If you’re looking for luxury, this place is NOT it I reserved a suite for 12 nights and had to check out after the second day The rooms are dark and dismal

Small windows facing a brick wall, letting in very little sunlight I feel like I’m in someone’s basement The rooms are drab and the decor is old and outdated My blinds were half broken and the dishwasher is literally one push away from completely falling apart Nothing here is modern The only luxurious thing about this suite is that it has hot water and A/C Oh yeah and it’s within walking distance of a lot of places

Ras Pamoja Tutashinda El

What a disaster Luxury includes 20 min wait for towels and linen only to find out and not being told that there is no hot water in the entire building A promise that hot water might be Available at checkout

an unannounced 150 hold on your credit card NEVER AGAIN AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE 4pm checkin and an 11am checkout The only thing they would offer is sorry No stars if that was an option We traveled to DC in 97 degree weather did some sight seeing only to return back to the luxury suites with no water? Sad thing is they were still checking people in knowing there is no hot water

Momina Shafiq

Pros: Thre location is pretty central DC, its qalkimg distance to alot of places, the bus stand is at a 3ins walk as well Love that a CVS is literally right at the back of the buildingComing to the suites, the size is amazing, 1 bedroom, a good size tv lounge attached kicthen which have all the basic suppliesCons: i wish they had a washing machine in the suite as well or in the building

However ghe closest laundrette is 12 mins walking distanceIts super loud early in the morning from traffic noise to people talking loudly on the road, you can hear everything in this apartment, this used ro disrupt my sleep

Me and family booked a night here from out of state Family of 4 with the king suite and pull out couch First off the pool doesn’t exist so don’t pack bathing suits nor believe the pictures

We were told it had been out of use for 6 years In our room on the south tower side we had no air and not to mention we had two toddlers with us So it wasn’t pleasant nor did I sleep good Parking is ridiculous being $42 a night but I guess your car stays safe right…? The breakfast that we paid for with our reservation was okay not the best breakfast I’ve had and it kind of bothered my family because waiters tried serving us when we didn’t want to be served and bothered us while eating wanting a tip…when our food was paid for…and it’s a buffet The pull out couch for my oldest toddler was mediocre outdated kinda feeling I will have to say it was clean more than other hotels I’ve been to so I give it that and it was close to a lot of attractions That’s about it!

My daughter was graduating from college in the area so I booked a room here Upon booking the room, I asked was there a pool and was told yes there is an indoor pool On the website, it states there’s a microwave and refrigerator in the room

Upon arrival, there was only a refrigerator but no microwave My granddaughter wanted to go to the pool so after her, my niece and nephew got dressed, we called the front desk to inquire about the location of the pool and was told that there hadn’t been a pool in the past 5 years I had an event to attend with my daughter so I made a call to the hotel while I was out to ask about the microwave that was suppose to be in the room and was told they would bring me one Upon returning to the room (picture provided) this is what I was provided It looks as if they pulled it out of an employee lounge or something with dents all over it The 2nd night the cable went out and did not come back on (pictures provided) I called the front desk and was told that they had called for repair For taxes and fees, I was charged the same amount as another night of stay ($466 for 2 nights) (pictures of room provided)I had family in another room, which they did not have any air conditioning The hotel did have it repaired which worked for a few hours then went back out, however they did have cable the entire stayNot 1 time did I receive an apology for any of the inconveniences from this hotel staff I attempted one more time to address all of the inconveniences upon check out At that time they offered to comp my parking which I didn’t have a car there, so I asked that they comp my family with the room that had no air conditioning They did do that for themThe staff acted as if all issues happen on a regular basis as they are quick to respond without checking any of it outI would never stay at another Double Tree anything I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances

The service at this hotel was great and the staff was really friendly The rooms though

they really need to be updated Our bathroom mirror was broken all along the edges – which is a hazard – and the “King” bed in our suite was definitely a Queen Our shower didn’t drain properly, and since there is no daily housekeeping, that meant we needed to clean our own tub Good thing I had my Clorox wipesbut I didn’t pay the nightly fees to clean my own tub in a hotel suite Yes, maybe I could’ve switched rooms but who wants to do that after dragging your luggage to your room and unpacking? The A/C was questionable – you had to turn it down to the mid 60s to get the air up-to-par Note: this is coming from someone who typically likes the room in the 70sIf you don’t care about any of the above and you need a hotel in a great location, then by all meansknock yourself out

