I was driving through late a night Since I am a honors member Stopped request a room if available

A room was available $194 one person At 2am of the morning I said to the young lady It’s 2 am Do you think somebody is going to get that room at that price? Her response was Somebody might I would take the room for a lower price But I’m sure she didn’t have the authority to make a change like that I went across the street King size bed for $80

Marcia Echolas

Over priced for a town in the middle of nowhere, may have been the cleanest and safest in town even though it wasn’t very clean I was checked into a room with used bedding from the previous guests Urine all on the outside of the toilet

Got moved to another room and same issue, hair, dirt and food crumbs all in the bed The director wasn’t much of a director and played dumb founded probably because there only guests come from people passing through I was promised a phone call but never received one Best advice is, go to the next town over!!

100% recommendation Clean, quiet, and well maintained Front desk employees were friendly, helpful, and fast

Check in and check out was quick and easyWe stayed two nights while my mom moved; one night in a regular room and one night in a pet friendly room Both rooms were nice although there was a slight maintenance difference in the pet friendly room which makes perfect sense

Nicole Smith

These place was wonderful! As a military family we travel a lot and we have dogs One in a service animal and one is a pet Usually we end up in unclean places and subpar facilities

This place felt like an enchanted castle by comparison My kids and husband loved the pool The room was white glove clean The staff were very friendly and attentive The beds were like sleeping on clouds! Then the breakfast had a large variety and even that space was kept constantly clean We will definitely be back on our next drive through I only wish we could stay at a place this nice every time we travel

Comfortable, clean, and quiet I like how you can set a fan to run all night for white noise The blackout curtains are fantastic for keeping the room nice and dark

Sheets are soft and beds are comfortableBreakfast is good but I think it is unsanitary to set the serving tongs inside the food container on top of the food (this is how they set up the hot food items like the omelets) Very good coffeeThe pool is not heated, and the staff indicated that pool temperature is somehow related to outside temp It was 52 degrees the night of our stay and the pool was too cold for my kids – they would not even fully submerse themselves, much less burn off excess energy like I had hoped they would when I booked a hotel with a pool

Sarah Geissler

We have been staying here consistently for for 3 years now for trips between Tampa and Chicago, and my love for this place continues to growNothing beats a wholehearted, loving welcome, and that is what Kathy at the front desk gives us time and time again My golden retriever, Bohdi, absolutely loves her and is so comfortable here

Kathy saw our name on the reservation list and went out the night before to pick up special treats for him that she had ready for him when we walked in She also blocks off our favorite room at the end of hall for us so we can get outside easily The love and hospitality she has for her guests is truly above and beyond It’s what makes us excited for every visit and makes this place really special for us

Caidance Henninger

This hotel was amazing We had a fantastic experience with staff The room was very clean and no sign of bugs anywhere

The AC worked amazingly at keeping us ice cubes all night! When we asked for extra blankets, they gave them right away, not making us ask multiple times Overall this was a great experience and I definitely recommend staying here if you are traveling

Absolutely adored this place! Joyce is a first three letters of her name, joy! Stayed here for a few days for a birthday celebration Toured the distillery and explored a historically rich town Wonderful people through and through

The Bed & Breakfast was easy to get to, beautiful location, very clean rooms, well organized, breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were equipped with anything any one person or more could need to enjoy their stay I believe Joyce has truly covered all the bases! Oh, and the house was built in 1814! So cool! So, if you’re in search of an awesome place to stay, your search has ended If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would Thank you Lynchburg Valley Inn! 😀

Karl Sodergren

We very much enjoyed our stay The room and bed was very clean and comfortable The proprietor, Joyce, is a hoot and is happy to share stories and information about the town and is especially proud of the town dog, Buddy, who stops at her establishment regularly

Unfortunately, we missed him but maybe next time And the country breakfast was excellent too Our group of four played games on the good sized dining table before hitting the hay FYI – the town rolls up the roads early That’s Joyce in the pic

Jocelyn Quintanilla

My family stayed here for one night We thoroughly enjoyed our experience The house and property were beautiful and gave us a authentic “vintage” Lynchburg, TN feel

This haunted hotel is located in the downtown area of beautiful & historic Watrace, Tennessee The building was built in 1917 & is supposedly haunted by one of it’s first owners, a man named Floyd Carothers A World Champion Walking Horse named Strolling Jim is buried behind the hotel, also

The people in this area are so nicedefinitely loved visiting this place

Dan Coleman

Nice place Nothing haunted about it though – laugh I think that’s just part of the historical aspect of the place

Super awesome food and the owner, Joe Peters, is a very personable, never-meet-a-stranger, kind of guy He is super friendly with everyone he meets I’ve stayed in a room there on the second floor on several occasions and always have a pleasant experience The hotel is next to a train track and the trains run sometimes at night, which is very reminiscent of days gone by Overall – a great experience I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a very special get-away, or one where you can slow down, relax, and ponder, or write, or read, or just take a drive down memory lane and enjoy an experience of how things used to be God bless!

Overall, for the location you cant beat it if your looking for Lynchburg The room was hot, humid and smelled musty when we entered Had to run the AC for hours to make it more comfortable

What to expect as a “not the Ritz For the price, I could live with it, at half what any other place was 20+ minutes away The staff was friendly and helpful and I checked the bed nice linens and they were comfy mattresses

Jeremy Foxworth

Probably one of the sketchiest hotels I’ve been The sheets were dusted off not changed the bathroom floor was busted and had water coming from the cracks all the walls were so dirty you could barley tell what color they were Not sure if the floor was ever vacuumed

There were dogs fighting at our door one of them belongs to the owner Do not recommend this place at all

Tom Hill

The rooms are older but very well maintained The beds were especially nice and we were able to get a good night’s sleepThis would be a great place to stay while visiting Lynchburg,TN and the Jack Daniel’s Distillary

My advice would be to book well in advance if Lynchburg is having an event on the weekend as the number of rooms is limited
