For me, I’m happy with the hotel I grab a coffee in the morning but that’s about it I don’t eat anything (or haven’t yet) or partaken in any happy hour (yet) but that’s mostly because I work in the evenings or go out with coworkers for dinner

Mornings are early to work so it’s coffee for the road and coffee at the office Ha ha ha Sooo many places to eat and some really outstanding places if you know someone who knows something about the area

Emily C

Great little room It was a good size for one person, but not really for two The only complaints I have were the coffee maker splattered everywhere when brewing and it was a huge mess; also the mini fridge wouldnt even hold my left overs from the night before, and there was no microwave to warm them in the room

Seems like a nice place but the little touches seem to be lacking slightly

Stephen Foster

Recently renovated and the renovation was done very well! The AC worked well and the shower had good hot and cold water Perfect location to many restaurants in walking distance The staff was very accommodating and helpful with everything

The hotel has a very good sized conference room that could easily handle 20-25 people I’ll definitely book here again when I come back

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel Besides the delay in clean towels and additional post-pandemic charges added to the daily cost of the rooms, I would consider coming back againThe front desk team on each shift have been awesome and the continental breakfast each morning is fabulous

Compliments to the team that provide excellent meals and different options each morning for all guests (singles, married couples, and families)

The room was fine Clean and comfortable The breakfast fell short

We were there on Mothers Day morning, at breakfast by 830 No eggs Fruit bowls empty Other foods low Choose our food and sat for 20 minutes Never saw ANYONE tending the breakfast area No more eggs No wiping tables Nothing I get that staffing is short, but 1 person can handle it!

Chris Julian

Almost everything was perfect about this stay Great room, comfortable bed and big TV There were two downsides

No HBO is one The other was getting hassled by the guy at the front desk because he didn’t believe our dog was a service animal He started asking questions deemed illegal by the ADA Some training regarding how to properly comply with the ADA is needed That being said I will definitely stay at this hotel again

This is by far the best quality inn motels I have ever stayed in! I have been to two other quality inn motels and they were horrible! This hotel has clean rooms, clean bathrooms and the beds were comfortable! The ONLY small complaint I have is the water pressure but other than that the temperature was phenomenal! When I went to check out I fixed myself a decaf coffee but they were out and they made me a fresh pot, beyond happy with my stay I definitely recommend this hotel! I don’t know if they have a laundry room or not but I do know they don’t have an elevator which is not a big deal since there are only two floors I will be staying here again! The mini fridge and microwave they have are also updated and big Love love love this place!

Dealing with Hiral has been an absolute pleasure! We have been sending employees down to stay at this Comfort Inn for months during an out of town job and she was always extremely helpful, often going above and beyond her duties to make sure we were taken care of Truly made booking and cancelling a breeze I didn’t stay at this hotel personally so I can’t speak to “my stay” but our employees never complained about noise or cleanliness issues

Rashawn Nance

I understand the service industry can be tough You’re dealing with different personalities all day One word of advice, everyone is not the same nor should they be treated as if they did something wrong simply by checking in

Letting go the obvious bad taste with the lack of welcoming atmosphere, I was introduced to something I couldn’t ignore The room was dirty but felt clean I slept on top of the covers as I always prefer After my alarm went off I saw something out of my peripheral crawling It scattered quickly and I thought nothing of it Then I saw it again on the night stand and it was a roach! Staring at me like I don’t belong here I called the front desk and accused guests of bringing them in She profusely blamed everyone instead of accepting responsibility She then proceeded to ask me to bring it to her for proof, what?!!!! After killing it with my scandal I saw yet another one It doesn’t matter what she thinks it’s obvious you guys have bugs Please check all of room 222 before staying FYI you’ll also have a $150 deposit on arrival even if you used a third party to pay for the hotel

Sala

I’m staying here for a business trip and my company paid for me and some coworkers to stay here for the weekVery disappointed staying at this hotelThe rooms are not clean

My bedding had like dust stuff on itBeen feeling itchy in my roomThe breakfast is disgustingThe front desk is extremely rude after checking in like they put a front up at first pretending to be niceNot helpful at when you ask them for anythingThe pool is closedThe area where the hotel is doesn’t give safe vibes and the other hotel guests I’ve encountered seem sketchyThe company will reply to this saying they can’t find me on their records like I’ve seen in other reviews Well I’m 100% a guest here and this place is gross!!!Trust me please beware and find somewhere better 🙁

