Beware before staying here This was supposed to be an anniversary trip, but I am regretting it Has not been a comfortable stay at all

When we first got to the room I could tell it was an older building because it was quite dusty and immediately set off my allergies Still dealing with the swollen lymph nodes to to this date While our room was fairly sized, the furniture was old and in poor repair The dining table was ready to collapse at any moment, the bed was a full size, not queen, the hot tub was broken as was the gate to get to the pool area There are no rollaway beds which we asked for because the main bed was not big enough for two adults and the pullout blocked the doorway so you couldn’t get in or out of the bedroom, which is where the bathroom is located The sofa is broke down The breakfast left a lot lacking It was the same thing every morning and I laughed as other guests sneered when they were treated to the same breakfast items from days before The front desk let us know there were staffing shortages so I depended on my self to do my own housekeeping and bought my own kitchenware as I was missing a skillet that no one ever brought me The icing on the cake is being way overcharged twice for “incidentals” I had not incurred and then told the charges would be corrected in 7-10 days and we’re talking hundreds over the booking amount That’s no just a security and incidentals And it was way more than the 20 dollar a day charge they claimed The staff is cordial and they do a nice job with the reception, but the place seriously needs to be renovated I have stayed at several Residence Inns before, but after this stay I won’t be using to them anymore and most likely not Marriott either Quite disappointed in the quality and practices

Should be rated a max of 2-3stars, not 4 star rating Rooms are old & dated Needs updating

Air conditioning was too loud and is centrally controlled We could not adjust it as per front desk It woke us up a few times each nightOur room (#232) door didn’t lock unless you pull hard on your way out Door was unlocked after cleaning staff left It took 3 days for someone to come and do a temporary fix The maintenance person said it was a door frame problem

We got a handicap room (did not ask for it) on the third floor with a view of the rooftop of the restaurant complete with all the mechanical doodads The rug was wet, the room was cold and damp and there was a strange gurgling noise that kept me up all night ( like being in an aquarium) I wanted to change rooms, but my husband was exhausted (we arrived really late) and was too tired to change and went straight to bed

When we checked out, the clerk asked how our stay was and I told her She apologized, gave me a cookie and a Starbucks certificate (actually she offered us breakfast, but we did not have time) She said the manager would call me to discuss our stay, but THAT NEVER HAPPENED Considering the room was a couple hundred bucks, you would think the room would have been better It was supposed to be a 4 star hotel, it was not In their reply: “We would have loved to know this when it happened so that we could have rectified the situation” You were told You chose not to contact us (left my phone number and name) Guess you had no intention of any reparation for a sub-par room

Natasha Patten

This hotel is one of a kind! With great attention to details, wonderful service with our room and restaurantMy partner and I booked for two night, but we ended up extending our stay! We enjoyed all of the accommodations, friendly services, and comfort we received Oh and the cookies are soooooo good!!! My partner could not get enough of those! Big shout out to Cece- who made our stay wonderful from checking us in, taking care of any discomfort we may or may not have felt, to being friendly and welcoming! Cece we appreciate you! When ever we went to the counter she ALWAYS greeted us with a smile

When we came down for breakfast or to go explore she greeted us with good morning! Your kindness in meeting our needs made our stay special She truly made our stay memorable! Thank you Cece for the hospitality you’ve shown! 🙂 we would like to also shout out Robert in the Restaurant, it was great being served by you! Your kindness and willingness to meet our needs was truly appreciated!

Shamus

Prior to our arrival to the hotel, we received a phone call from the Front Office Manager, Ramy concerning our room He stated that there was a guest at the hotel that needed our room which was a handicapped accessible room Without hesitation I expressed to him yes! As long as we had a room I was truly grateful

Well because our willingness to switch rooms with the guest, our stay was upgraded as well as we were placed on the highest floor Our overall stay thus far has been truly blessedThe front desk, the restaurant, the hotel stay and the banquet staff have truly exemplified the level of professionalism and standards that the Hilton brand has to offer! I’m truly glad that our church, True Holiness Tabernacle of Prayer, chose to use the Doubletree by Hilton in Sunrise, FL for our Holy Convocations 2022!

