I enjoyed my stay at this hotel Despite what the other reviews say about the customer service, it is actually good The rooms are nice and clean and decently roomy

The gym is quite nice, there are dumbbells and one cable machine The breakfast I enjoyed quite a bit You can cook to order food I enjoyed the scrambled eggs, omelette, and French toast Overall the hotel is new and pretty good However, there’s a reason it’s not 5 stars The wifi is annoying to get working and it kept disconnecting over and over until it finally worked For some reason, when I called room service, my call was not picked up even though I called several times There is also no complementary breakfast Overall, would recommend

Dan Kochenderfer

Average for a Hilton The staff was kind enough, but very slow in response We had 5 people in our room, and needed extra towels

It took calling the desk 3 times before the towels showed up Room was spacious Breakfast wasn’t great Elevator was sketchy as hell We were only staying 1 night before heading to the airport, so it was adequate for our needs

Lazuli dispute

Super clean and pretty but it’s just very LOUD You can hear EVERYTHING going on in the hallways It felt as if the people talking out at the halls were right at our door

The lady’s who clean are very loud and I’m not sure if it’s employees or others staying at the hotel but my fiancé and I heard bumps and bangs ALL night Couldn’t get any sleep for the two nights we were here Worst part was that they put us on the 3rd floor right next to the elevator and a room everyone goes to I think for supplies if you want a quiet and not so cramped hotel I suggest a more quiet area

The customer service at this hotel is very poor I am a Marriott Ambassador and I use Marriott hotels for business and personal travel I booked a room for my employees and they were not allowed to stay at this hotel

On several occasions I book hotels and sign a document allow them to use my credit card for all charges and never had a problem My employees were treated very poorly and told they could not stay there I attempt to discuss with the manager over the phone and was told no they would not help I sent them to a Hampton inn (Hilton Brand ) and they were welcomed and taken care of Management here needs retraining on hospitality!

Brittany T

I stayed at the Marriott a couple weeks ago and paid $25 a day for valet parking, which was a spot in the metropolis parking garage My car got broken into and my airbags were stolen Both Marriott & Metropolis refused to pay for the damage even though it was kept in their parking garage

Nobody would own up to it and kept passing the buck This is SUPPOSED to be a secure garage since it has cameras and only residents have assess What am I paying for if my car isn’t even safe? Be aware and do not stay here I’ve stayed at several Marriott’s and have never had an issue until here

tasha haylock

The guy at the front counter very nice, however according to him he was the only on duty that night Our room AC was set on fan and I could not adjust/change the settings (room never got cold), the TV would NOT come on at all, we unplugged it and try a different outlet and it never came on, they did NOT have toiletries as they were completely out (front desk guy stated) and we was never offered to change rooms Will definitely NOT be staying there again

Charissa

No hot water in shower or sink, called front desk twice- no answer- went down to front desk no customers around Front desk lady was unhelpful, unfriendly and acknowledged they knew that there are numerous rooms that the hot water doesn’t work Refused to offer us any compensation for our troubles, wouldn’t switch rooms when I requested it, stating, “ I don’t know what other rooms don’t have hot water…” she stated that other customers are having hot water issues as well

So they are aware, yet, not offering compensation for their problems Hotel old and dated, photos look better than in person, very loud room…next to freeway and loud elevator, mold in shower on ceiling and walls Dark, poorly lit hallways and rooms need attention and updating Outdoor pool is freezing cold Workout room is lacking, only one machine functioned (when I tried all four)Front Staff unwelcoming and unfriendly Didn’t welcome me or acknowledge me as a reward points member- I had to ask at check out if I was given my points Not the greatest area, very far away from the airport & no hotel shuttle as advertised on their website For the price we paid, very poor value Would NOT recommend staying here Worst Holiday Inn property we’ve ever stayed at, we are frequent travelers I choose Holiday Inn properties for their reputation, this hotel doesn’t fit the Holiday Inn standards Find someplace else

shannon Conway

This hotel service is terrible Do not recommend staying here You should not put your diamond elite customers in the rooms that have no hot water

