Check in was fast and easy Our room was exceptionally clean and cool The AC worked great

We were there to attend my nephew’s wedding in one of the ballrooms The service at the wedding was superb The king-sized bed in our room was ultra-comfortable I don’t usually sleep well in a strange place, but I must say I slept very well The breakfast in the lounge was absolutely wonderful and the coffee, being that I am very picky about coffee, tasted great Check out was as fast and easy as check in The grounds around the hotel were immaculate I would definitely stay here again in the future if needed

Booked thru hotelscom and had no issues at check-in The desk staff was friendly & welcoming

The room was clean, had no bad smells, & I was asked on what floor I preferred which was top floor away from the elevator The room (523) didn’t offer a nice view but it was quiet & had a small refrigerator which is always nice The bathroom is small – open door blocks shower, but not a problem as a single traveler Water pressure & heat was excellent The king bed was comfortable & the vending & ice machines were both working Overall a good overnight stay close to where I needed to be

February 2022We stayed in the bridal suite and a blocked room The thermostat was set to 68 and you couldn’t go lower Multiple people in the room were sweating (including bride) and there was nothing we could do

I stayed in a separate room overnight and couldn’t sleep because it was too hotBridal suite only includes 3 barstools and two ottomans Hair staff had a hard time doing our hair because the chairs were so high We requested regular chairs and it took about 2-3 hours for them to bring themBridal suite didn’t have towels! It was just an accident I’m sure but there were ZERO towels in the bathroom when we checked in Had to request them the next morning and they brought two sets which was niceWe had breakfast on a Sunday morning No complaints! Everything was hot and fresh The staff were waiting nearby So that was niceMyself and my boyfriend run hot and couldn’t sleep in the hot room For that alone, we wouldn’t stay here again It was HOT

Overall, the accommodations were niceMy only issue was the noise from the a/cWhen we first heard it, I assumed there was a private air strip nearby

I’ve never heardsuch an intrusive and sustained windy noise from an air conditioning ventever

First time staying here Originally picked a room with a view of Main Street Due to a plumbing issue, they bumped us up to a better and larger room

I was disappointed that we lost our view (we were now near the restaurant HVAC, so had the smell of bacon as I stood outside on the balcony in the morning) but the room was very very nice and I appreciated that they took care of us Loved the hardwood floors, the fireplace and even the showerBed was comfy Actually slept until 7am, which I haven’t done in months A nice area too with some good places to eat and a good launching pad to go to the shore areas, Point Pleasant and etcWill probably come back again in the future

3rd or 4th time staying, last 2 👎beautiful rooms, awesome person less service, they are there and responsive if you need them however

if you decide to stay here get a room on the 3rd floor in the back of the buildingand if you are a light sleeper bewareextremely loud Main St, car and fire alarms, delivery trucks, squeaky floors above, not to mention the restaurant directly below leaf blows every morning between 7 and 7:30!!!!!!!! Like I said beautiful but very loud if you get the wrong room

Maia – მაკო Iosava

The overall stay was excellent I am satisfied with the accommodations as well as the cleanliness of the rooms/hotel It is worth mentioning that the room had all appliances in the kitchen where you could cook whatever you liked and also the suite was very comfortable for three people as it has two full beds and separate living room with sofa bed (expanding)

We all really enjoyed the stay and I would go back if I have to The only thing I am less satisfied is the breakfast which was mostly out if frozen foods but self-serve waffles were deliciousThank youMaia

kevin guzman music

Very homely, surrounded by nice woods and I believe a small river The facilities were clean the staff nice and the room was superb Had a nice kitchen with everything included (electric stove, sink, refrigerator, cabinets, plates, utensils the works

Bed was comfortable and the sofa bed was a nice touch! Overall a positive experience, only complaint is that the managers reception is only on Wednesdays Wish it was everyday and also the offerings aren’t anything to write home too Honestly it was the worst thing about it, prisons get better meals and snacks Please make an effort to at least really show you care about the guests that pay money to stay in your building

Five stars is not enough Well maintained Nice gym

Very nice and professional staff We had a rough time with other hotels in the area and this Homewood suites blows all the others out of the water Extra kudos to Teresa (I believe) who was working the night shift and dealt with a handful of very aggressive customers with a smile She was poised and showed much more patience than the average person Thank you!