This place is nicely located off the main street It is modern and the amenities are great to have The check process was effortless that it seems unreal, the facility is very clean and there is a pleasant fragrance that welcomes you as the automatic door opens

The staffs are hospitable and polite, always greeting and acknowledging you I liked the diversity of the staffs I loved the room, especially the shower Checking out was as easy as checking in, unfortunately all great experience has to come to an end I look forward to my next stay

This had to be the WORST Marriott I have ever had the misfortune to stay atFirst, when I arrived they had no re ord of my reservation even though I showed it to them through my email Then they realized they canceled it and had to give me another room

Of course it was right next door to the elevator and the a/c was stuck on 75 I called the front desk and they sent two repairmen to my room and one said ” oh that’s they way it works If I can’t change it you need to get another room” Why say you can change it but tell me first thats the way it works???The next day I was finally able to get a room in the afternoon with a balcony which is what I requested Unfortunately I made the mistake of leaving 2 of my own pillows along with my necklace on the other room I called the front desk and of course they didn’t find it or have anything turned in The necklace I could see but pillows???My main issue with this courtyard was their lack of empathy and their poor customer service Pretty much everyone I spoke to seemed preoccupied with something else and showed no concern whatsoever I chose this courtyard over my usual one in plantation just to save $20 and it was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT I would suggest you not visit this one until they get better management and start to hold their staff more accountable for how they treat their customers

Overnight stay 5/21/22 Because of long drive got to hotel early 11am , check in wasn’t until 3pm Told clerk would have to sit in lobby until we could get in room

Within 30 minutes Clerk advised room was readyChancey did excellent job in helping us out Overall hotel is under renovations and room was across from two rooms they were renovating Workers did not quit until 6/7pm Heard all the banging, dropping of toolsetc until quitting time Breakfast was very good and breakfast host Hasina was very friendly and professional Not to bad of a stay would probably stay there again

Ms. Shugga Deborah Rosenbloom

Airport shuttle which is great Not sure if the driver speaks English, he never said a word except “thank you” when I tipped him 🙂 Breakfast is good and the morning host was quite pleasant

The bed sleeps well and the room is spacious Only thing bothered me was housekeeping knocking on my door before check-out 10:57, I had already called to let them know I was taking advantage of my membership and checking out late 20 minutes later another knock I strongly suggest leave a tip for housekeeping, they deserve it I appreciated leaving my luggage while the shuttle took me to the car rental It was most kind of him to suggest it, not knowing I would have a walk Of course I tipped himMost likely I will visit this location again

Elizabeth Hoelperl

Beware of the cancellation policy If your flight is canceled, they don’t care You will lose your deposit, one night’s stay, or reward points

Do not book this hotel until the very last minuteWhen our flight was canceled, we needed to change two other hotel nights, a tour, and a rental car All were past the cancellation deadline This is the only place that refused Therefore when I rebook this trip, I will not be staying here and I will happily rebook with all of the others Great housekeeping staff at this hotel—I was here for a week last summer Never again, unless I’m literally in the parking lot ready to check in

Service was 5 stars Our first room was awesome until we found a pile of dirty towels left behind in the bathroomThe staff immediately changed our room and upgraded us to a large suite

After about 40 minutes or so in the new room the staff called to make sure the new room was goodWe really appreciated the quality customer service

Vashti Roberts

The exterior and lobby was nice, however, upon entering the elevator,, it went downhill The room was disgusting The room was musty and the walls were grimy

The ac was dripping on the rug and was noisy The bathroom was dirty- shower tiles appeared to have not been scrubbed in months, the air vent was filthy, and the shower curtain was either speckled with mold or dirt from the vent The smoke alarm was removed from the ceiling and placed on the sink The bathroom wall and bed sheets also had hair on it and the beds were uncomfortable I also spotted a roach near the ac upon departure I am glad we had disinfectant spray and wipes to help a little It was unfortunate that we had to check in late,, making it inconvenient to switch rooms and risking encountering the same issues An awful experience and room for $190+ and we only stayed for ~5 hours I do NOT recommend this hotel