Then tell them oh sorry it’s something we can note, but there is nothing we can do Then when you ask for a hair dryer 3 times and you say ok no problem and it never comes I don’t usually post bad reviews but I do expect a hotel to make traveling for work suck less, not more I don’t think that’s asking too much

Valerie Bowers

Loved the hotel Great for a weekend get a way close to home for me! Very clean and friendly Only downside was indoor bar was closed

So if you wanted to have food or a drink you have to go to the restaurants that were very packed So that was the only downside it wasn’t disclosed when booking that bar area isn’t open Otherwise it was really nice Quiet, clean, air works very well, no bad or musty odors, and staff was really nice Definitely recommend!

Florencia Florentin

I stayed it only one night at the Towneplace Suites by Marriott in west Kendall and I really really love it The room it is super comfortable and roomy and I can say that whoever build this places though about everything use every corner to the max and it’s not crowded I would definitely recommend for you to check it out! Also on great location, a lots of restaurants it’s just walking distance

Will Neathawk

Bad experience turned great thanks to Roxana and Susana Upon arrival it was discovered that one of our room reservations had been cancelled without notice and there were no available rooms to accommodate Once this was brought to the attention of Roxana and Susana, they took care of cancelling our other 3 reservations for a full refund as we needed a new place to stay being hours away from home

Will revisit in the future

Kasee

Gorgeous hotel and very friendly staff I stayed in the king suite and it was beautiful! Very spacious with the bedroom and seating area that can be closed off The bathroom was huge and shower was wonderful

Loved how open it looked when the bathroom curtain was up but could be closed if you wanted privacy The only complaint I would have would be the lighting in the rooms was pretty dark and I would have appreciated brighter bulbs with dimming

Tee Tyme

I booked this hotel based on the reviews and location being near the airport Karen was awesome She checked me in with over and beyond service

Friendly and quickly at that The room was just as pictured in the photos! Which was definitely a plus I understand why the bathrooms were mentioned so much Very nice Very quiet for being near the airport Bartenders and the shuttle drivers were also very attentive and friendly I will definitely stay here again Thank you for a nice hotel experience Karen and staff!

Ngozi E.

This was my first time even hearing about EB hotel— and I’m happy that I did The staff is kind and accommodating and very helpful The rooms are modern and clean, and the beds are very comfy

It’s also easy to get to with the airport shuttle Last but not least the breakfast is yummy and affordable— not so much the dinner But still it’s very convenient to have the restaurant on site I’ll be back next time I have a layover in MIA

From the friendliest of the staff at the front desk to the cleanliness of the rooms, there is no other words but to say but wow Very professional and would highly recommend to friends and family also makes a great choice for temporary housing for those that need it due to the size of the rooms plus the kitchenette I just wish they had an oven lol

Deanna Foy

I had an extremely bad experience with the front desk hostess, Rachel who was very disrespectful to myself and my parents My parents made a reservation through a 3rd party and paid for a one night stay When my mom tried to give Rachel her confirmation number there was already an undertone of an attitude with Rachel

My mom asked what room will we be staying in and Rachel said, that a room number wasn’t assigned to us yet, which seemed out of the ordinary and then Rachel asked how will we be paying for our stay because our card was declined Rachel continued to say that very loudly in the lobby with other guest around which embarrassed my elderly parents, who knew that they paid for the room My parents were trying to tell her that they paid for the room and her only suggestion to us was to call the bank to verify the payment At this point I was getting irritated because I just finished driving over 4 hours to get to this hotel and Rachel was rude I wanted to understand what was happening and Rachel then told me that I should, “smile and say thank you to her” At that point I did not want to deal with her anymore While my dad was on the phone with our bank Rachel yelled across the lobby the last 4 digits of the card number, while other guest were in the lobby We spent another 20 minutes in the lobby tired and exhausted trying to figure out what happened with no help from Rachel (the 3rd party card decline, it wasnt our card) I worked as a hotel front desk agent for years and I would have never treated a guest the way she did or embarrassed a guest I would NOT suggest staying here, the customer service is awful, the rooms are decent, but the hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle service even though they are close to the airport, not worth the cost or the aggravation