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itI had a fantastic stay at the Residence Inn in DC/Capitol I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and amenities in the rooms The ladies at the front desk were very kind and extremely helpful They explained everything amazingly and made our stay very enjoyable! The hotel was within walking distance from the main attractions I highly recommend this location and will return to this location in the future

A good place to stay at for a while The rooms are perfect; everything from a pull out couch to a stove, very high speed internet, great views, and more The employees were very nice also

There is free breakfast, but there are not a ton of options It was good though The location in Washington I personally wasn’t a fan of A pro could be that it was very close to the subway, but a con would be that just walking to blocks the wrong way and you can be in a shady area Overall, this Residence Inn was a great experience

Worst hostel I’ve stayed in so far Whole place smells like sweat because of the “no shoes” rule which is clearly only there so they can save money on cleaning Rooms are clean and the beds are fine, but our room had a neon red bright exit sign that couldn’t be turned off and lit up the room at night

Also, one bathroom for the whole floor, really? Would’ve rather spent a little extra and got a hotel roomThe hostel doesn’t exactly encourage socializing either All the people we met were great, but the only nice common area (rooftop) closes way too early and the rest of the common areas are sweltering hot due to the lack of AC Also, no drinking after 10pm apparently Can’t even enjoy a beer in the heatThe only positive is the location, which really is good Walking distance to most of the good places in DC and right next to a grocery store Honestly the location is the only reaons this review has two stars and not oneOverall, I expected more from a hostel in the nation’s capital

Aidan Garrity

The location and staff are excellent The included breakfast is nice, even if it’s just pancakes Rooftop patio area great for relaxing and chatting

The hostel has a good social atmosphere Parking is a bit pricey since it’s downtown, but most people visiting this hostel are from overseas so it doesn’t matter as much Would stay here again when visiting DC

Nicholas Daniel

Great stay for my first time at a hostel The staff are very friendly and helpful, and willing to give recommendations for food in the area The free pancakes every morning were great

All the facilities were kept clean The hostel is well located near many attractions The only real complaint was that the wifi was slow but with 20+ people there that is to be expected

This will be a mixed review The hotel two queen beds and room was very large and liked having the small kitchen type area With a couch, chair and end tables and coffee table, with the two queens was very nice

The bathroom didn’t have a door separating the preparation room from the rest of the bedroom area, this would have made it easier to get dressed without disturbing others sleeping In the morning, got up to use the work out area and there were only two towels and the workout area needed a thorough wipe down There were sweat marks on the equipment I went and informed front desk twice that towels were needed and the next day they still weren’t there; and the women working out said they had to go to the front desk to get towels and the old towels from yesterday were still there I again informed the front desk of the missing towels I left that day so I don’t know if the area was every wiped down or towels finally delivered As for the breakfast, they definitely watered it down too much Both days the oatmeal was more like soup I tried one day but just couldn’t do it the second day There was just too much water and using plastic spoons, it was hopeless As for the eggs, they were tasteless and again I think they “watered” down these too with something that was just too much I didn’t try the meat, but it looked fine And they had waffles which ran out of strawberry flavored mix and regular constantly The cereals were very boring, no sugar cereals, only the cheapest ones supplied They did have muffins, toast and bagels available and juice and milk Someone spilled their food on the floor and I mentioned to front desk, they picked it up but did not clean the floor The next day a liquid was on the floor and that also was not cleaned up Not pleased with the selection or the hotel in general and have stayed at many Hampton Inns A little more care in cleaning would be better

When I reserved to stay here, I really had low expectations due to the location near Loop I495 The hotel far exceeded my expectations and we had a great stay Parking was kind of congested, but we found spot close enough to the entrance

Our room was very nice and spacious The only knock of the room was the location of the TV, which faced a wall and the bathroom areahowever, it swiveled so that wasn’t a deal breaker The best surprise was the breakfast buffet 😋 We were treated to cheesy eggs, sausage and self serve Waffles (regular and blue berry) our first morning, and the next day was eggs, link sausage, fried potatoes and self serve Waffles (regular and chocolate) There was also plenty of coffee, juices, and other items available They also had a very large dining area which made finding a table and comfortable seating very easyThe location was perfect for access to the highways and very close to the subway stations and surrounding restaurants It was also only minutes away from the airport, so it made arriving to our departing flight very easy We would definitely stay here again when we travel to the DC/Virginia/Maryland area for a future visit

This is a mixed reviewStaff can make and break hotels Everyone I interacted with was polite and wanted to make things better

