After renting we bought a park model 3 years ago We enjoy Sunflower as our “winter home” and LOVE the great amenities they offer My husband is a cyclist and very much enjoys riding with a group of other cyclists several times a week

We both enjoy the Cactus Grill and live music during the week The staff is always helpful and we love the level of cleanliness the resort maintains Lots to do and a great place to retire!

Joe Hiner

We bought our park model here 3 years ago after first staying in an RV spot It is a decision we have never regretted!! We love the amenities! (especially the Cactus Bar and Grill and their AMAZING staff!) my husband enjoys the card room and the men’s golf groups We have tried many things that are offered here and still haven’t tried it all! The bands on the weeknights are another great thing! Highly recommend this RV Resort! Jennifer Hiner

I went to go tovan estimate for my business at a residence there I arrived at the security guard hut and I was at least 10 cars deep if nor more The line never moved in 10 minutes

That would have made it at least 30 mi minutes until I could get through the gate I don’t have that kind of time I had to call my customer and reschedule the estimate Ridiculous

Astounding!! I am completely floored by this stand alone location The service, genuine cheerfulness and concern we received during our stay have captivated us and brought each of us to say – there is something special here! Every staff member we have encountered from Morgan at the front desk to Tamara & Deb and the sweet ladies in the kitchen have a smile on their face, made us feel so welcome and gone out of their way to make sure we are comfortable Three Cheers to this Residence & the stand alone culture of care they have created to rival the greats of hospitality

Jessica Sapia

Super clean hotel with amazing service They serve hot breakfast daily and it’s delicious Lots of options and they change what’s served daily so you don’t get bored of the same thing

Two bedroom suites have a full kitchen including a dishwasher! Outdoor area has a nice size, clean pool and a beautiful bbq grill area with a fire pit There is also a gym and a laundry room They are pet friendly as well but they do a good job of keeping everything clean Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will be back

Karl Bean

What a great experience The rooms were big (fit my family of 7 in the 2 room suite) The breakfast was great every day, big portions and hot food and fresh fruit options

The staff was super friendly and helpful Parking was close and easy The pool was a little small but uncrowded and very cleanMy only complaint is not for us: Please fix the air conditioner in the laundry room for those hardworking ladies!! They laughed and didn’t complain but we could feel the warm air when we walked by the laundry

good: great breakfast selection of waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, yogurt, breads & pastries, juicescheck-in was fast and easy room was spacious and modernized

mini-fridge and microwave were great to have in roombad: did not get housekeeping 2nd day, had to ask if someone was still coming second time at 5pm the following day and then someone finally did show up to clean On two different occasions room keys stopped working and we had to go to desk to have them redone Neighbors were extremely loud (not that this was the hotels fault necessarily, but definitely made the stay less enjoyable) Mattress was way too soft and uncomfortable Key entrance to side door was broken so door was just propped open with a rock for anyone to come and go – did not feel safeneutral – indoor pool was clean, but being indoors made it very loud as the sound echoed a lot and chlorine burned the eyes sitting in there – but at the same time it was nice to not be sitting out in the sun

Becky Aalgaard

Will never stay or put my guest here again The room was dirty and was brought to staffs attention When my guest return their room had not been cleaned

When I brought this to management they said someone would call me back A manager said I can offer you 2500 points I said I will need stay here again they said they would have upper management call me, that wa a month ago I’ve called 3 more times and nobody is ever available to address my concern I’m a travel and can say I will never stay at this comfort inn in Surprise Arizona not put any of my clients or guest there ever again Very unhappy customer 😡

Chris Ali

$124 for a room on third floor overlooking the rat infested roof AC units are loud and make knocking noise The 3rd floor hallway has no air circulation and smells like dog urine

The pool is very unkept and has clumps of hair floating at bottom The hairdryer in the room started smoking immediately after turning on The carpets are old and very outdated/stainedSAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND TIME I would give this place a 2/10 YUCK!I don’t come from upper class or terribly rich lifestyle but I do know that this place isn’t nicely kept

There’s a lot to like about this place Super clean Friendly

The pool is amazing Lemon and orange and palm trees at every spot For being in the city there was a surprising amount of wildlife around 2 dog parks and plenty of spots for doggie bags Gated, and security takes their job seriously We didn’t have to worry about bikes getting stolen Plenty of activities and social life if that’s your thing Only drawback are the planes Very loud and sometimes they fly in as late as 11pm If you can tune them out then you’ll be fine