About average for a Hampton, which still means it’s a very good hotel The hotel is approaching 20 years old and needs renovation, but it’s still mostly clean and in good shape although shower pressure wasn’t great We had to move rooms due to an awful vibration in the floor (maybe elevator equipment) and they upgraded us to a very spacious studio suite which I’d highly recommend

The pool was nice (no whirlpool) and breakfast was as expected Service was friendly but staff always seemed to be in the back office Overall recommended and we will be back

Cassie Brooks

Everything was very clean, processes were simple and expedient, service was very attentive, good breakfast, and we were very comfortable Our kids used the indoor pool and found plenty of clean towels Breakfast was well-stocked and had a variety of hot and cold offerings

Coffee and hot water were always available, and all staff were friendly and hard-working

My husband and I had our multi-day Hindu wedding at the Westin Aileen was our point of contact and was great to work with! Everything went so smoothlyThe guest rooms and suites were very spacious

Unfortunately, about 50% of our guest’s rooms lost AC on Thursday and Friday, which was not ideal However, the Westin was able to give us a 50% refund on those nights which was appreciatedThe Westin was a fantastic venue for our South Asian wedding, their staff is knowledgeable and professional

Nice suburban location about 20 minutes from the O’Hare airport Most of the eateries in the hotel are closed, I’m sure as a result of the pandemic The bistro has decent selections

Coffee shop offers standard fare Workers aren’t super helpful I ordered a coffee and fruit for almost $14 on two days No one told me they offered a combo that included the coffee, fruit, and a bagel/muffin for $8 (upgrade to specialty coffee option for like $2) I should have taken the time to read through everything but in the chaos of early morning rush, I try not to hold up the line I’ll know for return trips The hotel room I was in was OK Bed comfy Towels were a bit dingy Carpet shows signs of wear I also assume it is the byproduct of less workers due to the pandemic No daily housekeeping but that’s standard for the current times You can order service requests through the app Location is close to my office so I’m sure I’ll be returning

Sara DePew

Whenever I need to stay near Chicago, this is the hotel I choose I appreciate the quiet of the area (even with the airport nearby) and the restaurant has the best hotel breakfast The staff is friendly and helpful and there is free parking; I have always felt safe here, and have never had an issue with my vehicle

There is usually a robe in the bathroom, which is helpful to use if you are going swimming in the fitness center’s pool

I stayed here for business I can say the decor looked kind of old The lobby couch had a huge rip in it and the benches in the breakfast area were pretty uncomfortable

The breakfast was supposed to be a hot breakfast but all they had was eggs one day, eggs and sausage the next However I don’t eat eggs so I ended up settling for toast, cereal or a muffin The staff was super nice but they didn’t have daily housekeeping which was odd I ran out of shampoo and had to go to the front to ask for more My room had a mini fridge but it wasn’t plugged in so I had to plug it in when I got there The couch in my room was pretty stiff I mostly sat in bed to watch TV The pool was closed and it didn’t mention that when booking The bed was a little bit stiff for my liking The toilet was super low to the ground and the toilet seat moved pretty bad each time you sat down or got up, it was pretty loose All in all it was decent price for what you got, just was expecting more from a Marriott franchise The oddest part was another Marriott hotel is in the same parking lot At least crackle barrel is next door

The Fairfield Inn in Naperville was exactly want we needed and was as advertised with everything we wanted to do Our stay was for four nights and overall it was comfortable, quiet and secure The only thing it did not have available was the pool but this was remedied with the pool available to patrons right across the parking lot with their sister property

The hot breakfast had everything we expected with eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, milk, hot coffee, muffins and much more Every morning it was not crowded and there was plenty of food The breakfast bitems were continuously being stocked Nothing ran out! The price per night was reasonable and one of the best prices in the area We were very satisfied with the front staff and everyone working there They answered all our questions and even helped us with freezing our ice packs! We reserved the King Executive Suite and it had plenty of room for the three of us The King bed was comfortable anf the sofa pullout was roomyAlthough the highway was close to us the noise was not a factor The room was clean, maintained, and modern No major problems with curtains, bathroom or electronics Highly recommend this hotel and when we come back around the Chicagoland area we will definitely stay here again

