Hotel needs a DEEP CLEAN!!! Like serious DEEP CLEAN!!! The staff was very kind but couldn’t resolve the TV remote issue After working on it for over an hour and 4 remotes later it still did not work Drove 5 hours and just wanted to relax when we arrived before heading out for the evening

The several asks to provide what I paid for in our room was never received I paid extra for the amenities that were not in the room when we arrived and never showed up Extremely frustrating! As well as the hot tub is NOT hot! Its like a small pool with jets What is the point?! This could be a wonderful place but the Hilton brand name did not hold up to the standards we expected upon arrival

Willy G

This Hotel really impressed us with how clean and well maintained is was The staff delivered superb service and made us fell welcome and at home The room was quiet, clean and well stocked

Beds were comfortable and the linens fresh The complimentary hot breakfast was good and the woman looking after the restaurant area made sure everything was perfect

*Not* travel healthcare worker approved Do not put your employees up hereThis place looks like it was once nice, but not any more

Checked into my room and checked the bedding like I do in every hotel I stay at and there were many hairs in the sheets, and random dried (not been washed) stains on the sheets and comforters The room smelled like gym shoes, and the couch had a large dark stain on the cushion Only reason I leave two stars is because the woman at the front desk who booked me a new room was very nice and helpful Continuing, the hallway carpets are atrocious I’ve seen cleaner motel carpets Heck I’ve even seen cleaner frat house carpets Checked into my new room and the bedding was clean but the bed skirt looked like a 5 year old tried to put it on, the couch was also stained, the kitchen sink smelled so bad I had to put the plug in it, and went to get a water glass out of the cabinet only to find that there was lipstick on both the glasses I selected I would have ran a load of dishes, but the dishwater was already full upon arrival There was also something that looked like blood on the door stop and toilet seat in the bathroom Didn’t even dare open the refrigerator out of dread of what I would find

Angela at the front desk was totally awesome leading up to & during our 2 night stay She was so pleasant, super helpful & professional, went above & beyond to make our stay there with my 95 year old mom as pleasant & stress-free as possible for my mom as well as us while we were there for our son’s wedding! In my travels, I’ve never experienced any staff at hotels as genuinely caring or providing such great customer care! Hope the management recognizes the jewel they have in this lady & gives her kudos AND a raise! The other front desk staff with her on 4/22 was also helpful when my son’s dog needed help

Other staff were friendlyHotel was clean & beds comfortable Place was well-run I highly recommend, Especially as long as Angela is there!!! 😊

David Hill

Stayed here for a wedding Our room didn’t have wash clothes and we had them bring some up to us The room also didn’t have regular coffee just decaf

Then we found that the coffee pot was broken and full of water They wanted us to come pickup the items but we refused and they brought them to us Staff was nice Housekeeping needs to do a better job at least in the room we had

I don’t write reviews often, but I felt I needed to in this case First of all, the entire staff was very friendly and very helpful However, Christine Robertson (the operations manager) was one of the nicest people I have ever interacted with period

She was always super nice and helpful and went out of her way to make us feel welcome Our room was clean and well stocked I absolutely have nothing bad to say about our experience Definitely recommend

Caryn W

Absolutely loved our stay here The staff was amazing! We had the wonderful Christine check us in and she made us feel so welcomed! She was an absolute joy! And the rest of the staff esp Charlie who did the hot breakfast was such a joy to talk to! The hot breakfast was so good! Our next visit into Tyler we will definitely be staying here! The service was outstanding! The rooms were clean and comfortable!! The facility was nicely maintainedAlso, I can’t thank them enough for their dedication and honesty to those of us who stay with them The young lady who services the rooms went over and beyond when I left my IPad in the room

We had checked out early in the morning and had a 7 hour drive ahead of us We had already traveled a few hours when we received a call from the hotel that I had left my iPad and holder in the room! Neither one of us had even known it was missing and probably would not have until we got home Thankfully we had family in the area that was able to pick it up for us I will never forget their honesty and integrity in dealing with my left items To the lady who services those rooms; thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Never take a great hotel for granted!!

