The best hotel stay I’ve had in a long time! From check-in to check-out everything was wonderful! Every member of staff (front desk, maintenance, the woman who does breakfast) was extremely kind, helpful and welcoming! The linens were crazy soft, I didn’t want to get up! Both elevators were functional and very quick which is rare these days and so appreciated The rooms are very spacious and include a full size refrigerator/freezer, 4 person dining table, and full size sink There are so many great breakfast options-hot or cold

Plenty of parking even at night and well lit Even though the hotel is located right off a major interstate the sound of vehicles was never heard from inside the building10/10! Love this Home2Suites and will be back!

Rabig House

I am super close to giving 5 stars because I loved my stay here! We were greeted kindly, the room and hotel were clean, the amenities were outstanding and the patio was fun and relaxing Smoking was allowed on the patio and for me that’s a negative The laundry facility is expensive so that is a bummer

The bathroom is tiny But the staff were nice The fitness center was well stocked The cleaning service was thorough and timelyI will definitely stay here again!

Me and my 4 year old stayed 4 nights here and we LOVED it! My son ended up getting super sick for 24 hours and the staff was amazing, brought me clean towels, sheets and blankets several times within that 24 hours and they were always super friendly and helpful Never made me feel like I was asking for too much! (Because I know I probably was) The breakfast was awesome too, wide variety and I don’t usually like hotel coffee but the coffee was really good Definitely recommend this hotel!

We sold our house in March 2022, discovered Oasis RV Resort (Ron Hover RV Dealership) in La Marque, Texas We stay until we moved into our new place in Galveston in late July (4 Months) The resort has plenty of space to accommodate large rigs with ease It has a nice pool and is most of the time not crowded

It’s quite, clean, and safe The laundry room, and rest room is always clean and tidy Kim H, the manager is definitely the key element in making this resort worth it She is friendly, professional, and attentive to the needs of all staying there Weather visiting for a weekend or plan to stay awhile you won’t go wrong It’s 10 minutes from Galveston making it a great stop! Houston is just 30 miles to the North One last thing, one would think that an RV Resort and dealership might be unconventional, but we never noticed it even being there

I attended school at UTMB and stayed here in my parents travel trailer at Ron Hoover for about 16 months I moved in alone, far away from my family, and was 23, Kim was such a big help from when my outlet was leaking water to when something would happen and I felt unsafe She would be very easy to get in touch with and would keep the park updated with information like broken water lines due to the construction on 45

All the staff keeps a good eye on the park and those in it About 20 minutes if traffic is good to UTMB and about the same for the beach The park near by is a cool place to check out! Monthly rent is better than anything on the island Pretty quiet I had many night shifts and didn’t have a problem sleeping during the day (they usually cut grass on Tuesdays)

I moved my 5th wheel into Valerie’s park in June of 2019 and lived in my RV until last Saturday (4/2) My only reason was I purchased a boat to live on for the next year or soThe park (inc restroom, laundry room and grounds) was always clean and well kept

Valerie was always available for her guests/tenants and always greeted with a smile Although always friendly, she is a no nonsense owner and requires everyone respect her facility This attitude is what kept me satisfied with the park for 2 1/2 years and is also what makes the park so appealingShould I purchase another RV in the future to live in, I will call Valerie and hope she has a spot for meJack Munden

It’s a small quiet rv park, there’s a fishing spot, laundry mat, and showers you could use We stayed at this rv park for about 3 months, we stayed at spot B09 where the water is right out back Everyone we encountered were really nice

Unfortunately we will not be staying here again My husband’s work requires him to move wherever they send him at a drop of a hat, so we had mentioned that we could be moving soon to the park manager/owner(?) Valarie Ann so we started to pay weekly We were not made aware that in doing so it gives up your spot So she had booked someone in our spot and we had to move an early morning and waited for the people in our new spot to also move out We moved to the front of rv park that one of the neighbors stated “wasn’t a real spot” and they were right It was the worst spot but we decided to pay monthly which was over $500 a month in order to not go through losing our spot again The funny thing is work had us move out a week after we moved to the new spot As we’re getting everything packed up the manager drives up and says “you’re leaving after you made me go through all that?” Horrible people skills, we tried to contact the owner/ manager to see if we could pay for the week we had stayed and get some of our money back This was over a month ago, she never responded The park is fine the laundromat only has 4 washers, no change machine, while we were here only 2 machines worked because one of the machines was out of service and you couldn’t put change in the other one becuse it was too full and was never emptied You never see the owner, you can only reach her by text message The showers were disgustingly dirty, you could tell they were never cleaned We had a guest stay with us and they tried using the showers and we found a tampon on the floor which was never cleaned up There’s too many reeds to try and fish We’ll be staying next door at Galveston Bay next time

This park was one of our recent favorites It’s in a great location, the staff are really accommodating and it’s super clean We travel about three months every year in our RV so have seen a lot of parks in our time and were really impressed with the set up

The lot was big and we had plenty of space There’s lots to do in the area with Galveston just a short drive away, which is great for restaurants, shopping and historic house visits (one of my favorite things to do!) The facilities of the park were perfect for our needs and we would definitely recommend staying here for anyone visiting this area Thanks for a great stay!