I appreciate that and I complement the staff for trying every time I brought concerns to them I saw several times the front desk staff dealing with situations with guests that could have spiraled out of control, but were handled with good grace and attitudeWith that, we had room maintenance issues First night we had a grinding noise from the a/c that caused a sleepless night We reported this and it was looked at, but not resolved We reported it again, and the a/c was replaced We also had water backup issues in both the tub and the sink, which we reported, but was not resolved I’ve never in almost 20 years had to report maintenance issues every day of my stayOtherwise, the amenities and location were great We enjoyed the outdoor pool, and the breakfast area was busy but well stocked and good- Edit -The general manager reply below indicated there was a private communication to me, and called me by the incorrect name No one from Hilton or the general manager to this point have reached out to me, and I have not been offered any compensation- Edit #2 -Hilton indicated that the GM had reached out to me and that has not happened to date I have left 2 voicemails to the general manager with no callback- Edit #3 -GM finally reached out and offered a credit Still haven’t seen this on my statement yet- Edit #4 -Finally received a credit on my account Hilton also reached out to me as well for the amount of time that it took me to resolve this

We were given a warm greeting every time we came in, this was true of every employee we encountered Our plane was delayed and we didn’t arrive until 2:30am, we were expected and welcomed It’s a dog friendly hotel and I almost cancelled because every dog friendly place I’ve ever stayed is grubby

You would never know they have doggy guest unless you see one The outside tables were such a nice place to just relax The rooms were large, comfortable and exceptionally clean The location is convenient, we had no need for a car I would absolutely stay there again

Shelby

Room was amazing and a quick walk to the Foggy Bottom Metro Station I spent weeks looking for the perfect hotel and found this place at the last minute and I am so glad that I did My family of 4 which included to younger kids stayed in the Potomac One-Bedroom Double Suite was perfect for us

As it had a separate bedroom, a living space, and a kitchen with a full size fridge and freezer, microwave, and two small stove tops The kitchen came stocked with utensils and dishes I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking

D F

We stayed in the suite The rooms were very clean and comfortable We could have used extra blankets, but by the time we noticed it was late and didn’t want to wait for the front desk / housekeeping so we didn’t ask

The inn is a short 15 minute walk to the Lincoln Memorial and other sites The staff was very helpful and friendly We would definitely stay here again

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff Excellent breakfast buffet, quiet The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in

The negatives: No maid service- had to request towels and empty garbage bins at the desk- but they did respond quickly The parking prices are crazy You’re paying decent money to stay there, they need to adjust the parking fees to cut the cost atleast in half I would definitely stay there again

Margaret Perara

The staff here are wonderful (shout outs to Mr Larry and Adrian which accommodated are late evening requests) I stayed here for two nights 1st, before my outbound flight and another the evening of my return The bed was SO comfortable I did not want to get out of it to catch my flight

On my second stay, I was able to partake and enjoy the complimentary breakfast They were out of orange juice (but I chalked that up as a supply issue, sometimes those things cannot be helped) Meharite very much made up for it with her personality, and replenishment of everything else The breakfast had a nice variety to choose from: oatmeal, with several different toppings, eggs, sausage, etc, bagels, toast, cream cheese, jellies, and a very popular coffee crumb cake, fresh fruit, coffee, hot water for teas, and apple and cranberry juicesCheck-in and out was super simple and the shuttle was nice to take to and from the airport They also have a shuttle to and from the metro, which I may be using on my next stay,The only reason for the 4-rating is because the room, on our second night’s stay had an odor to it that could possibly have come from new bedding or a reused rag for cleaning Either way, we called down for and received fresh bedding and Chris was very receptive to my letting him know the next dayI recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

Rajagopalan Viswanathan

I am a great fan of Marriott hotels because of their standard beds & Pillows and service I always chose to book in a Marriott hotel to stay overnight to have comfortable sleep to get refreshed for the next dayI traveled with my family and booked Studio; 2 King in “Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Capital View”

It’s not worth the money The quality of the Bed & Pillows is not up to Marriott’s standards A/C is a disaster, it was installed right on the top of the bed’s headboard and the A/C vent airflow was right in my face I had a tough time getting sleep that night The bathroom looks 20 years old and needs to be renovated; Breakfast was ok On top of $200+ tax /day room, parking fees are additional, Self-parking is $37 & Valet is $42Overall, $270 for an overnight stay with these standards, is not worth the money For Arlington stay, I don’t recommend this hotel, rather book some other hotels (Other brands) that provide better comfort and service for half of this price

