Spotlessly clean, you could have eaten off the floor! The Management went out of their way to accommodate me and provide little extras and services at no additional charge I rely on a Service Dog, I wastreated extremely professionally and was only asked the question that the American Disabilities Act deems legal to inquire of someone who utilizes a Service Animal I am so impressed

Definitely will stay here again, Definitely will put up my out-of-town guests here in the future

I stayed there with my family for one night Everything in regards to room and the room setting is fine all was clean and room was ready waiting for us The most awkward thing happened when we arrived for breakfast

It was 9AM, there were only eggs in hot dishes, we asked if there was something else, we received not so pleasant reply from DeAnna she said that it was all we got and nothing else was offered, not even cinnamon rolls To my disappointment five minutes latershe brought the sausages and bacon to the other table* noticing, it was coveredup by another plate for no one to see I came to DeAnna and wondered why were we offered sausages or anything else like that She told me that she can fry it up for us too as she has seen my anger I DO NOT NEED FAVOR I paid for breakfast to be included in the price It seems discrimination still takes place Terrible lies had a place to be as well as disrespect towards the guests I will contact management of this hotel It is terrible, ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES remember that If I could put zero stars I WOULD DEFINITELY DO IT

Up in ME early November as my wife decided we should have a waterfront house in Maine to get away from the heat & humidity of Coastal NC Suite was great! I’m used to them being long lengthwise (Cary NC or Mishawaka IN) whereas this was large in width with a door between the living and sleeping area As usual HIEx&S breakfast was awesome

(This was before Biden blew up the economy and stays at other hotels since have not had bacon anymore 🙁 no idea if this location has followed suit but hopefully not) Very friendly staff and awesome that no mask requirements unlike NC at that timeThe house we wanted to look at had a great location but the house needed a lot of work, the access road was horrible and a neighbor was disturbing We told our realtor to double our budget and we fell in love with a house in Hebron; the only bad thing is that Lewiston/Auburn was closer than Waterville when I flew back up for closing (Review of that hotel won’t be as glowing as this one but a different chain anyway)

Stayed a couple nights here for a bachelor party for a buddy of mine and it went smoother than expected Customer service was excellent, the owners Renee and Cam were very friendly, patient, and made us feel welcomed The cabin we stayed in was very clean and comfortable

Boat rentals are very reasonable and were easy to rent We had a blast on the water fishing all sorts of species Such a great place to getaway and have fun with either family or friends Everyone we ran into was super nice as well Would for sure come back here without a second thought!

We stayed at Whisperwood this past July The food and fishing were incredible The hosts Cam and Renee are the most down to earth people who go out of their way to make you feel at home

The boat we rented was in great condition and well maintained Cam was careful to go over it with us prior to renting The cabins are so clean, they’re maintained and every detail considered for every type of customer You want a table for cards, it appears! You have a special dietary request, Renee makes it happen at no extra charge There were even people there that she baked dairy free chocolate chip cookies for! Renee made us a Lobster and Mussel feast our last night that was better than any restaurant I’ve been to! You have to check this place out You won’t be disappointed

We came here to stay for parents drop off weekend at Camp We were so happy to know that we were less than 2 miles from Camp Dropping our youngest off for the first time was a little nerve racking

Cam and Renee are so accommodating and understand our Jewish Community better than most Renee has Kosher lunch meats if needed, Pareve Chocolate Chip Cookies and even has Lox, Bagels and Cream Cheese for us for breakfast It so reasonably priced for all that they have to offer we didn’t’ want to leave and booked for parent pickup and drop off for next year The grounds are beautifully maintained, waterfront immaculate with kayaks and canoes for guests to use for free From the docks you can see the camps outdoor water recreation area Renee even brought down special wraps with Hummus and veggies with fruits and dates for snacks for us if requested No detail is left out to make all of their guests feel welcome We knew of another guest that couldn’t have certain foods and she made him an entirely separate meal each night so he wouldn’t have to worry about it They really go out of their way to make each guest feel special The guests in the dining hall are also wonderful and friendlyWe cannot wait to come back next year It is so peaceful and a much needed reprieve from the city life The cabins really exemplify all that life in Maine has to offer They are clean, well maintained and spacious The staff, housekeepers and family that own it are top notch!Show less

I stayed here for a few nights The hotel has a great location! It is close to I-95 for easy traveling North & South in Maine I was able to travel to Augusta & Bangor Maine really easily thought my stay

The hotel was very clean and up to date There was only a couple downsides; one was the mattress was not too comfortable & the bedding was heavy & hot Also, the bathroom did not have a regular door, it had a sliding barn style door Note that this door does not lock It would be nice if they could install a hook and latch on the inside to help with that They had a nice breakfast selection; cereals, bagels, toast, egg, juices, & my favorite create your own waffle station Most importantly the staff was very friendly & helpful They gave me great recommendations for restaurants in the local area Highly recommend the Silver Street Tavern & the Lions Den

Quyen Mark

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in The rooms are bright and welcoming Front desk are friendly and able to get you checked in and make the necessary room changes

The bathrooms had plenty of towels This is one of the first hotels I did not need to walk down and pickup more towels Rooms were the cleanest I have ever seen and I travel and stay in different hotels in multiple areas in the world Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel

My most recent meal at the Village Inn was the best I’ve ever had there, and I’ve eaten there 50 or more times over the past 25 years Interestingly, I think this was the first time no one in my family ordered the duck, which just goes to show the the new menu is well chosen I had a lamb rack special that was absolutely delicious, with a lovely presentation worthy of the white table cloths they use in the beautiful dining room

The duck pie and the fettuccine my parents had were also delicious I can only assume the steak my brother had was as well because of how quickly he ate it The sauces were perfect and everything was well seasonedService was friendly, but a bit slow I can only imagine how hard it is to get help in Belgrade right now of all times, so I give a pass on this It would have been nice to have a pitcher of water for the table, thoughAll in all, I’m looking forward to continuing to dine at the Village Inn in the coming years, and I hope the chef they’ve got right now sticks around!

Jesse Pauly

We didn’t stay at the Inn but had dinner, and it was outstanding to say the least The pickles green bean appetizer was very pleasant, I had the glazed pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus My wife had the flounder with blanch spinach and flat grit cakes

Then the fabulous deserts, lemon cream layered cake and a salted Carmel cheese cake What an incredible experience we had and highly recommend a visit to this majestic restaurant

The woman that was working the night of April 13th of amazing we ended up having to stop due to the weather and the first hotel our family called about were rude and basically told us we were out of luck because they assumed we were looking to use the room to party Then we came to Fireside and the woman was welcoming and so helpful especially since we were both stressed so she was a breath of fresh air The room was clean and absolutely gorgeous, they had everything for breakfast, and literally every person we encountered there were just amazing but the first woman was our lifesaver

100% coming back