Robert Poggensee

When you drive through this place, it looks very nice But once you check in and get settled, you have to travel quite a ways for anything you need The bar and grill at the golf course was only open one day a week for 2 hours at lunch time

The main pool was not heated for over a month and a half The computer room was closed they said because of COVID Come to find out it was because they did not have a monitor, another lieIf you want to play any of the sports like pickle ball, lawn bowling, shuffle board, it is an additional charge These charges are not mentioned in the welcome packet when you arriveWe left a month early and decided to go to a different resort in Mesa that does not charge you for music at the pool and the pool is always well maintained I would not waste your money There are much better resorts available

Elaine Taber

Where and when were these pictures taken???We only have a restaurant that is open limited days and limited hours!!!!Never have I seen any of the pictures of dishes served No service You have to order at bar

The pool is down 60% if the time Older park models when coming into the entrance are so old and run down, looks like trailer trash

Wow, we’re do I start! Have never been to a hotel with such a wide group of staff that are all so positive happy and welcoming!! I just happen to come during the bulldog show and loved how dog friendly the whole place is!! Breakfast was a hit ! We ended up extending our stay for another week and driving an extra 45min from our event we were attending just because of our nice experience I definitely recommend, especially if your looking for a dog friendly location I will definitely be looking forward to another stay in the future!

Stephanie Schupbach

We stayed 5 nights, over all we were satisfied The breakfast was very, very good! The staff was friendly and helpfulThe Mattresses ( we had a suite) were hard, which was disappointing- maybe the hotel should consider an upgrade

The hotel could also use a fresh “set ” of towels We had plenty, but they are showing their wear

The hotel itself felt run down and a bit unsafe As for my room- there was a plastic bag covering something on the ceiling, 2 stains on the rug (one red one right next to the bed??) a broken picture frame, the tub was very stained/dirty, the shower head didn’t really work, light switches didn’t work, and there was no room number marking my room Honestly if I didn’t get in so late I wouldn’t have stayed here and if I had another night to stay I definitely would have switched hotels

The staff was very nice though

Jessica Vasquez

When we checked in I immediately noticed all the hair in the restroom part of the door knob is lose because it’s missing the only 2 screws it’s suppose to have the floor and the walls are dirty! We went and bought an air mattress because when we unfolded the sofa bed their were chicken nuggets in their they had no sheets or pillows for it The king bed sheets had hair and are pretty worn out already! When we went down stairs to ask for some other ones the only person that is working said he didn’t have any since they are short staff and he is the only employee currently working If I could give zero stars I would!

Julian G.

Honestly, the rating of 2 stars is actually too much But the hotel is trying to do some renovation

Gym: Worst gym I have seen so far 2 weights treadmill and stepper defectBreakfast: Not good at all No Not sustainable with plastic cutlery and platesPool: Ok Water Could be cleanerAC: Loud and not really effectiveRooms: partly renovated, shower looks good Very loud facing to the highwayCannot recommend

Matthew Pritchard

First off, A++ to the staff It was so refreshing to visit a hotel and have a staff as friendly and helpful as EVERYONE was Always greeting me as I passed, asking how my stay is, just great customer service that should be the norm, but we all know it isn’t

The room was huge, clean, and updated The continental breakfast was pretty good compared to many other hotels ive been to The pool and it’s surrounding area were clean and beautiful as well I also walked from the hotel to the Gila River Arena for a Pearl Jam concert and it wasn’t a bad walk at all Highly recommend this hotel

Aethese

The room I stayed in (big enough for 5 people) was very big and nice for only $170 not including tax! Very good value The only bad parts were the cleanliness of the beds (see attached pictures) They were not very clean but pushing the pillows off to the side and using my own pillow and blanket fixed my issue

That’s my only problem with the place The location is amazing! It’s near many great places The pool is almost perfect! A beautiful place to relax with a hot tub too My only problem is the max depth is 5ft, but I could live with that Besides the cleanliness of the bed, my stay there was amazing!