WhyTigr Lovesya

This hotel is very good and I highly recommend it The location is not the best, as there is nothing close to it other than a Wendy’s restaurant, and you’ll need a car to go anywhere as nothing is within walking distance The hotel staff is very nice and very quick to respond to any issues that may arise during your stay

Unlike some other hotel chains, this hotel does not try to force their way into your room to browse through your possessions and the cleaning staff is very nice tooIf you need a hotel in Central New Jersey and you’re mobile, this is definitely one that I would recommend

Shi’bella B

Very clean cozy and comfortable PHENOMENAL customer service

pool was amazing taking a dip in the pool which was so warm while barbecuing on the grill which was right directly at the pools eye The hotel itself is in a great location very quiet with it being in the cut which was the best part about the locationI will surely recommend as well as go stay there again

What a wonderful hotel! Looks newly renovated and incredibly clean I travel a lot for work and this will definitely be my hotel in the area when I return Their free hot breakfast was amazing! Besides usual pastries and bagels, they had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and make your own hot waffle, which I saw the kids really enjoyed

The room was very comfortable to work in, had good WiFI during my whole stay in room or lobby I’m a hard critic of hotel bathrooms and this one was very good!Five stars from a frequent traveler!

Monika Socha

We recently stayed at the hotel for our wedding reception and it was a wonderful experience The staff, especially the manager on site, was super accommodating and understanding, especially when we were running late and kept some of our vendors waiting They also offered us extra bottles of water knowing that we’ll be returning late and in need of that extra hydration plus they didn’t hesitate to offer us late check out! 🙂 The room was super clean and comfy! Since breakfast is usually served until 10AM, when I came down at 9:35AM the next morning, I expected to find scraps but to my surprise, the breakfast bar was fully stocked! That was definitely very much appreciated and the food was great! Overall, the experience was wonderful and I would definitely recommend staying at this location 🙂 Worth every penny!

Abraham Almagrabi

The two main reasons for reserving this hotel are the pool and the cleanliness; they didn’t disappointThe hotel didn’t get this cleanliness rating for no reason All the way from the reception, through the lobby, to the room, you can sense a fresh smell and you’ll even notice the carpents looking brand new (they could well be) which is sometimes a turn off in other hotels

You then come into the room and smell a sweet scent, as though they’re preparing you for an experienceThe pool was also nice and warm and was pleasant The whole experience was great and would definitely recommendMy only suggestion, if any, would be to actually provide locks for the bathroom doors, as opposed to sliding doors that can’t be locked We had to get used to it quick, but having a family in a room would always be worrisome and we can definitely do without that worryOther than that, we enjoyed the stay very much

The general manager (who comped us a breakfast after the people in the room next door had been partying all night) and the restaurant staff seem to be the only people there who know what they are doingFire alarm went off on Thursday evening; guy at the front desk was walking around laughing and filming with his phone instead of directing guests to proper staging area or even checking if everyone was safe Fire brigade arrived after about 10 minutes and then left without any staff making an effort to inform guests it was safe to come back in

Other person behind front desk seemed supremely disinterested and only gave an explanation after being asked Apparently a malfunction was the reason, as it happened again 10 minutes after and in some rooms they were apparently unable to shut it off only after an hour No apologies whatsoever were offered, only a half-hearted offer to move us to another room, which makes absolutely zero difference if the alarm goes off in the entire hotel Note that we were traveling with a 2-year-old as well, who we had to take out of bed and rush out with several times Again, zero apologies offered for the inconvenience Alarm went off twice more the next day, apparently due to a test which was not announced beforehandGeneral lack of service: no responses to several messages we sent through Bookingcom app before arriving to ask for a baby bed Luckily they did have one, but had to take it up to the room myself, and saw several other people walking around with hotel luggage carts, which would suggest severe staffing shortageFood options in the restaurant were either not available or not prepared as advertised (vegetarian burger was not available, grain bowl was not prepared as listed on the menu), though I suspect this is more due to issues with supplies than with staffBathroom had black mold on the ceiling, housekeeping seemed very understaffed, did not always empty trash cans and never removed dirty glasses we took up from the bar on the first night Water leaking from the ceiling in the restaurant and lobby areasPoolside was full of discarded cups, trash and clothing when I wanted to take my daughter for a swim one morningDry-cleaning service is not available on the premises (I realize it is not explicitly stated that it is) but outsourced to a local dry-cleaners, which would take 3-4 days when we asked for it To their credit, they did provide an alternative after we insisted that that was too longAll in all most of the staff seemed either utterly disinterested in their jobs or in dire need of hospitality training

