Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your resort This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area

I have been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I’m sure!Samantha and Too Smooth where very professional, polite, and helpful The room was great and the view of Busch Gardens was great, we saw the fireworks show from our room Great coffee, and breakfast Thank you We will be back The only issue I had was I booked on bookingcom and the was no record of it and I had to pay a lot more for the time we stayed

GOOD:– Seriously friendly staff The staff we encountered at check in and the morning breakfast was the best… and really carries the positive weight of this review– We chose this location for its proximity to Busch Gardens and it served those needs well

You can’t walk straight to the park’s entrance because a wall around the BG forces pedestrians to walk a bit out of the way A brisk walk can get you from hotel to park turnstyle in about 20 minutes– Rooms have a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker– Interior designs from the lobby to our room are fresh and modern… really looking good– Breakfast had all the hot items that have become staples… eggs, sausage, steamy oatmeal kettle, waffle station, etc– Digital keys are available on the Hilton app We appreciated the option of being able to check in online, choose the room location, and enter our room without physical key cards– Easy in and out of the parking lot via back streets leading to traffic lightsCAUTIONS:– While the room looked great on the surface, it had some rough edges Some brushed stainless steel surfaces have become rusty… not sure if this has been accelerated by extra pandemic cleaning liquids or just from steamy showers… nonetheless, it needs attention– We needed a screwdriver Not the drink… a literal screwdriver From cabinet handles to bathroom fixtures, there was a bit of giggling going on… every screw needed to be tightened Even the TV wasn’t far from coming detached from its swivel connection None of this caused any inconveniences, but it’s a clear sign of minor neglectSUMMARY:– I wouldn’t necessarily give this hotel a perfect score, but I would not hesitate to stay here again Again, the staff is great… making this a solid choice for the Busch Gardens visitor

Had 2 king rooms for family birthday celebration Hotel was even nicer than when we stayed in 2018 The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful

The hotel offers free Uber/Lyft to Busch Gardens from 9:30a to 3:30p which was great Our rooms faced the street and we watched the fireworks from there Continental breakfast very good Pool not huge but refreshingDefinitely recommend staying here

This place is the BEST! I recently stayed for a weekend and accidently left my work computer in my room I realized when I got home The office manager and staff were so helpful and kind

They helped with the return and I was so grateful I had a shipping company pick up my computer and I received it back in perfect condition Definitely the place to stay! Thank you! Thank you!

When getting a hotel like La Quinta Inn, you need to remember you’re not staying at the Sheraton or Embassy Suites You’re getting something affordable, convenient, and reliable which is exactly what it was! So I’m typically not as picky or critical if something is going on I needed a place to stay for a few days and I got a very comfortable stay

Rooms were a little outdated but cozy, breakfast was nice but there wasn’t much variety And all of that is fine! It’s not the Sheraton rememberThe location to Busch Gardens was awesome and a short Uber/Lyft away and there were some shops about a 10-15 minute walk away which was convenient The staff was extremely friendly and was helpful in answering any question or dealing with any issue I had They were awesome and a big part of the reason why I enjoyed my stayThe stay wasn’t perfect, there was some issues with the toilet, a little water leaked from the AC window unit and I had to get a new key card because mine didn’t work for my room Did I want this to happen? Absolutely not, but for the price I paid and convenience I was okay with it

magaly ramos

The bathroom it’s too low to the floor do you need to update the room more model The carpet needs to go they look really old! The people works there they’re really nice the lobby everything smells good but they need new carpet update to look nicer! The only thing I don’t like the doors when you go in the room they make tuna too much noise you sure slam doors all night

First room they gave us smelled strongly of smoke They were prompt about giving us a new one They moved us to the first floor

In the morning it was extremely loud outside with people slamming doors, perhaps the cleaning crew There is no carpet so everything echoes loudly The room was fine Efficiency style Everything very basic but it was clean The pool is small and it was dirty with goggles and hair ties at the bottom For the price of $299 a night I would expect better

Brenda DiPalma

Really good hotel Convenient to Moffitt Cancer Center I haven’t asked yet about handicapped rooms

Are their any available? We book online but there’s no place for special needs I was comfortable in my room, it was clean and cool Love those blinds! People were nice, the grounds were well kept The pool was beautiful and taken care of Looks like new carpet, very pretty Breakfast is right on The other 2 hotels by this hotel do not have good breakfasts The whole staff was kind, considerate and friendly I will be back for my next round of chemo and will definitely stay at your establishment Thank you!

