I had to come to the area for a funeral and this hotel was recommended by my great nieceI drove throughout the night and arrived earlyThe staff worked extremely hard to get me into a room before the allotted check-in time

The room was nice and very comfortableI have back problems but slept great on their mattressThe location is awesome Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as well as a movie theater and a TargetThe staff was very friendly but I didn’t require any service during my 3 day stay, except for an extra towelOn the downside, parking was definitely a premium at night timeAlso, as much as I liked my room, there was an odd, but slight fish- like smell to the room initiallyBut it either went away or I got used to itBottom line is I would highly recommend this place and definitely stay there again if I was in the areaI’m very grateful this place was recommended to me

On Monday July 19th, 2022, when checking in to the hotel, Hampton Inn refused to honor the price that was quoted to me when I booked the room through their website They were trying to charge me $50 more than what my email stated I showed them my email straight from the Hilton/Hampton company and they still refused to honor the price that was given

I asked to cancel the room without the charges because they could not honor my quoted price, to which they agreed I specifically asked Divine (the front desk worker) more than once to confirm that I was not going to be charged to which she replied that I would not Today while looking at my bank account there was a charge there for $134 When I called the hotel and spoke with Divine this evening she refused to admit that she or the hotel had done anything wrong She told me that I should have just accepted the price she gave me originally I feel strongly that they should have honored both the price quoted to me from the company website/email as well as the agreement to not charge me for the cancellation I did contact their corporate offices and took care of getting my refund through that avenue, but I want others to know to watch out for these liars and cheats!

Sketchy situations at front desk and in hallways I reported it to management after returning home because I was still unsettled about what we saw The facility was nice though! Beds were very comfortable and our kids and us slept well

The room was clean, but supplies were missing and we had to return to desk to ask for coffee, shampoo bottles, etc I honestly wouldn’t stay here again

very clean rooms with a full size refrigerator and freezer a full 12 cup coffee pot with coffee provided and paper cups i didn’t look in any of the cupboards because we didn’t cook in the room there may have been porcelain coffee cups as well along with plates and silverware but I am unsure we only stayed one night and was our 1st time staying at a myplace

Bed was comfortable everything was new and clean we definitely would stay again

The hotel and room it’s self aren’t bad, it’s just sketchy They have an extra $100 deposit fee at check-in which I didn’t see posted anywhere but right on the front desk Cool, we paid that and stayed there for 3 nights

The last night we came back to the hotel a little late and after making it all the way up to our floor and room, the keys wouldn’t work We went back to the front desk and they acted like they didn’t know we were in that room still and we had to argue with them for the keys to be reprogrammed since they had shut them off All of our stuff still in the room, and they were trying to deny us access to the only beds we have at 1 in the morning Over $400 for our stay (not including the $100 deposit) and I’m in shock because I’ve never even heard of a hotel doing this I planned to come back and use this hotel often, but not after this incident This made me feel really unsafe, and really unsure about being able to leave my items in the room when I leave to do things If they’re going to cut off my access to the room, who may have had access in between?

We booked through a reputable third party service and the staff told us there were no rooms available when we arrived Multiple other people in the lobby who booked through other services were also told their rooms were oversoldWe requested a refund and were told that we need to get one through the third party service

Then we asked if we could get documentation from them stating they didn’t have a room available to provide as evidence in order to get our refund The immediate response to this was “I don’t have anything to give you”When new guests showed up to check in, the front desk person proceeded to tell us to sit down instead of helping us resolve our issue We were repeatedly brushed off when we asked for updates I realize the staff member was dealing with a stressful situation but she was unnecessarily rude I can’t speak to the quality of the hotel itself but the customer service left something to be desired

Very limited parking space, I had to park in the back of the hotel with no sideways that lend towards the front of the building Unsafe during the dark in my opinion Checked into my first room with the temperature almost at 80°F and called front desk, she was pretty short with me saying to give it a couple of minutes but since I walked into the room with the AC turned on but still at 80°, it obviously wasn’t working