Birdie

I looked at several hotels in the area and wanted one with a pool (my son was dying to go swimming) Several available hotels had pools, but what swayed me to book here were all of the reviews mentioning the cleanliness of this hotelWhen we arrived for our stay, the pool was down – completely drained and being worked on

This wasn’t mentioned on the site or I wouldn’t have booked here My son was super bummed out, but I figured at least the room will be clean which was my personal #1 concern Except it wasn’t There was change on the bathroom floor, so obviously that was never cleaned, as well as trash on the bedside table Desk was covered in stains, coffee makes was unplugged and I had to pull out the fridge to reach the plug and get it hooked back up, only to find the coffee maker was stickyPillows were lumpy and incredibly uncomfortable I’m sad that my experience was the opposite of so many reviews I usually do airbnb’s but as this was only a 1 night stay, I figured a hotel would do just fine Lesson learned

This hotel was good Went through check in no issues (I usually book with Priceline) Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable

As of right now they do serve breakfast which is a big plus in my book (Not those to go bags which are always awful) Also every morning house keeping will knock so make sure if you don’t want to be waken up early to put the “Do Not Disturb” sign

Jennifer Heitz

I have never experienced such bad customer service in my life I wasn’t in the room 1 full minute and they won’t refund my money Instead they call the police because they don’t do refunds once checked in even if it’s their mistake!!! Don’t stay here worst hotel I’ve ever been to

After complaining to corporate and trying to get my money back they said someone will be in touch with me in a week Pathetic Money hungry is it with these idiots

Lamar Bogany

Disgusting hotel I was given a room I didn’t book I requested 2 queen beds instead I received a king bed with a sleeper

I then went down to the front and they told me it was because I booked through a 3rd party which I didn’t I booked through their site She then proceeds to hand me a card and told me to send an email It was late and I have small children The following morning we discover what appears to be bed bugs in the bed The GM then told me I couldn’t get a refund because I stayed in the room I have filed a complaint with the Texas Health Department and disputed the charge with my bank I even sent photos of the bugs Please don’t stay here

The room was a nice size It was equipped with everything I needed On the day of arrival work in the main lobby was being done

However, it was very quiet during my stay They offered some frozen meals and treats to be purchased in the lobby area My microwave did not work in my room but the gentleman remedied my problem quickly I greatly appreciated that Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again down the road

Vpatton727

Excellent stay! The staff are all very kind and professional Brandy at the front desk became a friend that I still stay in touch with Every staff member was very accommodating from the front desk to housekeeping

The rooms all have kitchens with stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher Also fully stocked with dishes, cookware, paper towels and dishwashing detergentIf you’re not interested in cooking there is a wide variety of restaurants and shopping within a mileThe property and grounds were very well maintainedIt also has a BBQ grill and gazeboLaundry room is free to guests and nice work out facilitiesEverything was kept clean and tidy!I highly recommend for the price you can’t beat it!

Kristie D

The staff are fantastic and rooms are comfortably appointed The property is well kept Also allowed our dog to stay for an additional fee

Bonus is the walking trail nearbyThe one draw back for staying long term is that the rooms are always damp and have a strange smell I’d definitely return for a shorter stay

We were hosting a wedding in town and had a block of rooms booked We also used one of the meeting rooms as a hospitality suite The staff was amazing!! We had better and friendlier service than the last 5 star hotel I hosted an event at

Mary Ann, and front desk staff and cleaning crew bent over backwards to make sure everything was taken care of for our guests Thank you – well done Residence Inn Tyler!

Padre Cazo

The staff is wonderful The hotel is perfect for extended stays That said, how can you have bad internet connectivity in this day and age

What clown is running their IT/Facilities? Connections dropping and unreliable bandwidth made it impossible to work here If you can’t attend a video conference in this day from your hotel, the hotel is worthless Moving to a Hampton Inn they never fail me The kitchen was not worth it To bad

Kelsey Stacks

Gotta say with our current stay here due to insurance reasons, the room cleaning has been terrible with constant requests for several weeks (no vacuuming/sweeping, change of bed sheets, etc), on top of something smelling rotten/dead in the air vents, and the only people who seem to do their job are the cooks and the people at the front desk (I thank you so much if y’all are reading this) The complementary breakfast, gym, and pool have been nice, however the lack of care in everything else has deminished the enjoyment of the stay here

They have clean rooms Pets are welcome with a fee, but that’s okay, since the price is decentI called ahead and asked the night manager where we could park our U-Haul since we were moving

Without us asking he gave us a room where we could see our stuff (pretty much all we own)The coffee is good and always available in the lobbyI was very pleased as this was a necessary stop during our recent move

It was exactly what neededAfter we had driven 12-14 hours on this particular leg of our journey, we decided to finally stop for the night, instead of attempting to make it another 5 hoursComfortable, clean room with a HOT shower and great AC

Pet friendly as well, which was great for our 23# pooch Even the complementary breakfast that was scheduled to start at 6:00 am was ready at least 30 minutes early, so that we were able to get an earlier that expected start on the next leg of our tripThe very friendly and hospitable night staff were absolutely TOP NOTCHI would recommend this La Quinta location to everyone!