Made reservation online May 6Tried to add a night on May 10Was directed to the property to make the change

Called the property and spoke with front desk about changes Was told, on May 10, that the changes were made and we were good Got confirmation e-mail 4 days before trip and I see the dates are wrongCall the property and speak with a manager whoo explains to me that the employee who made my changes never actually did anything and now they are booked solid and can do nothing I asked if there was another property near that we could move to I was told that this is a franchise and not linked to other Marriots ???Call Marriot corporate and they too were helpless I then spent over 1k to change flightsThe Worst Customer Service

The pool is beautiful with a brilliant view The weather was especially cooperative the weekend we stayed Love this area of NJ The lounge is a magical step back in time Do treat yourself to a drink there and take in the atmosphere

Harwinne

The staff were very accommodating to our unique needs The rooms themselves had certain useful aspects built in such as a hallway light that did not shine into the sleeping area but provided light at night to go to the bathroom Beds were very comfortable

Pillows quickly went flat but there were nine provided for a king bed and six per double bed

Brittany Anderson

I had my baby shower there a couple weeks ago The staff and Maître d’ Christian were so accommodating and helpful and made sure everything ran perfectly according to the agreed upon schedule If we needed anything they were sure to help

The food and drink (we did the banquet lunch menu and peach Bellini) is amazing there and everyone enjoyed their meals The venue itself is the perfect atmosphere for any event

My children had such a wonderful time staying here! We usually stay with our family when we go back home to New Jersey but this time my little guy was getting over a cold and we couldn’t expose my father who is currently going through chemotherapy Hotel staff for super nice and accommodating! Definitely will return if the situation like this ever arises when we are going home to see family

My son and I stayed on the night of June 16 and everything looked good and clean Staff was nice and welcoming In the morning while we were still in bed I saw a live bug on one of the pillows

Wasn’t sure what was it I put a sock on it and carried the pillow to the bathroom and shook the pillow over the sink There it was a live bug and took a picture and made the image bigger and compare it on Google to check if it was a bed bug Indeed it was a bed bug Grabbed it with a tissue and took it to the front desk to talk to the receptionist She was nice and apologetic about it She mentioned she was going to talk to the manager and maintenance people about it, but for the moment she couldn’t do anything She asked me what else she could do for me and I mentioned a refund She said she needed to talk to someone else, but they were not there for the day, but she offered us a free breakfast I get that people travel from different places here and there, but being a not that cheap of hotel you and you expect not to see this kind of things I said I needed to bring this to her attention because of their reputation and people don’t know any to take this to their homes I’ve never had this experience They never called me back She mentioned they were going to investigate the place I think I gave her the evidence and the bug was still alive in that piece she tissue They needed to call and exterminator or something of that nature instead of investigating what was already evident I hope they did something about it:

I’ve visited the location a few times, it ok, your average 3 star hotel The staff’s customer service is sometimes good sometimes not – but my last visit was a good experience The rooms are spacious, average decor

The noise level is ok, not the quietest, especially during warm months when lots of people are in and out Overall average hotel, my go to when I’m in a bind for cash and or time

Had to book a last minute stay and everyone here was so accommodating The housekeeping was extremely friendly as was everyone at the front desk I never ate in the dining area but they had so many options at reasonable prices The lobby had everything we needed in the small shop so we didn’t have to run out for any snacks or necessities

Bathroom and bedroom fully stocked with soaps, towels, etc Another plus was that they are dog friendly, they even had little complimentary dog treats at the front desks While the hotel room was extremely nice and the entire place was well kept, the employees definitely made our experience! I cant thank you guys enough and we will definitely be returning!

This we will be my new stay in this area from now on The building may look different from the outside but its a great stay on the inside The rooms are comfortable and clean most importantly

I’ll definitely stay here again Not as jam packed as some of the mainstream corporate hotels either There is an Applebee’s bar practically connected to the property if you need a drink Also a 711 in walking distance and some businesses like a pizza place right across the street Great highway access too but far enough away where you don’t hear the traffic Perfect location!