Angie okon

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve had and I travel a lot Checked out early The night stuff was nowhere to be found for at least 20 minutes when I arrived so I stood in the dark by myself

To make it worse there was cigarette smoke that was either outside of my room or next to my room so my room had a strong cigarette smell A package was delivered and no one called me to let me know that it had arrived… Just not a good experience I never write bad reviews but this experience was bad enough for me to do so

This hotel is 5 stars The room is clean, bed very comfortable Location is a little far from South Beach but for the price it’s worth it to drive

They have an on-site Bistro they offer breakfast from 630 until 1030a and also dinner from 5 until 10p Menu offers a lot of nice choices I am impressed and will definitely revisit this establishment in the future

David Thielke

Overall real nice place to stay Our first room smelled like smoke and we had to change rooms Our next room needed a little maintenance but overall was really clean

The pool was disgustingly dirty and not well maintained The little restaurant and bar they have is really nice The food is good and convenient You don’t have to leave the premises

Yadira Peets

Worst Courtyard I have EVER stayed at!!! First they charged me again when checking in after I had already paid for the stay online Then they posted it back to my account but it takes days to stop pending Then during the night they charged another incidental fee

Second the pool is disgusting!! Third, they were banging on our door at 8 am so they could change batteries to the door lock that was working perfectly fine Fourth, the bathroom mirror had not been cleaned God only knows what else was not cleaned properly WILL NEVER BOOK HERE AGAIN!!

My entire stay has been so pleasant from top to bottom, but I really want to commend Jocelyn (the bartender at the 2nd floor lounge) My boss and I pretty much posted up in the lounge every evening/night over the past week to get some work done Thankfully, Jocelyn was here every night and was such a pleasure

She is incredibly attentive and friendly Even when she was swamped, she never missed a beat The food was great and served quickly and the drinks were perfect Jocelyn is the type of employee I think any establishment would be lucky to have! Will definitely be staying here for my next work trip

Eric Ellingworth

Stayed here for a 24 hour work trip I spend over 100 nights a year on the road for work and let me tell you, Joscelyn, the bartender at the AC Lounge was by far the best bartender I’ve ever had ANYWHERE I’ve stayed She was extremely attentive, took time to have genuine conversation with her customers, and even had her own personal signature cocktail menu

And let me tell you, this girl knows how to make a good drink! She had me sample a few and they were all remarkable Seriously, the best bartender I’ve had ANYWHERE She CRUSHED it I’m in Miami 3-4 times a year for work and will only be staying at AC Dadeland from now

Jacob PS

Terrible service No one bothers to help with your things, and no bell service to take your things to your rooms either Breakfast is nice but too pricey at 24 dollars

They also charge extra if you drink more coffee Rooms are big in size and look nice, but the toilet paper feels like it is made of sand paper Great location, almost inside a mall If you want to shop in a supermarket, you have to cross a street Overall, great place if you are not going to have breakfast here and bring your own toilet paper They allow deliveries straight to your room which is great

Amanda Lottermann

As a travel RN, I experience all types of stays for the long, 13 week contracts at hand From the moment I checked in, I have had excellent customer service from not just the very helpful staff, but manager as well It’s very obvious how hard they work to keep the guests happy and comfortable

My room was clean and they always make sure I am restocked of towels, dishes, tp etc! As far as any noise, I haven’t had anything at all to complain about and my stay was very lengthy My evenings were quiet and restful I highly recommend staying here