Horrible! We are IHG gold elite members Never had a problem at any of their hotels and on the contrary theyvare always our go to place to stay But this one is truly one to write about

They booked us into a room that they knowingly knew had a broken AC because when we called the front desk the lady said they knew and had been trying to fix for 2 days She told us the hotel was fully booked and we needed to deal with it and call the general manager the day after That there was nothing she could or would do and assumes since they have known, that maintenance ordered parts She was extremely rude and unfazed by the horrible service she was providing We called IHG complaint line, they called hotel, spoke to Kara who said she would call us immediately to correct issue Well here we are day 2 with no phone call from anyone To make it worst the room was dirty in ways you don’t even want to know Don’t bother staying here until you are sure this is 100% under new management and staff

I spent 2 nights in this hotel while visiting family The mattresses, though a bit hard were fine, but the box springs on both beds must have been in ROUGH shape because they were clunky sounding everytime you moved The room was good sized and very clean though! The breakfast offerings were fine and as expected, but the whole breakfast area was kind of gross

There was no one wiping tables after guests left or wiping the counters in the buffet area! The tables were sticky from syrup, jelly, and juice and the buffet area was only lightly stocked I ended up just grabbing a waffle and some juice and eating in my room because I knew it was cleanThe front desk and housekeeping staff were all nice and I felt very safe at this location

Dani W

Pros: convenient location right off I4, gas and newish Bob Evans restaurant right next door, night and morning front desk employees were efficient and friendly, bed was old and bouncy but slept okCons: room smelled of old stale smoke (especially around the a/c unit and the drapes), carpet was old and had dark dirt stains, bathroom tile grout was old and cracked, toilet seat was looseI understand the hotel is due to be renovated in a few months, but by the smell and looks of our room, this is many years past due The price point of $150 plus tax does not represent a good value

Deb Hollaway

The good Check in was efficient through the Hilton app, although the digital key did not work Front desk staff was friendly and efficient in getting me keys

The room was spacious and physically clean The shower was hot with great water pressure, and it did not leakThe not so good The room decor needs updating It is dark with the color choices The bathroom had exactly 2 towels, washclothes and hand towels Ladies if you require a second towel for your hair, you will need to request in advance The breakfast was free but nothing great If you want a more filling option, Bob Evan’s is next doorThe really bad The room odor This use to be a smoker roomor someone has been smoking despite the rules not to We could not even cover it up with room spray It has seeped into the furniture and the carpet There was a cigarette burn in the sheers The bedspread had torn seams The office chair was delaminating The room chair had cushion that sunk right down on the hard frame, so it felt as if a board was poking through giving the sitter a wedgie There was no charging station options on one side of the bed, which in this century just isn’t acceptableNot sure this stay was worth the value and I am a diamond member We had reservations for 2 weeks from now for another concert event I cancelled and rebooked into Ybor City

Breakfast was back to pre-pandemic and was pretty nice offering The room has been updated However, the cleanliness and service has something to be desired

Check in front desk was great but we messaged front desk at 12:13 asking for another wash cloth as there was only 1 in the room and never heard back even next morning or when we were sleeping I understand staffing but communication is key There is also mold in the shower on the ceiling and the shampoos Really needs detailed cleaning

Katelyn Valles

I had a good experience I think it would have been better if there was more storage space options like dressers or drawers to put your belongings inI also thought the breakfast was average

They had back order issues for oatmeal and the only fruit they had were apples They served scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, packages waffles, yogurt and have different juicesThe pillows were way too soft and they didn’t have an extra pillow stored anywhereEverything else was fine Service was good