Laure Cameron

Excellent hotel for traveling with dogs: available fields on each side of the easy-access location Older hotel, well-maintained with soft water, excellent pressure, hot/hot showers, all amenities in room, and most comfortable bed ever experienced in hotels Front desk staffer Hope a dream-come-true for travelers

friendly, competent, super customer service Multiple food and shopping services available within walking distance Hot breakfast back in business

Kate Hoey

Overall very meh Served my basic needs as a hotel, clean bed to sleep in with bathroom facilities Mostly friendly front desk staff other than the white-haired lady who talked on the phone constantly, even through my need for help with my room key

Pet friendly even for large breeds (Great Dane) Otherwise, it smelled very musty the moment you walk in, my room was very humid and never felt quite cool, I found sunglasses and a damp towel in my bathroom when I checked in, the floor in my room was sticky, the furniture is damaged and the walls in my room needed repair, the bathroom handicap bar was dangerously loose, and the breakfast was somewhat sad Wouldn’t recommend but not the worst hotel stay of my life

Amazing extended stay hotel! I’ve been here for a few months now and it’s been great The staff are helpful and so nice They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome

They’ve been renovating the entire hotel while I’ve been here and it hasn’t been an inconvenience or disturbance at all There’s a large and awesome hot breakfast served every morning and 3 nights a week they serve dinner and drinks Nice small indoor pool Love the courtyard Several seating areas, fireplace and even have grills for you cookout I highly recommend this hotel

Tina Camille Higgins

Stayed here for my daughters dance competition Very clean and nice Indoor pool, daughter jumped in and got right out, very cold haha

Booked room over the phone, needed 2 beds, agent said none available but the sofa pulled out Not true None of them do but I was able to get a room with 2 beds anyways Basically it’s like a little apartment Never been in one that had a full kitchen and beds in a different room Beds were insanely soft

I wish I had noticed the name of the man who checked us in He was *amazing*

very efficient, very friendly and very service oriented He remembered me from when I had called earlier to let them know we would be checking in late I didn’t reserve the room I thought I reserved so he helped me get the room I needed to fit myself and my daughters All the employees I interacted with were great! The room was well appointed, clean and spacious and we enjoyed the Dove brand soaps/shampoos The common areas were all clean and smelled goodThe pool area is clean and gorgeousThe only negative comment I’d make is that the breakfast area was extremely cramped It was very, very busy and they had a whole area in the dining room roped off where no one could sit

Consuelo Garner

This hotel is GREAT! They really go out of their way to make sure you have a very good stay The location is perfect with many good restaurants close by The breakfast they offer is very complete and delicious

The pool area is very nice We would stay there every time Elvira in house keeping is really nice and very fast in helping us Love it!!

Jeff Chua

The meeting hall cost $500 but is consumable- meaning you can deduct the cost of food, find, others from it It does come with a 21% service charge plus taxes but I think it was worth it One meeting hall can sit around 50 people or 25 people of you have tables

We booked 2 meeting halls for 150 people for a church service Place was clean, ac was cold and area was quiet Food was also great One drawback was that it’s driveway was a bit tricky Make a wrong turn and you end up in the neighboring Best Western Also, when we had our booking, they were putting in stone papers at the entrance at the time so it kind of looked like a bit of a disaster Krystle McGee was the booking manager we transacted with and she was very nice and professional

Now this is the hotel to stay at I called a couple hours ahead they said they had availability so it was my fault I did not make a reservation When I got there(2am) they were full but had a no show and put up in there

Discounted the price to my expectations and gave us drinks for the inconvenience Immaculate room Not a spec of dust, stain, or even a scratch on anything Clean smell, good ac Clean windows etc Staff were some of the most pleasant people I’ve met in my life It will be an experience we will remember forever Danny went above and beyond with his services He stayed after he clocked out just to chat and I even saw him in Walmart and he still had the same smile Truly amazing people GIVE DANNY A RAISE

GEORGE TORRES

The hotel’s location is close to amenities and right next to a walking/jogging trail The staff was very courteous, and helpful In general the hotel was very clean, modern, has a fitness gym that has all machines working, a clean pool, and serves dinner and breakfast at very reasonable prices that actually is better than places to eat outside the hotel

There was a covered parking at the edge of the hotel which was unique from all hotels I’ve stayed in The lobby is very relaxful and inviting too Definitely a great place to stay while in Tyler, Texas

Ari Baird

Our stay was excellent because of Tamecia My family came in from all across the country for the funerals of my great aunt and my grandmother and the amount of empathy she showed our entire family was heartwarming She welcomed us to the lobby every morning, was so kind to my kids, and made us feel like she was welcoming us into her own home

In a world where customer service is so hit or miss, I was wowed by her every single day She was off one of the days we stayed and we missed her presence in the lobbyThe hotel itself was great Beds were comfy Rooms were spacious There is also a great trail behind the hotel with love lock bridges If we ever came to Tyler again, we’d stay there A huge thank you to Tamecia for being so kind and genuine