Arranged for another room, same situation Come to find out, front desk finally said there was a problem with the AC earlier, so maybe the problem wasn’t solved or they should have double checked if the AC was working properly Third time was the charm for the AC but the room is dirty and smells horrid, I had to spray my hairspray to mask the smell The toilet wasn’t cleaned thoroughly either Cleanliness should be a priority Marriott bonvoy is about to lose a customer for good

VERY DISAPPOINTED!My wife and I booked a room here, and ended up having to reschedule due to Covid We called a few days in advance to see about rescheduling our stay We were told by the manager, this wouldn’t be a problem

We were transferred several times to a department that was supposed to help, only to find out they couldn’t help with this only the manager could We continued this process several times, and got no where We called in again a day later, and received fantastic customer service from Jessica She empathized with the situation, and said her managers would definitely be able to help She told us to expect a call on Monday from the managers We never received a call back We waited a week and didn’t hear anything back We called again a week later, and spoke to Alexis She was great at listening, but let us know she would need to speak to the manager The manager, Jason, said there was nothing he could do, and we would not be able to get a refund, credit, or anything even after we were told this could be done I asked if I could speak with the manager Jason to explain the situation to him, and was told that he was not available This was poor customer service on Jason’s part, as we received no explanations on why nothing could be done, after we were told multiple times we would be helped We hope this review is read, and fixed for future incidents that are similarFeel free to reach out for any additional details

The hotel room was very dark and outdated The bathtub dripped all night I had to hit the up button on the thermostat about 10 times just to get it up one degree

Limited parking unless you want to park in the upper lot and walk a mile to the elevator Also, they did not allow late check out due to having “full compacity”, which I have never had this issue with Marriott before I stay at Marriott’s 2-3 days each week and I come to the Murray area frequently and I thought the hotel looked nice from the outside so gave it a try I am very disappointed and will start staying further from my work location to have a better experience Think twice before booking here

Kev Nowers

The location was convenient and seemed pretty secure Check in was efficient and we were treated well with all staff interactions Cleanliness was good throughout the property

Breakfast was standard fair with an okay variety but pretty meh quality I didn’t have high expectations and unfortunately wasn’t surprised by a stellar tasting breakfast either It’s good enoughI did feel misled regarding our room Realizing that some of this is on me for not doing better research when booking, it was disappointing to book a ‘suite’ to find it just a standard room with two beds and a pull out all in the same space My previous experience with booking suites involved having some separation in sleeping space This meant our space was cramped with 5 people but it workedI would stay here again, but make sure you know what you are getting if booking a ‘suite’

J Spence

Had a nice stay here overnight The woman checking me in was very hospitable They should give her a uniform to wear though so she can feel good about her job

The room was clean Pet (dog) fee was $20 which is why we stayed here Typical HIE breakfast in the morning, which is always nice to haveAs most places go in SLC/UT – absolutely 0 social distancing or mask wearing here – save one housekeeper And we wonder why we’re still in this 2 1/4 years later I guess to be expected when all the license plates are from UT/NV/IDAlso didn’t see many (or any) hand sanitizing stations Expect to have your personal space invaded by the geriatrics in the morning buffet line, breathing all over your food

Leeroy Mitchell

I would like to say first the Housekeeping staff is amazing and deserve 5 stars! I stayed at this property for 3 weeks while my place was being prepared Miss Martina is the best! Ashley at the front desk was accommodating and understanding deserve 5 stars! She went over and beyond to ensure my stay was a relaxing experience Now I will explain why this property is not getting 5 star because the lady that do the breakfast is by far the meanest individual I ever met

She is so damn lazy and spend most of the time on her cellphone Breakfast is the worst and she rarely put out multiple items! Everything is always undercooked and poorly managed! I wouldn’t want no one to lose there jobs but they may need to consider sitting her down and having a conversation with her!