Ward Dougherty

A nice place to stay in the North Tampa AreaThis is a Marriott Brand hotel There are 1118 of these hotels across 828 cities in the 50 states This particular hotel is a 5 story affair located off the southeast corner of the intersection of I-95 and East Fletcher Ave

It can be a little tricky to get to the entrance since it is located on a side road with only one entrance off that road sandwiched between a Bob Evans and an Extended Stay hotel There is not much that is within walking distance of the hotel but it seems a fairly quiet area There appears to be plenty of parking and a covered entrance The lobby is very small but the staff was friendly There is a breakfast area with complimentary coffee in the morning and a workout room The room was a semi-suite with a seating area and a bedroom separated by a wall with an open entrance The front portion of the room had the restroom by the front door and a pull-out bed And the bedroom area had a low set of drawers, 2 side tables, and a large tv Overall, it was a nice hotel at a reasonable price

Everyone here was super friendly It seemed important for the staff to ask how we were doing throughout the day and respect our wishes Rob at the front desk was helpful, friendly and very responsive to our needs

The room with 2 double beds was huge Hotel was clean and very dog friendly Distance to Busch Gardens couldn’t have been better at 5 miles Breakfast was amazing from waffles and bagels to cereal and fresh fruit Thanks for a great visit!

Jessica Foster

Our stay was nice Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable We were greeted with kindness as the same when we departed

We had traveled to visit my daughter who goes to USF When we got to the hotel we had brought a whole bunch of cheese for my daughter which we put into the mini fridge right away (We are from Wisconsin and live put cheese!) Unfortunately, when we left the next morning we forgot the cheese (totally our fault!), but called the hotel a couple hours later when we remembered The lady who answered was very nice and after several minutes of waiting on hold she notified us that our cheese was gone For real?! When cleaning a room you don’t see all this unopened cheese and think, huh, maybe they will come back? I can see if we called the next day expecting it, but it wasn’t even two hours later Very disappointing Hotel definitely gets a 4-5 stars, but housekeeping-1!

Katrina Whitehead

Everyone was super friendly and made you feel at home Made sure I had everything i needed for my stay and even went over and beyond I was there for training for work but also a little vacation since I had no kids

Definitely didn’t want to leave! Kudos to management and everyone who takes part in this hotel I will definitely be back real soon!! ❤️

Was a great little house and our stay was hassle free❣️😍 Stayed here with my husband and 3 small children, it was the perfect place to stay for checking out the Tampa Zoo It’s right down the street and can’t beat a full house for the price of most 1 room suites in townOnly recommendation is there was no cookie sheet so couldn’t make fries and nuggets had to be done in microwave

Boo hoo right? 🤣 All in all great stay will be back❣️

Sonja M. Dorsey

location was great, the owner is an amazing personthe house was definitely totally awesome very clean and spacious!! I enjoyed to privacy and the fact that the rooms were away from each other (I was traveling with an adolescent pre teen)! I loved the theme too wonderful presentation comfortable and cozy

I will definitely book again!!! for a longer stay next time

Let’s just say, the place was so awesome! The owner is amazing and the place is very well kept I loved the place so much that I stayed for two consecutive weeks while my own home goes through renovations The area is quiet and central to all your needs! Also, did I say the owner is awesome? Because I can’t leave a review without expressing how accommodating he was for me and my family! Hands up and down!! The best stay in town!!