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a resort This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in the area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t regret itConvenient location, fairly close to the Smithsonian museums and national mallThe 2 queen bed (and sofa bed) room is perfect for families Service is fast and friendlyBreakfast is a bit basic but is included in your room fee which is a major plusMost of the unique amenities are closed in the cooler seasons and parking is a little pricey ($50/day) but otherwise it is a well equipped hotel

Ryan Yturriaga

Pros: Great clean rooms, access to the national mall, relatively a good part of the neighborhood Room service everyday The swimming pool is a little small for the building, and no matter how hot it gets (summer) the water is ice-cold

The room service staff are friendly and very accommodatingCons: (why the 2 stars) – it a hit or miss with the staffing Their breakfast times are 6AM-9AM so really short compared to other chain hotels If you are from the west coast, chances are you will miss the breakfast Here’s the kicker, the waitress literally swipe the food in front of us at 0905AM – instead of closing off the section, we are left just scrambling to get whatever we can get thanks to that very admirable waitress (05-31-2022 – mornings) It left a really bad taste for the 4 people left on the line without consideration at allI save about $5000 a night from Embassy Suites, but this kind of service is not worth it Consider somewhere else

Nichole Raybould

The staff is the most UNFRIENDLY I have ever experienced at a hotel We booked and prepaid for 3 nights through a 3rd party and I called the hotel the day before we were to check in to verify we were confirmed with our room as were to drive 6+ hours the following day It took 2 people on the phone and 45 minutes to “find” my reservation in their system even though we had prepaid for the room in order to get a cheaper rate

Finally they found it and said I was good to go Great We arrive the next day to check in and AGAIN, they cannot find my reservation It took 2 people and ANOTHER 45 minutes to “find” our reservation in their system They were incredibly unfriendly about it too Almost like they were waiting for us to get fed up and leave Finally, magically, it appeared and we’re good to go again With 1 night left in our stay we get a phone call from the front desk saying that we were supposed to only stay 2 nights We inform them, no, we paid for 3 nights It says right here on our confirmation and when we checked in we confirmed it was 3 nights They threatened to call the police on us because we told them we would not check out early They put my husband on hold and never came back on So in the meantime, I called the 3rd party company we booked it through and asked them to contact the hotel and confirm that yes, indeed, we paid for 3 nights My husband got tired of sitting on hold and went downstairs to the front desk to confront them in person By the time he got down there it was all “magically” fixed No apology No accommodation, nothing SO RUDE I’m being gracious in giving them 1 star but only because the room itself was fine and the free breakfast was good But we will never stay here again I have never had a worse experience with a hotel

Wonderful stay with excellent location and phenomenal staff Breakfast was more than adequate to get my family onto our adventures for the day Spacious rooms

I’ve stayed in various areas of DC on 6 trips, and this has by far been my favorite Close to everything, in a very safe and charming neighborhood Close to the big city feel, but lovely homes adorned with gardens, plenty of restaurants, etc I will return to this location exclusively moving forward- it’s perfect!

Briana Cooper

It was a very nice hotel and very clean It was in a great area as well We were able to walk to all the monuments and everything else we wanted to do

It wasn’t super busy and the staff is so nice and friendly The breakfast is a few you have to pay on top of the hotel room fee and you can’t opt out of it It’s $25 a day so that wasn’t as ideal because the breakfast was not worth that at all The breakfast is also in the next building over so you have to leave the hotel to go to that building to get the breakfast But other than that we loved staying here and will totally recommend

Emanon Jones

Great hotel, very clean Friendly staff and complimentary snacks and water/juice was nice in the morning and happy hour is nice as well Nice to offer breakfast too! Very close to everything and it was a nice walk from Union Station if you are catching the train or bus in/out of Washington

Spent three great days here The hotel is located close to nice restaurant for lunch or dinner so you didn’t have to travel to the Downtown area

Very quick and easy check in The digital process is genius for those who are tech savvy enough The older crowd would probably still prefer normal front desk check in

I did not understand why there weren’t any trash bags in the receptacles that were provided in the rooms The room appeared clean and presentable Didn’t interact with any team members except at breakfast on Sunday morning The lady keeping the food stocked did a great job considering there were large groups of people there Sausage was not thoroughly cooked though Would have liked an additional meat alternative like bacon or ham Overall good experience though they location posts challenges for charter buses with large groups I would stay there again for a little less price though Double bed though not Queens

I always stay at Hilton hotels The standards are always very high with the Hilton brand This location did not disappoint