Nice looking from the outside but they cheaped out on the thin walls & floors Do yourself a favor if you stay here and only stay on the top floor The people above us apparently had a child’s “birthday party” from 12pm-10pm

We called around 8pm because we could not take the banging and jumping anymore We were told they should be finishing up soon 10pm comes around and the noise has not stopped I mean this was so loud I thought they had to be doing this on purpose there is no way people normally stomp like this for hours Called the front desk again and was told (with an attitude) that she would call them Finally it stopped around 11pm The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the sheets felt old and scratchy The room & bathroom were clean and the room itself was very big and spacious This place has a lot of potential but it seems like they cheap out on the important things I do like that they are dog friendly & the location was good for us to get to snowbird WARNING: The staff & most of the clientele were not wearing masks, If you feel safer with masks this is not the place for you!

I will give this La Quinta Hotel the maximum starts Here are some remarks, clean, well illuminated, modern design, good customer service, room service every day no BS Special remarks, quiet place!!! Recommendations: need more work on the breakfast, it is always the same and over greasy

Excellent for families, an exceptional place if you are working locally and you want a place where you can rest and have a pleasant time

Amber Regan

We stay here about once a year just to be closer to some activities This time, we stayed in room 218 on 5/6-5/8 very close to the elevator Not only were the walls and ceiling incredibly thin and the shutting of other residents door’s loud enough to shake our door and wake us up at 6am every day, but our door didn’t fully lock

Upon leaving the room, we would have to pull the door for it to shut all the way also which didn’t feel very safe considering my husband was the one to always remember to do thatWhen we first arrived, there was a used cleaning towel on the couch and a child’s snap-braceletThe dust in the room was almost unbearable, specifically on the desk I would leave my iPad there for the day while we were out and about and it was sickly coveredThe room in general has several damages The water pressure was weak in the showerWe enjoy staying here but this visit wasn’t the same as all our others We didn’t change rooms just because we were out all day anyway This room needs attention and we are disappointedThankfully, service at the front desk is always amazing and the employees are incredibly kind

It’s adequate but I probably wouldn’t call it good, and definitely not great Room reeked of cigarettes, walls are VERY thin and you can hear even quiet conversations from neighbors When I showed up the room wasn’t very clean–a wad of toilet paper still in toilet, some small bits of garbage on the floor, the dishes in the room had spots on them

Nothing on its own was enough to complain to the front desk about, but added together they were enough that I wouldn’t stay here againStaff was friendly, complimentary breakfast was decent, the rooms themselves are comfortable enough

Great stay We love using a digital key and checking in/out on the app No need to talk to people at all!Room 422 (king+sleeper) was almost total black out, save for one bright sliver of light on the side of the window

Bathroom offered an adjustable nightlight if neededA/C worked really well Any loudness helped muffle hallway sounds as people walked by from the elevatorShower head was adjustable There didn’t seem to be an exhaust fan, but no biggieBreakfast was decent continentalmake your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, reheated omelets, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit Nothing special, but no complaintsCompared to the Holiday Inn Express next door, a definite winner!

Shanda Weil

Good east to find location, though you do hear freeway noise from your room Not bad but something to be aware ofDigital keys work great!Breakfast was well stocked and good options

Indoor Pool is a good sizeOur personal pro is an actual bathroom door (we have a pet peeve with the new trend to have a barn door on new/remodeled hotels)

Laurence Gray

COVID disappointment, Upon check in was notified the hotel does not clean rooms for stay unless asked I was staying four nights and I requested clean room every day first day was great came back to room after working and found room clean then nothing, room not clean second day or third day

Out of coffee, out of cups, needed to fetch towels Disappointment for sure They should discount the rooms if they are not cleaning them This is after requesting the room to be cleaned a few times

I have to say that the room was decent except for the noisy neighbors but not too bad The room was comfortable What we had an issue with was breakfast