One of the best experiences we have had at a Marriott location The rooms were very clean and the staff was outstanding From the front desk clerks to the breakfast lady

So nice and friendly We even had a woman (I am assuming the Manager) stop by our breakfast table and ask if we were enjoying our stay Now that is true hospitality Thank you all so very much

Kai Cheung

First impression of this hotel is that it is clean and neat The reception checked us in in a timely manner The room is a bit small but again they are clean, which is really important

The location of this hotel is far from the city center, it is like hidden in a quiet office distract i will say It may not be an ideal location for vacation, but it is definitely much more quiet and peaceful than some hotels closer to the city centerHowever, there were a few things needed to be aware of First of all, due to Covid, they do not have room service We need to go to the front desk to get towels and toilet paper during the stay And since no one came to clean up, we had collected piles of carry out boxes before we checked out I think they may collect the trash during the day somehow, but there wasn’t any clear instruction for us to followSecondly, the maintenance of their room wasn’t doing too well When we just walked in, we saw the air conditioner’s cover was on the floor, the hair conditioner dispenser malfunctioned and the toilet was leaking Actually I opened up the water tank and fixed it for them Also the hand sink in the bathroom has a very weak water pressure, the water just comes out very slow And the thing that bothered me the most was the leak behind the wall or above the ceiling We can clearly hear the water dripping non stop all day The annoying dripping noise is so noticeable especially during the quiet night

carol hamlin

We stayed here to attend a concert We had booked a king room We checked in early that morning online

It said king room When we arrived at the hotel the front desk girl was kinda short but not horrible She gave us our room, when we got to the room it was not a king 2 double beds We went back to say we were given the wrong room She said that’s what we booked We said no She basically called us liars We showed her the reservation which clearly said king Then she said something like they overbooked so we were automatically dropped to a lower room Our friends in front of us got a king and the people behind did As well We were treated horribly We had no choice but to take the room for the night We won’t be at that horrible place again Hire friendly staff

This was supposed to be a 1 star rating because it was supposed to be a 4 pm check in but they said they were backed up so our room was not ready until 6 pm Room was hot and AC temp stayed at 76 degrees for few hours The hotel was fully booked so there is no other rooms for us to switch to

On top of all that, we booked a king size bed room but we got a queen size bed I had 2 grown teenager kids with us Total 4 guests However, Leyla from the front desk turned the 1 star into a 4 star rating The whole situation from delayed check in to finding out the ac was not working properly to the wrong size bed given can throw any guests’ mood from good to bad After finding out Leyla was the only person working in the front desk, I didn’t want to complain anymore Working alone, she went above and beyond to get us a fan, gave us extra towels and bedsheets and didn’t give us any attitude Was apologetic and empathic of all the things that is going wrong I am a customer service supervisor I know what is good customer service She has exceeded my expectation in customer service The only reason I will ever come back to this hotel is because of a kind and attentive person like her Hotel mgmt, if you are reading this, please acknowledge what a blessing for your hotel to have an employee like her I will give her a raise and promotion for providing great customer service cause what she did is what all hotel industry needs in order for guests to return to stay at your hotel The reason why its not 5 stars is because you were very short on staff You can’t just have 1 staff member to handle the hotel She handled the check in, the issues we have with our reservation, the AC issue Plus I’m pretty sure other customers have requests too Sorry for the long review but want to say that your room was very clean too Good job on this too

Kelly Wentworth

Wow As a former Marriott Employee I expect a certain standard of customer service What happened? Went to check into our hotel and told it was cancelled by Orbitz(yes, so know I should book direct, but never had an issue) orbits tells us it is still active, so basically Marriott found a way to cancel a discounted room and refuse to walk us

I ask to speak to a manager and told there isn’t one on duty I tell her (Lydia) that it’s ridiculous to have no manager and that I needed her to call him, as I needed solutions, not just a so sorry as I have to kids in the car who are ready to be settled and get ready for bed an I just supposed to sleep in the parking lot Now, I was obvious angry, and used a very stern and loud voice, but no where near yelling Daniel the Manager tells the front desk to call the police Who, by the way, arrived while my child is going to the bathroomBy the way, I told Lydia that she should seriously consider working somewhere else, because she does not deserve to be thrown under the bus by her bossIf this is now Marriott, we won’t be returning, there is too much competition for that Likely, we will be making the 2 1/2 hour drive back home tonight, instead of spending the last of spring break with our kids, because every room is sold out right now

Robert Strunk

Hands down the nicest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered at a hotel (and I used to travel mon-thurs every week for work) Before I checked in I called ahead (because some of these reviews had me worried) and confirmed my reservation with Emily Emily was super nice and extremely helpful