Donna Johnson

The staff was extremely friendly Our room was clean The buffet and common areas were also clean

They let us do a slightly early check in ( about 2pm ) I was having tests at the Cleveland clinic in Weston and all the pet friendly hotels in Weston had jacked up prices and pet fees to what I felt was unreasonable pricing for 3 star hotels Pet fees as high as 150 ! We have a small senior terrier that travels with us and this La Quinta did not charge extra I would stay here again as it was only 15 minutes from the clinic

Our company held a conference with approximately 40 people staying at the hotel including myself Everything was amazing from the reservation process, to checking in and room accommodations We had food catered in for two events and everything was amazing

The staff at this hotel makes planning and holding an event easy I had so many other elements to handle and having Maureen Sallustio, the Director of Sales manage the event was a blessingThe general staff all were accommodating, willing to help in any way, and went above and beyond

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any room This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you won’t regret itEverything was amazing The valet was very fast and efficient, all the staff was very kind and the rooms were clean! The gym was a tad small but I expect it I travel for business so this was everything I neededPhilencia Smith at the front desk treated me with the up most respect and made sure my stay was more than comfortable I had a horrible trip on the way there and after our interaction, I felt so relieved and grateful that she was there to help me9/10!!!

Jennifer Cale

We saved about $20 a night by staying here rather than other nearby hotels NOT worth it! Being cheap didn’t pay offIssues:- A lot of hair on the comforter

– Thin bedding that didn’t keep us warm- Stairs inaccessible from outside- Treadmill and elliptical were old models that haven’t been maintained and didn’t work well- Our outside view was obscured by a wall- Low water pressure- Loud wall AC unit The thermostat inside wasn’t attached to anything- Relatively remote location, so more miles put on the rental car- All staff have masks hanging down below their noses- The fridge is tiny – smaller than a dorm sized one – and the back half had built up ice, so our leftovers froze- Thin walls, loud noise from halls- They do offer breakfast, but only if you pay for each item- Stains on the bedding

Hotel is old Bed was very uncomfortable Lumpy and too soft

Pillows were lumpy and so thin they offered no support AC wasn’t working well Room temperature was just below 80, even hallway was cooler This was one of the worst Hampton Inns I’ve stayed inStaff was friendly but poor room quality couldn’t be overcome I would not recommend

Morgan m

One of the best Hampton Inn I have stayed at Down on business, manager helped me with tweaking my last minute reservations Breakfast was better than quite a few other Hamptons I’ve stayed at

This is not a staff issue This is a management issue Teach your staff how to greet people

Offer the amenities you purport to offer Add more than four seats at the pool Quit trying to make money by saving on cleaning staff Those are all management decisions Don’t blame your staff if you don’t empower them Seems like a big case of cheap and micro managing

Joshua Cartlidge

Rooms were basic Had a stove but didn’t offer or have an pans/cups/anything in the room or have any availablePlaces were close by which is good

Most people I saw working there and spoke too acted like they didn’t want to be there

lili031202

Families be aware, safety is a concern here For weeks, a group of men stayed here and everyday they drink alcohol and leave beer cans and bottles everywhere around and in the property Some of these men verbally harassed me while they were drunk and my partner reported it to the hotel staff

Nothing got done, the men still get drunk in the parking lot or pool, leave their alcoholic drinks behind, and harass women If the hotel cared about its guests and/or reputation, it would have kicked these people out by now There are families with children that come here, these types of guests should not be permitted

We have been here for three days so far and leaving tomorrow We have enjoyed staying here immensely Our room was so clean and we let housekeeping clean it each day