Breakfast is supposed to be from 7:00 to 10:00am We came down at 8:00am The selection was extremely poor at best and when we asked if they had any more breakfast sandwiches we were told no they were out How can you be out an hour after you put breakfast out? She wasn’t the most pleasant either The juice was empty and never refilled So you had a choice to make your own waffle, an egg patty in a paper bag, bread, or cereal I understand it’s a complementary breakfast, however, running out of food an hour after you begin breakfast is not acceptable We have stayed at other locations all over Wyoming and have never had such a poor breakfast

Hurdy Turdy

it was our first time staying herePros :* Good location, close to a lot of stores, Liquor store and the hospital* Room was spacious & clean* Breakfast was decent not great* Beds were comfortable but not great* Spacious Lobby Area and cleanCons :* We had to wait about 15 minutes for the frond desk Lady to show up at the desk

(there were no signs posted)* Make sure the request a room not close to the elevator it was loud* They were out of coffee for breakfast* the chocolate milk was expired ( we noticed when we checked out and on the way home)* The lobby music was really loud, specially at nightsOverall we are happy with the stay, would stay here again

Sarah Evans

I reserved a room with two queen beds and was given a room with only one king I called and asked for the correct room and was told a new room and then the staff member hung up I did not know if I needed to go down and get new keys, if someone was bringing them up, or if she could change them from her computer

We do to our new room and the key doesn’t work I have to take my exhausted children back down to the front desk to get new keysOn top of that, the carpets are absolutely disgusting; completely covered in stains The entire hotel smells like someone bathed in curry and then rolled around on every single floor I love to eat curry, don’t get me wrong, but this was something elseOverall, I will NEVER stay at a Home2Suite again Worst hotel experience of my life

Jerry Hardway

Pretty good location with easy access from the airport and interstate Staff is friendly and the hotel is generally okay The place is dated and it does show it’s age to some degree

My wife and I stayed two weeks here and it definitely wasn’t the best stay we ever had but it was acceptable They have a standard continental breakfast every day but no waffles or pancakes The rooms are fairly nice but nothing special Our microwave was old and the platter no longer rotated making it hard to evenly warm up food Our fridge didn’t have a freezer section but was cold enough to freeze water unfortunately There is also no temperature adjustment on said fridge The room did have a nice couch, chair, and table to allow for working from the hotel room The hotel internet was acceptable but we did bring a cellular hotspot to work from The bathrooms are small but look okay The shower was cold about half the time so I assume the water heating boilers cannot keep up with the typical demand from the guests Last but not least our sheets were dirty when we got into the room I definitely wouldn’t stay here if you want luxury but it’s cheap and doesn’t have bugs so it’s not all bad

Amber Dailey

Check in went fine Got to our room, it was decent Left for our concert then got back around midnight

Went to go to bed and pulled the sheets down to reveal 3 long hairs and 2 short hairs in my bed Called the front desk and they said they could move us to another room It’s midnight I’m not going to move to another room in the middle of the night after I had already unpacked all my things Had to be demanding that they come and make the bed with new sheets They finally did and I could finally go to bed Also when I finally laid down you could hear someone stomping around upstairs until 3 am I will not stay here again Not just the hair but the fact you can hear others in their rooms The manager gave us $25 off our stay I guess something is better than nothing but we will not be staying here ever again

Gabi German

Customer service: I said “good morning” or “hi” to more than 5 front desk employees and they didn’t say back All of them standing next to a “be kind” sign I found it sarcastic

Good location, easy access to train and restaurants all around itClean and confortable

We enjoyed our stay here Hotel rooms were nice and well kept Our bathroom had a roomy shower with glass doors

The free breakfast was great The staff were welcoming and helpful It’s close to the airport and downtown We rented a car, but honestly it may have been better to just Uber since all we were doing was going downtown We had to pay parking every time we went down there So I’m not sure how much it saved us since we just went down town for a conference all day and kept our parking at one location There were lots that were $20 and others that were $10

JameZ Bee

This is just a great place to stay The rooms are very clean and up to date Mattresses are good