There was no soap in the shower or bathroom We booked this location to use the pool as we are visiting family and have young children The pool was absolutely freezing

Our kids were blue and teeth chattering after 10 minutes Ice maker was broke and breakfast selection was not the best The room we got was a suit but very small Not the best experience at a holiday inn Express

Stephen Webbb

From the moment we drove in the parking lot, we knew it was a hotel unlike any other HIE The parking lot was in bad shape, with pot holes all over the place, and that poor condition of the facilities continued inside The first floor hallway smelled like mildew and must, and our room was always uncomfortably humid, regardless of the A/C setting

While the staff was friendly and breakfast was good, there really wasn’t anything else good about the accommodations

Amal Patel

Where do I begin? Check-in was at 3pm and we arrived at 4:30pm Our rooms were not ready until 6pmThe staff was nice but unfortunately, when our rooms became available, were still incomplete

No tissue paper nor hand soap were in our room Bathrooms in all three rooms were close to filthy The paint on the walls were peeled off, and the window sills dustyThe double rooms have modern TVs and a clear picture However, the king rooms were outdatedThe next morning, we saw that there were many options for breakfast However, the breakfast area was not well-kept as there was trash overflowing from the garbage cans and floor wasn’t vacuumed The food wasn’t being restocked, as bread and bagels were out of stock In addition, the pancake maker was out of order!Maybe it was just a bad day/night but we just expected more from a Holiday Inn & Suites

Wish we were there more than one night- the room was very clean and comfortable, and all the staff were so pleasant and nice- the front desk staff, the cleaning staff and especially the gentleman over the breakfast They even had Turkey sausage which was an A+ in our book because my husband doesn’t eat beef or pork The breakfast choices were PLENTIFUL, not skimpy like some other hotels we’ve been to during Covid

The price was also great compared to other hotels in the area Thank you so much for allowing us to be comfortable away from home Love from Ohio!!!

Kimber Ly

I had the best experience!! Was here for a bowling tournament and the staff was beyond exceptional We drove 10hrs overnight and arrived way sooner than we expected The staff was gracious enough to hurry and get a room ready so we could check in early

The breakfast was pretty good, they have all the staples so even the picky eaters should find something they like I will definitely come back if I visit IL again

Latoya Reed

The breakfast was not much of a variety to choose from There was no fruit for a healthier choice I wish the hotel offered turkey or chicken patties for people who don’t eat or can’t eat pork

The eggs with cheese was cold and horrible The pool was dirty, the only thing good about my stay was that my room was clean I have visited other Hampton hotels but this particular one really was a disappointment, I will not stay here again

This Comfort Suites is run down but they are doing their best There is no breakfast to speak but the staff is friendly During the week it is a nice quite place but on the weekends this hotel is hopping

Loud parties, cigarette and marijuana smoke and lots of people running around If you want to relive your college days I highly recommend booking a weekend stay here

Hannah Jones

NOT for groups!!!We were promised a meeting space with our group, and this was a deciding factor in choosing the hotel However, upon arrival we were told that the new owners do not rent out the room or that it would be $300 (which is a drastic overprice, the room was not good quality other than having tables and chairs) The only bright spot was the evening employee who listened to us and helped us work out something for our group of students

I would NOT recommend this hotel for groups, especially if you are looking to have space to be together The new management is horrible, and clearly they don’t value groups We were also scolded for a noise complaint that was not even our students I would never come back

Great location for where I needed to be during my stay & quite, for the most partDuring my first 2 nights, a lot of families staying for what appeared to be a multiple state school event, with kids running up & down the hall & stairwell Although, I think the loudest incident was the tornado siren that went off outside my window

I went on this trip knowing full well to pay attention to the weather, & for the most part, know what I need to do in case emergency I also seek out the evacuation plans to familiarize myself with the safest route out Right away I found the instructions for a fire but had to search the room for the welcome book to see if there is any further instructions for a tornado Once I finally located it laying on a shelf near the tv, I read the tiny paragraph that told me to shelter in the bathroom if I am in my room or in the hall of the lobby area if I am downstairs For those that do not read the welcome books it might be beneficial to add those instructions to the fire escape plan on the back of the door so when the siren goes off the guests know what to do and are not searching the room for instructions Just happens that a tornado touched down not far from our location & I knew what to do when the siren went off because I searched for the informationOn a different noteIt was great having a kitchenette in the room so that I could make my own meals instead of eating a bunch of fast food the whole time Comfortable seating area to unwind before retiring to a soft pillow in a spacious bed & warm blankets Restaurants, bars & stores are not far down the roadI would definitely consider staying here again if I find myself back in the area