All of the staff was very nice, the hotel was very clean, and the location was perfect Frank at the front desk is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life His personality is very uplifting, he has this positive energy about him that is like no one I have ever met before I will definitely stay at this property again and will highly recommend it to all of my friends and family

When we arrived at the hotel, the entire lobby was torn up being remodeled This included the breakfast area They had breakfast set up at the Holiday Inn next door, but the communication on where exactly this was, the hours, etc

was extremely poor On the morning we checked out, the elevators down to the lobby were being inspected There were no signs on the elevator buttons in the lobby or on any of the floors After a few minutes of standing there pressing the button and nothing happening, we gave up and carried our suitcases down 6 flights of stairs During the checkout timeframe seems like a really bad time to not have the elevators accessible to guests Thankfully we were able-bodied enough to carry our luggage down the stairs The room itself was nice and updatedI understand that this is all a necessary part of remodeling, but there was no note of these inconveniences on the website when we booked and I’m not sure if the room rates reflected this The biggest complaint we had was the lack of communication surrounding these temporary changes If we would have known about the remodeling in advance, if we had been informed of the changes to the breakfast, and if there were signs posted on the elevators informing us of the inspections going on that made them unusable, it would have eased a lot of frustration

Stayed here for 2 nights Check-in experience was wonderful as Robert was friendly, welcoming, informative and professional But the check-out experience was Dana was the complete opposite

Felt as if she shouldn’t be in the hospitality trade as she was the complete opposite of what hospitality and service should represent Even prior to checking out, when we walked into the hotel during our stay and said “hello” she didn’t respond nor smile The experiences we remember when we leave is how people make us feel during our stay and due to her, we will not stay there againWe had 2 rooms and both had cleanliness issues The hotel surely needs some upgrading as it seems agedThe hotel is conveniently located and the room had complimentary water, a mini fridge and a microwave The bathroom amenities also included a mouthwashA huge thanks to Robert for being pleasant and courteous Your professionalism and courtesy was appreciated by everyone in our groupThere are quite a few other hotels around this area We will surely stay at one of those next time we visit as our overall experience was below average

Convenient location and friendly staff However, our rooms were given away when we arrived Then, we were given room keys for an already occupied room (apologies to the people we woke up)

The room we finally got into was musty and had several power outlets nonfunctional I expect better for over $200 per night Ironing board and two luggage stands were handy Bath&Body Works amenities were nice I appreciate that room service only comes upon request

Could tell it was recently renovated and that some things had been rushed Beds were clean and rooms were fairly clean as well Staff were all very friendly and helpful! The pool area on the roof was beautiful, got some amazing sunset pictures from up there! My only complaint was that the parking garage was very poorly laid out

It had super tight corners, a single lane, and very narrow parking spots We drove a minivan and almost got stuck in the ramp because we couldn’t make a turn When we did park, the parking spot was the exact size of the vehicle leaving almost no room to open doors Very nerve wracking $47/night seemed like a lot for such a terrible rampBesides the ramp, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again (just maybe with a different car or no car at all 😂)

The location is good for tourists if you don’t mind the short walk to the transit station We walked in in daylight and at night with no safety concernsThe hotel itself was undergoing some renovations while we were there

The breakfast area was closed, but it had been moved to the adjoining Garden Inn It was typical Hampton Inn breakfast which is never anything to write home aboutOur room appeared to be recently renovated and was very nice/clean It was not the king bed room I reserved, but we sleep on a queen at home, so no big dealThe staff was very friendly and the shuttle to Reagan Airport was reasonably quick when we called for it They will also check your bags in the hotel if you arrive early or are departing later in the afternoon We found this to be helpful an prevented an early check in charge

We had a great experience with this hotel Our stay was short due to a layover at the airport We got in late, but the shuttle still picked us up

The front desk staff were very nice and accommodated us well This was nice because we had been in airports all day and were very tired We left early that morning and the shuttle didn’t miss a beat in getting us back to the airport on time Great job!