I like the fact you smell bleach in the bathroom It lets you know they actually clean it The staff here are always happy to help you except the maids They really aren’t socialable but that wasn’t anything to complain about The breakfast is very nice and very cleangood food as well This place went above and beyond my expectations We were in room 403

Savannah Sussman

I can’t give this hotel 5 stars for 2 reasons1) The water pressure in the showers 🚿 is far to weak2) There is no microwave in the rooms

I stay in same hotels, for weeks at a time, and a microwave is a definite plusThe staff in this hotel is EXEMPLARY!From the front desk to housekeeping to the person arranging 🥞 the breakfast 🥐 buffet, everyone is friendly, efficient and pleasantI’d rather drive the 30 miles to my location, than stay in a closer hotel😌

Leader1- LARRIO A. WALDEN (Captain)

Nice Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast buffet

all you can eat But your car will get very dusty from all the construction going on next door And tree leafs falling on the windshield Otherwise, I like this property, will stay again and I do recommend this Holiday Inn Express & Suites However, they must stay steadfast, continuously striding in all categories to earn 5 Stars hotelNow, Breakfast dinning I rate 5 🌟 for cleanliness, food quality and quantity, temperature of the food and the good helpful attendant on duty therewho’s name is Trevor Very helpful and clean man

I stayed here for the first time with my family including my infant son I was very impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel room, lobby, dining area, and surrounding areas The breakfast is complimentary and there are a lot of great choices

Also the staff was very helpful and very sweet I want to especially recognize Sarah who very kindly allowed my mom and I back into our room after checkout so we could wash up my baby who was fussing and crying We were all so grateful for her compassion and understanding I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area!

The stay part was great Clean room comfortable beds and a very good breakfast Issue was paying

We set it up on our credit card but wanted to pay on our debit So they split it saying our debit was declinedwhich we have plenty of money So now after a long drive home we have to figure this out They said they called this morning before check out but failed to leave a voice-mail Will be back but need better communication The lady that check us in and the lady on later nights were super nice

Brittany

I stay at a lot of Hamptons They’re all different quality wise As far as this hotel quality wise is concerned, it is fine

No issues, but nothing exceeding expectationsMy air conditioner didn’t work and a part needed to be ordered They had no other available rooms and I had a pretty restless night I’m giving 5 stars because the lovely lady working the desk that night automatically offered to take some money off the total I don’t tend to push for that because I understand things pop up they aren’t expecting, so was pleasantly surprised However, the next day they completely waived my entire stay!! I’ve never had that happened What amazing customer service! Props to the service/management team at this location Really impressed and thank you!

Beautiful hotel!Exceptional breakfastHere is why I gave one star…Very poor customer service and communication in regards to housekeeping protocols

My husband and I stated the concerns to the front desk and there was no accomdation to our check out besides an apologyThe temperature in the room was not set to what was requested during bookingHousekeeping protocols were not communicated verbally or in an email during bookingWe were not made aware about a 24 hour request for housekeeping They presented us with a paper at check out… which in my opinion should be emailed or posted in the ACTUAL ROOM I have been to several other hotels during the pandemic and they have it posted in the room or communicated it to us during check in I think this is something that should be on the door or they have some type of communication to the guests to request the cleaning No where in this hotel room did I see a posting I did see a sign in the bathroom that if you left your towels on the floor they would be replace… so I assumed that housekeeping was a regular routine in this placeHow can someone place a request for a 24 hour housekeeping the room when we didn’t even check in 24 hours within when the clean up was needed????I was in town came to this hotel for a surgery I was having and returned to a hotel room that was not cleaned When I called the front desk there was music from the lounge blasting and the employee could barely hear me All she did was send two towelsI needed to be in a clean environment and my health was at riskUnfortunately I will not be recommending this place to my family and friends I am highly unsatisfied I did not get my moneys worth

Gorgeous new modern property at Sawgrass Mills The design is sleek with beautiful finishes Check-in was very swift and polite

Room is nicely appointed The thermostat is a bit challenging – the room was 81 when we arrived but finally figured how to put it on Called maintenance and a very friendly gentleman arrived immediately to help Problem is the thermostat turns back off overnight so the room warmed again Rooftop bar is great with nice views and fun, calm vibe Overall construction is kinda cheap and you can hear a lot of noises on the floor Will definitely stay again!