The staff is very attentive, great customer service And the location is conveniently right off the freeway, but not so close that you hear it in your room There is plenty of parking The pricing is a little bit higher than other hotels in the area Not significantly higher But then it’s nicer than the other hotels nearby as well

Kate Swensen

Staff is really helpful and friendly they were the best part of our stay Room cleanliness was okay If you’re going for the pool I wouldn’t classify it as a water park, much smaller than it looks in photos

The Poole cleanliness wasn’t great either Be sure to know kids under 48” can’t ride the big slide which was a letdown for my kids who were just under that My kids had fun but we probably won’t be back

The employees are great but the GM shouldn’t interact with customers – inflexible to the point of rudeness, though that is often more a corporate issue The rooms are cleaned and well maintained but the building is poorly designed – especially for an efficiency; you can hear casual conversations in neighboring rooms and enjoy the scents of whatever they’re cooking/eating if it is remotely spiced Shared smells are not ideal in a pet friendly hotel

If you can get an isolated room with no out of the ordinary needs or issues, it’s worth saving the money over Marriott/Hampton/Hilton efficiencies, otherwise the headaches here are worth the cost of an extra star hotelKey Tip: kitchenette does not come with utensils, pots, pans, dishware, etc If you’re going to be cooking, that alone might make TownePlace a better choice

We stay here quite often for personal and business trips The rooms are always clean and quiet We love that the pool is open during the late hours

There is plenty of grass areas outside for pets The location feels safe and we have never had any issues with work materials in the trucks The elevator is a little wobbly so we have taken the stairs quite a bit which is inconvenient with bags We do stay often so it would be nice to get a discount after multiple stays and being loyal!

Sunshine “MamaSun” Krunglevich

We stayed at this best western on a spring break trip to Salt Lake city We traveled with a dog, they hold a $25 cleaning fee per night for this We were only charged a total of$25 for cleaning after we left

Probably due to having a yellow lab that shed quite a bit, so I understand and am not upset about it The rooms were very clean, the bathrooms were very clean, the hallways had a few ” sprinkles” of evidence of others staying there, but those things were not there the next day, ie, they clean this place to to bottom daily My only complaint world be that the mattresses are spring mattresses and you can tell they could use an update Overall the nights sleep was comfortable, but I did miss my memory foam bed from home Highly recommend this best western, centrally located, friendly and helpful staff, free breakfast, pool, and clean rooms!!!

Andy Gorrospe

Good location near the main road and has Wendy’s right beside it Lobby is small and so is the breakfast area Has a pool which is great, however, you have wet guests walking to their rooms and dripping on the carpet making the hallway and elevator smell dank (which would be ok if I were at the beach)

The shower handle (to turn the water on) also requires some force to pull, I thought I was going to snap it off the wall Front desk staff are nice and friendly Mixture of pros and cons but enough pros for 4 stars

My wife and I were very impressed with our stay here We have definitely found our hotel of choice!Everything was clean, seemed new, and we loved the modern feel Hardwood floors made us much more comfortable than any other hotel we’ve been in (No icky carpet)

I haven’t seen a bathroom that was as clean either The bed was comfy and the larger than average TV was coolOnly minor complaints would be that the brightness of the TV wasn’t adjustable and too bright for my liking (while trying to watch in the dark) and there was a slight gap in the door letting in light from the hallway These things didn’t take away from the pleasure of our stay thoughUsing your phone to check in and as a key card is something I look forward to using at our next visit

We enjoyed our 3 day stay @ this hotel while visiting family Room & bathroom were perfect size for twobigger people Nice to have no carpet in room

(We are use to hardwood floors @ home) Loved hooks on wall to hang coats & my purse Staff friendly & helpful @ this hotel Breakfast good & enjoyed fresh pancake machine Husband wished that bread available to make toast he is not a bagel person We would stay here again & look for this type of hotel @ other places we visit