I spoke with her on site also and she was just as helpful and nice While eating the complimentary breakfast, I found Jackie (hopefully spelled correctly) to be very helpful She went above and beyond to make sure my two young sons had waffles made just for them I found my room to be very clean I needed to extend my stay an extra day and the staff handled it with no issues at all The only negative thing I can say is that some lazy A-hole was smoking in his/her bathroom and the smell came out of the vents in my bathroom Not much the staff can do about it but it would be nice if there was some counter measures that could be taken with the ventilation system to prevent those types of issues

I use to travel to Tampa often for work I’m not sure how I found this place I think I was just looking for the best price in the area, on a short notice

I never expected a place this nice for the price I have never paid such a low cost and received such high value at a hotelThe property had obviously been renovated and revamped from a previous chain hotel, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a renovation of this sort so tastefully done The rooms have been converted into very relaxing resort spa-like living space Bamboo vibe is very cool Breakfast was surprisingly quality, with quality flatware and cloth napkinsBravo to the staff for such a top-shelf restyle to the place It’s been at least four years since I was there last, but If I’m Tampa anytime soon, I already know where I’m staying

Steadystackinent soliders

Hopefully advancement is coming soon …If your on a work trip… forget it NO WIFI ITS HORRIBLE We experienced a fire alarm 🚨 drill with no warning just disturbing! The side door is broken, I have to walk around or park far from my room just to get inside Never had a free breakfast that’s false advertising! The laundry room is a hit or miss

They have a cool staff I can say But if your planning a vacation no pool is here unfortunately! The owner should be more aware of guest needs and property issues it’s been a week, how does no one have WiFi for a week? Pay your bills Mr/Mrs! Hire more people or something keep the hallways clean it’s not a boutique it’s a basic hotel The area is perfect but the service needs more work I guess they never heard you have to spend money to make money cause it’s a fancy name with a cheap experience that’s a red flag

I cannot recommend the West Wing Hotel to anyone, and it definitely isn’t a “boutique hotel” I purchased a 4 night stay over Hotwire, and I thought I was getting a good deal as it was promoted as a 3 star boutique hotel Ha

Attempts have been made to upgrade its appearance to a more modern look at some point, but it’s an old motel for which a perfect analogy would be “you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear” It’s dingy, it’s full of mold, and service is poor For what you pay, you could certainly stay somewhere much, much nicer The first room given to us, we went straight back to the front desk because the mold was overpoweringly strong and my husband is very allergic to mold and mildew We were given another room that was marginally better; by the end of our stay, he was congested, coughing, and breaking out into rashes The room was dirty and wasn’t adequately stocked with linens When we asked the front desk for washcloths, we were told they were out of them Washcloths Not even towels Front desk staff was not friendly, and they told us that room service only comes when you’re ready to check out We visit Tampa a few times a year to see family, and we will never stay at The West Wing Hotel again

we booked this hotel because of the positive reviews but after getting there, it was just the opposite right when you walk in there is a musty smell that smacks you in the face- almost like cigarette smell the carpets are so old, and the atmosphere in general is just off

when we got to the room, same musty smell no towels in the bathroom, the water from the sink and the shower smelled so bad not to mention the disgusting couch! stains all over it and it was suppose to be a pull-out mattress after driving for 13 hours we were tired, so we ended up just spreading our blankets on the bed and left first thing in the morning i even woke up with a bite on the ankle would not recommend this place!!