I loved the location Staff was very nice and eager to assist with whatever you needed Exactly what you would expect from a Marriott property I will stay there again and hopefully Plantation Walk will be open Very nice!

I have stayed over 1,000 nights at a Marriott branded Hotel This Hotel is significantly below average compared to other Sheratons I stayed atLet me first start with a positives

The guy in the club lounge was super curious, responsive and wanted to help Excellent service mire commonly found in Asia or Latin America that the United States The lobby gets lots of natural light and it appears was remodeled not too long ago It’s got your standard breakfast area, a little bar and some conference rooms There’s a fountain outside and there’s plenty of parkingThe reason why I’m getting this two stars is because the rooms are just very old and kind of dirty For example, there is scum in mildew all over the bathroom Another example of the coffee table was scratched up Except for the mattress, it felt more like a old courtyard Marriott than a Sheraton The room is large as you would expect in a suite but again in bad need of updating The drapery seem like it came from the 1990s The shampoo and soap they give you is from big bottles of fixed to the shower wall There’s some hygiene risk there given I’m sure they don’t replace the whole bottle after every guestI have included photos so you can judge for yourselfThe AC unit was loud and didn’t respond to the thermostat very well I think I might have caught a head cold or something after two nights

Maggie Lou

Did a weekend staycation, this hotel is located in the heart of the upcoming area of Plantation Walk For that reason, make sure you get a parking pass because they do ticket cars There is security patrolling the area on a cart

Just a reminder parking isn’t free The staff were really nice and helpful The Sheraton Suites appears to be renovated from the outside and lobby area There are places were upgrades can occur such as the pool and hot tub area The room was nice but it has it quirks like turning the switch down to turn on the light, the noise the sink makes, the struggle opening the closet, and the movement of the refrigerator when you opened it They have a dining area where they serve breakfast, Starbucks, and a small bar Aside for a sign saying they have a breakfast buffet, if you don’t inquire about its most hush-hush There were not many people eating meals when I pass by in the morning or evening If there was a menu available in the room or during check-in, I’m sure they would have more people The hotel was reasonably priced but certain days the price fluctuates tremendously especially weekends and holidays

I’ve stayed here for three nights, and while I had no major *issues* with my room, I did have a few concerns about other things:- As many others have said, there are ongoing renovations While that did not affect areas such as the functionality of the elevator and breakfast, sometimes I had to maneuver around ladders during the day- We lost electricity for a couple of hours on day 1 of our trip

Water was extremely low-pressured and, at times, non existent in the middle of showers- DO NOT purchase any items from their little “marketplace” next to the front desk I made the mistake of picking up a water and soda the first night, not knowing that there was a vending machine at the end of the first floor (I honestly didn’t think there were any due to the renovations The whole right side of the hotel seemed inhabitable/unused) One soda/water from their marketplace was $300 each Same items from the vending machines are $150 each Not impressed- ice machine works Located on floors 1, 3, and 5 with vending machines- the water fountains had low water pressure Took forever to fill up my container- room fixings and furniture are old and outdated, but functional- had to wait a couple of seconds for water to for out of the faucet in the kitchenette- I asked to be placed in a very quiet area but had to contend with loud guests and service ladiesOutside of these qualms, my stay was uneventful I was a bit bummed the gym was not open Lining the streets leading up to the hotel are cute little stores and shops There’s a nice-looking fountain out front The front desk managers were friendly and helpful (although I would’ve appreciated a heads up about the prices lol) Not a bad stay but for $200+ a night, it should’ve been way better

Check to see if the hotel is still under exterior renovations As of now the facade is still in the demo phase and it looks like a few months till completion It is loud, dirty and in the wrong order as the rooms should of been renovated first