This hotel looks nice but it has some pros and cons Staff seems great and the only issue they could help me with they helped me quicklyPros: modern look and feelComfy bedsCons:The ac unit in my room sounds like the beginning of a movie on surround sound at max volume I never got more than 3 hours of sleep at a time because that bad boy would roar (literally) to life

I set my room at 75 to try to avoid it to no availThe desk and chair in the room are not ergonomic- the chair is pretty but awfulThis seems like a nice area of town but there were constantly people walking around or sitting in the parking lot near my car, walking around while I was in the pool Super weirdMy alarm was set before my arrival and it woke me up at 6 am the one day I was able to sleep in I got it to stop but the empty room next to me also had an alarm going off… very frustratingThe rooms are not sound insulated at all- every person that uses the door by my room wakes me up I can hear them very, very wellHear me out, but the showers are too high pressure There’s no way to change it Showers feel like a minor domestic assault, or alternatively, aggravated assault if you try to change it and pick a more aggressive settingOverall a pretty hotel that missed a lot of details… I would try another tru hotel again but it seems like tru went for “flashy” and not for “quality”

This is an older Hampton Inn It desperately needs some attention Not in the best part of town

No refrigerator or microwave in the room as normal in many Hilton properties I was scheduled to stay for 4 nights I moved to another much better Hilton property for the same rate downtownI would recommend this place only if you need a room to sleep in or it is ski season and the rate was good Definitely better hotels in Salt Lake City to stay in

Absolutely horrible customer service! An older woman’s husband was dying in the hospital and the hotel wouldn’t allow her to extend their reservation because he wasn’t at the hotel – in person! How in the world would he be able to do that? The woman offered to pay cash but the front counter shooed her away When she asked if he wanted her to sleep in her car, he just shrugged Appalling customer service

All staff were the same None seemed to like their jobs and several talked badly about new management DO NOT stay at this hotel

Because my wife is allergic to dogs and there were no rooms for her at this hotel because ALL rooms are pet friendly We asked to change rooms, no dice

even though the parking lot was basically empty We asked for a refund, no dice because we paid ahead I have stayed at Hilton properties for 40 years This has never happened before, and I hope it never happens again Or I may move to Marriott!

The room reeked of old stale cigarettes Bed was very hard and uncomfortable But, everything was clean

Only provided 2 towels I had to ask for more Windows were very dirtyTypical breakfast We used the laundry facilities, and the washers and dryers worked well It’s not a bad place, but lots of room for improvement

Daniel Cerecedas

Location was the best everything was within 10 minutes from us Some places within walking distance The old guy at the breakfast area was awesome and very helpful

Only thing that we didn’t like was that the hot tub was out of service and we were really looking forward to that in the other hand the water for the pool was warm I wish all hotels had it like that Will definitely be staying here next time we are in town

What I love about Hampton Inn and Suites im Jordan Landing is the rooms are huge I stayed in a king suite with my baby and it was just what we needed Kitchen to wash bottles with lots of counter space, fridge, and microwave if needed

The bed was great, and the bathroom had a bathtub which was amazing with a baby Then I ended up checking out a day earlier and figured I wouldn’t get a refund so I didn’t bother asking The receptionist asked her manager without me knowing and didn’t charge me for the extra night It was such a surprise and so nice of them I definitely will be back The breakfast was nice as well with such nice people making sure everything was stocked and great for the guests Such a nice stay, nice people, and so convenient, I definitely will come back Thanks!!

Ended up staying here for a week The staff is super friendly, especially Paul! He was very helpful, professional and just a great guy! They are pet friendly too! Surrounding area of the hotel doesn’t provide much grass but there’s plenty of areas to walk your pet with the nearby propertiesHad a hot breakfast every morning with decent variety

From eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon to a mini waffle maker to muffins and bagels/bread Cereal and yogurt too! Plenty of good restaurants nearby and a couple of barsThe rooms are clean and comfortable The sink is outside of the bathroom which wasn’t a big deal to me Rooms come with a fridge and a microwave Would definitely stay here again They were great!