Dixie Stone

We stayed in this park for almost a month and it had everything we needed It was a really affordable option compared to some others in the area, with plenty of room and some great amenities The bathrooms were really clean and the laundry on-site was a bonus

We are retired and travel full-time in the RV so these conveniences are a big draw card for us when looking for a place to stay We loved the location as it offered some great fishing spots and there was plenty to do in the area Kemah’s boardwalk was really lovely to stroll around, particularly at night The nearby restaurants were delicious and we ate plenty of seafood during our stay!

Great RV Park Near Two Railroad Museums! My husband and I love old trains and old train museums We’ve been plotting our way around Texas in our RV in a quest to visit all of the railroad museums in the state Bay RV Park was a gem with spacious sites, clean facilities and nice people

The site is about 15 minutes away from the Dickinson Railway Museum and 30 minutes from the Galveston Railroad Museum which was just perfect for us! Both museums were delightful and we even managed to take in some of the historic house tours on Galveston Island We planned for a two night stay and stayed for three – thanks for a welcoming base camp Bay RV Park!

*editing to add*A copy and pasted response to every negative review just further proves my point of the staff here not caring about their guests and how they’re treated We won’t be backI’d give a 0 if we could

Don’t recommend Gold member status Booked a first floor room because I am almost 8 months pregnant and was told that our room was “given away” and we are being put on the third floor After asking how we can be put on the first floor because that is what we reserved under for weeks we have been told to wait for just 5-10 minutes and there should be a room available for us after checking for someone to come and clean We are now being told there isn’t one because our room was “given away” After waiting in the lobby and hearing someone else ask for a first floor room, we asked again, only a different receptionist at the front, about our first floor room and she had no issues getting our room within seconds No one even needed to clean a room for us Don’t come here Your gold member status means nothing if they’re just going to give your reservation to someone else

1 There was no hand soup in the room, and we were asked to use the body wash which is attached to the wall in the shower2

No bedding was available for the trundle bed Called and asked front desk, they said they will bring one soon no body showed up or bothered to update us3 Terrible and cheap breakfast it feels that management is trying to cut cost by limiting the items provided the hot items come in in small quantities and people must stay in line and wait even the coffee was out and had to ask someone to refill Breakfast managed in an Extremely Poor and Cheap manner Bananas and most items finished halfway through breakfast time4 The hotel appear to be new but and the facility is nice, but it is disgusting how some management tries to cut cost

Collin Maki

You know, if it was not for the customer service I would had this a 1The place is ruin down and is not that wonderful I had 5 rooms and on one of them the door would not work when my team got back at 1 am

So they put them in another room till 6 amThe graveyard shift lady was a jerk and has poor communicationBut the manager took my phone call at 2 am and then took care of everything!! The other lady that was amazing was Trinity!! She works the swing shift 100% she made up for the lack of the place being updated Again, needs a lot of work but the staff cares and you can tell it starts with the management!!

I would not recommend this place to anyone!! It is not clean! Our bathroom was so nasty!! Mirror had toothpaste all over it , shower had hair in it and just nasty, floors dirty in corners, coffee pot had crumbs all in the tray!! Elevators need to be swept! Rugs need to be vacuumed! Someone needs to learn how to clean!!I complained to front desk about the bathroom and told them to clean it!! Come back and it still was NOT cleaned!!I have NEVER been to another holiday inn that was this dirty!!

It was a nice stay The employees were very friendly and explained everything we needed to know Room was very clean and I liked that you can’t hear the noise from the rooms next to you

My kids were making some noise and you couldn’t hear it from the outside We had full size fridge and that helped a lot! The coffee was great but it only makes 2 cups , so if you plan on staying longer please bring more coffee lol Other than that everything was great

Greg Weaver

The room was supposed to be a queen If it was it was very small Other than that it was ok

The front desk person Denny was very rude We showed up a little early and she actually said that she was to busy the night before and sitting there playing on her phone Never seen anyone so rude to there customer If I could have found another hotel I would have Never had such a horrible experience with candlewood Very disappointing