These suites are spectacular! loved how everything looked from the lobby to the rooms, sheets, curtains, furniture, carpet! walking into our room i felt comfortable putting my stuff on the ground the room was so nice, everything was so well maintained, very clean and the staff members were all so very kind at times i would be leaving my room and saw staff cleaning the rooms and they’d be steaming the carpet and cleaning the room from top to bottom, very pleased and felt comfortable staying there knowing that they complied and deep cleaned the rooms

i honestly have nothing but good things to say about these suites everything to malls and restaurants were nearby so many options booking again come February

Senthil

Stayed at numerous other Spring Hill hotels, however this one was the least enjoyable Rooms are cramped and small, but the price is high The morning meal was great

The front desk personnel were really pleasant and helpful There are plenty of dining options and supermarkets in the area Location and quality of service are the primary factors in the awarding of stars

Francis Burghart

I would NOT recommend this property and I say this as a 110-130 hotel nights/year at Marriott exclusivelyWalked into my suite and I had to install the AC filters (because they were left on the bed) but the system was off and the window was wide open so the room was crazy hotFurther, the refrigerator was unplugged and left wide open so super warm, and there was linen left on the pullout from the previous guest

Price is super cheap for Phoenix but……you get what you pay for At least the bed is comfy!

Came with and stayed with a long time friends this trip Great to know the property has their renovation coming up towards the end of the year Staff are attentive, helpful, professional and do a wonderful job

No other hotel I have been to can quite compare to the high quality of service from the staff at this property The rooms are clean and spacious, despite being a little dated Rooms show their age but have held up well They are comfortable and roomy Rooms and amenities here beat the majority in the area Breakfast options could be better but Marriott make the choices based on their research I heard that this location is bringing back scrambled eggs and sausage Good call! Keep up the good work Employees here clearly put in 110% Always on their feet during the day Top Stuff, thanks

Donna Mae Hurst

If you stay near the pool, it is very noisy But after 2200 it gets quiet Very clean rooms and comfortable

Bring your own food and you can cook in the room It has a full size refrigerator, 2 burner cooktop, dishwasher and microwave Some rooms have a bedroom, living room and Kitchen Other rooms are studios Close to fast food restaurants and Target

Beef And Broccoli Life

This location is a bit more run down and located near other low end hotels We always felt safe and they gave us the larger suite upgrade since we are tiered Marriott members There are a few restaurants in walking distance and it’s maybe a 5 min walk to the Ballpark

No charge for parking which is a nice change from about every other Marriott we’re stayed it

This a very nice resort… love the lagoon pool and tranquil atmosphere The only down part is that they don’t have a restaurant or live bar to hang out… there are great outing places close by though, but sometimes one just want to stay in… I also love the fact that they have full kitchens, it comes handy if we want to spend more than three days over… however, having a restauran option would be a good idea My kids love it here because of the pool and some entertainment they offer…but we ended up not getting any extra packages because we’re not planning to travel out of the country any sooner

Ashley Maruca

The room was a one bedroom suite with a kitchen We had a party of 4 and there is a pull put couch bed Pool was great and the drinks even more great! Food truck had pretty good food and fair prices

My only complaint is the cleanliness of the room You could tell the shower was not cleaned so I cleaned it myself When we moved the chair in the livingroom we found a dirty sock and sunflower seeds I don’t think a sweeper was ran either and if you walk barefoot, be prepared for dirty feet There wasn’t a lot to do around the resort so we traveled a lot You definitely need a rental car

Scott Herrington

From the time we entered to the time we left( 2 days ) We were greeted with smiles, not only registration but everyone smiled and waved The master suite we got was beautiful! Sunken tub, living room and a huge wrap around bathroom

The grounds were beautiful The pool is huge with a water slide, cabanas, music I will definitely come back for another get away

Very disappointed with noise of flushing toilet in next room and noise from road outside Lobby was under construction and elevator shook Staff looked and acted as if they were over worked and doing us a favor by checking us in

I love Holiday inn express and after a while decided to leave in the middle of the night And I paid $200 for this expensive experience

Cat Fick

Stayed over the holiday by accident Received complimentary upgrade to a suite which made the extended stay nice Didn’t feel like we were on top of each other

Located in the middle of everything, nothing was far away!! Guest laundry conveniently located and priced decent, 2 of each machine Front desk staff and housekeeping were very accommodating Would recommend this hotel over and over

Judy Pearl

One if the few Holiday Inns that doesn’t advertise “enhanced cleaning” or offer a free breakfast There is good reason for that There was a pod left in the Keurig machine, food in the microwave, soap scum caked on the shower soap dispenser and hair in the sink

Only 1 employee wore a mask No decaffeinated coffee available in my room or down in the lobby No food available to take and go No apologies offered for any of these issues Interstate noise allowed for very little sleep Oh, this was also the most expensive room of 6 nights on the road Keep driving!!!!!