We paid for a king sized suite… the shower was barely comfortable for one person and the plug for the tub was just sitting on the side of the tub Our flat screen tv was quite small, you couldn’t really see it very well from the bed due to how small it was Honestly, there was nothing different from a regular king bed compared to what I had for king suites at other Comfort Inns

I was quite disappointed and had I known that was what the suite would be I would have chosen to save the amount to upgrade and just gotten a normal king bed, not the suite The room in general felt like it really needed to be updated, except for the mattress, the mattress was the only thing that felt suite like in our roomThe staff was pretty good and friendly though, I appreciated their work And I loved having check out be noon instead of the traditional 11am Everything also appeared to be decently clean as well, I feel like the staff cared but our room definitely needed an update and to not be considered a suite

shauna harris

Extremely dirty Everywhere not just the room Our sheets were not clean

Literally stains in the pillow and sheets The pool was dark poorly little the plastic covering for the roof had a huge hole It was freezing and raining in the pool We will never stay at a Comfort Inn again Not the first poor experience we’ve had Do not stay here Unsanitary

Location isnt super close to much Service was above and beyond and helpful Only reason for the missing stars is because you can hear everything in the rooms

We stayed here one night before flying out and stayed here the night we flew back in two weeks later We left our vehicle here which was in one piece when we came back However the first night our room was next to the exit side door and next to the stairwell You Could hear everyone going in and out the door, anyone going up or down the stairs and any conversations in the stairwell The second stay they put us in a room right by the elevator It was the same thing again You could hear anyone getting on or off the elevator Just wasn’t ever quiet which made it not very relaxing Besides that, the rooms were clean the beds were comfortable and the staff was lovely

Nice clean room Staff was friendlyThe breakfast service was really bad

We arrived Saturday for a funeral Sunday morning there was nothing in the hot food section Bagels and muffins looked like leftovers from the day before Monday there was 1 dried up omelet and a few potatoes Tuesday was better with breakfast sandwichesI spoke with the manager, Sydnee Shiner, she politely explained how everything went wrong with someone getting sick She apparently had no backup I was informed that breakfast is complimentary so if you don’t get it that is OK She emphasized complimentary I will remember that if I want to stay at another Fairfield Inn

Location is great, very convenient whether you need to get to the mountains or downtown and is close to the interstate The hotel is well maintained and the room was clean, staff was nice and they had hot breakfast My problem with them is they let people pay cash for the hotel (which is my understanding against Marriott brands policy)

The issue with it that dangerous criminals can be staying in the same hotel with you I found this out during my last day witnessing police arrest a group of people (one of which escaped in the car) I didn’t ask what they were arrested for but as police moved their cars so I could get out, one of the detectives asked me a few questions and told me the people they arrested paid cash to stay there I view this as a safety concern

We were in Salt Lake last week for my daughter’s volleyball tournament We were pleasantly surprised with both our hotel and the wonderful people working there Cold weather during spring break was not something we we’re looking forward to but our experience at SpringHill Suites West Valley was relaxing

Miguel, the general manager is a great person The ladies at the front desk always greeted us with a smile Our room was spacious and clean The workout facility was clean and adequate Breakfast was perfect for a family on the go early in the morning The location is a fairly short drive to the downtown convention center My wife and I enjoyed a few drinks across the parking lot at Pins and Brews Red Robin, Starbucks, In and Out Burger, and a DQ in the mall…we enjoyed our stay in SLC and our home base, SpringHill Suites

Jerry Zhong

Overall a solid night stay, and location is very convenient However, the breakfast was slightly disappointing: lacking a bit of varieties compared to other marriotts we’ve stayed at Also, if you arrive in an EV and is planning to use the charger at the hotel, take it with a grain of salt since both the plugs were out and I had to go to downtown to top up