Just sitting in the lobby reflecting back on the absolutely incredible wedding we hosted last night From the very first phone call to Jim, the hotel’s event manager, to the cup of coffee he’s making for me way too early this morning Jim has been nothing short of amazing He made this process so much fun for my daughter and me and we can never say thank you enough

Chef Bobby’s talents shouldn’t go unmentioned either He menu planned with us, made menu items that we threw at him from left field and it was all great We ate at the hotel restaurant Market Yard Grille many times during these months of planning and every meal was delicious! The hotel and restaurant staff are friendly and accommodating Thanks doesn’t seem enough so this shout out to anyone looking to host an event should look no further!! Thank you Jim, Bobby and the entire staff!!!!

We always stay here when in town to see family Rooms are standard This visit our first room was substandard but AMANDA changed our room immediately for the second night with no problems!! She was so pleasant and eager to make us happy

What a valuable asset she is to that staff All other staff members were professional and friendly This is why we come here

Kevin & Holly King

Mediocre hotel The room was farely dated, had an odd bathroom setup, but didn’t smell of smoke The hallways and entrance did smell of smoke and didn’t seem clean

Overall, the place could use some updating and improvements and deep cleaning However, the service was actually very good with friendly personnel throughout Also, the dining area for guests is small, but breakfast was good

JJ Mill

Very clean and nice room, beds etc Price could have a been a bit lower and would have been 5 stars but I guess 154 a night including tax is not too bad for a room with two queen beds for a family of 4 but our in-laws got a room for 118 with two double beds for 118 at the Marriott The breakfast buffet was decent albeit a bit generic but not bad

Some may call it dated, I call it poorly maintained and trashy The curtains were dingy and the room darkening curtains were dry rotted and showed light through The bathroom light in the shower was a weird alien and dim yellow color

Let’s not forget the 30 yr old rusty refrigerator in the room (see photo) A total embarrassment, my college room in the 70s was in better shape In my entire adult life i have never been in a hotel with a rusty refrigerator Welcome to the Third World hotel If visiting the area do yourself a favor and stay away from this place

Mike Elliott (fruitygangles)

Nothing has gone right about this hotel Upon check-in, I was informed that they would place a $100 hold on my account for the duration of my stay, and the rest would be charged at the end of stay Seemed okay, though I wasn’t informed of this policy until check in

The guy at the front desk mentioned it used to be $25 hold, but they changed it to $100 a couple of weeks ago I came to find out as I checked my bank account that they charged me for the full amount of my stay, plus the extra $100 I can already tell from my interaction with the guy at the front desk that it’s gonna be very difficult to get any money back I am also an IHG member, but that means literally nothing at this hotel Strange, since other places recognize and acknowledge that instantlyBeyond all that, the bed feels like sleeping on a slab of concrete The curtains are either eaten up by moths or someone took a knife to them I would recommend sleeping in a box on the corner of the street before this hotel!

This hotel is a joke, don’t waste your money Breakfast buffet is hilarious it’s so empty Manager on duty on July 4th am was so rude

Another day we asked for extra pillow, firstly gave a dirty one then gave one with clean cover but was made of broken up sponge or something Asked for extra blanketsand got told they had none Asked for extra towel and told they had run out but they were doing laundry so would bring them later Definitely never coming back here

It’s a nice hotel Room and bathroom were clean Bed was comfortable and so were the pillows

The blanket was thin however, not sure why they didn’t have a comforter They also have a restaurant and a little store We didn’t eat at the restaurant but their breakfast options were small and undesirable The store was convenient yet ridiculously expensive They sell snacks, water, wine, beer, and small things you might need like medicine, etc Overall it was a good experience The few things I didn’t like were that when we first arrived, exhausted after a long day and drive and wanted to check in, the girl at the front desk was on the phone and would not get off We waited for a very long time and could hear that the customer was asking her ridiculous questions, she kept telling them that she’s have to transfer them to another place but just wasn’t doing it You’re supposed to cater to the people actually in front of you first, not people on the phone, so she should’ve at least put that person on hold or transferred them alreadyBesides that, we were looking forward to getting drinks at their bar and found out that it’s only open from 5 pm until 9 pm Um why? Someone else we ran into was pretty unhappy with that as well Yet they purposely sell alcohol for two/there times the price it’s worth in their little store The last thing was that we requested a late checkout upon check-in and the girl gave us a check-out time of 1 pm Yet the day of our check-out, the phone rang once at 11 am and our key cards stopped working at 12 pm We weren’t ready and didn’t check out until 12:45 pm but luckily it didn’t become an issue