Ildikó Dévai

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at Came here for work and stayed a week There is zero housekeeping, and I’m pretty sure the floor was never mopped! It was so dirty that first night after arrival, using the white bath mat just once, the side that was on the floor became black! Since they don’t clean the rooms, I wiped the floor with a towel and the towel became completely black and the floor became many shades lighter

The water barely trickles from the shower head The walls are paper thin, you hear everything! There are multiple families that live here and you can hear kids screaming loudly until 10-11 PM every night The breakfast is a joke, coffee is horrible and the lids don’t even fit the cups The room key cards have to be reprogrammed every day or two The only positive thing was that the employees were fairly friendly But overall, save your sanity and stay elsewhere! I’m definitely not coming back!

Cudda Brown

The rooms where middle of the road Not bad for what your paying for

Staff is nice and meets our needs but my problems lay with the other guests who don’t follow the property rules like not smoking within 100 feet of the building Not only smoking but smoking illegal substances at that And playing loud music inside the room so much so that you don’t just hear the bass from the music but the actual words of the songs being played Overall this place gets a C because although they do an ok job running the place the atmosphere leaves something to be desired

EMMA CARABALLO

At first, this place looks clean and well maintained The lobby is beautiful and very clean The room’s bedsheets and towels were clean and fairly comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly

The breakfast was pretty good with a variety of food items each day However, the carpets in the rooms and the hallways were very dirty as well as the sofa and the chair in the room, so much so that I did not sit on either the chair or the sofa in the room When we first got to the second floor where our room was you could smell the strong odor of carpet deodorizer trying to mask the dirty carpet but this did not cover the dirt If they do a good shampoo on the carpets and furniture this hotel could be very nice since it’s in a great location where food and other shops are all nearby

Lela Godwin

Check in was great The bed was comfy Im not sure of any other floors but The rooms on the first floor have a mildew smell

They are clean and get aired out but once you are in them a while you can smell the mildew moisture odor the floors are dirty and feel damp We stayed for 2 days and my clothes absorbed the moisture from the room Definitely time for an upgrade, the walls were dirty as well

Lisseth Mejia

This hotel SMELLS horrible and it’s old It was musty and dirty The TV didn’t work, the room service it’s very deficient

Don’t get fool by pictures and the decorated lobby It’s smells horrible!!! They have to renovate the rooms and for the love of God change the carpets If you want to have pleasant vacations please stay away from this hotel

Amazing hotel It’s convenience nearby there is Starbucks and gas station less than 5 minute walk The staff is super friendly and professional

Very clean and comfortable check-in was a little confusing but otherwise the stay itself was very nice and enjoyable Had booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and one of the rooms was handicap accessible

Unfortunately the double queen room seemed only handicap accessible to the bathroom but nothing else the room was incredibly tight and difficult to move a wheelchair around in We brought this to the attention of the front desk and the manager very kindly and quickly upgraded our room to a suite with more then enough space highly recommended

Nicolas Duran

Very nice hotel with clean rooms a nice swimming pool area and a good breakfast to start the day Parking is complementary and hot coffee and tea are all day available in front of front desk I would like to specially highlight the ladies of the front desk which were very helpful in all our needs during our stay… they really make us felt at home and me and my family really appreciate that

For sure a place to return in the future

Kenneth Lineberger

Breakfast has declined The milk was warm, fruit was soggy, eggs were dry, waffles were out of stock, and the sausage was thoroughly unappealing Used to be cooked patties, now seems to be boiled links

Only thing edible were the fresh apples and bananasAlso, my air conditioner didn’t do a very good job Room stayed humid 119, for reference

I got there, and it took about 10min of the person on the phone with someone checking the computer, I asked if there was am issue and was immediately told no (2min into his convo) I waited no problem, then got told there was 1 room left, but some cleaning crew had to come into the room the following day twice to clean the carpets ans the air conditioner (Can’t make this up)

they didn’t want to upgrade to honor the reservation so I left and went else where Can’t comment on the rooms, but it looked old when I went to check in and ultimately It was a blessing not staying there I dont have many if any negative reviews I post here but it needed to be done!