When we first got there the outside wasn’t very appealing at all To the point we thought about finding another place to stay The building was just to plain

Sure they had gas grills you could use that were clean looking But we weren’t there to cook I was having surgery in the morning So I needed to get things done as the hospital requested But we went on inside and the place was really nice and the lady behind the desk was really nice and friendly We told her about what we were thinking when we first drove up She laughed along with us We checked in and went to our room Talk about being pleasantly surprised how the room was and how much space we had all over the room Now as for the bedthat one needed to be changed out for a new one It sagged in the middle some I couldn’t sleep on it due to my neck So I slept on the big couch just fine Tim slept in the bed but didn’t get much sleep due to how the bed was Yes we will stay again when needed Just not the same room/bed We didnt take time to walk around to see the pool and all As we were busy getting ready for my surgery in the morning

The woman at the front desk was one of the friendliest people I’ve ever metThe room was clean and had a mini fridge and microwaveThe bathroom was very clean and the complimentary shampoo, cond and lotion smelled so nice

But the winner is the beds Like sleeping in a cloud The A/C worked great and the sheets were soft and cozy It was fabulous

My flight was canceled so United airlines gave me a voucher to stay there When I got there the lady was overwhelmed at the front desk asked if I had a reservation and told her that the airline had sent me with this voucher She told me they should’ve checked because the hotel was full and nothing was available

After waiting more than an hour she said she could help me because they have extra rooms which she charged to my American Express Later much later when I got into the room I felt like I had been taken and decided to check out immediately She then told me it was my fault because I did have a reservation I didn’t tell her She said telling her that the airline had sent me didn’t explain anything Then she didn’t know how to reverse my American Express charge and when she found my reservation she kept on saying she would take care of it meaning make me pay for something the airline was already doing The lady even asked me to buy her a couple cheeseburgers which I did while she was trying to help out Worse experience I’ve ever had at any hotel abroad or at home in the states I will check next week to be sure they refund my American Express cardif the airport sends you there make sure they take the voucher and don’t put up with any attitude, The lady was absolutely awful Now I am back at the airport sitting on a bench but it’s better than paying that hotel I feel

Strike 1 – The man at the front desk was not very accommodating We were traveling with our family of 6 We asked for more towels when we checked in and were told that housekeeping was gone for the day

Not true because we discovered she was still there Security ended up helping us get towels and the proper bedding for the couch bedStrike 2 – NO Continental breakfast We have been traveling for 3 days from San Antonio Texarkana has a breakfast, free Paducah, KY again has a continental breakfast Chicago hasBurger Theory What theWhy cant they all be consistent!! This is the reason we chose to stay at Holiday Inn’s on our entire 3 week vacation Now reconsideringStrike 3 – No Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Gel in the shower like the previous 2 hotels we stayed in Just the tiny bottles on the sink We pay more to stay in the better hotels for better accommodations and service This hotel needs to discount their price for not having those amenitiesOn the Plus side – We did have a great time in the pool which was open until 11pm and the rooms were cleanFYI – The ceiling are very low Tall people (above about 6′ 3″) stay elsewhere

We we’re pleasantly surprised by the room Nice size room, full fridge with ice maker, sink ,stove, microwave and a recliner made of real leather and even the bedding and towels were high quality The room was so clean, we thought we may have been the first occupants

We will definitely stay there again The only thing it needed was one of those tall lighted signs so you can find it easier at night

We stayed here for 14 days $160000

Because of covid garbage pickup was supposed to be every Sunday, Full service every Wednesday The last time anyone came to our room was 2 Wednesdays ago That’s 10 days I kept calling and going in person to the front desk to ask for at least garbage pickup every day for the last week Each time, I was told that it would be taken care of They even said they would notify the hotel manager I even was told that there would be a message sent to the service persons phone Never kept any of their promises Couldn’t wait to get out of that place And here is the icing on the cake I woke up this morning and found out our refrigerator wasn’t working Lost all the food we had in the freezer and fridge All that money I spent staying here and such terrible service And you would think there would be a free breakfast for what they are charging? No You have to order a breakfast sandwich and a few things to go with it before 8pm the night before, and they charge you full price for it They don’t even give you a free bottle of water Their kitchenette has a full-size coffee maker, a toaster, and an electric stove top No pots or pans to cook with No utensils like spoons, forks, or knives You will have to buy a fry pan or a cooking pot

