do not fully engage the handle as you are leaving If you are not careful it will leave your door ajar while you are gone In thebathroom, there was mold/mildew under the rim The grout on the tile floor was “fixed” with chalk and quite poorly All the chalk in the bathroom was poorly done The outside of the tub was filthy!! The sleeper sofa has clearly seen better days It sagged seriously in the middle, enough that I could not sit on it comfortably They advertise and show the capability internet based television The connection is not completed for this service Finally, I walked out of my room in the evening to find a housekeeping/cleaning cart outside the door in the hallway No room was being cleaned nor did I see any staff member nearby I also saw some very serious remnants of water damage on the walls in the hallway I SERIOUSLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION

One negative was very low water pressure for showers This hotel apparently does not clean rooms day to day Tried to call down to get some toiletries refreshed and got attitude from front desk staff Has nice restaurant and bar inside hotel Parking was clean and safe under hotel Likely not going to return to this hotel on future visits to Emory due to poor staff service and lack of any loyalty program

Visited Emory U This hotel does a very nice job! Loved having 2 beds, would have loved 2 queens more Great location and easy parking

Campus shuttle service avail Breakfast buffet was nice Hotel is upgrading Our original room in the South wing was right in the middle of the construction Dust was everywhere and 1 elevator is exclusive for construction The conjoining door in our 1st room would not close When I told management they moved us to the main building The remodel/ update is very nice and will be great when completed

We had half a day to kill With 7 and 9 year old children So we called before making a reservation to be sure the pool was open (it’s July BTW)

We were assured it was open Upon check-in the manager rudely told us that the pool was not open and that for all of 2022 it has been closed So I recommend booking the establishment across the road, they have a working and open indoor/outdoor pool

The room was a king bed with a sleeper sofa Room look good until we put are stuff down My son and wife sat on the sofa and it was wet

I opened the sofa bed up and the urine smell was bad I got a instant headache The sofa bed had stains from the still wet pee that my family touch They did move us to another room but it only had one bed for three adult size people Very uncomfortable! So I Don’t recommend this place at all The room cost $28800 for one night during the Memorial day weekend Saturday we check in left Sunday morning but still had to pay full price for the room WHAT! Yes even after my family touch urine Because the manager would not be available until Tuesday that’s what the staff told me So I contacted the manager and she said that she would take 20 percent off of the $28800 bill Really after my family touch someone else wet urine Not acceptable the night should have been free Really I DON’T recommend this place at all Check my you tube page out for video