Markia Lewis

We stayed here on business and we really enjoyed our stayThe staff was friendly and accommodating; they called me when my Amazon package arrived and placed us in a non pet room since I’m allergic to pet dander They provided clean extra towels, without a wait

The hotel is directly across from the mall that has one of the best movie theatres on town! We selected lounge seating and the theatre also had excellent surround sound There are also a lot of resturants within walking distance; and a bowling alley that has a full rssturant and bar, axe throwing, pool table, video games and billardsThe room was super clean!***My only major complaint, the hotel needs to offer decaf coffee This is the only Marriott hotel that I’ve stayed at, who didn’t offer decaf coffee You should offer a decaf option

A pleasant stay at an average hotel Booking at a Holiday Inn Express, I essentially just want a comfortable bed in a clean room This location delivered just that

We were upgraded to the suite, after requesting a top floor room We are IHG members and that ensured our complimentary room upgrade Happy with the quality of the room, it was clean (enough) and very spacious Climate controls worked fantastic – there’s an option for constant fan which is fantastic white noise during the night Bathroom was functional, and the shower was roomy with plenty of hot water and high water pressureOnly things that were negative to this stay is due to the amenities 1) The pool/hot tub area was a battleground of families and children vying for space in the water Also, the water itself smelled rancid and was very slimy 2) the breakfast was mediocre Yes, there was food options presented, but I think I’ve had better quality food served at military chow halls I was really looking forward to both of these features, and was left disappointedOverall, a good value for 3 night weekend stay Would return again!

This was the best experience I have had in awhile when visiting the Salt Lake City area The fact that they had an opening was just the beginning, (last minute reservation on Memorial Day weekend) We arrived about 4:00pm exhausted from the drive and check in was so easy and the staff was very helpful and knew their job🙂

We were offered cold water and a tour , we skipped both We located our room 😄 right across from the pool and fitness center 👏 The room was fresh and bright, clean and well stocked the shower head was amazing (pulse massage 🙃) water pressure was great, towels and shower curtain clean and attractive Coffee maker, refrigerator microwave built-in and out of the way TV remote was clean and undamaged Window was huge and well placed with privacy liners and black out curtains that were in working order The Air conditioner was great and at night the heater came on to keep us toasty and comfortable This location is my new favorite go-to when I visit my family in SLC The next day breakfast was fresh and hot (6-9 AM ) and a good variety of choices ( the only place I’ve found Cranberry juice available) 🙃👏😄 no long lines or unnecessary delays Options for seating in the dining room or your welcome to take it to your room Indoor pool and hot tub (6AM-10PM could have a good cleaning but it wasn’t gross ) was a good way to end a long rainy day, the beds were very nice and the extra pillows were a bonus(6 on each bed)👏 with the thermostat set on auto we all woke up refreshed and well rested For a last minute reservation on a busy Holiday price wasn’t too bad We opted to stay over and at first it was a little confusing as to how it would be billed, 🤨(an extra $100 for incidentals????)🤔🙄 but the clerk informed us of our options and handle everything for us Our deposit was quickly returned (2 hours) upon check out All in All it was a pleasant experience and the service and staff was excellent *****

BumbleB Flow

Staff with attitude, when one goes to work and doesn’t want to be there Projects that failure on others The online site let’s you check in at various times, but the hotel has a policy if 3 pm to 11 am, so mind that

The pool? They stuck a bird bath in an enclosed place Ants crawl the floor from under the sink to the tub, they had plenty of room and may give a better review If your with someone, you will have to take turns to get past the bed If your in a pinch why not but way over valued The staff was the biggest issue Fake smiles, yet body language doesn’t lie After a heart surgery procedure, we had to wait 3 hours to book in, even after we had selected 11 am and got a confirmation and still was 30 minutes late on that Breakfast was a 2 item selection Coffee was horrid Microwave is basically on the floor! If you value a comfortable environment, and pleasant surroundings this place is not for you Bad enough it’s Utah, don’t be lazy