5 STARS Very clean Exceptional staff

I had a minor surgery prior to staying and they had no problem giving me a couple extra pillows Then I lost a sentimental piece of jewelry and not only were they able to locate it after my departure, their manager called me personally and shipped it to me It’s the little things I will definitely be returning next time I am in town!

I stay here twice a week I have stayed in all the motels in the area in this price range Sleep Inn is miles better than any of them

Everyone at the front desk is polite and professional It’s cleaner than rooms for three times the rate They are serious about clean They have a good breakfast It’s an all around great deal for the money

Clover Spang

Stayed here several times at this point Desk service is very nice n patient Tho the rooms appear clean enough most smell pretty funky

The cleaning lady apparently has a vendetta against me cuz every time I got off or on the elevator she was mopping the floor directly in front of it no matter what time it was!! I’m hella clumsy and tore my hamstring a cpl yrs ago so slick concrete floors make me extremely nervous :/ mopping is NOT the same thing as laying out a red carpet or flower petals in front of guests like Coming to America

You will have GPS it because it’s not upfront on the road Next to a Cracker Barrel which is great I was told they had truck parking

Get there and the Desk Attendant seemed fluttered almost as if she was looking for an argument Instead of truck parking I was told “I could park on the street since for years they’ve never had a problem” After diffusing the initial conversation I asked about an area on the property and was told if I can get my vehicle in there then I could very well park it there So I did just that Breakfast was ok prefab eggs sausage and the like If you’re wanting to rest and relax next to a lake this is the place

This place is run very very well My first encounter was with Debra, who was extremely polite and very helpful Then when I checked in, she bent over backwards to accommodate us in every way

She’s been consistently pleasant, and goes the extra mile Everyone has been great Darryl always checks up on us, as does Marco, and Keith is a fantastic general managerThis stay has been a very pleasant surprise because of the very efficient way that it’s runRecommend

The price is affordable for short and long term stays The staff there are very friendly and super helpful Monica is one of the best staff at the hotel

She’s made me and my husband feel more than welcome and comfortable during our 3 week stay The housekeeping doesn’t always keep up with exchanging towels, supplying toilet paper and giving fresh bed sheets but every time Monica was on shift she always checked and made sure that everything was satisfactory and our needs and wants were met Thank you for the wonderful stay

As a platinum Elite member Staying here now started off going well But regret it and wish I stayed back at Residence inn by Marriott Chicago Oak Brook 790 Jorie Blvd Much better overall

So here is the rundown:1) greeted nicely and professionally by Andrea I believe2) room was clean but didn’t smell the best and carpet needs to be updated as well as other things inside the room3) normally I get a bottle water when I walk in and when I arrived after working a 12hr day (I’m not here for pleasure and will not be back) the lady Terry was sitting in her chair while I was waiting at the front desk for someone to come… she slowly walks towards me with a bothered look on her face… and grumpy I might add… I simply ask may I have a bottle of water please? … She hesitates and slowly walks to where the water is and says I’ll do it this time…Wow!? Really I didn’t ask if I can have a party in the lounge which is closed by the way Definitely needs better customer service skills and will let my many colleagues know to stay away unfortunately and will not get my business I work hard for my money and enjoy supporting people who treat me well Hopefully management will do something and keep professional people to represent you all

The location of the hotel is incredible We were only about 30 minutes away from the city, which was very convenient There are also restaurants all around, so we had plenty of options to choose from, and we were even able to get food delivered to our room

There were some forest preserves nearby as well, so I was able to go on walks with my family The staff was super nice and helpful I highly recommend the hotel

Jonathan Cragoe

it seems obvious to me that management is responsible for lowsy customer service Some important-acting lady was strutting around with her clip-board being snappy with employees and also with me as a customer it sucks when management only cares about their ego, because then they only hire people who service that ego, rather than service the hotel or its guests