The rooms are smelly with very dirty carpets Don’t be afraid to change rooms because it could be a bit better My stay was decent The beds are comfortable I did see a couple of bugs in the room, just saying This hotel is not exemplary of Weston which is a beautiful upper class town

jason hoegle

The hotel is under construction as of 3/4/22It’s loud, dusty and the rooms are ready for a renovationWe had to yell at the desk to get checked in because of the noise

A warning on the website may or may not have changed our minds about staying hereIt’s cheap and the room was spaciousWould stay again when they are finished as it is close to the Cleveland clinic and my grandpa is always there getting something fixedI especially loved the colored paper directions to the breakfast area that were taped to the construction walls that will be leading us to the mystery breakfast that will be revealed in the morning! Not terrible 22 stars Which I will update after breakfast

Beautiful property with friendly people I had a great room in a nice building with a lovely view of the top of palm trees My favorite thing was being able to sit out in the balcony in the morning drinking coffee and in the evenings with a glass of iced tea

The weather in early May was still perfect low 80s with lower humidity Only complaint is they need to trim back some of the overhanging tree limbs in the parking lot so tree sap does not stain your car

Laura Cortinas Navarro

The rooms were absolutely up to our standards very clean The mattresses were comfortable Enough for a family of 5 in both A and B suites

We had enough supplies for cooking The balcony was nice The pool was fantastic, big, and always clean 👌A plus in that area The staff was always cleaning in our building Heron 1 They were always friendly Check in was smooth The sales pitch my parents always feel pressured The pitch went well 👏 great job team

I was here for two nights and I found the room to be clean and the staff to be very accommodating My only issue is my room was near the highway which sometimes people with out mufflers would go by during the evening This is not the hotels fault and I am sure I could have asked for a different room and they would have done this

The room has a full refrigerator, stove and microwave Wifi worked great and I would stay here again

Ivy 2343

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite It’s bigger than most but a bit rundown and stained It’s on a busy street so it is not as quiet as I would have liked

The breakfast was fine with eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt etc coffee is at the front desk instead of with the breakfast for some reason The pool was very tiny and we decided not to go as 2 guests in there already made it too crowded I would say I’d pass next time Keeping it real as always

Lawrence Jones

Don’t stay here The room was not new and clean as it appeared on the picture Actually looked nothing like the pictures, well a dirty run down version

It stated that it was a smoke free room and that room smelled like a chain smoker stayed there We left right away and they still charged us a 1 night stay and we were literally in that room for 2 mins If your a chain smoker and don’t mind a nasty room then this place is for you

Great location and quiet surrounding environment near restaurants and shopping centers The staff is polite and very helpful whenever you need assistanceThe hotel room was spacious with the requested roll-in shower

It was decent with a small refrigerator but you have to ask for them to bring a complimentary microwave to your room The cleanliness was alright Don’t worry about having any bugs The bed isn’t very comfortable but satisfy for somebody not staying long The breakfast is not complimentaryOverall, I would come again if I stayed in Weston but definitely not as a first choice

David Jiang

Staff was friendly and the room was as expected and similar to other Courtyards The area is fairly quite (a little bit of ambient highway noise but nothing out of the ordinary) Location was convenient for us, specifically, but there’s not a lot around the area other, though the restaurants nearby within walking distance are pretty decent – nice not having to drive every time we went for lunch or dinner

Our breakfast was included in our rate and it was pretty good, we were able to order off of the cafe menu, better than expected and better than the typical “continental” breakfasts at other chains

Sylvia Dominguez

This was such a great experience We actually had a small get together in the downstairs area We met Denise as part of the wonderful staff at this Marriott

She offered her services and elevated our little get together She helped set up our platters and actually brought glassware for our wines She was extremely attentive She was so helpful and pleasant Thank you Denise you were a lifesaver I will also say that the water pressure was fantastic Did I say I brought my dog with me and he also enjoyed the stay Thank you Marriott for exceptional service