Outstanding experience staying at this hotel Rose was so professional and courteous during check-in and remembered us throughout our entire stay This place is very fortunate to have her on board

The entire property was clean and all of the staff was amazing The breakfast each morning was outstanding and there was always coffee brewing for guests to enjoy I will definitely stay here again and if you are ever in the area, I recommend you do the same

germanaviator

I really wanted to give this hotel five stars All staff were exceptional The hotel was nice and clean, the beds comfortable the breakfast much better than expected

But, and it’s a big but, we had a terrible night The A/C makes so much noise It knows only full blast or off When it cycled on we woke up Every single time The last two hours of the night we just turned it off but it gets warm quickly If it had more modern, quiet A/C this would be a perfect hotel for what it is But none of that counts if I cannot get a good night’s sleep

J Torres

We had a last minute two night stay here and overall the rooms were nice and the staff at night were friendly If you are a light sleeper keep in mind the ac in the rooms are extremely loud The main issue we had is that housekeeping will absolutely let themselves in despite having the do not disturb sign on the door

It’s possible this goes unnoticed by most guests because most people don’t spend the entire day in the room In our case, we were there to relax before a long drive home so I stayed in the room all day Had the extra security latch not been closed, the housekeeper would have walked right in on me changing and my son napping We travel a lot and this has not been our experience in any other hotel So don’t expect the door signs to keep people out of your room The front desk tells you that this is called a wellness check Never heard of that anywhere else and it is certainly an unwelcome intrusionCheck out is at eleven Expect your key cards to stop working about fifteen to twenty minutes before then, you know, during the time you are probably moving your suitcases out of the room If it takes more than one trip then expect to get locked out of your room Also, the housekeeper will literally bang on the door at exactly 11 to make sure you are leaving I was standing at the door helping my son put on his backpack when this happened We are very good at leaving on time, but overall, the feeling is not welcomingI did see previous reviews mention baseball teams staying there and it unfortunately was our experience as well Loud teenagers roaming the halls is not greatThey are upfront about having a carpet beetle problem by putting signs in the room I did kill about four in the bathroom so I will be washing everything we traveled with before bringing it into my house Ultimately, I think they could do much better

Our stay was wonderful! From the valet parking to all the comforts of our room The room was very clean, and accommodating We weren’t expecting the dry air to be so harsh on us, but the front desk was so nice and provided water bottles when needed

Everyone we encountered here was super friendly Tracy at the front desk always had the best customer service! The only complaint I had, was the elevator sound we heard from our room (Our room was right next to the elevator) but it didn’t ruin our stay! I will definitely book here again whenever we are back in this area

Shindale Seale

This hotel is truly a gem! Upon entering, I was greeted by a welcoming staff (at 11:30 PM), who swiftly checked me and my party in and made sure we were aware of all the amenities afforded usWhen we got to our rooms, the decor blew us away! Additionally, the rooms were clean and spacious, above and beyond what we needed for a turnaround business tripParking was easy and check out was a super cinch

I will definitely stay here again when doing business in the area

Lillian Benitez

My husband and I stayed here for almost a week for my husbands conference The property is beautiful! The room was nice and comfortable but my absolute favorite part of our stay was our bartender, Carla After meeting us ONCE, she remembered our names and what we were drinking

We were talking amongst our colleagues about how we were so impressed by her demeanor and positive attitude no matter how busy she was We kept that bar busy for sure! We always made sure to sit on her side of the bar for excellent service and a smile She definitely needs to be in a position that trains any future staff We will be back for sure!