Beds are clean and super comfortable, check in staff was very nice and helpful The hotel is run down and old, but you can tell they try very hard to keep up appearances It was quiet, and the room was cheap

If you’re just looking for a quick and affordable place to rest up before moving on, this is a decent choice Area is a little sketchy but there are restaurants and shops close by Glory Days across the street is an awesome spot with good food too

Honestly they saved me from a dreadful hotel experience at the sleep inn hotel on Busch garden When I called first not only did the front desk made sure I had a wheel chair accessible room they where able to make sure I got the best deal and they made sure to include that we are a military family This hotel went over and beyond to make sure our family got the best experience

Every issue I had was resolved and when I needed to extend a day in the hotel they went over and beyond to make sure we kept a wheel chair accessible room I would definitely recommend choosing this hotel compared to the other I will definitely continue using la Quinta Inn from here on for any vacation I had a very relaxing and wonderful experience We originally came for a wedding and my fathers doctors appt and till the day we left I have no complaints Very clean, Maids cleaned the room if you want new sheets or bedding when requestedJust a excellent experience with a happy family of 6!

I recently had a small house fire and needed a place for me and my cat to stay while my home was being repaired I tried an Airbnb but found it to be unsafe due to animal activity in the walls and flickering lights I was so happy to find a room at La Quinta Inn & Suites

I felt safe the moment I got there All of the staff, including front desk, housekeeping and maintenance, were friendly, kind and helpful When I needed anything they were very responsive My room was clean and the shower had good water pressure with plenty of very hot water The bed was comfortable and all the linens in the room were clean I never saw any bugs anywhere in the building It was quiet and peaceful with a view of a wooded area across from the building Thanks to all of you for making a difficult time a lot easier!

My mother stayed for 2+ months here at Hampton Inn & Suites It was home away from home The experience was phenomenal

The hotel staff was very accommodating The hotel was very clean and the cleaning staff ensured it stayed this way the entire time A very special thank you to Gina (hotel management) for going above and beyond for my mother! She was very kind, compassionate, and very professional throughout her stay If you are looking for a very nice, well-kept, quiet hotel with great staff, don’t look any further You won’t regret staying here!!!

This is me if the best Hampton Inns we have ever stayed in and we have been using them for over 15 years now’although the decor is dated and a bit worn, the staff maintains it very well The rooms are clean and the staff responsive if you have a special request

Breakfast is good I just wish they would get some healthier yogurt Would love some plain non or low-fat without all the sugar The lobby is comfortable and almost always has done guests relaxing there and talking to the friendly staff The pool is beautiful and crystal clear and inviting They offer a very good special rate for patients if the nearby Moffitt Cancer Hospital There is even a shuttle if you need a ride there Very compassionate If the decor was brighter and more updated, they would be 5 stars

This hotel is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in! The staff was kind, the room and the pool were clean, the facilities were extraordinary, the terrace garden was amazing! It was relaxing just to sit back at the terrace in the middle of green trees and flowers It makes you feel like you’re blending in the nature and escaping from modern life chaos a little bit The hotel and the rooms smell great from the cleaning but my linen had a blood stain on it

I worked in the hotel business for some time and I know that it’s impossible for some stains to come off, but at least they could have replaced it or put the stained side to the foot level, not the face level Again, I am sure that it was cleaned because of the great smell, that’s why I am still giving 5 stars It was a great stay for reasonable price Thank you to hotel staff!

Letty Torres

The pros were : check in process was great The person at front desk is definitely a great person, very knowledgeable The pool is nice and so are the facilities

Breakfast was great as well, it is available at a cost to you Person working that area was very friendlyCons: the bed is the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on, the door seemed to have paint chipped off on outsideas if some tried to pry it open The chair in room can use updating

Marie St. Louis

The location is perfect and I felt safe during my entire stay The bar and restaurant is right there in the hotel and that made things easy when it came to options The staff was friendly and if you report an issue they try their best to resolve your issue

I wish more was done for Hilton honors members but aside from that my experience at this hotel was a good one

The location was excellent, so many restaurants, shops, etc In the area Super friendly staff, free breakfast offered is one of the best Ive had , large variety of hot and cold items

There is also a little convenience type store down stairs by check-in desk which made out weekend stay even easier I could just grab a few drinks, snacks on way out or coming in and billed to room, which is always nice especially with kids to avoid the hassle making extra stops after a long day out and about Our room was very clean and beds were also very comfortable Highly recommended! Will be back on our next trip to Tampa