Is a nice place, well maintained and clean, good place for the price, given that is an extended stay place has a kitchen, full size fridge, micro, which is convenientLocation is good, but is not a Hotel in the normal sense that you have people going and coming Here only for 2 days

Rate reasonable, if you are in Miami for extended time and need a place on a budget, is a good place No !! extra fees for parking resort fee xyz tax ,Not like the **Hilton ClearWater B & Spa** we stayed for 3 days $29/day parking at Ur own risk, several taxes adding up to ~$50/day plus resort fee $25/day crazy that was the Hilton at ClearWater Tampa, but nice place put pricy

Ok, here we go

1 If you are a light sleeper, AVOID THIS HOTEL There are airplanes back and forth all day long2 I understand this usually is a cheap hotel, if it had been around $100 per night I would probably had given 2-3 stars but as there was an event in Miami all prices were skyrocketed and they charged the same as a regular hotel, $250 per night Because of this rate I thought it was going to be a decent hotel But, turns out it’s only a cheap hotel that took advantage of the situation to charge regular fares I know this is business, and you are there to make money, but if you’re planning to charge someone with regular rates, please at least have a decent facility My review is based on my expectations, I’ve stayed in cheap hotels, and hey! for $50 per night there is not much you can ask for But for $250 I expect at least a decent room3 DO NOT LOOK AT THE PICTURES THEY PROVIDE, it is far from reality4 Check in was smooth, and Maria in the front desk was excellent My review is not based on human interactions, it’s based on the facility, it’s dirty, rusty and cheap5 Slippery bathtub I’m completely sure an elder person cannot use their bathtub6 Mattress is old that you can hear and feel the springs7 I do not understand the 4 stars review and some reviews basically saying this hotel is a dream I would had appreciated a review like this to at least be aware of what I was going to findConclusion: I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, but if you must stay here please be careful It’s not safe We’re a young couple and it was challenging for usI will not comeback

Absolutely perfectI mean I saw all one start reviews and was kind of surprised to see how well managed this hotel isNothing at all is true when people complained about the staff not doing their work, roaches all around but I had totally the opposite experience

I am surprised to see people complaining about the airplane ✈️ noise , the name of the hotel in itself is Doral Inn & Suites Miami Airport west , it is near to the airport what do you think how the airplanes will land if they don’t make noise while landing or taking offThe room was perfect , it was all cleaned and packed with utensils and coffeeThe front desk was available for all our queries , the breakfast was good and no complaints I can make ofIf I visit Miami again then I will surely stay here again

I have been there 3 times the 1st 2 times it was excellent The staff was nice swimming pool Was closing at 11pm but this time the staff was not friendly, the general manager lied to me about the room We couldn’t use the swimming pool Cause it was dirty, the yakuzzi was green filled with mold

The Spanish guy working in the evening was the only one that made us feel welcome Very bad experience my friends and viewers

During checking at 9:30 PM the desk clerk was rude, like I was interfering with her evening I asked to have my rooms cleaned daily Responded “we don’t do that here”

When asked why, the response was because of the pandemic Really, from someone who is in a different city every week, this is the first hotel in over a year that refused to clean rooms when asked Just another example of a hotel reducing services using the pandemic as an excuse Continental breakfast consisted of Jimmy Dean sandwich turkey sausage and overcook dry omelets Not very appetizing Location is not that convenient, down an alley in the back The management allowed a large freight truck to block ten spaces right in front of the entrance reducing the already limited parking ” Should have parked on the side” Checked out this morning Same desk clerk, still rude, still unhelpful Was going to stay another week here as I still have business in Miami but I changed to a more accommodating hotel To be honest this treatment is what I have come to expect from the Marriott brand Will do my best to stay at more accommodating brands in the future