I could not believe the service that I received from this Hotel SUPERB!!!If I could give more stars I would Sharon the manager was such a sweetheart and did more for me than I ever expected

Nate, Brandon, Ryan, and Maggie were front desk associates who made my stay memorable and provided stellar customer service Any time I visit Wall Township, this will be the ONLY hotel I will stay at I am beyond pleased with my stay here and will be doing so for the foreseeable future

Firstly, there is nothing around this hotel ( restaurants bars erc)The maintenance of the rooms is lacking , the sink in my room was clogged , the ironing board would wrinkle your cloths even more Where most hotels which do not provide complementary breakfast provide coffee in the lobby , at this hotel there is only ( expensive) coffee for purchase( the coffee in the rooms is the liw end kind and is complimented by powdered whiteners

)The AC in the room will either freeze you or the room will be warm and damp when the temperature is selected to a warmer temperatureThe windows have not been cleaned in a while ( the windows in the photo are not steamed or wet)couldn’t see much outside on a nice clear dayThe front desk staff was responsive and helpfuloverall, not a pleasant stay

Suite 234: the smell is absolutely unbearable! We reported the issue at the front desk, cleaning crew came and cleaned and sprayed the room It smelled good for five minutes, then it went back to old carpet smell! For the price we paid per night, this was absolutely UNaceptable! We understand this could be a long term rental for some travelers, they might have cooked, or had an animal with them, so please, MAINTAIN THE CARPETS! The smell is terrible!

WATCH YOUR PETS AND YOUR CHILDREN I’m pretty annoyed We’re staying here for 6 months with a young dog, and things have been pretty good until this point

My biggest complaints have been that the couch is extraordinarily saggy and the TV in the bedroom can only play Netflix for about 10 minutes at a time But the past week our dog has been licking his paws, and I think today we figured out why I found a flag in the lawn which said “Pesticide treated area” A week ago a landscaping crew was here, spreading mulch and giving things a trim This is supposed to be a pet-friendly hotel They posed one tiny flag ONE Around the entire hotel! I walked around today and checked We’ve been having him romp and play in poison for a week! He’s been licking his feet because they’ve been so irritated by the chemicals, so I’m sure he’s ingested some of them It would have been nice if they had given more warning than one tiny flag to warn us of the hazard

My family needed a place to stay down the shore for a long weekend and are so glad we found Chateau Inn and Suites! It is so charming and the location couldn’t be better (10 min walk to the beach, 5 min walk to the main stretch of Spring Lake, and easy access to all of the other busier shore towns) The rooms were clean, cozy, and quiet (couldn’t hear my 2 year old nephew crying in the room next door) There are lots of places to sit and gather with a group, and it was so convenient to have badges, beach chairs, beach bags, and towels available

You could also rent bikes for a minimal fee Although they don’t offer breakfast, they have an agreement with a local shop that delivers delicious breakfast quickly! They also have round-the-clock cucumber water, lemon water, iced tea, and coffee available in the lobby The staff was very helpful and friendly – they spent a solid 30 min trying to get our TV working, and when they couldn’t they offered us a gift card for breakfast

We love this place! Great location, wonderful staff, April was amazing both times we have stayed thereI do not want to say too much about this hidden gem, but I have to give it up to this hotel My grandparents owned motels and bungalows on the NJ shore, that being said I have a lifetime of NJ shore experience 🙂 We had not to returned to the NJ shore after my family sold the properties until this place was recommended to us during COVID Shutdown

This place is very special, a unique combination of great location, wonderful staff and comfortable accommodations I would recommend it to everyone I know but then it would be even more difficult to find a vacancy :)Thank you for our second wonderful stay there, we will be back ASAP 🙂

This Inn is very unique and different It’s a very old building and has a lot of character It’s like a bed and breakfast but without the breakfast

It doesn’t offer a lot of amenities, but has a lot of warmth and charm All of the rooms are clean and fully updated Parking is limited when the building is at full capacity Rooms have a lot of different lighting options and offer a refrigerator, an iron, hair dryer and wall mount flat screen TV The bed is very comfortable The only drawback was the close proximity to the train tracks It reminded me of the movie My Cousin Vinny when I was woken by a train at 5:36 in the morning