Great experience Very clean and comfy Beds were comfortable

Little pillows though, not the big ones like at other hotels I have stayed at Scent throughout the hotel was pleasant Some hotels the smell wasn’t nice Breakfast at 6:30 was good Food taste good and is fresh I would recommend them to anyone A little pricey but hey you get what you pay for If a hotel is less than $100 a night it’ll prolly be a budget place I would stay here again I paid $147 a night with a corporate discount so roughly after taxes it will be about $169 Definitely worth it and by major highway the 101

The staff was great and the room was clean although I did find a piece of an acrylic nail next to the bed The pool was out of order when we arrived If all of the amenities I paid for are not available, I should receive a discount

The day we checked out, the pool was open but the water was cloudy/dirty The TV was not only disappointingly small, it was also broken On our second day, we left to run an errand and when we returned, our room keys didnt work Overall it was not worth the amount of money I spent I do not recommend

I spent a few nights here and was bit by bed bugs Clearly bed bugs and had a video and everything Nobody even wanted to look at it

I asked for a refund and was told they needed to bring someone in to investigate, which would be days after I complained That means they could easily clean the room in the time it would take I am completely bit up, itchy, and burning on my leg Not one person said they were sorry and not one refund was offered The manager on duty couldn’t care less I will never stay at this chain again

Amenities were a fair value I guess as the whole area seems a bit pricey Anthony at checkin was amazing Exceedingly kind, sweet & thoughtful

Decor is up to date throughout and our room was nicely done as well Scrambled eggs were perfect in the am So many places have them too wet or too minced up Very nice pool area and a large lovely patio/courtyard to chill within Their sidewalk connects to a wonderful walking trail that I highly recommend Safe, clean, adorable & we got 2 miles in in 30 minutes!

Love this place It is but one mile from my home, yet I stay here yearly It is spacious, clean, and well designed

The pond and fountain are beautiful The front desk is quick to respondI have two gripes The hallway seems musty, as though it is has no air conditioning Not a good first impressionThe bed is a bit hard for my taste, but not lumpy I prefer a pillow topParking is excellent

We stayed at this hotel last week, during our family vacation At first, the hotel didn’t have a room that could accommodate my shower chair, because I’m disabled However, the staff were so polite, professional and courteous

It took them a day, but they were finally able to put me in a room that accommodated my needs Would definitely recommend this priory to anyone

This was a great hotel The staff was pleasant to interact with, especially Sonora from the cleaning staff and another lady with dark hair working the day before her The gentleman who checked us in (possibly a manager) was also wonderfully professional and kind

We would have liked to see more options added to the breakfast buffet, and the pictures of the room online looked much bigger than it actually was in person, but overall we were very pleased with our stay

We stayed long term in this hotel We loved the location of the hotel, walking distance to the outlet shops, Westgate entertainment center and StateFarm stadium Awesome customer service, front desk staff was always ready to help and made sure that we were always satisfied

I loved the fact that they gave free water bottles, what a good gesture! Breakfast was good with lot of choices Rooms were big and spacious with very nice sunset views (not for rooms facing swimming pool) We would anytime go back to stay at this hotel

Very clean place! I really appreciated the wide variety for their breakfast and it was not the same thing every morning which was nice We came in July (116 degree weather) and the pool felt like 90 degrees, so it wasn’t very helpful for a cool down, but my kids liked it either way The room itself looked spotless

Me being a germaphobe nurse, I brought my own Clorox wipes to wipe down everything, including the floors and the wipes were black afterwards We definitely are staying here again! Very decent on the price and location (right by football stadium)

It is a much better atmosphere in the summer for couples/ families Winter season seems a tad, too boring I suggest this place for couples specifically that want a relaxing, fun environment with or without golf

Food is great in the main lodge! The breakfast is a must! The steakhouse has a seasonal but exciting menu I still preferred the summer offeringsLive music and atmosphere are great Overall, I am happy with my stays and more I will plan in the future!

I cannot say how beautiful and perfect the Wigwam was for our wedding From the setting to the food, this team did an outstanding job taking care of our group As a February wedding with most guests coming from the Midwest, this resort was exactly what we hoped for

We were looking for a venue where friends and family would be gathering around and enjoying perfect weather, good food, golf, and get to experience the essence of Arizona The Wigwam is the most hidden gem in this state The great rates for hotel rooms, spa, golf, and food our guests had an amazing weekend We highly recommend this property and we look forward to having our anniversaries at the Wigwam each year

Michelle Lynn Kittredge

Dining or having an event here is probably one of the most romantic and well organized establishments I’ve ever been to and have the pleasure to work for The staff for courteous well-mannered and well-dressed definitely a place to impress the girl of your dreams or the man in your future or for the perfect couple to get away The food is divine and the place is so well kept

Eduardo the event coordinator and manager is a kind and fair man He will ensure that your event goes smoothly and it’s very well planned and that you are given all that you need on your special day Thank you wigwam for bringing your establishment to Arizona for all of us to enjoy