The hotel location was amazing and super close to a lot of DC attractions But was disappointed to find out there was no housekeeping included I was there for three nights and needed housekeeping but not included

Also there is no pool or complimentary breakfast Just a gym Otherwise hotel was clean but in my opinion not worth it for the price Wish I knew about all of this before I booked, I would’ve bought a better hotel for $500 Also hotel parking is $33 a night Ridiculous

Hotel was in a good location with wonderful service Main entrance doors locked at night the lot across the street only charged $30 for overnight parking instead of the $50 the hotel charges

Poor wifi however, and the shower door kept sliding open while in the shower Also, even though we noted that 4 will be staying, we were given a room for 2: toiletries, towels, no sheets for the sleeper couch, silverware and plates and cups… they do have good service though and although it took a few calls, everyone was very friendly and helpful

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay The hotel is renovated and looks very nice The main lobby area looks very fancy 🙂 which I appreciated

The parking is pricey, $28/night! yikes! There is available parking in front of the building but only up to 2 hours for less than $6 However, after 8pm during the weekday and on weekends you can park on the street at no charge No breakfast which is unfortunate, but a quick comparison shows that the surrounding hotels operate the same The staff is great! Everyone is very nice and they greet you right at the door The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable There was no turn down service :(, we stayed for 3 nights and 2 days, and I am pretty sure there is a cleaning fee Overall, I recommend Sonesta!

We had an urgent medical situation arise with our daughter who was medically transported to Georgetown Hospital from our home state in which we needed a safe and clean place to stay for an extended period (3 weeks)We sincerely cannot praise all the staff and establishment enough! Their professionalism and kindness towards our family is and was greatly appreciated We will be returning there for each medical visit that is scheduled in the future that’s for sure

Kudo’s to all for a job well done!

Great choice for a last minute stay Furniture and bed were starting feel a bit dated/worn and the bathroom was a bit cramped But the space in the room made up for some of that and the staff welcomed us warmly

They had some interesting pamphlets/brochures that weren’t just your typical Washington DC tourist activities as well and the lobby/cafe space was gorgeous!

Perfect for a short stay with a small party of people The atmosphere is warm, fun, cozy, and comfortable I LOVE the decor

The Hive exemplifies efficient use of space, and accommodations are readily available Carlos was a big help for us and went above and beyond expectations, bringing us a compact mini fridge directly to our room to keep some leftovers in when we asked if we could store our food anywhere The bar has a lovely atmosphere and the drinks are top notch The bartender we had was awesome and I wish I got her name I intend to stay here any time I visit DC because I loved everything about it Can’t recommend it enough!

I love this place! Amazing hospitality from all staff, friendly and helpful at all hours The pizza is amazing, I think I had it daily during my stay The downstairs bar is small and chill and a great place to relax, I even got some work done there

The room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed Im very picky about hotel toiletries and I really liked these and actually used them I love the whole vibe of this place, especially the paintings in the elevator shaft Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in DC!

Super cool hotel! Very close to a metro stop, and walking distance to several tourists spots The hotel is beautiful, I loved all the little bee themed details, and the room was the perfect size for a quick trip to DC! Also the parking garage they recommend is super easy to work with and a really short walk away The only down side is the bed was REALLY firm

Like if you’d told me it was a cardboard box with a mattress topper I’d believe you

Everything was very clean The beds were comfy, and you were about a block or two from just about everything Everyone was very friendly and nice

I enjoyed watching the fireworks from the balcony I felt very secure in the building, and safe I was a little confused at first with how to enter the code to the main door I figured it out, but maybe a small informational guide would be nice I loved my stay here, and I would totally come back here the next time that I am in DC There was a little garden in the alley way behind the hostel that was quite pretty to view as well

Lance Russo

Let me start by saying I’ve stayed here in the past in my travels and loved it I’m also not aware if owner knows how his guests gets lied to by staff They canceled my reservations and charged my card ( they still have gave my money back

) All because they thought I was homeless I was embarrassed I live in Jersey and have a home there I love the artistic vibe here in DC and loving community I even joined a local non profit group there temperance alley because the community is wonderful For when I visit Just cause a man travels and has mental disorders like myself And chooses to explore all lives beauty Does not make him homeless They hurt my feeling so bad And it’s a shame cause I’m sure they didn’t realize just cause I’m different does not give them the right to discriminate The hostel is gorgeous but mistakes happen Besides calling me homeless and hurting my feeling so bad I cried The place is awesome I’m still waiting for owner to call me And my refund but the money isn’t the issue it’s my feelings that are the issue So if your different in any way or beat to your own drum or if your happy being you Do t go here they are not kind My name is Lance Russo I’m not happy about the discrimination and absurd comments made by staff The owner still has not called

Clarissa G

Stayed one night with a friend in the private two-bed room Check in was easy, room had everything we needed I do wish the bathroom was a little better enclosed (it had a glass wall all around but the glass was only frosted beginning partially up)

But the fact that they managed to fit so many amenities into the space so efficiently was very impressive Room was very clean Definitely would recommend to travelers on a budget Would visit again
